Good morning! We purchased 2016 Chrytsler Town & Country Van from Autonation Laurel MD on 08/23/2023 since we purchased the vehicle has issues which was notified to the dealer, which they agreed to fix later as the part was on back order,
in next 3 days it has other issues such as engine turnoff, jerks and check engine lights came on.
Van was going back and forth to the service dept in 2 months finally the part came in and van went to service dept where they found out that van has transmission issues, in the meantime Sales Manager offered a Brand-New Buick 2024 encore and processed the loan and did not give as full value of the van and add depreciation value in our new loan. which is not fair for us to pay any amount for defective vehicle within 90 days.
it was very risky and dangerous to drive that defective vehicle as it was turned off on main road at the light and engine shutoff,
we went through so much stress and hassle during this time.
this has been notified to dealer and General Manager by email about the van issues and defective vehicle,
Later the VAN was sold to the Auction within a week as it was a defective vehicle with transmission problem which they took money from us and add into our new loan,
Around $5000 they add into our new loan for the defective vehicle was given to us and we have to pay the price which is not fair for us.
We live on paycheck to paycheck and $5000+ is lot of amounts for us to pay,
I request to the higher Authority to please look into it and re-pay the additional amount charged to us for a defective vehicle which was sold to the auction right away.
we have all emails and service records in order to present if needed.
At this point this is our a humbly request for reimbursement of our additional amount was charged for a defective vehicle.
Please help us.
Thank You
