battery charge
I dropped a battery to get a charge last night. They told me it would be ready in an hour. I came back the next day to pick it up. I had a job to do so I figure the battery would be ready to go. But when I got there at 9 am the battery was never put on the charger.
The employeesat this auto zone play around too much. Everyone you walk into this store there always a playful atmosphere . They always drop the ball this is not the first second or third time I've had problems with this staff. I advise people not to go to the Auto Zone at 17552 nw 27 ave. Miami FL. They will make you lose money. From now on I'm going to another auto parts store.

r & r computer that was never order!!!
My mechanic ordered a R & R Computer for my car on March 24th of this year. He took the computer with him to show them what part I needed. The part came to $249.30 at the time he ordered this person told him that the part would be back by the 6th of April which it did not never come. Then when we went back they told him that it would be there by April 14th which it did not come. After being so frustrated and boring cars to get backwards and forth to work. I went up there today to find out that the part is not even ordered because they needed the old computer which he has had with him every time he went up there. But they did not never tell him that they needed the old one before they can order it. I think the employees at AutoZone need to be better trained to read the computer when they're ordering parts so they can tell their customers what needs to take place. This has been very frustrating, and has cost me more money trying to borrow cars to get backwards and forth to work and take care of my personal business. I really hope you AutoZone can do better.

credit cards
On April 18 2018 I went to auto zone on east Hillsboro [protected] to purchase an alternator for an 2004 Ford explorer. I thought it was price at 131 but it wasn't it came up to 171 because you have to bring in the old one so on my debit card I had only 151.61 so it was declined but for some reason it took my 151.61 off my card the the computer went down so she went to another one to try an give my money back it didn't work I have call my bank put in a dispute with auto zone because I have nothing from this transactions my money is gone and the manager name Gary says he can't do nothing but on my phone it was considered a purchase but I don't have no part or my money please give me my money back
customer service
The women you have working there or too busy doing other things like horsing around and not being professional. I was late to work because my battery from my vehicle needed charging because my girlfriend left the inside lights on and it drained my battery to 20% so I decided to take a 10 mile drive to the AutoZone in Fontana to have my battery charged when I arrived they told me they would take care of charging it and that it will be ready in a hour after an hour and 30 minutes past I drove back to the AutoZone in Fontana to pick up my battery and I'm seeing how unprofessional this woman is breaking her back caring this heavy battery with both arms in front of her stomach then she test the battery and I see she struggling to tell me that the battery needs more charging and I tell her how much charge does it have and she replies it only has 20% so I reply I have no time for this I need to get to work all she could say I'm sorry and the part that disappoints me more is at the battery was still cold now for me understanding a charging of a battery because I have a charger at work they tend to warm up and this battery was cold as ice so my complaint is somebody needs to get ahold of these managers and make amends with their clients because somebody's not doing their jobs We the People then employ the people on these facilities needs to understand customers come first because I do not have hours to spare when I have to be at my job and thanks to unprofessional employees at this facility is very disappointing this is how we end up going with other competitors please advise the manager at this facility to be more professional and stripped with their employees...
a battery replacement
My mother had her battery replaced by a Auto Repair shop about 2 years ago, and the repair shop purchased an Auto Zone Duralast Gold Battery. Unfortunately the repair shop has closed, the battery will not hold a charge anymore and when I went to Auto Zone they refused to replace the Battery. They could see from the Date code on the Battery it was Manufactured in April of 2016 so it was clearly in warranty. They said the repair shop had to initiate the replacement. Since they are closed the woman told me I was SOL! but I could purchase a new battery but they wouldn't replace the defective Battery.
I find this unbelievable. Let me tell you How Walmart handles Battery replacements. They scan the Serial Number on the battery and they can tell where and when the battery was sold, and the give you the warranty on the battery. I purchased a battery for my truck 3 years ago in NY and Walmart replaced it with no hassles in Georgia 2 months ago, so I have a reference point on how it should be handled. I did purchase the replacement Battery from Walmart.
I will never do business with Auto Zone EVER! I will use O'Reliey's or Advance Auto Parts they seem to care about Customer Satisfaction
Also I will be filing a Negative claim with the BBB.
wrong amount on a product when getting a refund
My husband and I went to return a few products we didn't use yesterday afternoon and the assistant mgr Victor gave my husband the wrong amount back. I then looked at the orig receipt and the refund receipt and I went back inside with my husband to let him know he owed us a few dollars in difference and he immediately dismissed me like I was wrong and I had to go back during the week when there was a manager there. There alone was wrong customer service in his part. He continued to take care of the other person and told me to wait (very rudely). He paused with the customer to let me know that there was a discount on the receipt but I went to explain to him that the 2.00 discount was for the oil we bought not for the product I was returning. And again as dismissive as before he said there's nothing I can do for u. I asked the other gentleman if he could help me with a refund and he told me tgat only managers are allowed (looking at Victor) then I realized his name tag said asst mgr. And at that point I was very upset because not only was I getting dismissed and getting horrible customer service I realized it was from a lying manager! He gave us refund of 10.99 for that item but we paid 12.99 (plus tax of course) and I guess he realized he was wrong and walked over to the register opened it and took 2.00 and handed it to me...but his mannerisms and attitude is horrible for him being a manager and representing your company. The 2.00 he owed us was not the big problem, it was the principle of the matter and how he went about it to take care of a good customer. We live few blocks from this store and we go out of our way to other stores because we've seen this attitude at this store before. My company does alot of business with Auto Zone and it's a shame if you all don't fix issues and loose customers that could be long lasting.
store manager dawyd
Very unprofessional arrogant and rude store manager Dawyd jecelles. I was pushed to an extent where it felt like I was getting mugged on the street. I came with my customer to get her a battery and this man was forcing my customer to buy the most expensive battery. Very bad bad behavior! this manager must be fired immediately for his actions!I will not go this location ever again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here
Who hired this person to harrass customers?!

assistant manager
I went in to return a battery (my father bought one) I have only been in this store a couple of times. The battery is extremely heavy! So i approach the front counter near the entrance. They are very busy totally understandable its Sunday time to fix things. There is another line to the right of me at the counter where they look up parts. There wasn't a line when I came in just a couple of customers. So I know when my turn is. The 2 employees i see are working very hard and i am waiting patiently. Then this gentleman comes around the corner and say ma'am I'll be right with you, wait do you need to check out? I replied no I have a return, mind you the line has gotten very long by now. He replied oh well you need to get in line. I said I'm next so on not getting in line, his reply to that was well if you want a refund! I have a chronic back pain so I didn't get in line in the first place is because I can't hold this massive battery or put it down and pick it up as the line moves. I continue to stay at the counter. My turn came up and this young gentleman named Greg approached me with complete care and concern also apologizes completely professional. I asked who the gentleman was that spoke to me that way he said the assistant manager...WOW! I asked his name he said Phillip. Greg did a wonderful job! As for Phillip, I understand he may be busy or under pressure but it isn't my fault. He knew what he was hired for when he took this roll with AutoZone. Autozone should stand behind what they stand for! Helping! Maybe I dont shop this company alot but I know when I need something in this line of products I choose AutoZone. If it wasn't for Greg I wouldn't ever shop there again! Customer Service should be priority and superb! Phillip treated me with none! AutoZone in Foley you need to re evaluate who your assistant manager is.
manager
I was a customer recently at AutoZone Winnsboro Rd. I overheard an employee, Ken telling his "friends" as well as sister to "come into the store I got the hook-up". I observed several customers coming into the store, and him placing products on the counter and them being taken without being paid for. When confronted he stated "Im a manger I can do what I want to do."
inappropriate behavior
I went into the store to try to get some help with my radiator and there were 3 people there one gentleman was busy helping another customer so I went looking for some other help and found two people one male one female both with gray shirts on making out in an office. I was so disgusted I left without even buying anything! I will never shop at this store again!
battery
The employee Jerry at store 2122 just flipped me off complained couldn't get bottom screw off told me I had to go somewhere else when my warranty is there Clearly he didn't want to do job kept complaining gonna take to long I had 2001chevy Tahoe, I then went to auto shop and got them to get bolt off bottom battery went back to AutoZone and Jerry informed me he couldn't do he had to go to lunch then past off job to younglady who had no knowledge, she left me and my son outside 15 min I finally went and was like seriously they said they had other customers I said yeah that came after me then she said sorry she didn't know how then Finally Ms Diane came up and helped finish this job I was there back and forth and still had to wait this was worst service ever by Mr Jerry I really don't appreciate it at all and really feel I should be compensated
customer service complaint
I went to 1734 S. Richey st. Pasadena tx. 77502 today around 7pm. I went in and asked to purchase a radiator top. The "manager" told me that he could not find a radiator cap and that I needed to buy the whole package for $52. I told him that i only needed the cap and he stated that is all they had in the system. I then told him that what else could I use...

Yes autozone has fired 2 black employees at store 2371 for doing things the store manager has told them to do are allowed them to do ! Mishandling equipment was one ! The loaner tools ! The store manager Rachel Branch told her employees to let customers use loaner tools in the parking lot ! The store manager Rachel Branch has rung up both employees that was fired with the rewards cards that they was fired for ! The store manager Rachel Branch also is dating one of her white employees both are married !William Terry turned his key and shirt in and tried to quit in front of these employees William Terry is white she didn't report it didn't tell the DM all because she is dating him ! Told the employees to keep it quite ! On March 27 I was fired along with another AutoZone who was black ! But the store manager Rachel Branch was not fired! Zach has record of her ringing up the AutoZoner with the card ! Still she not fired this is clearly because she is white! Loaner tools going outside she tells us it ok ! Well I no I will be contacting a lawyer ! I was put in harm's way by the store manager by her having an office affair! William Terry wife threatened to tell Rachel Branch husband if he didn't quit! Still they hide this and instructed her employees not to mention it! Well I have a great case against AutoZone 2371! Racial profiling and double standards
not open when scheduled too.
I work in the morning at 8:30. So I looked up what time autozone is open because there is one near my job and the website says 7:30. I was happy about that because I could get what I needed really quick and go straight to work. So I leave my house at 7:15 and get here and wait, just to verify I check the store hours sign on the window and it says 7:30 as well. As I'm writing this it's now 8:00 on the dot and no one is in the parking lot except me with the doors still locked. 5 min late is understandable, 10 min late is understandable as well. But it's been 30 min now and still no sign of anyone? People have to be places at scheduled times so we're relying on places such as autozone to be open when their scheduled too! The autozone I'm at is located at..

Store: AutoZone
Location: Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos, California
Date of Incident: 03/26/2018
Approximate Time: 7:35PM
I was in the store and in line to get help in purchasing the right light bulbs for my car. There was one person ahead of me. As I was waiting in line, another gentleman walked in and stood behind me. When it is my turn to be helped, the Autozone employee picked the gentleman behind me instead of me. I was like... what? I told the employee that I was standing in line and I am supposed to be next. He said he will be right with me. The employee ended up helping the other gentleman by asking him the parts that he was looking for and punching the info into the computer to find the parts. I don't mind people cut in and ask a quick question but this wasn't one. This is the same reason why I stood in line for so that I can ask the question and get the right part numbers. This is so UNPROFESSIONAL! I felt disrespected, offended, and discriminated.
The Autozone employee is a Mexican and I am an Asian.
employment/management
Recently went to my district manager from 1426 I'm a part sales manager there or Hub specialist rather and walked into the commercial Department and on the dry erase board right in front of where the customers are normally standing was the word vagina in big bold red letters. And there was also a drawing similar at the time that this happened the manager on duty for the store was Dakota and the red shirts were all goofing off throwing things cussing loudly Etc including him. When I asked the other manager on duty name to Andy who was responsible for what was written on the board he said it was Dakota and John. For the record Dakota is our newest assistant store manager and many times I have come in late to work on truck in the evening without him being aware of my presence with him cussing obscene words starting with f loud very loudly just over and over and over and being very unprofessional witness to this would be Scott Tatum. Since I went with this to the district manager as I took a picture and sent to him as an example of what I have been trying to tell him for some time now about the inappropriate behaviors at our store and the unprofessionalism on the counter, I have been met with nitpicking to the point this past Saturday Dakota himself and another employee were insulting me as I walked up and overheard Dakota took off the other employee said he was just kidding and then later texted me that he was sorry he insulted me, I made the comment back to him that the store would be lucky if I came back because I was so sick and tired of being ridiculed and having to work in such extreme circumstances and harsh environment because if anyone says anything about things that are not done correctly or that are inappropriate they are made to suffer for it via schedules etcetera I know this cuz it has happened to me many times. When I made the comment through text message to an employee whose name is Mark Cryer who also was in charge of commercial that day that the vagina word was noticed and put it on the board he also witnessed this he is the one that wiped it off the board and was well aware that it was going on too, but when I texted him that the state would be lucky if I came back from lunch upon getting back to the store and clocking in from lunch I was pulled aside by Dakota once again and told to go home for the day losing my hours even though I was not the initiator or the instigator this is a retaliation and I have had it there is not only one situation this is stem back many many months from the very first time that I contacted my district manager directly and my store manager was not okay with it thinking I had gone over his head but I was told to do so by my district manager concerning a crime hit by an ABC Auto Parts truck while standing outside my car by my ex-boyfriend I am in counseling for sexual assault about to lose my home trying to plan a wedding for my oldest child I am a single mother of 2 in college was given a hard time about my attendance as well concerning all of the counseling appointments doctor's appointments district attorney and County attorney Prosecutors Office appointments having to meet with the Sheriff's Department an appointment with my lawyer I also got food poisoning and strain a flu at separate times throughout all of this and was given a very hard time about being off even with a doctor's note and still counted against my points I'm aware of the laws and I do know that when you are a victim of a violent crime it is against the law for your place of employment to give you a hard time I plan to exercise my rights to the fullest extent of the law and will not be treated like this buy anyone least of all the company I have worked very hard for for the past 3 years. Just company slowly but surely has pushed me to the breaking point I cry while I'm at work shaking because they push and poke and push and push and I watch them do it to me the other employees until they finally quit but I have literally come to the point of a nervous breakdown and I have contacted a physician and therapist
customer service
I went into the store today asking for help and was told to make line. Once I did, they attended a lady before me with a person that spoke Spanish. I waited in line and was supposed to be attended my a guy but he told me if i spoke spanish, I had to wait. I was about to go to a helper that spoke Spanish but was told again to wait because the customer had to go get a paper from her card. All this time a worker was available for me but simply because I spoke Spanish I had to wait. This was discrimination and was unjust.
service
I visited the store in Sicklerville Nj at 7:32 am on Mon March 19, 2018. Since the store opens at 7:30 i was the first customer. As soon as the door open the "Manager" rudely said how can I help you! I proceeded to go into the store, I ask him if he could help tighten the bolt on my cable on the battery. I told i brought a battery last week and I know that the bolt was loose because there wasn't a connection to the post. He begin to yell about it's probably the cable, its probably something else, all this time he never had been to the car yet? So we went to my car I lift the hood and he continue to say that it wasn't the bolt it wasn't this it wasn't that. I knew that it was the bolt because the guy said he didn't do it very tight so I wouldn't have problems getting it off if I needed to, but it was just too loose. It started giving me problems by not cutting on and I would have to lift up the hood and jiggle it a little and then it will start so I knew that was all it needed was to be tightening. So I finally just told him I really just need for him to tighten the boat, he was still screaming it is not the cable it is not that and then he said very rudely if you would shut up and let me tell you what's wrong at that point I asked him to step away from my car and I told him that I did not need his Services any longer I proceeded to go to the front door to get the phone number of the manager or the district regional and he said go ahead write it down it's right there do what you want. I used to work for the company I am very aware of the customer service practices and I was appalled by his attitude and his behavior and his vulgar language and I believe it was because only me and him was at the store that he behave this way. Unfortunately this kind of stuff happens far too much with men and a woman I don't think if I was a guy he would have said any of those things. AutoZone has a very strict customer service policy and they put their business on how they treat their customer this is something that should never happen ever again this person should not only be a manager but his disrespect for the authority of the leader that was on the sign of the door was very surprising to me I hope that this kind of thing never happens again to anyone and I really hope that this letter gets into the right hands and he gets the coaching that he needs.
hours/after call
I called the autozone on dawson rd Albany ga around 7:45pm and I was there about 8:40pm. It was listed as closing at 9pm. I drove over there to buy a belt I had called to make sure they had. Pretty sure I talked to someone named Joseph. Closing early especially knowing someone was coming is bad business. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about autozone
refusal of service
My first stop at auto zone to get my battery checked and they didn't have it in stock. They referred me to auto zone at 1531 Elysian fields ave New Orleans louisiana 70117. They had the car battery in stock but refused to change my battery saying they didn't have enough employees and I'm looking 3 employees in the face. I forgot her name but I know the other employee name was Kendra. This is very inconvenient to customers when its your only transportation. I will not return to auto zone ever
