Alternator demolished
Went in for a battery change since my battery was dying and they forgot to put the battery hold down and the battery was not hooked up correctly causing my car to completely shut down.
Multiple cars almost hit me.
On the freeway autozone put my life on jeopardy and risked my life.
Emergency lights did not work.
My new battery was installed incorrectly by autozone.
The whole time it was depending on my alternator.
Desired outcome: I need the original Toyota Camry 2012 alternator fixed.Now.& the original battery hood down is missing.I need this now.
No update has been made. NO EMAIL, PHONE CALL, NOTHING.
It is URGENT
Bad customer service

Desired outcome: Better service
Service
Good evening,
I have been loyal customer at auto zone, but today has been a nightmare from hell. I called earlier today to order a battery online and to have it delivered the same day. I received a call 2 hours later indicating that the battery was not in stock, but that they did have it in stock at the mt Zion location, i indicated that it clearly stated that it was in stock online, but they indicated they would have to refund my money back and that I would have to order it online from the mt zion location. they only refunded me 115.78 even though i paid 119.86. i then order the same battery from the mt Zion location for same day delivery, about an hour later i received text message indicating they could not deliver and that i would have to come pick it up. I had a long conversation with rep Mario who was very rude and not understanding of the situation. he indicated the only thing he could do was give me a refund, again I paid 120.15 for the battery which was more than i paid at lake city location on the 1st order, but again they only refunded me 116.07. both of these instances happened all with in a 5-hour period. so as of right now truck will not start and i am still without a battery. i am very disappointed with the service and the customer service. please see order numbers noted below.

Desired outcome: Battery should be free of charge due the inconvenience.

I ordered the replacement fan bracket to install fan in 2009 Malibu from Autozone because it said it would be delivered in three days. Now I get an email saying it's been delayed. I specifically ordered it from Autozone so i could get it as soon as possible since it is -5 degrees outside. it you can't get the part to the customer don't lie about having it in stock.
Desired outcome: I need the bracket so my daughter won't freeze to death driving her car.
Bad customer service
Hello my name is Georgi Tunchev
Phone number [protected]
I have very bad experience in one of your store 1545 S Congress Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33445
Description of The Store Manager working there (obese guy with tattoos)
Was very unprofessional and rude.
I will explain to you what actually happened
Few weeks ago I purchase a oxygen sensor blank 1 for Hyundai Elantra 2001, because my engine light was On
After replacing the oxygen sensor B1, the engine light continues to be on. That's why I return the sensor. I purchased a new sensor blank B2 but after a few days my engine light turned on again.
I ask the staff from Autozone to diagnose with their computer my car
They give me a report saying oxygen. Sensor B1 has to be changed.
They told me they have one in stock. I wanted to buy a new one but the manager try to sell me the same one which I return a few days ago...
I told him he have to order the new one because I already try that sensor and it was not working and it was not pointing to be replaced again. The manager get upset and told me:” why did I give back the previous sensor after I'm
Already using into my car”
How am I m supposed to know if this sensor is working if I Don't install it?
The manager kept being unprofessional and start blaming my mechanic
Per the manager of your store-” My mechanic is not good and it's not a real mechanic “
I paid for my part and I was so confused and shocked after the store Manager comments
I didn't did nothing wrong to be the treated so disrespectful - After I pick up my part which I already paid tomorrow I will never will come back to this store anymore!
Worst experience ever!
Sincerely
Georgi Tunchev
Desired outcome: Giving multiple training to the store manager Angry management, customer service satisfaction, probation period
Phone service
I called the store in Carson City on William St. And gave them a part # & the guy says sure ,we have 3 of them.So I said I will see you soon, even though I was walking as my car won't start.I get there & they did not have any.The other store had them, but even though I walked over there ,they could not have the part brought from the other store same day.WHAT THE HECK IS THE MATTER WHEN 2 STORES CANT SWAP PARTS SAME DAY.AND IF THE STORE I CALLED SAYS THEY GOT PARTS BUT DONT.IT IS LIKE 30 DEGREES OUTSIDE & I WALKED 3 MILES BECAUSE THE GUY SAID OK.2 stores in same town.
Desired outcome: Back to the way autozone used to work.I have been dealing with autozone since early 1980s ( in Mississippi) & they used to provide better service.
Auto Battery - Mer: Benz -2003, C320 V6,3.2L Awd,4Matic. Ref.#978209Dt.11/16/2022 Price $229.37.
Hi, my name is Prem Lawrence, 4205 Suffolk Trail, Greensboro, N C 27407. My Benz won't start, so I sought the help of the AAA Motor Club. The tech came & checked out the problem& concluded that the battery was dead. The alternator was fine. I drove the car to the AutoZone on 4407 Gate City Blvd, Greensboro. They also checked the battery & concluded that the battery was dead. Removed the battery & sold ma another (supposed to be brand new). I asked him to make sure it was brand new & not refurbished& he answered it was brand new. I drove back home & when I tried to start the car the very next day, it didn't. With the help of a battery pack from a friend of mine I tried to jump start the car. Not even the interior light came on. I was so disappointed. I trusted AutoZone & never expected this experience. I have purchased a few other items from this store so, I went there to make this big purchase. I asked the employees& the manager to help me, but they refused. The battery is a big & heavy one & I cannot lift it, as I had surgery on my rt hand. I paid $100/- to AAA man to jump it the first time &I cannot pay another &100/- to tow my car or jump start again. Had they sold me the good battery the first time, I wouldn't be in this shape. So, I request you kindly help me to resolve the problem as early as possible. My contact # is [protected]. Thanking in advance, Prem Lawrence.
Parts
I purchased a motor, transmission and air condition system from Autozone back in may and April of this year. They commercial manager at the autozone in Dillon S.C. overly insisted that I take it to Davis auto repair in Dillon also. I took it back several times, spoke with the district manager about this who insisted I would be taken care of only to be put off by both.
Desired outcome: Refund for purchase and cost of removing parts and the installation price i paid for all.
Previous employee
On numorious times, The SM degradded me, at times in front of other Zoners.
this last time, the SM J. Mendez, attempted to show me a process for a task,
Date: Nov. 10th 2022 @ 6pm
when I did this correctly (or so I thought) his exact words; "I must be an [censored], yep Im an [censored]" he said this on the selling foor! in front of other employees (I wasnt sure customers were in the store or not).
Date: Nov. 9th 2022
prior to this matter, he questioned me on my "personal well being". Quote"why do you spend so much time in the bathroom! end quote.. so much so that I had to mention something I didn't want to say (I had a Prostate and Stomach Cancer scare a little while back, & I require some additional time) - THIS IS A PERSONAL MATTER of which he questioned... this behavor is unacceptable
ESPECIALLY FROM A STORE MANAGER!
I was off friday the 11th,
on Saturday the 12th, I went in and expected to stay the day, I noticed a nice set of model cars w/the AZ logos on them at the pick up counter. I then asked the CM (Frank) what are these? are they for sale? his answer: Quote" ARE YOU [censored]ING KIDDING ME"? ARE YOU IN ASTORE THAT SELLS AUTO SUPPLIES? I then asked Frank to please not curse at me. - didnt listen
he said it again.. on the selling floor, other emplyees in the building..
- I waited untill some help came in, and after being treated like crap from the SM and now from the CSM.. I just turned in my key and punched out and left!
this is absolutely NOT the way to treat ANYONE!
Desired outcome: Termination of both Emplyees. a letter of apoligy to me and an explanition of why i was treated like this from the very beginningps.. these two incidents ARE just the tip of the iceburg on how i was treated - at multiple store locations.

Alternator and Battery
To Whom It May Concern:
I have been a regular customer fr decades, and your employees are AMAZING... but there's one issue that I am having . I purchased an Alternator and a battery on 07/07/22 , well yesterday they both had to be replaced and I HAD TO PAY for them to be installed due to poor quality... I feel so CHEATED by you. Is there anything YOU CAN do to reimburse me for the installation?
1. I have the receipts of purchase, and the receipt of installation by the mechanic...Please Help
Yours Truly
Life Time customer
Warranty
I bought a throttle position sensor with a lifetime wrranty.. which turned out to be defective and when I called the store the employee told me to return it ,he found that I had bought it 3 years prior . I purchased a new one from the store ,did the swap when I tried to return the bad device they told me my history only went back to 2020. I've been buying from autozone for at least 10 years with the same phone number.
Desired outcome: Want my history back with the other several life time warranty, alt. brakes ,etc.
Commercial account
Please save yourself the heartache and never use this company as a commercial vendor. The only consistency is that you will be let down. Not only do they deliver your parts to the wrong shop and then take an extra day to fix it, they allow employees to steal parts purchased by another company and then force that company to wait until the employee returns the parts. No refund, no replacement parts sent in the mean time while tracking down the their employee. You being the customer will always be a victim with autozone. The managers will lie to you and coax you anyway they can to get you into a contract and then they will have a paralegal bully you into paying invoices for parts you never recieved. We are currently working with our own attorney to get this resolved. Big corporations like this love to screw the little guys because they know they can. Aside from that the parts are garbage anyways. Amazon will get you twice the quality of parts from name brand vendors, not China, for half the cost and it will be delivered next day 99% of the time.
Desired outcome: Autozone will never earn my business again. What was once a company I spent 10 to 15k on parts a month with is just a sad memory down the road. They have cost my company thousands and I will get what's mine. One way or another.
Online order
Ordered a starter for home delivery from the STORE that had the part INSTOCK and now they are shipping it from the west coast! I paid NEXT DAY DELIVERY! No refund for shipping! They ADMITTED it was there fault but can do anything about it! Now missing more work and costing me more! NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AUTOZONE! Go to advanced auto or Napa instead!
Desired outcome: I want the part for free since they are costing me now 4 days of missed work I have to use personal time off for!!!!!!
Customer Service
Store #4911
Location: 5645 Virginia Beach Blvd/Newtown Road, Virginia Beach VA
Today I enter he store unknowingly what I needed and what to expect. Jeff W extended customer service with a personality. He was knowledgeable, exhibited professionalism, and personality was everything. You need more staff like him, to make a customer who is clueless, yet rely on your staff to provide information is everything and I'm glad I stop by the store today. I live 45 minutes out and today was worth the drive.
Avion and Harold the Managers were both nice, they engaged with the customer. Thank you for making a customer feel important and appreciated!

nutech reman engine 5.3 chevy 09 silverado warranty claim wc00111896
I took my truck to a shop to have a remanufactured engine installed. This shop bought a nutech engine from AutoZone. If I had known this is what they were going to do I would have cancelled the job because I wanted a Jasper engine. But after the engine was installed it was too late for me to change anything so I picked up my truck. My truck did not go 3000 miles before I started to have engine problems low oil pressure and a tapping sound coming from the top end I called the nutech 800 number and foundout that they are owned by Autozone and what they do is rebrand engines that are supplied by LKQ. Autozone is who the engine is warrantied through. My truck has now been in the shop for four weeks and I was just told that it's going to be at least another two weeks before they will deliver another motor to the shop that I brought it into to have the motor replaced again. What I was not aware of until this whole scenario started was that the warranty only pays $50 per shop hour for warranty work. Now I don't know a shop in this country that has a rate anywhere close to $50 an hour. Not to mention what they are expecting is that I pay the full bill of the warranty work and then try to get reimbursed through new tech after they have inspected the motor that's going to be shipped back to them. For the first three weeks of this whole scenario of the warranty problems it was next to impossible to get a hold of anybody they have made it very difficult for both me and the mechanic to get anything done. They asked for pictures they asked for the mechanic to hook up a pressure gauge to the oil filter assembly somehow and get a accurate oil pressure reading and send them a picture of it all of this was done and then it was over a week before we heard anything as to what they were going to do. Mind you this is an engine that has 3000 miles on it and my oil pressure was 11 to 12 PSI at idle. The fact that this engine did not even last 3000 miles in my opinion means that this whole scenario should not even cost me $1.00 let alone the other $60 per hour that the shop charges because their rate is actually $110 an hour. I was also informed that they only pay $40 towards shop supplies and fluids on the warranty work. Can you buy the coolant and oil necessary to do the job for under $40 because I can't. I've spoken to people within AutoZone who have spoken to the regional manager and I was told that they are not willing to do anything extra or take into consideration the fact that this only lasted not even 3000 miles...
Desired outcome: I would like to see AutoZone pay my mechanic to replace a faulty engine and if they chose to then go after LKQ to be reimbursed for the faulty engine but this should not cost me $1
Online
I decided to order my part online because the nearest store that had this item was 45miles away. Sadly after a week the part still has not shipped. I called Autozone online customer support they refused to allow me to pick up my part in store or to cancel my order. I am still in the process of waiting for my part or getting my order canceled still no delivery yet they’ve charged me for the part over a week ago. As you see in the picture item was ready to ship 8 days ago. This is not a special order item. Over 20 stores within a hundred miles of me have this item in stock. I’ll never order another part online with them again. Worse online experience and customer service. They still haven’t even sent me an email updating about anything.
Desired outcome: At this point cancel order and a refund
Same here, ordered online. Still waiting for product after a week. Called customer service TWICE only to have them lie to me and say it has been shipped. USPS has no record of it in the mail stream. Only a "label" has been created. I also didn't want to make a 30 mile trip to get the parts. I thought it would be great to have them shipped to my door. Never again.
Service
I went to Autozone on 441 in Lady Lake Florida to get common 12 mm lug nuts for my golf cart. After waiting while the employee was loud ad boisterous telling stories to fellow employees I finally got called over. I tried to hand her a 12mm example of a common lug nut and asked if I could purchase 16 of them she told me they have many different sizes in the...

In reference to store 4077 at 14466 Main St. Hesperia CA. The managers there Leslie, Richard are very rude to me, a lifelong customer. They refuse to give me a battery after they gave mine to someone who found that little slip I dropped and came and pick it up. If an ID had been shown to pick up a product that was entrusted with them, this would not have...

I extremely dissatisfied with the online service. I order two front KYB struts for my vehicle which had gotten canceled due to the warehouse not having the struts in stock (order#[protected]). I used a Memorial Day promotion which was a 20% coupon. I called on June 2, 2022, and spoke with Venegas, Samuel who emailed me another 20% coupon, code PROJECTTIME. Credit was pending to be released, so it was on hold at the time I had called. The online promotion on June 2nd was a 15% promo, and since I had used a 20% promo and Venegas, Samuel called and confirmed that the warehouse did not have either the KYB or Duralast brand front struts for my vehicle in stock. Samuel said that the inventory for the Duralast was also incorrect. Hence why he emailed a 20% off code, that I could use for online orders for instore purchases. Samuel said on June 2nd that he had called the nearby AutoZone store located in Columbia md and Laurel md and they informed him that they do not have the struts in stock. I had called shortly afterwards and was informed otherwise, and they confirmed that they did not receive any calls from an AutoZone online customer support representative and had even put the struts on the hold shelf for me. Two nearby locations had the two front Duralast brand struts in stock, and currently still do. The credit did not get released until today, attempted to use the 20% off coupon that was emailed to me by Venegas, Samuel, but it had expired.
Called to try to receive a replacement 20% coupon that is not expired that I can utilize online for instore pick up. I was told to use the current online 20% promotion which is JUNESAVINGS, which can only be used for ship to home online orders only, which is a huge inconvenience to have to wait to receive the struts if the warehouse has them in stock, which I had confirmed with an AutoZone store associate from a nearby location that they had called and confirmed they do not have either brands in stock at the warehouse. The representative that I had spoken to over the phone from AutoZone online customer service had informed me that they do have the Duralast brand struts in stock, without calling the warehouse to confirm, and since I was already inconvenienced and do not want to be inconvenienced any further I had asked if I could be emailed a coupon that is equivalent to what I would have saved utilizing what was equivalent to the 20% memorial coupon that was used during the transaction that was canceled or the 20% coupon that was emailed to me that I did not get a chance to utilize prior to its expiration which was PROJECTTIME. The online customer service representative informed me that she can only send a max of a 25 dollar off coupon that I could utilize in the store. Mail me out a 15-dollar gift card which I would have to wait for and a 10-dollar coupon. In addition, when I had spoken to the in-store AutoZone representatives that had the Duralast brand front struts in stock they had said they can only apply a 10% off discount and had said unfortunately since it was an online purchase it would have to be rectified by calling online customer support. I am mortified by this experience and will take my business elsewhere. I have never had a bad experience with AutoZone before and I have not only worked for AutoZone, but I have been a loyal customer for years. I will go to Advance Auto parts where they value me as a customer.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and a 20% coupon that I could use for in store pick up.
