Avas Flowers Awful arrangement at an insane amount og $

I can't believe this company can actually charge what they did for the arrangement that my Mother sent me for my anniversary. I could have gone to the grocery store and purchased a $10 bouquet that would have been 100% nicer than what I got. They charged my Mom over $100 for the below arrangement!

Avas Flowers Flower order by fraudulent company

Ava's Flowers Complaint Filed with Attorney General of New Jersey 12/14/2020 Order # 7667820 on 12/11/2020 I ordered flowers online from Ava's Flowers. The link made it appear that they were local (Garden City, Idaho 83714). I am retired on a fixed income and their ad said free delivery which caught me. My sister had sent me $50 to go in on flowers for my sister who is very ill. I ordered an arrangement for $75.00 with free delivery. The order clearly stated one day delivery was available but I chose delivery for the next day, 12/12/2020 so it would be there well before Christmas. I paid using a credit card. As soon as I clicked payment a receipt came up on the screen showing additional service fees that were not made known before which increased the order to $101.70. The next day on 12/12/2020 I called my sister and she had not received any flowers so I went back to the emailed receipt I had been given and tracked the package which then showed the delivery was to be made on 12/28/2020! I immediately went online to their site and found that there was no way to cancel the order even though there is an option to cancel the order - the site just sends you around in circles with no way to instantly contact them. That is when I knew I had been scammed. I went online and saw the hundreds of complaints about this company - no flowers delivered, late deliveries, flowers dead on arrival, order not what was ordered, inflated and hidden additional fees charged... After an hour I finally got a working phone number and was on hold for over 45 minutes then an Hispanic man answered finally and I told him I wanted to cancel my order placed only the day before. He put me on hold for about 25 minutes. He came back on saying it was too late to cancel because it was already processed - even though it was not being delivered until after Christmas? I argued with him for a good 15 minutes and he said he would refund $17. I demanded full refund and he put me on hold again for a long time. He came back saying the same thing then I threatened him with legal action and filing complaints with everyone I could find if they did not immediately refund my $101.70. He put me back on hold and another Hispanic man who was supposed to be his manager came on saying he would refund me $83.00. I said I would watch my credit card and wait for it to be done - he said it would take 4-5 business days. I demanded it in full again and hung up saying I was contacting my credit card services. which I did - to cancel the credit card so they could not charge me any more. they said the refund would still go through. I filed a fraud claim with the credit card services. Then I received another call from Ava's Flowers saying that they would refund at least the $83 but they would keep the rest for "services rendered" - ridiculous. Well today, I received an email from them saying that "a refund in the amount of $17.95 has been issued. It may take up to 10 days to process this refund." I want my money back! I want this place shut down.

Avas Flowers Thanksgiving floral display

The order was placed with delivery date of day before Thanksgiving.
It was not delivered Wednesday so I called back and was going to cancel the order and I was told it would be delivered on Thanksgiving Day with 100 percent refund if not delivered on Thanksgiving. It was delivered the day after Thanksgiving and have been told that a refund will not be issued and that a small discount would be issued on the next order. I have explained that I was assured 3 times that a 100 percent refund would be issued if not delivered on time and now that is not being honored along with the fact that they were delivered after the holiday which was to be a centerpiece for the Thanksgiving Table. Spending frustrating time on the phone not getting anywhere with representatives and no refund being issued.

Avas Flowers Handling of my order

On Nov 11, I placed two orders for flowers to be delivered on Nov 11 and Nov 23. The order for Nov. 11 went fine, but on the morning of the 23rd, I received an email saying the flowers I had ordered were not available. They gave me two choices to select from as an alternative. I selected one and then received an email saying that had a refund coming for $17.98. At first I assumed this was because the flowers cost less. But later, I checked to find it was because they had not included the chocolates I had ordered along with the flowers. I tried for some time to contact them on their website without success. I finally told them to cancel the order. After several go rounds, I received an email saying they wanted to discuss the order with me, and asked what time would it be convenient for me. I responded, 9:00 a.m. this morning. As yet, I have heard nothing. I'm guessing they are going to deliver flowers anyway. The company's web site is the worst I have ever worked with, but I'll try one more time to find out the status.

On November 13 2020 I ordered a floral arrangement( Harmony) to be delivered for a birthday November 28. As of Monday, November 30 2020 the flowers had not been delivered. The excuse was the vendor was not open on November 28. they had two weeks to advise they could not meet my delivery requirements so I could cancel and schedule with a different vendor . Upon contacting customer service arrangements were made for delivery later in the day on November 30 which did take place. However a substitute arrangement was delivered not of the quality I had paid. I cannot recommend dealing with this Business.

Avas Flowers Charged me the full service fee although only delivered 1 of the 3 items I ordered!

I ordered:
1 Dozen Red Roses
1 Red Vase
2 Happy Birthday Balloons

They charged me for the whole lot PLUS the delivery/service fees but only delivered the 1 dozen red roses - at the very end of the delivery window (7pm). As a result, my wife had no "Happy Birthday" balloons on her actual birthday and I had to go out and get her balloons the next day. I feel that they should have refunded most (or all) of the service/delivery fees for the extreme inconvenience and disappointment they caused.

This is experience was positively the worst experience I have ever had with a flower delivery company. I send flowers to various people throughout the US many times a year.
I have never been so disappointed with my purchase before.
The arrangemennt they sent looked like a $10 Kroger arrangement they dropped in a vase and delivered. Thank goodness my mother-in-law sent me a picture or I would have never known the degree of deception this company uses. I was on hold two different times for 30 min a piece. They finally came back and offered me an in-house $50 credit. I laughed out loud at the idea of ever using this company again. Then they said they would call me back in 30 min. Surprise... No return call.

Avas Flowers Paid non-delivery of flowers $97.22

I ordered a dozen roses on 10/20/2020 to be delivered 10/21 for $97.22 to include vase. Delivery was never made. Intended recipient received a phone inquiry whether she had received them. Her response was NO. Whoever called said that she would receive them post haste. This did not happen. However, in all fairness, I received an apologetic phone call 11/03/2020 advising me that they would be delivered TODAY. This remains to be seen, but I am hopeful. I've gone through all the hoops & obstacles this website has to make it as difficult for a complaint to be voiced and documented. My name is Reyes J. Rodriguez @ [protected]. Good luck to whomever!

Avas Flowers Flower spray I ordered for a funeral service

I placed an order for a spray for a funeral and it looked nothing like what I had ordered. I paid $165.00 and was so embarrassed of what I had received. I asked for a banner and it was just a little flower card with our names on it. the smallest spray out there. I asked for it to be delivered my 3:00 pm and it got there like close to 5 pm. I order another spray from another company with the banner and look how beautiful it came out and I only paid $114.00 for that one.

Avas Flowers Scam flower company... Do not order from them

Ordered and charged $106 for a $49 bouquet with same day delivery. Never delivered and when I called they said they cancelled the order yet no refund I had to call my bank and dispute. The woman named george sounded like she was from india and the supervisor cesar never called back as I was told he would. Then we received a call the next day saying they were excited to inform us we were set for delivery the following day (now 3 days late) which I had explained was ridiculous and they need to refund my money as i've already reordered elsewhere plus they had already informed me they cancelled my order the day after without my requesting to do so. A week later still no refund and I will have to dispute with my bank.
Don't order from them... Crooks

Avas Flowers Scam rip off florist

Ordered and charged $106 for a $49 bouquet with same day delivery. Never delivered and when I called they said they cancelled the order yet no refund I had to call my bank and dispute. The woman named george sounded like she was from India and the supervisor Cesar never called back as I was told he would. Don't order from them...CROOKS

Avas Flowers Paid but no flowers delivered!

I ordered flowers on sept. 18 and paid $131.05 on my credit card. I paid an extra $10 to make sure the flowers and a box of chocolate candy were delivered the same day.
The address for avas flowers is new jersey and my delivery was in lafayette hill, pa, a suburb of philadelphia.
The flowers were never delivered! They were for my daughter in law because her father died. I am furious and heartbroken to have been scammed by this company!
I contacted them by email with no resolution. They said a local company delivered the flowers but they were not received.
What can I do to report this place?

Explain this!

i paid $99.09 (large)and you sent a $64.99 (small) arrangement.

You will not make it right, sending me an email saying the florist who delivered the flowers said it was a large. You can see it is not a large bouquet and the lady who received it said it was very small!
when i called i was told you would redeliver. That did not happen.

Buyer beware!

These people should be investigated with so many complaints out there!

Avas Flowers Flower bouquet

I ordered flowers online via Ava's Flowers. I paid $55 for the Medium bouquet and chose it based on the image. The image shows numerous flowers - over 17 sunflowers, roses, etc. When the bouquet was delivered to my friend for her birthday, it had 7 flowers. This isn't even HALF the number of flowers shown in the image. I filled out the online form for Ava's complaining about the number of flowers. The option provided was to have the bouquet picked up an redone; I chose this option. I received an email back stating that the bouquet delivered met their standards and they would not be redoing it. I'm not sure how 17 + flowers is the same as 7 flowers. You can see in the two images that the only thing in common are the types of flowers, not the quantity.

On sept 18 2020 I ordered 1 bouquet of flowers 1 box med size of candy and 1 birthday wishes card. Order number 7435971 to sonia delgado 407 robbins road neptune nj. Price was $117. Oo
They delivered 2 bouquet of the same flowers and 2 of the same cards I couldnt believe it so I contacted them explaining it. Someone contacted me back they were delivered. I looked them up on the internet and they are loaded with complaints as no delivery but took the money and wrong orders. So I wrote back again they gave me 2 order numbers # 7435971 and 7435972 never heard from them. There website says they have a 9.5 out of ten great rating. They charged my card $147.00.
Please help the consumers out with this phony rip off company.

Avas Flowers Two large sprays for funeral in Van Alstyne TX

False advertising, terrible embarrassing results. Over charges. I paid $390 for 2 large sprays. They were pitiful, full of gaping holes with no flowers and laking the personalized $10 banners I had paid for each of them. This company should be taken off of every site that is sponsoring it. They lie and cheat and for something as significant as funeral. Nothing can be done about them NOTHING. They just will keep bilking people out of their money and disappointing and devastating them. DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT USE THEM. They somehow got on YELP and I thought they were a local florist. When the agent could not pronounce Van Alstyne it gave me pause. But I had already spent 30 minutes trying to order the two sprays because he kept mixing up the cards. I doubt they were right either. This is just horrible.

Avas Flowers False advertising / dismal delivery

I ordered a medium sized arrangement that I paid $60.00 for. I received an order substituted as a small for one. If the arrangement from "as shown" I ordered vs the one I received were supposed to be twins, you wouldn't even call them Fraternal. Dismal and disappointing delivery. I received a $20.00 store credit to use with their garbage services and products as resolution. Go directly to your local florist or hell, roast s'mores on a bonfire with $80.00... it would be more fun and logical than spending ANY money with this company. Con artists and the florists they partner with are questionable ethically as well. F grade with the BBB for one and a one star rating overall. Joke is on me for not researching their garbage prior. Seriously, you're better off giving a homeless stranger your money opposed to buying through Ava's, I would have been MUCH more fulfilled to do that then waste it here as I have. See picture of order VS what was delivered. $60.00 dollars worth huh. Thanks guys!

On 7/8 I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to a friend using an AVAS online "special offer". The price was $44.95 with free delivery. Turned out to be $64.94 (free delivery, but was in there after all in the form of a $19.95 "service charge".). Within 15 minutes I tried to cancel the order, but got a message that customer service would be in touch...

Avas Flowers Flowers & delivery

I placed an order on 8/13/2020 for a particular arrangement then I received a phone call informing me that they would have to make a change in my order selection and also the delivery date. I was not a happy camper I then informed the lady that called that the order would have to be delivered by 3:00 to the place of business. Well I received the tracking info and it stated that UPS has until 9:00pm to get the order delivered. NOT WHAT I REQUESTED. I immediately contacted a customer service rep and stated what had happened to see if he could make sure that the order would be there by 3:00pm he stated that UPS could not be changed.

I will never order anything else from your company after this bad experience that I am having. 1st not the arrangement that I order then not delivered when I requested. Why the heck do you people offer flowers that you can't provide that is false advertising and then you can't even get it delivered when requested.

This is a horrible business and I will never do business with your company again after this experience! I will be telling everyone that I know how bad this has been and what you company does to people.
