unauthorized credit card charges
on Tuesday, January 09, 2018 my Discover card ending in 2123 was charged with a software purchase of $59.99.I have a free Avast account but have no knowledge of this transaction and would like to have this charge removed from my account. I did not order this software and would like to have this resolved as soon as possible. Wondering how this company gained access to my Discover Card.
unauthorized card charge
On January 16th, 2018 my MasterCard at Nordea Bank Sweden with the last digits ...4124 has been debited with the amount 449 SEK. The receiver is DRI AVAST Software, and the reference of the payment is: "avast com ord".
I have a valid Avast Internet Security with expiration date 10/2/2019 so I neither had any need to extend my Avast license nor I had definitely authorized the above transaction.
I request return of 449 SEK to my MasterCard as the above withdrawal caused the debit on my credit account.

On the 09 November 2021, I purchased Avast Anti-track Premium to the cost of R99 which was debited from credit card ending with 3884.
But now a year later on 11.10.2022 an amount of R479 was debited from credit card ending with 3884 for the above mentioned product, of which it is a transaction I never authorized it and do not know about.
I would request a refund of R479 since I never authorized it and no longer using windows O/s!
avast software charges to my amex

on 11/28/17 my AMEX was charged 2 times for the amount of $53.43 under the "DRI*AVAST SOFTWARE" from "AVAST.COM/ORD"
1st. GC4322012330055343 and 2nd. GC4322732550055343.
I do not recall ordering any software from you, was this charge in error ?

avast-being charged twice
In Dec. earlier this month, my trial was running out so I opted to buy Avats on sale.
I have been charged $49.91 and $41.59. I would like a refund of the $49.91 as I cannot pay both.
My adapter burned out and I couldn't cancel the free trial roll over.

avast antivirus/unauthorized credit card charges
two years ago, unhappy with avast services, I cancelled my subscription.
I was never refunded any money. a year later, I had money withdrawn from my account for another years service, without my acknowledgement. I was livid. I called and talked to someone there and told them to refund my money and to never use my account again. lo and behold, 4 days ago, they did it again!
calling avast tonight to try to get satisfaction.if not possible, i will sue.

According to my credit card report on 18 of November 2017 i was charged by DRI AVAST SOFTWARE USA an amount of 49.99 US$ .I didn't make any purchase from AVAST lately . I am an AVAST client number [protected] and i have an active subscription till 9 of June 2018. My last payment to AVAST was done with the same credit card.
Please check the meaning of this payment and confirm if is done by AVAST by error or the credit card details were used by an unauthorized person . I alrady inform the credit card company for an unauthorized charged.
computer cleaning program
I never authorized this transaction, period. It just showed up on my credit card bill. I would appreciate a complete refund for this charge. I don't have documents or invoices in regard to this transaction because I did not purchase it. There is no correspondence, the charge just showed up on my credit card. I do not have a computer and cancelled this over a year ago. Why was I charged? I want this removed from my Discover bill immediately. avast internet security and avast cleanup
I do not like these two products (Avast Internet Security and Avast Cleanup) and when I called to cancel them I was told there would be no refund because I had passed the 30 day use period. The Avast Internet Security still has 9 months left on the contract and the Avast Cleanup has 18 months left. Aside from it being very difficult to speak to an Avast service representative I am also angry at their refund policy. MY Bad! Won't happen again. Beware of the Avast predatory marketing practices!
unauthorized credit card charge - refund request
So I tecieved an E-mail about automatic renewal of avast software called avast cleanup 6 days ago. Becuase I didn't want it I clicked on the link for my subscriptions portal. And Then the website told me:
We are sorry, an unexpected error occurred processing your request. Please try again.
So I didn't know what to do. I went to options in avast in my pc and I disabled avast clean up. I was hoping it wouldn't be renewed since I disabled it.
Now I am getting email for automatic renewal and I am really unhappy with it. I haven't permitted avast (or at least I couldn't cancel it) anywhere for automatic renewal and I would like my money back.

I have the same problem with Avast 6 mo later. the links in their email do not work and the go to the portal connects to nothing. I emailed them two weeks ago and have yet to get a reply.
Unfortunately disabling Avast clean-up just disables a feature in the program, and does not affect your subscription in any way. 9wood gave excellent advice. If you have been charged already, try contacting Avast directly to see if they can assist you with a refund.

I cancelled my premium membership december 10/2015. I don't know how I missed this but they charged me 53.11 on march 6 of this hear an again on october 29th. I haven't had this for 2 years and all of a sudden they start charging me again. Trying to get a hold of this company is a nightmare. Some of the phone numbers are out of service, tech support is useless, their a bunch of [censor], the renewal e-mail they sent me had a licence number and a password to get into my account, which I closed 2 years ago keeps telling me its invalid of course it is you [censor] there's no account. The e-mail I received after I finally got a hold of these scammers said that my money will be refunded because I asked for the money back before the 30 day warranty was up, what about the money you stole from me in march. I still have the free version that wont even open now, it keeps giving me an error code. I want every cent that this company stole from me back in my account or I will be in touch with consumer affairs, the better business bureau and my states attorney general.

I was charged $44.99 for something I never ordered or received and now I have been charged a $25 NSF fee for a purchases I never requested nor had money to pay for. I would like the $44.99 returned AND the $25 fee returned because I Don't have any way to replace it. PLEEASE!

You should attempt to contact Avast to see if they can assist you. If a mistake was made by you, then you will most likely not have the funds returned. However if the charges were fraudulent or unauthorized, then contact your bank to dispute the charges and get a new card with a new card number issued to you.

The program updated recently with anti spy for the web cam and an updater, well since then my computer starts acting up. I called them and they wanted to charge me again for services I was supposedly already paying for, The Lady from India or wherever she was from was rude and stated the software doesnt PROTECT my computer from everything that hackers throw at it, I said my anti malware picked it up why wont your so called anti virus program of which I STRONGLY believe is whats causing it. avast cleanup
I was on the trial software. Before the trial date was up, I canceled it. Avast charged me anyhow. Order date was August 27, 2017. Canceled out on the 24th of September. When I called I told them I had it canceled ahead of time. The only way they will think about returning my money into my account, is if I allow permission to go through my computer. They want to go into and see all thats on my computer. I told them that wasn't legal and I would report them.
