I was dissatisfied with the service at my local waukesha, wi branch of bathfitters. I asked to speak to mgr, situation was forwarded to the regional manager, Darren Smith, who was in the office at the time of my call. He could not help me with my issue or would not. I then asked for the corporate phone number so I could go up the chain of command. He repeatedly refused to give me the phone number and basically told me all calls would be routed directly back to him and that was that. DUH! If your title is regional manager, you obviously have a superior... I went on line, like anyone else would and got the info I needed to call the corporate office. No, my issue was not resolved, Bathfitters is extremely unhelpful once they have your money, unless you want to give them more.

But, my issue with them is they VERY poor Customer service I received. As a professional in the field I found it very disconcerting that someone would refuse a simple request for corporate information. I obviously wanted to make a complaint, for the simple fact that it makes the entire industry look bad when you run into people/outfits like this...

My advice to Home owners is to really research and get references. Ask for both satisfied and dissatisfied references and then let the evidence stand on its own. If they are truly a good company they will not have an issue.

Bath Fitters is BAD NEWS! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
I signed a contract with them to have work done and gave a $200.00 deposit check to confirm the price. I changed my mind within the allotted time frame. I was told that the contract paperwork would be disposed of and that the check would be shredded.
About 2 weeks later I went to purchase something on my credit card and it declined. When I went to my bank account I found that they tried to cash the check that they allegedly destroyed. I was FURIOUS!
I spoke to a manager, Mike, who was a snit, who stated "do you want my help! Im trying to help you!' Al l I got was a pathetic apology and they also refused to give me the name of the CEO! I will never do business with them again!

I agree that Bath Fitters is very poor in following up on customer complaints. I have been waiting for over a week and a half for a manager to call back. It appears that once they have your money, they don't have much care about you beyond that point.

I also had a bad experience with Bath fitter they say one thing get your money and then oh by the way it's somethings else! They said the work is done in one day...nope they wanna come back another when you don't have time. Poor customer service when you trying to get a straight answer not professional at all. I pray I get my deposit back. I wouldn't recommend them to any body too many excuses coming from this company!

I had a problem with bathfitter. Instead of it being a 1 day job. It is a 4 day job. I ordered doors and they never put in the order for my bathtub. I wasn’t told they had to order door for my shower. Then my doors finally came I. For my tub. Bit they never ordered doors for my shower. Still waiting.

Bath fitters sucks. They're a bunch of crooks! They allow managers to pursue relationships w married men. They hide the affair thru emails on company time. She gives extra hours & money to the men she's screwing on the side & all while she is married. I need the info for HR to report this all. She kept on until he had to switch jobs! Then when he asked for paystubs she immediately starts w the sexual harassment again! This has to stop its NOT OK & I WILL BE EXPOSING IT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT!

Bf Charlotte performed work at my home then 10 days later I discovered I was missing between two and three thousand dollars cash. bath fitter employees stole the money from a closed closet opposite from where they were working. I was home the entire time but I was downstairs and they were upstairs. bath fitter employees violated my trust and the security of my home. I contacted Charlotte, Tennessee and Quebec. Only response was Charlotte manager came out to my home to inspect where the crime took place and to try to tell me that perhaps I, myself, had moved/hidden the money and forgotten where. This leads me to believe that the entire Charlotte operation are corrupt thieves. The manager did go on vacation right after my money went missing. I hope someone reading this will think twice before contracting with bath fitter. You will get your shower in one day but at what cost? Missing money, stress related health issues and who knows what else they took that I have yet to discover? DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SORRY LIKE ME.
