Bella Terra Cosmetics service

I felt really forced and pressured into buying products and I spent $160 on products after feeling forced into it and being told my skin was so bad it needed this products. They would not drop it offering free brushes and stuff until I agreed to it. I didn't have much choice. I then find products on amazon for half the price. I feel cheated. It was really really aggressive way of service. I really don't know what to do and the receipt says no refunds. The whole way it was handled was just really unprofessional and I felt forced into it.

Bella Terra Cosmetics complaint

My daughter and I took a weekend trip to Houston. We stopped by Gallaria for the first time in Houston. We were walking to Pink and a rep stopped my 10 year old daughter, trying to hand her something. I stepped in and this man had me on the seat, putting makeup on me with brushes that have been on everyone else. He would not stop with me. I kept saying no and it continued. I ended up buying product, but got in my car later and found out that everything he said to me was a complete lie. I feel so take advantage of and violated. On the website it states I can get a refund within 14 days and I plan to do that. It looks like the news has been involved in different areas due to people being taken advantage of and money taken. I read these statements from other people and feel like a harassment lawsuit should happen or at least lawyers or news media to expose these awful selling tactics. I'm surprised the Gallaria in Houston a classy mall would allow these monsters to get into peoples space, and lie and take money from their customers

Bella Terra Cosmetics the guy trying to sell me products and not letting me leave and doesn't take no for an answer

Today at the Deerbrook mall I was on way back to the exit to meet my parents and he stopped me and kept trying to get me to buy his products even when I told him I was broke and tried leaving. He would not stop so I had to run. He claims to be from Israel but I don't buy it. I just wanna get away. It felt like harassment especially since I don't do well with sales people.

I was at the grapevine mills mall in grapevine, tx today and my daughter and I were accosted by a man with this company. When I was there the makeup looked great, but when I got home and was really able to look, it looked HORRIBLE. He was using brushes that had clearly been used on other people and he too said he was from Israel. I can only imagine it was the same guy. Said his name was Tom.

Bella Terra Cosmetics mascara price

I got stopped at the galleria mall in Houston by ab Israeli girl who wanted to to my make up, try the BB cream etc.
I accepted out of curiosity, ended up buying a blush and a mascara . The price if the mascara was 39 dollars, a bit pricey I thought but went for it. She insisted in giving me something for free, I told her I didn't need anything.. she insisted I took at least an eyeshadow so I accepted although I don't like loose powder eyeshadow..
Coming home I decided to check their website and to my surprise the mascara us 19 dollars.
I feel really fooled, didn't think this was possible in America...
Will return and confront her about it...
And will never buy anything from this company again..

Good luck. Those Israeli run kiosks won't accept returns.

Bella Terra Cosmetics product price

Run from these people! I normally don't even go to the mall because of the harassment but I had to return something and the girl took out 2 people trying to get to me! Makeup looked fine but you can't really see with the lower lights and the mirror wasn't close, got me for $225 and I don't like the products at all! Ugh! I will probably use the bronzer for eye shadow but $70 is pretty pricey for shadow! I liked the B.B. Cream and she told me I needed the "powder" to go with it, got home and realized the powder is a foundation and looks thick and cakey when used together...NEVER AGAIN! The people are all from Israel, that's why they have the accents.

Bella Terra Cosmetics disrespectful saleswoman @ barton creek mall location

I was passing by the stand at the mall today (03/27) around 4:30pm and the lady there called me over, I tried to say no but she said she would just show me some free samples. She started putting make-up on me and did half of my face, and kept trying to get me to buy the product and I kept trying to tell her I couldn't at the moment but she wouldn't take no for an answer. I liked the product but when I told here that I didn't have the money for it at the moment but would probably come back for it she laughed at me and told me that I shouldn't becoming to the mall if I don't have any money and then she continued to laugh. I was incredibly upset and I really hope that she gets fired. That was incredibly rude, especially when I was really considering coming back for it but after her attitude towards me and her remark I never will.

Shortly before 4 pm, 3/27/2019, at Barton Creek Mall, a young lady offered me a free sample of some cream. This turned into a “sample treatment” and hard sales pitch, beginning at $700 per bottle. I said I would have to discuss such a purchase with my wife. Then it was $398 with something else added for free. I still said I need to discuss with my wife. This led to smaller sizes being available, then the big tube for “only $199!” “ Do it for yourself and don’t talk to your wife!” She said. I said I won’t break my wife’s trust and walked away. She gave me her business card hoping “I’ll ‘bite’ later.”

STAY AWAY!

Bella Terra Cosmetics customer service from sales personnel

Your products are great. People that sell them not so much. I was approached by a man selling your products his name is Adi, I clearly told him I didn't have time yet he said he just was going to give me a brochure, he immediately started asking all These uncomfortable questions and applying make up on my face with dirty brushes, got too close to me and started pushing me to buy the products, I advised I get paid next week and asked if he could give me his number to call him and come back he got Very mad and started being very rude and yelled at me: you made me waste my time to which I replied : I told you no from the begginnimg because I didn't want to waste your time.. he and other girl at the kiosk attacked me verbally.. he gen rudely told me to go away ... this is the WORST customer mistreatment I have received in my entire life. I hate to post this but I had to share this, please provide customer care seminars to these people.. they do not how to treat their customers . As far as your products again they are amazing but I am concerned that because of the people that sell them you will start loosing customers one by one.

Bella Terra Cosmetics skin peel, facial moisturizer and questionable sales tactics @ the north point mall in alpharetta, ga

Honestly, I thought I was a relatively intelligent person; however, like others who are posting complaints I fell prey to aggressive, questionable sales tactics. I was visiting Alpharetta and on a whim I went to the North Point Mall recently on Sunday, Dec 4th, 2016. I didn't even get all the way through the doors when I was physically pulled into a store (no, not a kiosk an actual Bella Terra store - I do not even stop at kiosks let alone purchase anything from them).

The guy looked at my face and asked me what type of makeup I used. I advised him Mac foundation and he told me he could tell because my skin was not in good shape. He assured me that he used to sell Mac cosmetics and knew they were the reason that I had "damaged skin with clogged pores". This was a surprise to since I had recently had a facial and my skin was in good condition (a little dry, but clear and not broken out, etc.).

He then grabbed my hand and started rubbing peeling gel on it which produced dry skin that he rubbed off. He insisted that I needed to buy this product and use it once a week followed by the moisturizer to get my skin cleaned up. I will admit that I was interested. BUT when he told me the price, I said it was far too expensive and I would just continue using my skin care regimen with Skinceuticals. He absolutely would not let me out of the store and changed tactics by saying "oh this is a damaged box so I'll give it to you for $60 IF you also buy the moisturizer for another $60. BTW - the same situation at the register - a lot of confusion, pushing additional products at me, told one amount would be charged and who the heck knows what happened. Stuff was being thrown into a bag some allegedly "free", but at the end of all of the chaos over $300 ends up being charged on my account. AFTER the card is charged I'm advised that if I'm not happy just bring the products back. We do not give refunds, but we will give you store credit to purchase more products.

Then I arrive back home in Pittsburgh several days later. I open the products to use them and IMAGINE MY SURPRISE - the jar of peel was only about 1/3 full and the jar of moisturizer was only 1/2 full (see the pictures attached).

OK so now I realize just how fully I was "conned", but at this point what was I going to do - I purchased the products in Atlanta, but live in Pittsburgh - no store to even go to so I can return the products. So I decide to try them and AGAIN another BIG SURPRISE - I use the skin peel gel and such a minimal amount of "dried or clogged stuff" appeared! So the guy who tells me how "damaged" my skin is so much so that I just have to buy the peel played me (quite successfully) as a fool!

SO NOW I'm irritated especially after reading so many other complaints. Is the product good, I have no idea since it isn't doing what I was assured it would do. And as far as the "free" items (some brushes and powder), ANOTHER surprise - when I compare the online prices for the products I did purchase I came to the realization that I paid such a high price for them in the store that they in fact covered the cost of the "free items".

Honestly, Bella Terra you should certainly take more ownership of the training of ALL employees and management that you allow to sell your products. I would love to be able to try them in order to determine if they are as good as I was led to believe BUT...

Bella Terra Cosmetics aggressive sales tactics and no refund policy

Today, I entered Memorial City Mall for a reservation at the Apple Store. I passed the Bella Terra counter and was handed a flyer by the salesperson, Jacob. He asked me to stop for a free sample. I told him I could not stop because I had an appointment at the Apple Store. He said it would only take a minute, so I said okay. He put a sample on my hand and proceed to encourage me to try the foundation on half my face. I told him I had to leave because of my appointment at the Apple Store, but I would stop by later. Jacob would not relent until I purchased the foundation and he gave me a free blush for $75.76. As I attempted to leave, he said he wanted to show me something else. Again, I told him I could not stay because I was now late for my appointment. Jacob tried a sample of the skincare on my arm and put another package of products together. He told me the original prices and went through another sales pitch. I told him I could not purchase the products and every time I tried to leave for my appointment. He would say wait, wait, wait! I'll give you this product for free and a discount. I spent another $357.21. I went to the Apple Store and completed my my business there. While I was waiting in the Apple Store. I realized that I felt coerce to purchase items I didn't want to buy. When I left the Apple Store, I stopped by the Bella Terra counter and told Jacob I wanted to return everything for a full refund. I told him I had buyers remorse and no longer wanted the items. I felt foolish because I let high pressure sales tactics tap into my insecurities regarding my acne and acne scars. Jacob told me he could not refund the purchases because all sales are final only exchanges are given. I was not provided this information before the beginning of the sales. I told Jacob that he should provided this information. I contacted the office today and left my name and number. No one has returned my call.

Honestly I cannot understand for the life of me WHY Bella Terra allows such tactics OR is the problem that they actually PROMOTE such tactics for profits! Over and over again I'm reading complaints, but I have not found ONE where Bella Terra has actually DONE something to remedy the situation. Maybe the best course of action is through LEGAL means - maybe all of us need to document the experience and report them to our individual States' Attorney General's offices.

Bella Terra Cosmetics harassment and bullying by sales staff at memorial city mall

Bella terra needs better customer service. The sales girl at the memorial city mall in houston is unprofessional. I was walking by and she grabbed me and insisted I buy her products and started to apply a random powder on my face with a dirty brush. I was disgusted. I asked her to stop and if they were clean brushes... To which I didn't get a reply and got more powder... And she insisted I buy the powder and she would give me a discount it would be $49. But I noticed the powders online are only like $22. Not sure where this price came from. She told me my makeup was bad and this was all I needed. Well I wasnt wearing any makeup and now half my face against my approval was covered in this powder. She had blocked me in in between the kiosk and the chair. She started to bully me and wouldn't let me leave. I kept insisting I needed to go. It was a stressful ordeal. I finally was able to run... When I asked her for a free sample and to donate to my charity event she was got surprised and stepped back. I literally ran from her. This is harassment and bullying. I have seen so many complaints about them and sadly corporate only gives a standard response but hasn't done anything to protect their brand.

Bella Terra Cosmetics sales people /company

I have been on the hunt for a natural looking foundation for the longest time. Last night my Fiancée and I were at the mall just doing some shopping when I came across the kiosk of Bella Terra. I see the sales people all the time trying to get people to try their product so I decided to give it a try. The sales lady did a makeover on half of my face, and I loved everything she tried on me, it looked so amazing and natural. I used to work at Sephora, and I have never come across anything so beautiful before. I even told the lady that I was more than willing to pay the price of the makeup. I knew it was going to be expensive so when she was done with the makeover, I had asked her how much everything she tried on me was. She told me that she was going to give me a "good" deal, because I was buying a lot and she told me the price, which was expensive but I was okay with that. Well, when it came time to pay she swiped my card and it declined, so she tried again and it still declined. I then checked my bank account to make sure that there was nothing going on, and my bank account was fine. She then, tries entering different amounts to try and see if they will go through. This is where I was starting to get upset, because what if those amounts that she was charging had gone through?. I still however really wanted the makeup, and I was aware that there was a ATM machine upstairs. Before, I could tell the sales lady that I was going to go get cash out. She then told me that there was an ATM machine upstairs and that she could go with my Fiancée and I to get money out!. I told her no that my Fiancée and I would just go get the money out by ourselves and be back to purchase the makeup. She then kept insisting that she would come with us! I could understand if I was going to take the makeup with me to get the money out, but when my card was declining, I had set all the makeup that I was purchasing back on the counter. After, she kept insisting that she go with us to get the money, this was the end for me. I mean how much more unprofessional could you get, it just blew my mind how she asked customers if she could go with us to get the money from the ATM! I understand they really want to make a sale and that is fine, but when you are asking customers to go with them to get money?! that is where the line should be drawn. It upset me so much, I felt like this was such a scam. This to me is such an unfortunate event because I had really loved all the makeup and was more than willing to pay the price for it. However, after this incident I will never be buying anything from this company, and I will be letting everyone I know not to ever buy anything from the Bella Terra kiosks in the mall.

Bella Terra Cosmetics foundation powder

I purchased this product by a very aggressive sales rep at their kiosk in the Scottsdale Fashion Mall on [protected]. The next day I noticed my face broke-out. I tried to return the product, which they will not refund my money, they will only exchange. I asked why would I want another product from a line that does not agree with my skin. I was told again they will not refund my money. I asked to speak to the manager, I was informed I was speaking with manager. They would not make an exception. I asked to speak with the owner and was informed he was traveling on business and would not be interested in taking a call. I was very disappointed and obvious they were only interested in the money they made from my sale, not if I was happy as a customer. I stated my disappointment and the other representative stated: "it is what it is". Overall customer service is very, very poor customer care or compassion. I now have a product I will not be able to use since it does not agree with my skin.

Bella Terra Cosmetics scam company

There are no prices posted and you don't know what you are paying until they print out the receipt. Notice that the receipt is itemized with what you have purchased but not the price for each item. Supposedly there is a No Refund sign which is not visible and they never mention that to the customer ahead of time or even after you purchase the products. I really can't believe this company hasn't been arrested yet and the booth closed down. They talk bad about other good named cosmetics then pretend they are giving you a great deal with their cosmetics and ask you not to tell anyone that they gave you a good deal. I purchased a few products and realized that they had charged me too much, went back the next day without opening anything to return it and they gave me the run around. The manager of the store Kiosk supposedly didnt have the authority to help remedy the situation. They give you another number to call for another Manager and he doesn't do a darn thing either.ck today to return. This is not acceptable business practice. I will certainly tell my friends, neighbors, co-workers not to ever purchase anything from Belle Terra / Bella Pierre / Dermalactives. They go under 3 different names (very strange).

Do not purchase anything from this business. They pressure you to buy the product after their presentation, even though they tell you "no pressure". I was backing away from the kiosk when the seller said that I was making a huge mistake. He kept lowering the price for me, telling me that this perk was between us and no one else. Following that he said he wanted to see my reviews on social media, advertising how "great" these products are. Seeing former posts, it seems like this is a normal practice they use to lure in buyers. Way too overpriced for their products, and I didn't even say yes to anything and he was already packing up everything for me. Do NOT be afraid to say no to them, even if they guilt trip you. He tried to get up close and personal with me, after learning I was becoming a nursing student, he said he was a nurse too until I asked him basic questions about the field. Please don't be reeled in by these people.

Bella Terra Cosmetics curiosity

I don't have a complaint yet but I am curious after reading these complaints of no refund and such. I stopped at the kiosk in the woodlands mall while waiting on my kids. After sitting in the chair I told the lady that I use Mac but I'm looking for something to help the pores. She brings out a moisturizer for $129, mineral foundation for $69, and a couple of other pricey things. I liked the moisturizer and powder but really didn't want to spend that much so I told her I did not have enough money on my credit card for that. She gave me a lower price and I told her I still didn't have that much. The total price, which would have been $199.98 she discounted to $89.99. I told her I still didn't have that much on my credit card so she let me put $20 down to put it on layaway. I thought it was strange she discounted so much AND the layaway is good for 10 months. I looked on their website and the prices she quoted me match their prices but I've never heard of a 10 month layaway, and I was never told about the no return policy I'm hearing about. Has anyone else done the layaway plan? I'm nervous after reading so many scam complaints on these people.

(Which doesnt break me out) I stop by Sephora afterwards and bought some Urban Decay products. Im now in a hurry to get home. A Bella Terra sales rep. Stops me and I like makeup so i stopped. He then sets me down in his chair and starts taking off my makeup! NNO! Without asking me. Then starts bashing Mac. And what pissed me off the most he says I look fake! He finally harassed me into 95 dollars of makeup that bbreaks me out.

I was stopped at the Bella Terra Mineral Cosmetics kiosk by an extremely pushy salesman. He said his name was Asaf. I sat and listened to his presentation and let him apply makeup to the side of my face. From what I could tell the products were ok. Though he used dirty brushes to apply the products with. He pushed me and pushed me to make a purchase. I told...

Bella Terra Cosmetics forceful practices, fraud

They got me too! I was walking by and the guy grabbed my arm then rubbing on my hands. He was slim, dark hair with a foreign accent. Asking fast questions like are you from here, are you married ect...He truly had the "gift of gab" . Then he put foundation on one half of my face without asking, Before i knew it i bought foundation for $69. it is $59 on their web site. When i started to change my mind and walk away the guy grabbed my arm saying i can get a free brush worth $60 which is $50 on their web site. He then showed me the receipt of the previous customer an said that she paid the $60 for the brush but ill get it Free if i buy the foundation. (I found the brush and foundation online for $15-$40 by the way)
I researched bella terra when i got home and found hundreds of similar stories. I couldn't believe it! Some people are saying they got ripped off and was charged hundreds of dollars on their credit cards. I checked my account and luckily my money is fine. Looking back i realize how much he was trying to offer me more "deals" before actually swiping my card. He also said i have lifetime warranty on the brush and i could bring it back, but i read complaints that it wasn't true.
Anyway, i actually like the products...BUT...next time ill use the website or amazon.com. Bella Terra should do something about these kiosk, i can imagine the amount of vulnerable people getting ripped off.

Bella Terra Cosmetics unethical sales

Totally pushy heavily accented man at the Bella kiosk approached me and my husband at the mall. Handed me a eye shadow and said it was free, "What color would you like?" He said he would show me the product and motioned for me to sit down in the chair. Before I knew it he as taking off my makeup! My husband was standing right there but he doesn't know this is not how this is done. He's thinking how nice that the guy is giving me a free gift. He starts asking me "Can you see the difference?" I said "yes, I see the side you cleaned looks pretty good." He's confused as I guess I did not give the correct answer. He applies four different products and continues to tell me how great they are while bashing what I currently use. He told me these products are all for sensitive skin and the stuff i use will make me break out, and he is wrong. When I asked the price he said $60.00, he didn't say it was just for one of the products until he was done and ready to get paid. He tried selling me several different groups and sizes of products for many different prices to which I said It was out of my price range but would come back after I checked the sephora store to verify the ingredients of the bare minerals products I currently use. He could not tell me the names of these terrible ingredients in the bare minerals products i use and kept telling me to look it up online I'm sure so I would not leave. He was defiant when I wanted to come back after checking another store and kept saying "He did me a favor!" He also showed me several receipts where he was able to sell others his overpriced product, like to the tune of $1500. He also told me I was rich and could afford it. I will not be back to the Bella counter ever and will not go back to that mall. The cherry on the sundae...my eyes are burning like crazy from his "great" products. Be careful and walk away if you encounter aggressive people.

I left sehpora wit a new foundation 2 brushes and nail polish and this charming man at da mall with an accent stops me and asked me what i bought and i told him and he says he wants to show me an all natural make up and I tell him I had to go cuz my fam wanted to leave already so he says to give him a few mins to show me how the make up works and stuff and he said if at da end I thought it was a waste of time he would give me 2 free eyeshadows so I decided to give him a chance he started telling me how d make up at sephora was xpensive & we just payed for da name n how bad it's for da skin (but he did tell me his make up was expensive too so i gues its my fault)and said to look in da mirror and said my skin looked oily and unnatural and he said if he could put the tBella Terra makeup on and said its all natural an u know and what ur putting on ur skin all safe and blah blah blah so he puts it on me well half my face and u know wat their make up did look better than da one I had on that I purchased at sephora so in told him I liked it he proceeded to do my whole face with Bella Terra and it looked so natural and it added a beautiful glow to my skin and then he showed me all the things the shadows can b used so I was sold! So the guy took me to his "office" and showed me the prices on his laptop said he was going to give me a discount cuz he liked me so I bought the foundation concealer blush and 3 brushes all for $126 he was very nice and polite a little flirty but I didn't buy it cuz heflirted! I liked the product an I still do but It's expensive! That's y I feel ripped off I'm goin to check on ebay I heard its cheaper he said if I found it online for just one penny less he would match it!

I went there yesterday and got stopped by a guy named RAVID. I felt very harassed into buying the foundation powder stuff. He knew I didn't want it but he proceed to keep telling me he was going to give me these other products because he liked me. He told me the foundation stuff was 60 dollars so I agreed to buy it. He took my card and when I got the recite, the total was $249.10. I was furious! I told him that it was only supposed to be 60 and I want to return this stuff. And his reply was "did you not look when you signed?" Which I agree I probably should have but he shouldn't have forced his products on me and told me he was "giving" them to me when he actually charged me. I want my money back and I will not let this go. I am going to call everyone I possibly can about this and something will be done. After I got my recite and told him I wanted to return the products and he said what he said, he was smiling and gave me two hugs before I walked away. I don't appreciate this at all and something is going to be done about it.

Hi Jenny -

We are very sorry you had this experience and we acknowledge the unsavory sales tactics put forth by some of our kiosk operators and do not condone this type of treatment. We take complaints from our customers very seriously and work feverishly to resolve any issue in a timely manner, including the poor treatment of customers from our kiosk operators. Unfortunately the kiosk operators act independently of Bella Terra Cosmetics, Inc. and so our recourse is limited.

We encourage customers of Bella Terra Mineral Cosmetics to contact the corporate office should they have any issue including but not limited to returns, complaints or product inquiries. We can be reached toll free at [protected] or by email at customerservice@bellaterracosmetics.com.
