BlackPeopleMeet.com Over charge

I just decided this morning to pay the 18.99 subscription and my bank account was changed $27.03. I used a back account I pay my car not from and keep a extra 20 dollars for fun money. Because they took so much I don't have enough to cover my car note, now I have to make arrangements. Haven't even had time to get to learn about this app, and this!

Desired outcome: Refund and cancel

BlackPeopleMeet.com online dating service

The site is using my profile to contact other menbers by "liking" their photos and "flirting" with them. They also delete my profile narratives periodically when I update my profile. I receive an email stating i violated their terms and policies even though i have not. I notice when they did that today i checked my sent folder and several members had been contacted on several different days that I never contacted.

BlackPeopleMeet.com dating site

This site is a fraud. I was reading about someone and his picture changed in front of my eyes. The description of the person stayed the same, but the picture changed. I concluded that that means that the site manager is creating the profiles.

Another situation where the long love letter was verbatum on more than one profile.
I concluded again that the site manager is creating profiles and responding to keep you interested especially when your account is about to end.

I approached Black People Meet and verified these and more examples of misleading and fooling people like me. I requested my money back due to their lying and manipululating. I requested my money back and/or an acknowledgement of wrong doing. My account was immediately shut down even through the time had not even expired. I have not received justice or my money back.

Don't waste your time or money it is a fraud!

BlackPeopleMeet.com scammers

These men are losers, emotional manipulators looking to get favors from unassuming women. I was emotionally manipulated by two men who were supposed to be professionals who used me for free legal advise. Once they got what they wanted they stopped contacting me. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Dr. Dempsey Gordon and D.J. Williams appear legit but they are con men.

BlackPeopleMeet.com Spend your time elsewhere

Please have some common sense and never use BlackPeopleMeet. The majority of guys are real maniacs. Just the fact you are a girl makes you a target for guys who immediately want to tell you how cool they are. You will get tons of stupid messages every day. You wont find a normal guy here, don't even try. Also these boys are all fake. I thought it was very suspicious that they all are super rich businessmen, with cars and houses. They will also send you pictures of them naked! I contacted customer service and explained the situation, but they did nothing to help me. I didn't want to leave, but I had no other choice, so I deleted my account. Just avoid!

BlackPeopleMeet.com don't recommend this dating site.

Horrible site! Stay away from it! The majority of men is very strange. They only want to tell you how religious they are, they always talk about sex and other dirty things. They'll tell you how many ex-wives and children they have, ask for additional pictures, send you pictures of other women that they are chatting with, immediately want to make plans for future with you. They always offer you to go on a real date. Very bad behavior. I want to warn all the ladies about it, you will never wind a real gentleman there. When these guys don't get what they wanted, they become very rude and start spreading lies about you on the site. But support team does nothing at all, when woman complains, they just ignore it. Don't recommend this dating site.

I can definitely agree. i am about to delete my profile as soon as i am done reading the numerous complaints. This company is a fraud and a fake. The management sends out fake profiles and flirts. When the time comes for you renew your membership--they will flood you with fake profiles making you think that there are legitimate and interested parties. Once you renew, suddenly the flirts and profile views stop. I even got a photo of the deceased Trayvonne Martin. I have received fake profiles all the long--while in this member (###).
Their sister sites are frauds too; BBP meet and Our time dating.
The need a serious investigation.
They need a class action suit so that we can retrieve all of our subscription fees.

I have one of the worst customer service experiences ever. I was talked over by a representative and supervisor who just read and repeated a policy script like a robot. The supervisor was more rude than the rep and hung up on me. The misleading prices for services and a refusal to refund money makes this site one of the most raggedy online businesses I've ever encountered.

I agree, the Site is made up of mostly fake profiles. Most of the profile pictures seem old and faded. The new profile pictures are few in number and seem to be added only to complete the fraud. There is usually just a picture and very little else on the profile. Most of the women say just about the same thing. "I'm a hopeless romantic", " I am hard working, I am good, I go to church, walks in the park, go out to eat, looking for an honest good man who will not play games or cheat, a man with good hygiene"...blah blah blah... You get your 10 new matches, and flirt after flirt. The site automatically sends out flirts to women telling the women you sent the flirt,
It has to be a Site administrator(or someone with the proper privileges). You get messages from women who say things like:" I think you have a neat profile. Have a good rest of the week. I moved back home after living in New York. I don't like clubs. Maybe, we can meet sometime or go out to eat." You answer the message and never get a response, Or the response goes something like this: " Gee I wish you the best in your search. I really like your profile. Have a great rest of your day..I love that picture of you ..."
The site seems dead. Black people use the English language in a certain way. Black people talk about certain things. There are certain types of Black women with certain styles and outlooks and ways of communicating. The profiles don't reflect that rich diversity of people you find among black people, There appear to be one or two women who will engage in phone calls. One woman told me she always carries a gun and that she once put a gun to the head of her "abusive" ex-husband and pulled the trigger before she knew what happened, The gun misfired. Another woman a religious fanatic talked to me only about her dead boy friend. Then they both vanished, thank God! The Site is a fake, I'm thinking about running this pass the States Attorney.

Just saw your response from a year ago. But i experienced the same... My issue is that i get fake responses overall. And i think that it is from management. I must say, the company has no control of their subscribers and their relationship status. . But they do have control over the fraudulent views and responses that they [the company knows as BPM]initiate in an effort to generate business and subscription renewal. I think that they just hit a button that will generate fake flirt and profile views to all of their subscribers whose subscription is ending. I got photos of dogs, cats, birds, and unfortunately Treyvonne Martin.

I am on this complaint board not to post a complaint against BPM for sending out fake responses--overall. I was dumb enough to try one more time to see what happens. So i fell into their trap again for a month. The reduced rate was tempting.

I went on black people meet.com and I agree there are a bunch of guys that are about games on there. I met one guy had a short relationship because he was "legally separated" we broke up I saw him back on the site a couple of days later showing his status as divorced. I met another guy who only wanted to talk through text. he asked for my phone number I gave it to him following that he texted me back texting out my whole name which was kind of spooky because I hadn't revealed my full name to him. He would never give his number however each time he sent a text message a number would appear, so I called the number and a message would said the number had been disconnected yet I was still recieving multiple text messages from the number. I've also met people that wanted pictures even though I already had photos posted they wanted pictures sent to their phone, then they'd say Im going to call you right back after recieving the pictures and you never hear from them again. Just like with anything there are risk involved . One thing this site has showed me is there are a lot of lustful men I know that's a little bias because I don't know about the women. But a person is willing to be dishonest to get what they think they want there is nothing good in it. The man I got involved with is a classic example. So all I can advise is use wisdom in all things if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I definitely agree. these men are either set-up's by Black People Meet.com, or just plain liars. Within a month, i got messages from 256 men. All this was is a just game. you return emails, and this game just goes back and forth. Their responses is to contact them, but when you send your contact information; it just goes un-read... You get a return or automatic message to contact. An example is one guy (or the owner of the site) sent me a message stating " Are you just going to keep looking at my pictures, or are you going to write me". I wrote this same so-called person four times. When i responded with an email stating this, i get a phone number to call. Okay, I call the phone number; just as I thought, nothing. Never an answer, no way of recording, and no call back. This is a scam.
I have responded to so many messages that was sent to me and nothing. I am on the East coast, it's like 2:56 a.m., (i am usually sleep. i just felt compelled to write this. Perhaps there is someone about there on the way t being scammed. These men are not real. I have been on this site off and on since 2009, I have yet to meet someone.

BlackPeopleMeet.com My Profile Was Removed (Profile was in Full Conformance with their terms and rules)!

Suddenly, I get an email from BPM letting me know that my profile greeting 'was not approved'
My profile has been online since I became a member on March 24th.
My profile was decent and conforming in everyway to all their rules.

Spent a lot of time emailing...then calling them on the phone.
Here is the last email I sent them:
Dear Sir,
I have spent a lot of time over the phone and online (emailing you) but you are unable to restore my profile (NJ1A)
Your customer service person who called me back(March 26th 5:12PM from [protected]) at my cell told me that your company got no record that my profile has been erased.
When I asked to have my profile restored (was created on the 24th--it's a few days account); I was advised to call1800 827 6364...I spent a lot of time waiting and it turned out to be an AOL.com number!
Please cancell my account and refund my credit card $22.97 ($17.98+$4.99).
Even your charges are not correct. On the website you offered a one month memebership for $13.98 yet you charged my account for $17.00).
Thank you

When Black people use the N word it generally not racist and, in most cases, the "er" is replaced with an "a"; however, when a White person uses the word, it is usually used offensively and with negative condemnations. Some of the statements alone show that the word would be used offensively.

As far as BPM is an all-Black dating site is not true. It is designed to attract "anyone" interested in dating a person of color. Also, when using other dating platforms, I may specify that "I am only interested in Black profiles,” but I am bombarded with White profiles and truly little profiles of people of color.

There are other specific dating platforms: Asian Dating, Christian Dating, Farmers Dating, etc. And guess what there is a "WhitePeopleMeet.com."

A person that thinks BPM is racist is probably a person who is racist and does not believe in "interracial" dating; therefore, should relish the existence BPM.

This is the 21st century and although there are those who would love to go back in time to the way things were in the 17th and 18th century, which is not going to happen. There is a new generation out there that do not hold on to your ideas of racism and they are breaking the ground for a better world. There will always be racism. A racist will always find something to be racist about.

To the "Good ole boys and girls" I suggest you "hold on tight because you are going on the ride of your life."

To Everyone,

Alright, alright alright! We get that everyone here is frustrated about this "race" issue, But when will we have enough of this bullcrap? If we were to all get what we want, then would this satisfy everyone then? No disrespect, But if we have some personal issues with this, then we are the ones, individually, with that problem, and shouldn't have to blame someone else because individuals can't cope with the times of NOW! This is no dream, it is a social concern!

This whole 'white entitlement' crap is getting old. Stop stereotyping. I am white and FAR from entitled. Now lets talk about this site. Yes, it is true that we as Americans are free to express ourselves in different ways but there HAS to be a line. You know darn well if I started whitepeoplemeet.com the NAACP and Al Sharpton would be all over it, like stink on poop. Where is our NAAWP? Where's OUR Al? Here's what it boils down to-whites don't owe blacks anything and it's time to defend ourselves. We do not need to feel guilty anymore.
There is clearly a lack of responsibility and respect among the black population and if ANYONE'S entitled it's black people.

Your statement "we should not feel guilty anymore" is an indication of the type of individual you are. If one commits murder, they should forever feel guilty about taking a life. White people should feel forever guilty. for persecution of the Blacks people long before they were considered American.

White America felt responsible, if not guilty for the monstrosities visited upon the Indian Nation and tried to compensate their families by given approximately $1.3 billion in reparation to the families of their ancestor who actually experience the crimes which resulted in the loss of their homes, lands, and lives.

The freed Black slaves were promised by the American government that each slave would be given 40 acres and a mule as reparation for the atrocities they endured in slavery. This has never been done. The American Black families of the those who were enslaved are still fighting to get the Government to fulfill its promise as was done for the Native American.

Yes, White America, should forever bare the quilt and shame of their ancestors and be responsible for fulfilling the promises that were made.

Let us look at your statement "white entitlement crap is getting old."

White America has always been entitled/privileged with the right to vote, excellent education, better housing, fair jobs, etc. Yes, White America should feel a sense of guilt and responsibility to make right which is wrong.

When we say entitled/privileged the subject of one's financial status is not the issue. Poor White people still have the entitlements/privileges mentioned above for which is still denied Black people and which Black people are still fighting for. Recently, some of the gains that were made through Black people’s blood. sweat, and tears are systemically and covertly being rescinded.

Yes, an argument can be made that Black people are doing better today than yesterday; however, they still lack the entitlements/privileges Whites are born with. This privilege is extended to Whites throughout the globe.

Yes, you should feel guilty and ashamed that your so-called "Black friend" is still lacking and fighting for the entitlements/privileges you are inherently given and take for granted.

When did you Haras Nosilla have to fight for any entitlements/privileges? "Having white privilege and recognizing it is not racist. But white privilege exists because of historic, enduring racism and biases."

Do White people mistakenly call themselves White. Hmm!

1) Renowned "White" scientists and geneticists (Did I mentioned they were White) have determined that

the first "Human" was Black.

2) White archeologist has determined that the oldest homo sapiens skull was found in Ethiopia, Africa.

3) According to the "One Drop Rule", established in the USA, anyone with a single drop of Black

ancestral blood is considered to be Black.

You, Haras Nosilla being a smart person should surmised that since knowledgeable experts, who are White, made these determinations they must be factual/true.

According to the One Drop Rule and the findings of these scientists, geneticists. and archeologists every White person is genetically Black. Therefore, it is the make-up of your blood not the color of your skin that has determined that you Haras Nosilla are Black.

Wow! What a shocking revelation. I would guess that this shocking fact supports your observation that Black people, such as yourself, are entitled.

Exactly Lobo, there are plenty of White Only everything. These folks are just complaining because for the first time in their entitled lives they are experiencing the sting of what it feels like to be left out. Awww.

you guys obviously don't understand the word minority... Minorities have their own places, their own lingo, their own sites etc because we are the minority. Duh. If we were part of mainstream society, there would be no need for separation and identification with others who think, act, feel like us. White people want everything. First you don't want to share your public bathrooms, water fountains, and schools with us. So we found a way to separate from you and your stank ### still not happy.

I signed up for the service and was assured that I could cancel the subscription at any time. I canceled the subscription at the beginning of the month and was still charged for the month. The site is not a good place to search as it sends matches out of the criteria range set. I will definitely be warning people about this site.

BlackPeopleMeet.com Promptness In Correcting An Error

This comes as a corrected complaint which was made directly to BPM. In error a charge was made to my account in the amount of $69.93 for a 6 months subscription instead of the single monthly charge of about $20.00. A supervisor immediately corrected the error which should be posted back into my account within 48 hours. It is human to err; so does technology. It is good to have a place to meet people, establish new friendships, and chat. Hats off to Black People Meet!
