Thanksgiving November 28, 2019. I purchased a 4 person turkey dinner. We would always get the turkey dinner when we come in to eat. We all liked it. So we all had fixed our plates, my husband loves the cranberry relish so he had a container and took a bite he said something is wrong with these cranberries, they were fermenting in the container they were purchased in. They were actually Foaming and bubbling. So we pushed them to the side and didn't eat them. After dinner I called to tell the manager that she should maybe take the cranberry relish and check it out because the 2 containers I purchased was fermenting and I didn't want anyone to get sick from it. She actually laughed and hung up the phone like it was a joke. We have photos of the containers of fermenting cranberries. An hour later I started feeling bad I had an upset stomach and I threw up my dinner my husband started feeling bad he got sick as well, And my 81 year old father that is in good health has never thrown up that I know of called me and said he was getting sick throwing up as well at that point I knew we all had food poison from the turkey dinner. After the manager laughed and hung up on me for the cranberries I was not calling them back at that restaurant so I called corporate left a message for someone to call me back that we had gotten sick and wanted to tell them about the rude manager that laughed that I was trying to make sure no one gets poisoned from the fermented cranberry relish they were serving. That was Monday morning it's now Friday evening a week later still no phone call. To make things worse my father had ran into couple friends the next day they had Said they had went to the same bob evans on thanksgiving and when they got home had started throwing up their food as well. God only knows how many people got sick from that food that day. And you bob Evans could not even bother to call me back to make sure we were ok. what kind of business is this that does not care about their customers especially after I had left a message that my whole family was violently ill from our thanksgiving dinner I purchased from your bob Evans in Delaware. also I want you to know that between my husband and myself we have over 50 plus years In the hospitality business my husband is a retired chef.
I also want you to know that when I arrived to pick up my order it was sitting on the counter with other customers orders there was no heat lamp.
It is now Dec 13th and still no reply back from bob Evans.
