Unethical behavior in employment practices at 6251 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33067
On 9.23.21, my 16 year old daughter called your store in Coral Springs, FL She was an employee. She spoke to Lisa, store mgr, who told her she was terminated over a week ago because a store sup. Crystal spoke to another student saying my daughter told that student she was quitting to go back to school. A lie! Hearsay! I should call EEOC!
Desired outcome: Told she could reapply. Why should my traumatized daughter have to go through all of that.

On july 3 at 4 pm I went in to burlungton on 4400 california ave I was shopping and one of the employes can up to me and was like your not allowed in the store. I was like what. She tried to say that I was with some guy the other day trying to keep them occupied so he can run out fire exit. But I havrnt been in the store over 2 mnth. I told her my husband was in the car cause he couldnt walk. Then she was rude about it and said they were gonna have to watch me. I told her follow me I dont care. But I was so embarrased I just left
At this same store I was also asked to leave saying they had me on video stealing, I have never stolen anything in my life and most of my family is in law enforcement. I was embarrassed and furious especially when they wouldn't shoe me proof knowing it wouldn't have been me...

Good afternoon on June 6 2021 an employee Patricia Moores at 710 Horatio Street in Utica NY clocked in before 830am and received any breaks until 230pm ..that's almost 7 hours without even a 15min break, this happens quite often in that location and keep in mind ms. Moores just recently returned to work after having major surgery..its understandable that stores get busy and customers are a priority but not at the employees health ..maybe management need to be trained properly on not violating NY state labor laws. Also the labor board will be notified so maybe the problem can be resolved..thank you and have a nice day
customer service/service dogs
This morning I was at the h street mall location/burlington under the store #00759. As I was looking for things I needed to buy a guy asks to use a restroom along with a big dog. This dog entered the store barking and a bit on the active side. As I am about to go pick my last item, I end up in the same location as this man with the same dog. I'm looking for a hair trimmer for my son and the dog starts barking at me as I am not taking him into consideration minding my own business. The man does not bother to hold his dog back, nor remove the dog from the store. The man is standing there texting on his cell phone as his dog keeps barking at me. The man gets closer to me as im trying to pick the correct hair trimmer and I notice the dog extremely close to me so I ask the man if his dog is a service dog? He answers "no." I ask the man if the dog bites? He answers "yes, sometimes." I ask him to please get his dog out of the store because he is not a service dog and does not have a nozzle. The man ignores me so I go to the register and ask for a manager. I inform the cashier that there is a dog who is barking at me and is not a service dog in the store who should not be in the store or at least should be wearing a nozzle. They were already focusing their attention on the situation because they heard the dog barking however, i'm very unhappy with the situation because as I was paying I overheard the cashier/sales associate say that "sometimes dogs react to peoples vibes." I had higher standards for one of my favorite stores. It has now passed down to being one of the most horrible stores to shop at. I do clarify that I love dogs and I don't usually feel afraid, i've had from chihuahuas to pit bulls and I know when a dog can become a threat. I have a receipt for 10:03 am, cashier name is carolina and my total was $42.38. You can feel free to check out the surveillance video to verify an I hope next time staff will have the character to follow protocol for the safety of others.
Extremely rude employee!!!
Let this serve as a complaint base on the terrible experience I had with the cashier name "Romalda" at store 00586 on April 07, 2021.
I purchased some items at another location and stopped at this particular location to exchange or return depending on what l find after looking around. I walked into the store with my items in one of the reusable bags l also bought from another location for $1. After looking around l found some things l wanted to exchange so l proceed to the check-out where l encountered "Romalda". No greeting, no eye contact from "Romalda" when l walked to her register. Handed her my receipt and communicated to her l had some items I wanted to exchange...no response. She rang up my items and finally looked directly at me and asked "Is that it?" l replied "Yes" she said "What about the bag?" pointing to the reusable bag l came into the store with. I responded "That's mine, l brought this bag in with me" "Romalda" had the audacity to roll her eyes and say "Oh sure, if you say so" This rude, presumptuous fool of an individual was insinuating that l was trying to steal a $1 bag and l was highly annoyed, screwed it l was pissed! This person had publicly insulted me in front of everyone in close proximity by calling me a thief. Is this the way you train your employees to treat customers Burlingtion?
On my way out l ask to speak to the manager and l conveyed my negative experience with "Romalda" the cashier. Jordyn K. the Manager was appalled and apologetic, she said she would speak to "Romalda" about her behavior. "Romalda" needs to be reprimanded, her customer service skills needs drastic improvement and Burlington should consider additional training because her attitude is bad for business!

Kissimmee, while on vacation. We stopped in off E. vine St. That was a Big waste of time we were greeted by a bunch of managers just talking and gossiping near the purse section. Staff on check out had three staff members at one register. Told my wife "wow we would have spent like ($) amount at a full retail price stores". The little teenaged cashier that was hovering about next to the ain cashier. Really three people to check you out. Was holding a coat hanger Put it against her head and did the "crazy" hand gesture with it until the other two started laughing I asked her "if she was ok and is there a problem" she rolled her eyes and walked away

At approximately 5:30 pm Jan 29 2021 Darren Perry walked in the store in Garden Grove CA with items for return he checked in with front employee and showed him the items and the receipt and said ok. Darren proceeded to grab a few things that were going to be exchanged As he walked away and grabbed a jacket when he turned around his cart was stolen Ana Morales lied to us about review the video surveillance that she no see what happened to his stuff so he calling police this horrible customer service
Desired outcome: To return the 500 dollars of stolen merchandise.
Discrimination about sexual orientation
My name is Dana Leeza Marquez,
I am currently the receiving supervisor at Burlington in Pittsburg, California. The reason for this complaint is in regards one of my employees. So I feel very upset, because not only did the store manager Peggy and assistant store manager jayfer pick on her once, it was multiple time that I've witnessed. Today I had enough, because I'm not that kind of person to do that to any other person!
The employee that is being discriminated against is Tanya Manibusan, seasonal receiving associate as the same location listed above. In my point of view, she works as hard as everyone else, she does the best she can just like everyone else, and her attendance is flawless.
Though, I've listed all the good things above. Peggy and Jayfer do not agree, and not I'm assuming it's because of her sexual orientation. From what I know, she is into woman. Tanya does no harm to anyone else nor does she Harass anyone else. She is just like every other employee, working her way up, deserving more hours just like the other employees who already get a good amount of hours.
Then again, when I was approached by Jayfer — starting off with the words of: What Peggy wanted me to speak to you about is, "Be careful giving Tanya 40 hours a week, because she's only suppose to be making atleast 30 or under." I was in such disbelief hearing that crab! I said, " what about the other employees who are supposed to be making 30 and under?! Freddie made over 40 hours last week. Lupe, Eufemia, Virginia make 40 hours in a week. Stephanie. What about Maria&Eleanor?! Why is Tanya the only one being complained about. She works as hard as everyone else." Jayfer said, "She's not fast enough. She's not productive enough." I said, "Well, I'm the one working with them closely everyday and from what I see and know .. she deserves hours just like everyone else. I don't like how that favoritism thing in a company."

The management is horrible and unprofessional there because they intentionally cut my hours for no reason even though im a good employee and need to make money but they didn't listen to me.

On September 2, 2020 I purchase $153.00 of merchandise from your company and I was racially profiled at your store. Burlington purposely causing sensors to go off to search unsuspecting black people and than search their bags. Your practices or illegal and will be turned over to the proper authorities and news stations. Unreasonable searches and Seizures are illegal.
How about don't steal and stop that poor me I'm black and Opressed mentality. We are from West Africa by birth. Not one time we are discrimination by color usually by just crappy people who are miserable at their jobs.

Do to the pandemic I was out of work and then I get a text that our trucks was back in on June 22, 2020, after that I didn't receive no notice to when I need to start back or what time so I waiting then I text back to see and now I am getting told I need to reapply and I am trying to figure out I need to reapply and I am still on the roaster. On 3/16/2020, around 2:35pm I richmond appiah came into the store with a friend pedro machado walked into the store (2952 third avenue, bronx ny, 10455), upon approaching the first floor, security aggressively rushed me and put his hands out to grab me which he did put his hands on me but I slapped it off wondering why he was coming off on me like that. From his mouth he told me I was not allowed in store and he was going to keep me there because I was a theft. At this point pedro and I are standing there lost and embarrassed extremely heart broken because we are regular customers. As the security who's attempting to find me on his phone saying "you are the black man who's stealing the jackets"another security officer who knows me in the store comes to handle the verbal altercation between pedro and and the officer. As i'm explaining what's going on the other officer is still claiming i'm him. I went to the store supervisor and told him about it. He said he spoke to him and how the security conducted his job was inappropriate and unacceptable. I as a person nor my friend or any of my friends will ever shop at any burlingtion coat factory again due to the huge embarrassment it caused me and my friend today. I will like to file a discrimination & harassment claim on the security officer who touched and wrongfully accused me. Btw I also made a purchase for a pair of black jeans for work, the reason I came to the store. The officer who I had this incident with name is aboubocar fadiga. The supervisor I spoke to name is anthony cabral.

I work in shipping and receiving at the Appleton, Wisconsin location and the manager there is horrible. All I have heard is her bad mouthing other employees and that's when she isnt yelling at everyone for no reason. She expects people just to know what to do without showing them and constantly changes how she wants things done so you never know how to do them correctly. She yells at you for stretching or going to the bathroom because "if you arent going to work, then go home." I enjoy the job, but she is making it very difficult to want to stick around.

Hello, my name is Lynn Lent. I work at the Dewitt store (#1060). I am part time (permanent) and to my knowledge I'm suppose to get no less then 12 hours a week. This week I'm only getting 9 hours. My hours are getting cut back bad with a new supervisor. With the new supervisor and change i am at the point of wanting to transfer to a different store.
customer service
After being gifted an outfit for my daughter that was a size too small, I went to the store to exchange it. I let the attendant know I did not have the receipt and she told me to get the new item and get in line. The line was extreme, waited 20 minutes to get to the register. I was told they needed the receipt or debit card that was used. Of course, I had neither and left the store empty handed, with an outfit that is of no use and very upset at the customer service.
The Burlington store on Buford Hwy, Norcross GA is the worst in customer service. I work in an area close to that store and once a week visit on my lunch hour. The check out lines are the worst. They never have enough open registers to accommodate the shoppers. There were at
least 25 people in line with 2 registers open. There was another cashier behind the counter
placing empty clothes hangers up. One customer in the line was highly irritated over the line and began to complain. It seemed as if they got slower after that. I placed my items on the counter

Such a simple issue, return the item that I am not happy about it, I have receipt, tag and it's been only 11 days passed since I bought this pants.
And the another cashier come up and in front of me said something to another Male cashier to his ear, that's such unprofessional and make me uncomfortable, yes I may be wasnt look good come from work after 12 hours shift.
They said this item cannt be returned because your tag it's not attached.
I was honest I told that not happy and I woud love get money back and they refused me even with a store credit.
Learned the customer service from Costco or T -Mobile if you want to exist in this competitive market.
