Buzzell was good, they responded well. I got a problem and I left a message for Bob Buzzell to call me back. I hope he gets back to me soon.

These guys charged me $1750 to put in a gas water heater in my garage. I got the heater from *** and they had to move two water and one gas line because the old one was in the attic. They sent a roofer to put in the vent through the roof, but they said they would come on Friday between 8 and 9, which was 10 days after they gave me the estimate. But then they called me at 9:30 on Friday and said they couldn't do it because it was raining and there was electricity. I told them it was a gas water heater, but they didn't care. I asked for a discount because I had taken off work, but they said no. They finally came on Monday and put in the heater, but the roofer messed up the old vent and left me with a leaking roof. They didn't even tell me about it. They also left old piping and tools in my attic and didn't clean up after themselves. These guys are pretty sorry. Don't use them. They'll put you on the back burner, won't show up when they say they will, leave you with a leaking roof, and won't clean up after themselves.

They said my thermostat needed to be replaced but it didn't fix the problem. The next day, my unit stopped working altogether. When I called Buzzell, they said they were too busy to help me. I had to call another company who fixed it right away. I paid Buzzell $375, thinking it covered the $120 service fee from the first day, but it didn't. After a month of not hearing from them, I got a call asking for the outstanding balance. I explained the situation and was told they would review it. But weeks later, I got another call asking for the money. I was surprised to get an email apologizing for the issue but saying I still had to pay. It's a shame this happened, but I'll just take it as a lesson learned.

I had Buzzell Plumbing, Heating & A/C, Inc. come out to check my Carrier A/C on a Tuesday. The tech said they could add freon to help with the cooling, but the suspected issue was the expansion valve (TXV). We agreed to put the cost towards the valve if the freon didn't work. They said they would call with the price for the valve. I paid $280 for the service call and got a non-itemized invoice on Friday. I called back on Monday to say the A/C still wasn't working and I wanted to replace the valve. They scheduled service for the next day, but then called to say they didn't have the valve and wanted half of the $1400 repair cost to order it. I decided to call another company and found out the valve replacement would only cost $800. I asked for a refund, but was told only the owner could authorize it and he's never in the office. Very frustrating experience.

Two guys came and said it's better to replace the toilet than fix it. They gave us two options: they would provide the toilet and install it or we could buy our own and they would install it. We asked if they had pictures of their toilet or a display at the shop, but they said no. We chose to have them provide the toilet. They came back with a narrow-based toilet that didn't fit in the old space. We told them to stop the installation process, but they refused. We paid $250 for the installation fee and told them we would look for a better fitting toilet. We found one and called them to switch it out, but they said it would be another service charge plus another installation fee. We are out $250 and still had to buy a new toilet that fits our application. We are still trying to get them to pick up their toilet. Be careful before hiring them.

I had Buzzell Plumbing, Heating & A/C, Inc. come out to fix my water heater and they did a pretty good job. The only problem was that they didn't give me the paperwork showing the warranty for the water heater. I had to call them back and ask for it. Other than that, they were fine.

I called Buzzell on 7/*/21 'bout a water leak in my master bathroom. There was water in the vanity and on the floor in front of it. A plumber came and wrongly diagnosed the leak as coming from the wall behind the vanity. To fix it, he had to cut a hole in the back of the vanity and in the drywall, 'bout 10 inches square. He couldn't find the leak and wrongly thought it was in the wall at the side of the vanity. He said I needed to remove the vanity and he would come back another day to fix the leak. He charged me $75. Later that evening, I found the leak - it was in the cold water line just below the faucet in the vanity sink. On 7/*, Buzzell sent another tech who easily fixed the leak. He charged me $70. I want Buzzell to give me back the $145.00 so I can fix my wall and vanity.

We got the VIP thing with Buzzell. They always check the thing for problems. Our air stopped working so we called them. They looked at the thing and said it leaked all the coolant. The tech showed us the pipe that leaked. He said it would be $1500 and take four hours to refill the tank. He also said there could be other problems once he got the tank full and it could cost more. We think we need the repairs and the tank refill because they didn't do a good check during their last VIP visit. We asked for the manager to call us twice in the last week and no one called. We feel like we have no choice so we're writing this report and asking ComplaintsBoard.com for help.

I told Buzzell about it, but they didn't do anything. They said they would give me a refund, but they only gave me $75 instead of the $215 they said it would cost. I'm still waiting for my refund from Buzzell Plumbing, Heating & A/C, Inc. It's been 3 weeks and counting since I disputed a charge. They fixed a leak in my sewer pipe in *** back in July *** and I paid $1500 in full. But then, two months later, my property manager - *** - received and paid for a service call that was never discussed when I paid the bill. I've been calling Buzzell almost every day about the charge. Depending on who answers the phone, I get different responses. They say the claim is being reviewed, the check is being issued, but only the owner can sign it, or it's being reviewed again. On my second to last call on September *, they said the check for $75 was being issued. I called my property manager to whom the check will be made out to on September , and they said nothing has been sent. I called again yesterday, and they said it was in the accounting department, and I had to wait in line since there are other refunds being processed ahead of mine. It makes me wonder.
