On 07/16/2024 I was involved in an accident and as recommended by State Farm insurance I had my 2019 GMC Acadia (vin 1GKKNKLA3KZ117133) towed to the Ewing NJ location. After 1 1/2 months my vehicle was supposedly ready and when I picked it up the end of August 2024, the Shift Park error came on almost immediately and then Stabiltrak error. I returned my truck to the shop and then after about a week I was advised that these errors were rectified. Within a week, these issues and then all of the lights came on and once I parked my vehicle it would not move and had to be towed to the shop. Several car rentals occurred due to this whole ordeal and once I received my vehicle back around 09/24/24, the Shift Park error continued and Stabilitrak occasionally and additionally the Tire Pressure sensor in the Driver side front and Passenger side back are not reading at all. As the vehicle was being assessed back in July, once the total exceeded $13,000, I asked why the vehicle wasn't being considered as a total loss and I was advised by Caliber that the system would prompt them. I was advised by State Farm that this would have to be recommended by the adjuster who ironically was Mike from Caliber. Definitely after my vehicle had all dashboard lights coming on and would not start after being in the shop over 1 1/2 months and then returned there again shortly after pickup, 2 things were clear - 1. Caliber was not equipped to service my truck and 2. This truck needed to be considered a total loss. Their failure to assess my car properly until I had to go to the Department of Banking and Insurance cost me $5,205.55 in rental fees and car payments that would not otherwise had been spent. Also, since 09/2024, I had been trying to get this rectified and the GM at Caliber Collision of Ewing was trying to get my truck now seen by a dealer. He received no call back and so I called Ciocca and Coleman as they both deal with GMCs. Ciocca said that they no longer work on any vehicles after Caliber and Coleman needed someone to pay for the diagnostic. Since this was a Caliber related issued, Caliber needed to cover this diagnostic especially since they had received over $16000 from State Farm but failed to make my truck pre accident operational.

Claimed loss: $5,205.55 from 07/24 to 12/24

Desired outcome: Since Caliber did not do the job they were paid to do and has been blacklisted by at least 1 dealership near me, they should reimburse me the $5,205.55 I paid for rentals and car payments since 07/24 and $8000 of the repair fee.
