Terrible Experience with Camella Homes: Buyer Beware!
I had a terrible experience with Camella Homes. I thought I was making a smart investment by purchasing a property from them. However, after giving them my downpayment and equity, I was left with nothing but disappointment.
The personnel I talked to during the pre-selling transaction were friendly and accommodating. They made me feel like I was making the right decision. But once I gave them my money, they disappeared. I tried to contact them multiple times, but no one was available to assist me.
To make matters worse, I couldn't even get a copy of my official receipt and Contract to Sell. It's frustrating to think that I gave them my hard-earned money, and they couldn't even provide me with the necessary documents.
I'm not sure how Camella Homes is still in business. It's disappointing to see a company take advantage of people who are trying to make a better life for themselves. I hope that potential buyers will think twice before investing in Camella Homes.
Disappointing Experience with Camella Homes: A Nightmare to Own a House
Hey there, I just wanted to share my experience with Camella Homes. I gotta say, I'm not too impressed. I went with the South Camella Bacolod team turtle, and let me tell you, it's been a bit of a nightmare. First off, don't expect any notifications about the status of your house, electricity, or water. Nope, you gotta go there every day just to check what's going on. And let me tell you, the office team is like a bunch of undergrads who don't know what to do. But hey, at least their accountant can accept payment in seconds, right?
Honestly, I'm regretting my decision to go with Camella. If you're looking for a challenge and a bit of a nightmare to own a house, then Camella is the way to go. But if you're looking for a smooth and stress-free experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
I am currently facing the same issue with them. Owning a property under Camella South Bacolod has become a source of significant stress. There are concerning issues such as roof leaks, cracks in the firewall, and multiple structural flaws in the floor and stairs. What's even more frustrating is that, despite having made full payment, the title is still unavailable. Additionally, the uneven terrain at the back of the area raises the possibility of water overflowing onto the ground floor, adding to the growing list of concerns. When lodging a complaint with the office, there has been no response or update provided. They need proper training on how to handle complains and resolve the problem in timely manner. This is incredibly frustrating.
Disappointing Experience with Camella Homes in General Santos City: Lack of Support and Guidance for Homeowners
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with the way things are going down at Camella Homes in General Santos City. As a homeowner, I feel like I'm not getting the support and guidance I need from the folks in charge. I mean, when you buy a property, you expect to be treated with respect and fairness, right? But that's just not happening here.
I've been trying to make some small improvements to my house, but every time I bring it up with the admins, they shoot me down and don't offer any help or guidance on how to get it done. And to make matters worse, they're not exactly the friendliest people to deal with. They never answer their phones and when they do, they're not exactly polite about it.
Honestly, I'm just really frustrated with the whole situation. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. I mean, I get that they're busy and all, but come on. Is it too much to ask for a little bit of help and support when you're trying to make your house a better place to live in?
All in all, I'd say that Camella Homes in General Santos City is definitely not living up to its reputation. If you're thinking about buying a property from them, I'd definitely think twice and do your research first. Because from what I've seen, they're not exactly the most helpful or customer-friendly company out there.
Camella Homes Review: Nice Houses, But Dealing with Them is a Headache
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Camella Homes. I mean, don't get me wrong, the houses themselves are pretty nice and all, but the whole process of dealing with them was just a headache.
First off, I gotta warn you - don't trust everything the salespeople tell you. If they promise you something, make sure you get it in writing because once you've already moved in and you try to hold them to their word, they'll act like they never said anything. It's like they don't want to give you anything extra, even if it's something they promised you before.
And don't even get me started on the turnover of people. I swear, every time I called to ask about something, I was talking to a different admin. It's like they can't keep anyone around for more than a week. I mean, I get it, turnover happens, but it's just frustrating when you have to explain your situation to a new person every time you call.
And the process of getting things approved? Ugh, don't even get me started. You have to send your plans to the Camella engr to get them approved, which takes like 7-10 working days. Then you have to bring the approved plans to the Camella property manager, who sends them to the Camella admin to get stamped, which takes another 7-10 working days. It's like they're intentionally making it difficult for you.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Camella Homes. The houses might be nice, but the whole process of dealing with them is just too much of a hassle. If you do decide to go with them, just make sure you document everything and don't trust anything they say without getting it in writing first.
Disappointing Service: Our 5-Year Wait for Camella Digos House Unit
We decided to buy a house unit from Camella Homes in 2018. We chose Camella Digos as our preferred location. However, it is already 2022 and our house unit is still not yet built. We are very disappointed with the lack of updates from Camella Homes. It seems like they cannot provide us with proper information about the status of our house unit. If we want to know any updates, we need to go to their office and inquire. It is very inconvenient for us, especially since we are busy with work and other responsibilities.
We have been waiting for five years now, and it is very frustrating and heartbreaking. Every time we ask them why there is still no ongoing construction, they always tell us that they are waiting for advice or updates from their Central Office. We feel like we are just being given the runaround. We are very disappointed with the service that Camella Homes has provided us.
If we could turn back time, we would not have purchased a house unit from Camella Homes. We would have saved ourselves from the stress and heartache that we are experiencing right now. We hope that other people will learn from our experience and think twice before buying a house unit from Camella Homes.
Camella Homes: Untrustworthy and Dishonest Mortgage Practices
Camella Homes, let me tell you, they're not the most honest folks out there. Their customer service is pretty bad too. We got our mortgage through "All Bank" back in June of 2019. We were promised a fixed rate of 7.8% for 5 years. We made sure to pay our mortgage on time, even during the pandemic. But then, out of nowhere, we got a notice from "All Bank" saying that Camella had bought back our mortgage as an "In House" loan, and now we were being charged a whopping 14.9% interest rate. Can you believe that? Both Camella and "All Bank" are owned by Villar, so it's pretty clear what's going on here. They're manipulating the system to make more money off of hardworking people like us.
"All Bank" tried to blame Camella for not forwarding the title, but that's just a load of bull. It's their own fault for not doing their job properly. And now we're the ones who have to suffer with this ridiculous interest rate. It's not fair, and it's not right.
But we're not giving up. We're working on getting our mortgage refinanced by another bank. We're hoping and praying that we'll be able to succeed with the grace of the Lord. It's not going to be easy, but we're determined to make it happen.
So, if you're thinking about getting a mortgage through Camella Homes, I'd think twice. They're not the most trustworthy company out there, and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Disappointed with the Quality of Work from Camella Homes: Concerns about Structural Integrity and Lack of Action Taken
I recently had the pleasure of working with Camella Homes to build my dream home. However, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the quality of work that was done. It seems that the contractors they hired were not engineers, and it showed in the final product.
Upon inspection, I noticed that there were pieces of block that had been squeezed into the walls during construction. This was a major concern for me, as I knew that this could lead to cracking issues and possibly even collapsing in the future. I immediately reached out to Camella Homes to address the issue, but they simply wrote back saying that they had fixed the problem.
Unfortunately, I cannot go to the site due to the current Covid situation, so I am at the mercy of Camella Homes. I am worried that the mistakes were simply covered up with concrete, and that the underlying issues were not properly addressed. I have saved up my hard-earned money to build my dream home, and I am disappointed that this is what I have to deal with.
I am not the only one who has had issues with Camella Homes. I have seen many complaints online from other customers who have had similar experiences. It is concerning that there has been no action taken to address these issues.
Despite my concerns, I am hopeful that my home will be structurally sound. I plan to hire my own housing inspector to check the structure and ensure that everything is up to code. I hope that Camella Homes will take these issues seriously and work to improve the quality of their work in the future.
Guards, office staff and project manager
I want to make a formal complaint about the issue that is arising in Camella sorrento Mexico pampanga. I am at the moment doing a renovation in my house that is fully paid. And I just want everyone knows here that before hand we send a plan in the main office to get a permit as a law abiding citizen but what seems funny is that the more you abide the rules the longer you wait. Fast forward to the story we waited long enough for the decision to be released, 2 months had past no decision coming from the main office when we sent the original plan. So we revised the plan and we got the permit right away. The construction started but from day one different guards coming to the site taking pictures of what we are doing, harassing us asking us differentl questions asking for the permit asking for the deed of sale which we are not obliged to show because this is out of the context. and now when we are passing thru the gate upon entering sorrento the guards will stop our vehicle to check what is inside our vehicle and who is with us. we are being mistreated as a home owner of camella sorrento. as the owner of the house that is again fully paid been sent a letter to stop the construction of my house because they said that I the owner of the house broke the rules. when in fact a lot of houses here did a MAJOR MAJOR RENOVATION. I believe that this shouldn’t be an issue to any home owner here in camella sorrent, once you bought and paid the house in full you should be able to do whatever repairs and renovations you want to do as it is yours now. Guards or any other office staff shouldn’t mis treat any of the home owners as we the home owners association are the one paying all the staff in camella without us the homeowners, camella wouldn’t operate. so I am demanding that you should treat us with respect and gratitude. I haven’t seen anything like this, so rude - and very disrespectful staff.

Release of the Title of the house bought cash on 2015
Hello there,
I am Ms Dahlia Villaruel of B16 Lot 26 of Camella Cerritos Cagayan de Oro City Misamis Oriental, in Mindanao. I bought this property since 2015 of sometime in May. The agents name is Rolyn Labita. We agreed to buy it during pre-selling to be able to save cash money. Fast forward, the turn over was done and excited that I have the unit already.
Now is it 2023 of April, I still do not have on hand my Title of the Property that was paid back in 2015. I am wondering of what is the reason behind this delay when someone paid everything already upfront back in 2015. Are you able to help me with this issue. I am badly needed the explanation from Camella office in Cagayan de Oro. I always have my SPA follow ups with the Manager in the Cagayan Office name (Ed) and until now no feedback and same reason not enough people is working in that said office.
Pleaase reach me out at dahlia.[protected]@ottawa.ca
Thank you so much.
Desired outcome: Title release of Camella Cerritos unit B16 Lot 26 in Cagayan de Oro City. nPaid in full 2015 to Rolyn Labita one of the agent in Camella that time.
Substandard materials used
Hi. Our unit has been turnover last year May 2022, and upon turnover, there are many cracks and damages on the house.
The engineer asked us to sign the turnover papers, and he promised that they will repair the damages once we sign the contract.
To date, there is no action taken, and they said they can no longer accept any warranties on the house. They are so rude too!
Service
I would like to complain Ms. El Norwigean R. Bacon, she did'nt reply to my email and answer my call. I am requesting the status of my additional GC claimable 60 days after my loan release, my loan release was last Nov. 3. 2022, which offered to me by former admin staff Ms. Joanna Ibañez for me to agree for early LR and pay my last 2 months down payment in full. As per last conversation to her thru phone she promised me that the additional GC will be release together with the original GC promo Camella offered. My original GC promo was already send to my account.
Desired outcome: Please release the additional GC

Good day!
Block 26 Lot 6 Ravena Townhouse, turn over Sept 2020 pero di pa po kami nakatira dun.
Thank you. Jeanette cornelia
Wala po ako sa pinas.
i agree po. ganyan din po mga staff samin sa may camella sorrento mexico, mga bastos at walang modo. Ituring ung mga home owners parang mga basura. mag abide ka ng rules nila you will wait forever when infact pag fully paid na ang bahay you can do renovations if you want kasi bahay mo na yan eh.
House vacant illegally occupied
Good day, I just want to report about the vacant houses here at Camella Springville Exect 2 annex that there are squatters illegally staying or occupying the said vacant house, the home owners are aware of this matter, we the homeowners requesting to please check the said houses that where occupied illegally. We are hoping to Your office to take an action about this matter. Thank you, I hope that this matter will be confidential
Late turnover & unresponsive cs
We availed a house and lot in Camella Bulakan way back 2019. First investment namin ng partner ko. We were very positive about this, kasi madami kami friends in the area na and so far wala naman sila major complaints.
Sa part namin (I think specifically Phase 4 very problematic) a lot of things has been delayed, sa pag process palang ng bank loan. Tied with this is also the construction na di pa masimulan because of the same reason and the "pandemic" card na lagi nila ginagamit na reasoning.
Q4 2021 na napa-approve at na release ang loan. In between, we still diligently pay our dues. After the loan is processed, we were promised the turnover will be Q1 of 2022 and the move in by Q2. But of course, it did not happen. We kept on asking for updates regularly, sobrang unresponsive. Kung di ka pa mag ask, wala mag update sayo. And hindi ka din lagi rereplyan kahit paulit ulit email mo. Nakakadismaya.
Q3 2022, we got a reply and they told us the construction is done na but wala pa electricity and water sa area kaya hindi pa daw ma process ang turnover.
We kept on following up through email, wala na nag reply samin. The above mention was the last update we received from them. July pa. Patapos na 2022 wala na naman nangyari sa kinuhang bahay.
Sobrang frustrating lang kasi you availed nga of the unit kasi you need it. And it's not like we were just trying to make random investments, pinaghirapan talaga yung kada monthly na binabayaran para lang mabuo yung pangarap namin sa sinisimulang pamilya.
I hope this will be settled soon. The same goes to everyone in the same situation.
Desired outcome: Proper turnover and move in ASAP
House Turm Over
I bought a house at Camella Calamba-Palo Alto on December 2020. Ive been paying the equity for 21mos and this year should be the turn over.
I am an OFW and has been requesting the house agent if i can view the house location before i left last year. I was told that i need to finish the equity so I accepted the rules.
This August, I was expecting that the house is ready for occupancy as they told me before. However i was surprised to know that it wasn't done still. Though very much dissappointed, I just asked the agent for a site visit but even the site visit was not allowed. I've been paying for this, but havent seen the site yet.
Desired outcome: Want to visit the sound.
Until ngaun po waiting din kami sa move in . kasi wala pang tubig by 1st quarter pa daw next year ang possible
Lumina Homes Poor Customer Service
This is the least thing I expected but it’s been 2 weeks since I followed up on the status of my unit. They can’t even respond to me. Been 2 months since I last checked the unit and I still don’t know the turnover date.
I should have purchased from loval developers. Camella is slow, expensive and they have really bad CS. Been paying for the unit since 2019. Mag 2023 nalang wala parin.
Agree. No updates from the Officer-incharge kung di mo pa email. Pero ilang buwan bago magreply! papalit palit sila ng assigned point person to contact. Sept 30, 2021 pa and last email.
Internet Scam
The Internet connection in Camella Homes was unfair. You can't even choose your preferred internet connection, but they will force you for their exclusive provider, and worst that is not reliable on speed. You can't even do a work-from-home setup due to a slow-speed connection. Don't scam us on this matter because you are not helping the homeowners and don't give some convenience in our daily lives.
Desired outcome: Let us choose our preferred connection because we are the one who pays for it.
Water and Electricity Connenction, Move in delay
Turnover date : January 2022
As per the Info given: After 3 months from Turnover date, both Electricity and Water connection will be process. Then 3 months due already and was told to wait until June and then nothing happened, calls and emails done and always forwarding from one to other personel. Then I was informed again that it will be in August. I patiently waited but then again nothing. Now it's already August, sent Emails to fololow up again and again but no info.
I have read complaints from othe buyers and concerns are the same, delay delay and delay. Has anyone already file a case? If yes, let me know. I ould love to file one.
Refund and delayed turnover
I purchased a unit in Camella Metro Verra North. How long would they process a refund? The bank has approved the housing loan last March 2022, and I was told that they will refund the extra two months deposit and until now, it is August no refund was received. They kept on promising the refund is on process since April 2022. The turnover supposedly May-June 2022, it did not happen until now. I went home to the Philippines to check the house but there were cracks and termites in it. Got hold of the engineer who they say will do the works for the handover, but the engineer is not answering any queries as of now any updates. I felt we have been scammed big time. Don’t know who to get help. I am thinking of asking our President BBM or Vice President SDC for help to stop this kind of scamming people of their hard earned money. I am so sad as I expected Camella is a good company but because of what is happening I am disappointed.
Desired outcome: House cracks fixed, termites problem resolve, refund given and unit turnover
