My 76-year-old mother (who initially purchased the timeshare in FL) and I went to what was supposed to be a manager's meeting to help her understand the timeshare that she purchased in FL from Capital Vacations. We arrived in Myrtle Beach and were shocked at the accommodation provided for us. The room was filthy and looked like it had never been updated(I took pictures). When we arrived at the manager's meeting, they seemed shocked that our reservation was at that particular hotel, especially since my mother was already an owner. We also discovered during the meeting that the ownership my 76-year-old mother had purchased was filled with deception. We were literally at the manager's meeting for more than 8 hours, and we were left exhausted. We loved our salesperson, Alexandria, and thought that she honestly cared about the treatment my mother had received in Florida. It seemed that everyone was helping us. But now, I realize it was all a facade. They were actually signing not just my mother but also me into this contract that has numerous discrepancies. I have reached out to Capital Vacations on several occasions and have emailed with Kim Fisher only to not have these issues resolved yet. I also called and attempted to speak with Dan (who walked us through our contract) and was told that he would have the manager call me. Of course, there was no call from him either. The discrepancies include incorrect number of points (inconsistencies throughout the contract), incorrect mortgage payment on portal, lies about bonus points, the initial contract was not in my name but it states that on the new contract. Of course, we were promised fairness but it looks like we were deceived again by Capital Vacations.
Desired outcome: Correct the contract and provide the promised points. Correct the portal to reflect the correct fees. Refund points that were incorrectly used for manager's meeting.
