the food I ordered
Fries were not cooked fully, onion rings were overcooked almost burnt and happy burger was not fresh. Had to throw away not worth eating didn't look good at all. Jo-Ann an employee serve that to a customer and be charged. I live too far to go back. I should have checked my food. I will not be going to Carl's Jr anymore. How many times has this happened to customers. Very unacceptable to me. For what we pay I would think they should get the order right.

On 5/10/18 we went into the drive thru at Restaurant 1101977 on 3930 Eastex Frwy, in Beaumont, TX. We turned off our vehicle to make sure she could hear us. She rattled something we couldn't understand. Needless to say she got the order wrong and when we got to the window we could see why. She was carrying on a conversation on a cell phone. Her name was Ashley on her shirt. The order was so wrong when we drove away & short changed us on our food. Had she not been on the cell phone she might have gotten it right. Where are the managers seeing this kind of behaviour? My order # was 236651.
memphis bbq thickburger
After seeing the commercial for the Memphis bbq thickburger, I was excited to try one as I am a lover of pulled pork. I rushed down to my local Carl's Jr. and ordered 2 of them to take home. As I got home and sat down to eat them, I was seriously disappointed. Watching the commercial, it shows pulled pork coming out the sides and almost as thick as the burger but my burgers looked like they had no pulled pork on them at all. I literally had to take the bun off to see if there was only to see a minuscule portion thinner than a slice of cheese and about the size of a nickel in the middle on both burgers. I was thoroughly disappointed. Is this the proportionate policy for this burger? If it is, then maybe you shouldn't misconstrue the public on your commercials. I have always been a fan of Carl's jr food and have eaten there for 40+ years but this just left me very disappointed. I have never made a complaint before but I felt this one was necessary. I feel as though I should be somehow re-compensated for spending almost $15.00 for such a disappointing meal. Had I not driven almost 5 miles home, I would've returned them. Sorry for expressing such disappointment, but I felt I had to. Thanks for listening and I hope somehow or someway this can get resolved. John Bauer
product quality and value
As a general statement: I patronize your restaurants because I grew up in Anaheim and The Karcher family is near and dear to my heart. I recall the food always being delicious, fresh, convenient and a value.
As the parent of 4 I make many value based choices and your direct marketing campaign (coupons) frequently get my attention.
Sad to report as a general statement, I can't recall in the last several years have a hot and fresh meal at your restaurants. Today's purchase order #226928, was just typical. They asked me to pull up front as Some of the order was still being cooked, I assume. And they politely brought me the meal out with in just a few moments. The french fries were hot freshly made but lacked any flavored seasoning salt etc., the onion rings were over cooked beyond any reasonable standard, and the burgers tepid at best and in now way resembled the picture.
So I was driven by convenience and value, but seriously disappointed by quality and at $14.51 even with all the discounts still disappointed by value.

I stop at the Carl's Jr in Redmond Oregon about once every other week for breakfast. My carpool buddy and I usually get the same thing. Breakfast burger meals and maybe a burrito. The reason that I am stopping is usually because for whatever reason we didn't have time for breakfast that morning. Yesterday, the 26th, we went through the drive through and ordered just that. The bag was opened when we were about a mile down the road. We got 2 biscuit style sandwiches, bacon and egg, one order of hash browns and the burrito. Worst of all, everything in the order was stone cold except the coffees. We were already short on time and ended up with no breakfast. I am not normally a person to write in with a complaint but I think that they really need to sort their process out. It felt like they were just dumping food on us that they couldn't sell.
quality of service
I have been a customer of Carl's Jr for over 30 years. I would choose to stop there when driving and seeking a meal. However, since arriving in Livermore California I have found the quality of service disappointing. I went to the one at 875 East Stanley Blvd for breakfast about 2 months ago and the older man was super rude and upset about my request for liquid creamer for my coffee. Then 2 weeks ago I got the bacon waffle fries and burger (there was few fries and about one tablespoon of sauce on it). I stopped there for 2 breakfast burritos with salsa on the side and coffee through the drive through on my way out of town. When I open the bag later there was one sauce packet only. I stopped there when I came back and talked to the young man who was in charge at the time and ask if there was a company wide effort to cut cost in such a way or was it only that location's policy. He said "You should have asked for many sauce packets and should have asked for more sauce on your fries" It was your responsability to look before you left." And he went on to the next customer.
Is it a company wide new policy to cut cost by lowering the standards ?
It saddens me greatly.
I am complaining about the new general manager at carl's jr on w lake houston parkway
I am an employee of your company and I called off of work on 4/17/18 in order to attend job interviews that I had scheduled to have the week before and the manager ms ella harris had another employee text me to don't worry about coming in for the rest of the week when in fact I didn't ask for the rest of the week off I only asked for today off and I feel like I called off for a good reason I'm trying to better my future and I don't see my self working with your company in the next 5 years because I want something bigger for myself and she has no right to not let me come to work for the rest of the week when in fact that store is not doing good at all they need me to help them this week the store was recently robbed and I feel like they racial profiled another employee because he was the one robbed I just want to work my days I just asked for one day off not the week all I want is to get my hours in. This store has went through 4 different managers since I started working for you all on 3/7/18.

The oddest thing happened to me today. I'm the only one in the drive thru ordered onion rings and a shake no one was behind me. After I paid the girl said she would bring it outside to me and I'm confused on why I had to get out of the drive thru instead of waiting when no one was behind me. Terrible customer service and things like this make you think someone is doing something to your food that you're unable to see. Then when I get my ice cream this is how much in the cup

I called and asked about possible management positions that might be open. The manager on duty at the Carl's Jr. location 1301 South 1st st, Lufkin-tx named Josephine was very ride and unprofessional. The manager thought she hung the phone up but she did not. I overheard her telling other workers that I sounded stupid and unprofessional. I am very upset that such behavior is tolerated by Carl's Jr. and it's parent company CKE Restaurant Holdings, Inc. I will not patron this establishment ever again nor will any of my friends or family.

I went to drive thru saturday around 11:30 am and they did not give me my complete order. I noticed when i got home. I also looked for receipt and realized they did nkt give me one. I called their facility and explained i could not return the same day to pick up my order but i would return another day manager said thats fine when i asked for her name she refused to give me her name and just said to ask for manager. I returned monday night and i explained to cashier who then told manager. Cashier came back and said manager said no she cant give me my order for saturday. I asked to speak to her she then said shes on break. I refused to leave until i spoke to her she then said come back tomorrow and that she was not in the business of givi g free food just for the asking. I was insulted as i paid for my meals and was not given my order. Why would she accuse me of trying to get free food. I will never return and i would appreciate a refund and i used my debit as proof of payment. I was so upset i also didnt receive my meal i purchased monday.
this independent franchisee is more mexican than all american.
This Carl's Junior located in Porterville, CA changed into a fake Carl's after it was bought by a franchise owner. The first thing they started to do was put up Mexican flags and colors for every Mexican holiday. Then this franchise owner allowed his staff to play (I guess this is what it is on their radio) music that most 16 years old listen to called Rap (which is very explicit) and Hip Hop which is loud and very annoying. We always order take out now and have started to not eat there because the food is not fresh made but cooked ahead of time. As for the interior decor, it reminds me more of a local food place and has nothing to do with Carl's or Mr. Kercher's dream. The food is okay but not great so as I said so we are eating at IN and Out Burgers now. Carl's needs to reign in their Independent franchises or just go away because it is NOT the All American place in CA. By the way, I am not a white person, so I am not being racist. I just grew up during the time of the Golden Arches, A&W's Papa, Mama, and Junior Burgers, and Bob's Big Boy. I am half Portuguese and Native American.

the manager’s service
I went to the carls jr in Riverside Ca and everything was fine I made my order and I was waiting to be called. The reciept that I had was the number 67 and the worker was calling for the number 66 and the manager comes up and asks to see my reciept and starts yelling at me saying this is your order why haven't you come up! And I yelled back well why am I going to stand up if i have the number 67 and not 66 but it made me really mad how he thought he could yell at me for something that the workers made an error of and aside from that he didn't give me my drink so I had to drive back, instead of yelling at me he should've been checking to see if my order was done right, and his name was Francisco. Really poor service.

Good Evening perspective supervisor of Carl's jr. Tonight me and my boyfriend went to the Carl's Junior at 14555 Lakewood Boulevard in Paramount California 90723. It was not crowded at all. When we got in there we decided what we wanted to order and we were completely blown off as if we were invisible but they did look at us but did not say anything for at least 20 minutes we were going to leave but I told my boyfriend to just hang on I wanted to see how they were going to handle the rest of it. They would walk past us and never say anything. I'm not sure if you guys teach work ethic these days but if you do this group of employees that were staffed tonight need to take a class common courtesy as well and Common Sense and customer service. They could have said just a moment or I'll be right with you or sorry for your weight but at least acknowledge our existence and the fact that we are giving you guys business. Then when we ordered it took forever to get our food and there was hardly anybody there by the time we started to eat the food was cold and they had just made it and it was wrong but we did not feel like going back it wouldn't matter anyways they are so lazy and slow it's not worth it and I wouldn't go back and I would tell everybody don't go there especially if you have other things you need to do. No I don't usually like to do this and it's not something coming for me but you really need to do something maybe hire some more staff or do some more trainings but customer service is very important to keep your customers the only person that was doing anything was the guy that was cooking he was hustling they could learn a thing or two from him at least learn how to smile at your customers and say hello that would be a start. I hope that this doesn't keep happening because it would be a shame for that Carl's jr. to close down a lot of people like to go there although it was not busy at all and hardly anybody was there what a shame these kids these days they don't know how to have work ethic. Somebody's got to train him and teach him right.

We just dined at your location in Midland, TX. We drove from Abilene, and intentionally made concessions to have breakfast at your store. Our experience was enormously disappointing and very much a waste of our time and resources. Our biscuits were dry and flavorless. The cheese on them was cold and ill fitted to our biscuits. The overall cleanliness of your dining area was far below subpar, at best. There were obvious patches of lint and dust covering most surfaces. The napkin holders were filthy and dotted with old splashes of soda. We are hugely disappointed!

was at you Sacramento carls jr on Arden way at 10:15 this morning 03/20/18 and the employee could not get my order right. I asked for 2 orders of sausage biscuit with egg and cheese and large ice tee. what I got was no cheese and small ice tee. I went back into the lobby to let them know and they were arguing with me about what I ordered so they put the cheese on a piece of paper and handed it to me to put it on my self and would not fix the drink. so we left unsatisfied. sorry no photos of food.
greasy tasting sodas 100% of the time

Every single carl's jr drive thru I go, to the sodas taste like grease. I dont know if it is the soda spouts not being cleaned, or what. Placement of cups? Lids? This is ongoing. Every location, as I drive a lot for work. If someone from qa or wherever can look into this please. I've no idea of if you've ever had such a complaint. You are not the only place with this issue though.

I had just gone threw the drive thru, and ordered one single slider and two double sliders and an order of criss-cut fries. Proceeded to the window and was told. Very rudely why didnt you order the double there all the same price, you should just get the doubles. I replied that is what I was asked to get. Total came too 7 dollars and some change, have no reciept to be exact. 5 minutes pass and I get my bag, get to the street and make sure its all there... No fries, so back up and go threw again... I wait threw two cars and finally get to the window and say what about my fries, and was told I didnt charge you for the fries! So I assuming next time I go to carls jr ill just let you guys order for me and pay double for everything!
I am complaining about my order and quality of food
We stopped and ordered from drive through at Carl's Jr. located on 280 E Workman Ave West Covina California. And we ordered a steak and egg burrito, French toast sticks, large Dr Pepper, and small fries. Before leaving we ask for ketchup cause now resteraunts don't give you ketchup unless you ask for it even if you order French fries. So we leave and being eating, realizing our French toast sticks are in half 2 of them are not, we didn't get any syrup for our French toast sticks. Out Dr Pepper was completely watered down. And our Steak and Egg burrito was more egg and cheese. So disappointed with the service. We don't often go to Carl's Jr. because we've had a bad experience prior to this. And now We will not be returning to Carl's jr again. Ever.
$5 meal / employee
I ordered 2 meals one had only 2 chicken strips and neither had a cookie. I called the restaurant and as I said what was missing from my meals I was then hung up on. I tried calling back and have got no answer. This is the rudest Carl's Jr I've ever been to. I will never return, may I suggest you find who is in charge and put them through some customer training! oil in the fryer
The last 2 times me and my family have ordered from here our fries/fried zucchini (anything that has 2 b fried) tastes like old oil. I dont think the employees change the oil often enough. The food leaves a nasty oil taste in all of our mouths. Tonight when we went in the employee behind the counter was cursing he turned around and had a filthy work shirt on. It looked like it was covered in oil and dirt.
