5 monthz ago we got a 2017 *** civic at carvilles. Right off the bat, ALL the engine lights popped up, 9 in all. We put it to their service peeps, but they can't make it rite. Another local dude had it for ova a month and still no go. Even asked *** service team to look at it, they quoted us more than $1500 but no "promises". Called carvilles twice to talk 'bout it but zilch response.

I bought a car from carvilles and it needed maintenance within a few days. I took it to a shop of my choice a couple of times within a month. They wouldn't maintain it at the dealership site at all. I took it back to the shop a few times and they said nothing was wrong. After the warranty ran out, the shop said I needed a new engine and I had to pay out of pocket for it plus labor. I've left several messages for the manager *** but he hasn't returned my calls to this day.

you gotta be real careful when you come here to buy a car. I thought I could trust them, but it turns out that everything that glitters ain't gold. They might tell you that you qualify for a certain amount, but that don't mean nothing if the cars they got ain't worth spit. I had to keep increasing my budget just to find something that wouldn't break down on me. And even then, the one I finally found had a real bad problem with the engine. I ain't no mechanic, but I could tell that something was seriously wrong with it. Plus, when I looked at the records, there was nothing to show that they'd taken good care of it before selling it to me. I wasted a whole week trying to make something work, but in the end I had to walk away. So if you're thinking about coming to Carvilles, just be careful and do your homework first.

Me and my hubby bought a 2011 GMC from Carville's Auto Mart, Inc. on January 3, 2022. The brakes had a service alert, and we told the dealership. On Jan 14, we took the truck to them for brake and oil gauge check. They said they replaced the gauge, but the check engine light came back on after we left. On Jan 24, we took it back to them for brake cylinder replacement and fixing oil gauge again. Brakes still suck tho, and the brakes plus brake specialist said it's got air in brakes, oil's dirty or the Abs module is acting up. When we went back to the dealership, they said they wouldn't fix it, and we should use our warranty. On our way home, check engine light came back on, and we lost oil pressure again. Called the dealer, and they said to claim it on the warranty, but when we checked, the warranty was cancelled! We called the dealership, but they kept telling us to use warranty knowing they cancelled it without any legit reason. Warranty contract states that it can't be cancelled unless we miss a payment, which we haven't because we just bought the truck. It's a big no-no to sell risky vehicles- a breach of trust, bro.

I told my salesman, Gee, and he set up an appointment for me the next week. But the mechanic wasn't in, so we had to push it out one more week. The mechanic told us that metal debris was found in the transmission fluid and the transmission needed to be replaced. We spoke to Linda, the customer service rep, and Matthew, the general manager, who assured us there was no problem with the transmission and tried to sell us a warranty instead. But they didn't follow up and wouldn't respond to our calls and messages. I called the other GM, Jerry, who "lost signal" and still haven't heard back. Auto Zone also advised that the truck needs a new transmission. I think they traded the truck in with the issue, cleared the light, and sold it to me.
