disconnect my main line
On 02/07/2012 4.19pm, I called up to celcom care line [protected] to ask for request to temporary disconnect my supp line [protected] & received a message sent by celcom {Dear Valued Customer, yr request has been received and is currently being processed.We will notify you once the transaction is complete.Thank you} at 02/07/2012 4.27pm. Today 03/07/2012 morning i found out that my main line [protected] was disconnect. I call up to celcom care line & speak to Mr Rafiz to clarify on this matter. He admitted that is a mistake done by him & request me to fax him a request letter for reconnect purpose. Im angry that why i have to do so which is the mistake is not done by me?! For me to solve the problem asap so i was fax the letter to him at 12.16pm & he confirm to recived the letter & promise will reconnect the line within half an hour. After the time, Mr Fariz call me saying that he will charge me RM10 for reconnect fee! I was damm angry WHY CHARGE ME?! I request for waiver & furthermore he want to to make the current bill payment which is only due on 17/07/2012! I refuse to do it which is so unreasonable! I try to escalate this matter to his superior Mr Ong. But he still cant help me to solve the problem! I just want my line be reconnect back immeadiately! I don't want to blame any person. BUT until now 4.48pm my line is still under "NO SERVICE". Who gonna to compensate all the losses to me? And who gonna to compensate all the inconvenient caused to me?!

worst service & promotion
On 23/03/12, I went to Celcom Office at Sibu, Sarawak to check on the latest promotion and I plan to register new number.. When I was there, I deal with the staff in-charge with the promotion on Celcom Smartphone. I interested with iPhone 4GS & Samsung Galaxy SII promotion. So, I agreed to to take both handphone. I paid the deposit together with the handphone price. The staff told me that I will receive the handphone within 14 working days.
But very sad to say, I haven't receive both handphone until today (03/05/12), I call the staff whom I deal with but I always received many excuses such as "PROMOTION WAS STOP BY HQ WITHOUT INFORMING THE SALES STAFF, NO STOCK FOR SAMSUNG SII, HANDPHONE ON DELIVERY & the most he told me is YOU WILL RECEIVE IT BY NEXT WEEK." But I waited with patient until 1 month plus, still I didn't receive anything. My gosh! What a very very very bad service Celcom give to their customer. CELCOM is a BIG company. Don't tell me that this company give "LAW-IYA" services. If unable to give good service, do not give such promotion. Just like Celcom company take advantage to approach people like me with their promotion .

no access to network
I'.ve been using Celcom for several years. recently, I 've problem with the access to the network, called up the customer service on Friday. They said that the probelem will be OK o Saturday. Unfortunaely, I am still have no acces to the network until Wednesay and it it almost a week the problem occurred. I lodge a report by calling CS ang they said it may take 4 days to look into it. The other day, I try to call CS and the mentioned that they might need another 3 to 7 days for the solution. This really sucks. This company totally ###.
call and message service problem
nowadays i always have a problems with call and message service.every time i want to call or message with my family or friends, i can't reached them.usually this problem will last for 4 to 5 hours usually at night.last month, the company service center said that they have upgrade this service.but what i see is that this problem getting worse.what will happen if this problem happen during emergency?so i think that i want to change my prepaid service if this problem getting more worse than ever.

Complaint against Celcom regarding “not able to shift to Celcom prepaid from the prepaid connection” and requesting for a proper solution as soon as possible.
Before I use Celcome postpaid and now I terminated the postpaid and I am trying to use the prepaid. But this prepaid can’t be used. Please check for this condition and let me know the problem and the solution ASAP.
excess paymet not refunded
I terminated celcom broadband service since feb 2010 and I have made excess payment which celcom suppose to refund to me after service terminated. However I have called to complaints at least 3 times and walked in to complaints more than 3 times. Their customer service provider either not assist or promised that this case would be submitted and I would receive my money refunded soon. But after more than half years and several time of cmplaint to them I still did not receive money which suppose to be refunded. Is it such a big company do not have sufficient money to refund to customer? They purposely do not want to refund or there is lots of room of improvement for their customer service or internal process flow?

I have paid my bill for this month in 2 weeks ago. But now, the line is awfully slow. Sometimes the line slow until automatic cut down. What i get for buying and using this line from Celcom? Its totally cheated my money 70rm per month. Now is middle of the month, the line is still slow. Next week, the bill is out and i must paid for this month. Till when we must get cheated?

i'm just confused about the terms of services provided by celcom broadband, about a year ago i've decided to terminate my broadband subscription and the agent said to pay the overdue payment first but do not worry because the celcom broadband subscription is already terminated, but yesterday i received a letter saying that the subscription is still ongoing and now i have to pay for rm 400 something..what exactly happen here?

I support your company's Broadband interested, so I call to Sandakan, Sabah Office to make inquiries. The counter staff transferred me to Broadband Business Department, and by Mr. Abel (Hp: [protected]) is responsible for my case. I pass all the supporting document to Mr. Abel has more than two weeks; He did not give me any respond. And I do not answer his phone and not allocated to reply to any of my messages. Even i call to Sandakan Office, the counter staff but also to see any help & just ask me try call Mr. Abel. They told me that is not their business.
In no way, I found the Great Wall Telecommunications. They only took less than half the time I registered for the good, the next day will be able to use your company's Broadband. So that i have your company's services attitude is very unhappy.
Why the same is case but have different services? Will Mr. Abel is promising what did my case? I even doubt Mr. Abel simply never registered for me. I hope that your company can do for my investigation of this matter, so that other consumers will not repeat my question so disappointed in your company.

As a costumer, I wanted to transfer from celcom to maxis but the request was rejected by my current service provider. Everytime, I went to celcom center (near Taman Molek in Johor Bahru) to ask for reasons but I received different reasons everytime. Example, such as maxis didn't confirm my request, I owe Celcom money, I immediately went to maxis center (near Celcom center)asked for reason, they said that they had helped me comfirm the request but was rejected and said that I owe celcom money. I headed back to celcom center again and done full settlement and the celcom's counter staff told me that i had not owe them money from that moment. I back to maxis center again to request transfer. the same story I repeated many times but until now still no good news come to me. Actually, my phone number was being used for about ten years by me. If not, I already abandon my phone number. I wanted to give a warning messege seriously to all handphone costumer DON'T SIMPLY TRANSFER YOUR CURRENT SERVICE PROVIDER TO CELCOM BECAUSE IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO TRANSFER TO OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER FROM CELCOM AGAIN and THIS IS CELCOM.

2) If you want to check your call made in a month( bil terperinci), you need to pay money. CELCOM charge RM 3.00. Is it logic for a service provider to ask money to show the list of call made by customers. Isn't it consumers right to check the bill before they pay. I think in the future, they are not going tell you much your total bills. If you want to know your bills you need to pay money too.
Do the Govt knew about all these scam or they dont want to disturb all these Big Players to extract money from public?
Wake up Malaysians, don't let all these evil Big Players extort your penny. Its your bloody money, start to question them back. Know your rights and speak them out. At least those big players will start to realize Malaysia do know their rights and have gut to question them.

Do check your usage (for phone internet), they can tell you your average usage and dont pay for what you do not need.

I would like to share my recent experience with celcom customer service:
6/5/2011 – i paid my latest celcom bill via maybank2u.
9/5/2011 – i apply to porting my no to other service provider. (being offered better plan)
10/5/2011 – other service provider inform me that my request to porting my no denied by celcom. asked to contact celcom.
10/5/2011 – contacted celcom customer service (1111) to know the reason my porting denied. being told because i havent settle the bill yet. asked to email payment receipt. did that. contact 1111 again after a while to know the status. being told email no longer in used, asked to faxed. did that. after a while called 1111 again to check the status. being told faxed not received, even though my fax machine says fax send and completed to celcom axiata. faxed the receipt again twice just in case, still not received by celcom.
feel unhappy. feel like celcom dont want to acknowledge my payment. being made to understand maybank2u payment will be updated instantly but this already passed 4 days. check maybank statement, money being deducted from account. where this money goes to if celcom does not receive it? register complaint to celcom online. celcom acknowledge the complain.
11/5/2011 – called 1111 again if my payment received. negative. try to checked if faxed received. no definite answer instead person online mumbling about my registered complain and told my complain will take few days to be handled. i just want to know if yesterday fax received. faxed the receipt again. and will call them again tomorrow to check.
feeling victimised and frustrated for being treated like stupid. Feel like celcom doesnt like me to porting (switch to other service provider).
So you people out there just be careful. if you dont have any issue you are ok but once you need to contact celcom customer service, your frustration may begin. maybe that what they want so that you wont bother them... maybe?

Walaupun telah sekian lama penggunaan telefon mudah alih digunakan, tetapi masih tiada pihak yang berkenaan membuat pemantauan untuk menyemak rangkaian di kawasan kampung kami. Untuk pengetahuan, pencawang yang terdekat dengan kawasan ini ialah di Kampung Jeragan yang jaraknya lebih kurang 7KM. Oleh itu, mohon jasa baik pihak tuan membuat pemantauan di kawasan tersebut kerana majoriti penduduk di kawasan tersebut menggunakan telefon mudah alih. Why is celcom being so difficult in handling line migration? Only after registration, I was told I had to wait 24 hours before my line could be activated. Now that it's been well past 24 hours, I am told I have to wait three to five working days. What's the problem, celcom? And while we're on the subject, why are your staff so incredibly rude and unable to communicate well? They struggle in speaking english and some in bahasa malaysia as well. What kind of standards do you people have in hiring staff? You're a telecommunications company, for crying out loud! Please step your game up.

With reference to the above, I would like to inform that there has been more then 2 months delay to change my Celcom number to U Mobile. First I went to Taman segar Celcom branch to change my Celcom number to U Mobile. They charged me about RM 70.00 and they said within a week I will be able to use U Mobile sim.
I waited about a month nothing happened.I went to Celcom again regarding this issue, they told me my line is supplementary line so the process failed. I was not satisfied about this and I checked in another Celcom branch, they told me my line is not a supplementary line and they will get in to an action regarding to this problem but up to today no results.

Celcom: The Master of Conning
Celcom broadband service is full of booby traps and surreptituous additions of fees. With a contract-free broadband internet service, there is supposed to be no termination fee at all. However, the real 'termination fee' is based on the monthly outstanding balance prior to termination. And the monthly outstanding balanced is calculated cheapest at RM98 per month. This means that your minimum termination fee will be RM 98. On top of that, they never send you any notifications. If there is, beware that they will be quite obscure and possibly in the junk folder of email. If you did not take note of the monthly invoice, they will not remind you until the next month. This result in continuous accumulation of unpaid monthly fees, which is done unknown to the user. And if you do leave it for 3 months, it can go up to RM300++. AT THE END, IF YOU DO TERMINATE THIS SO CALLED 'CONTRACT-FREE' BROADBAND SERVICE, YOU WILL HAVE TO RETURN THE MODEM AND END UP WITH NOTHING.
ASK YOURSELF:
DO YOU WANT TO PAY RM 98 FOR A MOBILE BROADBAND SERVICE THAT NEVER REACH EVEN 50% OF THEIR STATED AVERAGE SPEED, AND GET THROUGH ALL FRUSTRATION TRYING HARD JUST TO GET YOUR EMAIL PAGE LOADED ON THE WEB BROWSER?
THE NUMBER OF DISCONNECTIONS IS ALL SO ASTRONOMICAL (NOT ACCENTUATING). IT CAN BE CONCLUDE THAT THE NORMAL SPEED IS AT 0KBPS.

I supposed to get free phone from celcom since i just changed from maxis to celcom. As their promise, they will send the phone to my address company in 2 weeks time. However, now it's been more than 2 months but still didnt received. I have been complaint and asking few times to his manager of Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd, Khaleerurrahmaan, and his assistant. As usual, they will said you will received by next week. And again I called they said maybe stock not enough since year end. They Celcom Mobile coming to my company and sell their products, now I heard from my colleagues, many of us still didnt get it.

Berhad cheated me and a few hundred thousands other customers with fake & misleading sms and phoney call charges that the customers never make . My first complaint was filed to Celcom on 04/12/2008 report No. C081204 - [protected] at Seberang Jaya Penang, Celcom branch. No action was taken . I filed many more complaints as time go by . Written complaint was filed on 06/04/12 to Branch Manager, Dato Sri Mohammed Shazalli bin Ramly ( Celcom CEO ) and other agencies.

ineffecient service and poor line
I susbscribe to Celcom broadband for 2 years now. Most of the time its superb line but recently started giving be lot of problems, I use the RM98/month package and it has 5G usage limit, and every month my usage is near or reaching 5G last 2 month same usage same thing I do but the usage exceeded only in 10 days! Cause me not to be ablr to server o do anything. And I try asking them reason all the can say is that the data processing shows this, they can't do much. I feel cheated, they can't explain what things I did to make such high usage, one of the days exceed 1.2G this is crazy.
My boradband modem check only shows 2G usage so how the hell do they stack 4 G to my usage? As of now after 10days 6.75G usage...
Therefore please if those that know boycott CELCOM for their stupid package and explaination. I will definitely cancel this service.
