Very Poor Quality
Our new Champion Home has so many defects and installation issues that in the last 7 months we have had 33 problems that needed correction but even though they came out because I yelled loud enough but I was told this time they have been out 5 times and their policy is 1 time. I don't care if they have to come out 30 times. If it is a workmanship, defect or warranty they need to fix. We were told Champion Homes was the highest quality in the Manufactured housing market. If it is I would hate to see the other brands. My wife calls this the paper house. We know because we live here this nightmare will never be over. The customer service person Tiffany makes us feel like this is our issue. Our heavy ceiling fan I believe is installed not per code and fell down because it was supported by tiny nails called Bradford nails. A disaster waiting to happen. The materials in here are the worst. Cheap. Flawed. My wife is scared to live in this home. Every Day it is something else that happens. My recommendation is NOT TO BUY A CHAMPION HOME.

Bathroom/shower faucet
I have emailed Champion Homes three times in the past three weeks about an issue with my small bathroom faucet. I am only getting cold water, the faucet shuts off if I try to turn it to hot water. The faucets in my home are MDA brand and are still under warrantee. I purchased my home in 2015, Serial number 122-000-H-A003973AB. To date I have had no response from the Champion web site.
Desired outcome: Repair or replace faucet.
2022 Champion Cantina ct4563B double wide home
I have requested eave construction details for my home because I noticed cardboard hanging above the Soffit vents that go around the house. (Appears fire hazard) Champion will not comply without a protective order.
I am now waiting a response from manufacturer in Idaho. But haven’t recieved a response from the rep. I emailed and left messages on phone it’s been over week and I get no answer. I only want to verify if this construction is proper.
Broken appliances and faulty construction and materials
All appliances new, but…
Toilet (not seal leaks), washing machine damaged.
Wall coverings cheap in quality, easily peeled off with gas stove heated water.
Screen door of cheap quality easily broke with normal use, needed totally replaced
Cheap, non-UL listed recessed lighting with many electricians website advisories to never use- three out of 12 don’t work.
Four kitchen cabinet doors fell off needed repair with VERY light use.
Hot water heater needed replaced after two weeks of LIGHT use.
Outdoor ceiling fan/light improperly installed broke off.
Outdoor soffit panels (3) blew off showing only 3 roofing nails hold each panel.
Roof asphalt shingles (MANY) blew off in only moderate winds creating $11,000 in repair and ceiling water damage, revealed cheapest roofing construction materials and techniques… stunned the repair company !
Lowest quality fixtures and applications used pretty much throughout.
Desired outcome: I’ve brought these things to their attention with never a response. After all the defects, poor quality construction and materials and THOUSANDS of my dollars spent to correct… at least an apology ??

Modular home and customer service
After a year and a half was able to take possession of a fixer upper that was supposed to be new. The roof was hipped up at installation and the siding started falling off immediately. Roughly 6 months later we finally had these fixed at our expense to prevent further damage. I was told we would be reimbursed, but now they will only approve a quarter of it...

Horrible company, atrocious quality, Teresa the manager lies, they waited two months after my walk through to contact me to start work after Peterson Homes told me they would contact me in a couple of days. Turn Key was the seller and I wasn't told by any of the three companies what I was in for when it came to repairs so they all took advantage of me the customer in many ways.
It's been a literal nightmare, one of my main items mentioned from day one was the paint overspray throughout the entire home and was not addressed as Teresa stated to me in one of her last emails to me where she washed her hands of me stating they have completed their work which they have not! Paint is all over my cabinets and floors, she was being a smart aleck saying we aren't moving furniture, I never said they had to and then her next email was they are done! Teresa also stated the paint over spray was cosmetic and that falls under 30 day warranty but remember they waited two months to call me and she didn't say this until six plus months in, they are unethical. Mind you it's mid year and I have a years warranty but they are done?
Teresa is trying to state why my kitchen sink is knocking, she doesn't know, the technician said it was air in the pipes but it's more. They think changing the faucet was good enough, that has nothing to do with it. They’re is still creaking in the floors and they aren't going to address those. The cabinets they replaced were done badly, there is a middle piece of wood between the doors and it should be inset and it's not so the cabinets stick out and it's scratched by the screws.
They took the cheapest way out to repair my floors from where some worker stupidly put staples around the floor vents and toilets leaving holes in my new flooring and would only fill the holes not a permanent fix, same with my new counters chipped up and wanted to peel the laminate and replace which would fill the home with saw dust, I don't think so after Harry from Turn Key wouldn't clean my brand new home and it took me two days to clean before I could move anything in!
So they filled in the chips on the tops of the counter also not a permanent fix and replaced the edging calling it an upgrade, that's hilarious. The carpet was cut short, doors were hung wrong, front bedroom door won't shut, second bathroom door had a huge gap and they filled it with caulking, toilets are grossly off center as the one in the master bath is just inches from the counter!
Everything’s so poorly done especially for the money charged, I was ripped off by nearly $80,000. They put the cheapest of everything in this home. No one ever thanked me for my purchase, but they surely have treated me poorly, probably because I'm insisting they fix what should be. They have many poor reviews.
Every time a technician came out they would be here four to five hours but not working but a hour or two, they would be out in the van on the phone, talking to neighbors and who knows what? I kept track of every visit, who it was, date and time they were here and what they did. It's a shame there are so many unreliable, shady companies out there.
Desired outcome: Warranty repairs completed without attitudes, an apology. Honor the “year” warranty you owe me!
delivered home
I recently purchased a home made by Champion. I planned on installing solar panels on the roof. I needed some technical information regarding the truss system and roof weight limits. I have sent multiple emails directly to Champion stating that time was of the essence because the design engineer needed the information in order to ensure safe and proper installation of the panels. They have yet to respond. It seems like after the sale is made they aren't interested in ensuring that I as a customer am given satisfactory treatment. customer service stinks.
Wrongful termination
On March 16th 2023 I was wrongfully terminated from Champion Homes in Laurinburg North Carolina. My name is Christopher White and I worked in the ceiling and paint department at Champion Homes at that plant in Laurinburg North Carolina since October 21st 2021. My job was my life I came to work everyday was never late and only missed 4 days in the last 17 months I am a very upbeat person and I always move fast and I understand the importance of getting the job right the first time. At 11 am on this day I was told by a supervisor to spray a ceiling that was already prepared to spray by me before lunch. I went to grab my extension cord in which I've been using for 4 days, as i was wrapping up in the co-worker yelled to me from about 30 ft away that he had been using that cord I apologize told him that I had to get to the ceiling to spread before lunch. He was saying that I could have found another one as I was walking back to the tunnel about 40 ft away from I had yelled I got to get this f___ing ceiling sprayed before lunch and I continued walking towards the tunnel to get the ceiling spray. Somewhere nthe e around the corner of one of these homes on the pad a sales lady who was walking with two other sales people from the outside heard me yelling to my coworker about getting the ceiling sprayed using a word or two of profanity as I was walking away not directed at anyone but just acknowledging the fact that I need to get this done before lunch and I made it to the tunnel sprayed the ceiling and a couple hours later was called into the break room and told me that I was fired and the other employee my coworker was also fired. I broke no rules no policies we were not arguing or fighting nor had we ever argued her been in any type of altercation I'm 53 years old I've gotten one fight when I was 10 years old we were just two co-workers who happened to be communicating from 40 ft away from each other moving apart to continue our common goal of the day finishing home. I work in a few different departments I paint I help point out drywall finishers I help finish drywall and I do the ceilings I love the rush of the day stay busy and completing a beautiful product because I take pride in my work my supervisor was Angie in the Laurinburg plant and she can vouch for my work ethic and my character I take very much pride in my work and I love coming to work every morning. This has taken more than my job it has affected my life. For the first time in my life it's had purpose not only do I enjoy coming to work everyday I really had plans and hopes to grow in the future and be a part of this company as long as I live it took me 53 years to grow up I've been in and out of prison and I've suffered addiction for many years I've been working in this company for 17 months and my attendance record speaks for itself was direct deposit and 401k and insurance everything was coming together for me and I was just about to go to a car lot to finance a vehicle so I can work on my credit everything is gone and I did nothing all I did was come to work and work hard all day. I already feel somewhat in danger by the condolence of drug usage at the job. Steve Sims which came from Michigan to take over the Laurinburg plant was smelling marijuana in the plant frequently and when he was walking around with customers it could have caused a lot of controversy and possibly money so he built a shelter for smoking in the back of the plant and told everyone that there's no reason to smell marijuana smoke in a plant anymore smoke it in the shelter. so every day on break there was people with backpacks and marijuana scales rolling Blunts and everyone getting high and then going back into the plant running heavy machinery and working with power tools so I worked by myself doing ceilings and painting which gave me a great sense of joy and fulfilled me and my job was taken for nothing I'm devastated living in a hotel trying to figure out my next move or how I'm going to pay my next bill. I have pictures of everyone smoking marijuana and weighing dope on scales making drug transactions and sales and I just hold it in my phone knowing that this and negligence on behalf of staff not getting to the bottom of the situation caused me more than just my job someone needs to answer for this lack of professionalism thank you and have a great day. Mobile # [protected]
Desired outcome: I feel since I was wrongfully terminated and it has devastated me and turned my life upside down that I should be given some sort of severance package to get me through the next few months until I can get on with another company.
Champion AF3276HDE
We purchased this home last spring and it was finally delivered February of this year. We were told that we had a premiere package warranty and any issues found should be reported and would be resolved in a timely manner. We have attempted to make contact multiple times with someone at the warranty department, and keep getting passed over to someone else...

2022 double wide
This is the worst house I have ever purchased. I am a single mom of 2 kids and can't believe the horrible service. I had the first walkthrough done 2 months ago and can not get anyone to come back out to replace my screens on my windows, fix the back door, none of my ceiling fans came with the glass bulbs, my bathroom was not vented for air conditioning even though there is a vent there. I have hot air coming out of the attic area into the house and in this 105 heat it is miserable. I have contacted Brandon Firbaugh multiple times to come finish with no response. Its been 4 months and no one has finished its pathetic. The mobile home placeI bought it through has also tried to contact him along with the company that did the red carpet walkthrough and nothing. I should of went somewhere else and bought a better quality of home.
Desired outcome: Someone to come out and finish the repairs ASAP or I will be contacting my attorney by the end of the week.
Home and service
I am terribly upset with the service and quality of the home we received. It started that we should have had our home in 6 months. It ended up being 1 year before we received our home. Then when bringing the home, the driver wasn't careful and tore up the front of the house. I had said I wanted black appliances. Just before being delivered, I was told they couldn't get the black appliances. So, I said OK to the stainless. Then they told me they couldn't get the French door refrigerator, so I had to take the side by side, which I hate. I have sent in the things that need to be fixed that were sent in over a week ago. I have heard nothing from anyone.
Desired outcome: First, I want the French Door refrigerator that I was originally supposed to get. Second, a stove that works. Third, the items that need fixing need to be fixed soon.
Double Wide Mobile home purchased in 2021
The rook leaks, the counter has fallen, the ceiling is starting to fall in, the floor has a hole in it, the flooring has holes from where the nails are coming through, the master shower floods, the master bath tub leaks, the back door isn't square and so it sticks and is hard to open and close, the AC doesn't work properly, I have contacted the factory several times and they are not responding. They just ignore us.
Desired outcome: I would like everything fixed and any future problems to be dealt with in a timely manner. I understand if you cant get things but at least talk with us and let us know, and fix the ceiling and roof!
I purchased a home through Titan Homes of Candler NC- it’s a champion built home- and has several issues that have not been dealt with. They are rude when you try to get them to talk to you and complete what they started. I’m at my wits end and need an attorney- does anyone know of one in the WNC area? They did walk through and haven’t returned to fix anything- except to nail down the roof after they didn’t do so and there was a leak- I still don’t know if that has caused any damage- their fix was to spray straight bleach on the brown spot on the ceiling- guess what!?!? THat didn’t work. I also have logs all over my yard since they cut down the wrong trees and ended up having to cut down the right ones- then refused to remove stumps and logs! Not my fault they cut the wrong trees. Not fault they didn’t nail the asphalt shingles down and it leaked- they are a sorry company.
Moble home
We purchased A brand new champion mobile home in 2019 within a year and a half part of our roof blew off I called them they said it was an act of God and they wouldn’t cover it then they said that they would go ahead and fill in since I found some other tiles I need it then a year and a half later more of our roof blew off. The bad part is when I purchased this home I had my own land and all the utilities everything was hooked up in a pay for nothing all those permits with them and they still charge me over 100,000 to move it when I asked for a rundown of where all my money went they said that they didn’t have to give me that
Desired outcome: Fix Moble home and give me a itemized list of where my money
Floors
We moved into our new manufactured home on October 2021. The floors throughout the whole house were ruined when they were installed. We have repeatedly contacted Champion homes and the dealer we purchased the home through and they just ignore us. It will be very costly for us to fix as it requires the whole 2100 sq ft house have new flooring laid. They look horrible and we are at our wits end as to how to get them to fix the problem. There is a lot of shoddy workmanship all through the house but the floors is the biggest problem.
Desired outcome: New flooring throughout
Plumbing in this home is blowing out at the distribution joints at the connections.
Every March since 2020 main plex water lines are failing st joint connection's.kitchen sink where connected blew out at fitting, now my floors are all wavy, then fitting at laundry room area under house blew out floors are now wavy, had to replace insulation, and today March 10 2020 guest bathroom connection blew out again. It is clear they used defective fittings.
New home
Champion Home builders of York NE are building sub-standard homes and completely ignoring warranty claims. I have numerous dangerous issues with the NEW home that are being ignored. The dealer: Schroeder All American Homes is also ignoring serious warranty issues. Examples: 1. short circuit wiring that will start fires inside the walls. 2. Basketball size hole in roof sheeting that was shingled over. 3. Guest toilet resting on top vinyl floor covering without OSB substrate. 4. Plumbing damaged in transport making water unusable. DO NOT PURCHASE HOME FROM THESE CROOKS
Worker
Sharon Tamburo works at the champion location in Leesville, La. Sharon is the most unprofessional worker I have ever dealt with. It is very unprofessional that she thinks she can talk to people however she wants. She doesn't need to bring her unprofessionalism to her job. I will be contacting the main coorperate office, since no one in Leesville will do anything about her.

We purchased a new Moble home in 2018 which they but on my property at the end of 2019 within a year and a half the about 13 of the roof blew off then they replaced those, even though they called it a act of god now a few months later a bunch more of out tiles blew off again to which they claimed they were not going to fix do to it being a act of god. Mind you our new home was damaged but all the homes around us even though their much older had no damage, we live in sunny California so it's not a crazy weather area, then the electrical doesn't work right, when we plug in our can opener it shuts off the kitchen electricity, then there were the cracks in the sides and ceiling molding. It was bad enough that they over charged for permits that we already paid. They were rude when we tried to get them to do anything.
Improper exterior door mounting. Cheap underfloor is pressed product.
Inferior construction issues. Home still under 10 year construction warranty. 2017 home had exterior door hung, but interior casing not corrected. Water damage and unable to use master bed/bath. Subcontracted work by Champion to "fix" door, only put new door in old casing. Resulted in further damage. During remediation of damage also found inferior subfloor made of press board. Will not respond.
Desired outcome: Complete repair of improperly hung exterior door, and water damage. Replacement of entire home compressed wood underfloor floor
By the looks of the wood decay and rot this has gone on from the first time the water was turned on.
Roof leaks
We have a Champion home that we purchased new 2 years ago. It has developed a leak in the roof, leaking into one of the bedrooms. This problem will not "heal itself" but will only get worse over time. We have tried contacting the company several times and receive absolutely no response from anyone...crickets. We would dearly love to speak to someone about this problem and to resolve the issue before winter sets in. Please!
Desired outcome: Roof repaired
