Please be advised that we as a family received shocking treatment at abranch where i spent R166.00
Whilst placing my order, my 3 year old daughter asked to use the toilet, i asked the consultant and she said its fine . I looked at my daughter and said its fine she can go with the aunty . The lady then opens the counter for her and lets her through . As they walk in the kitchen . The manager then looks at her and another lady and then she looks at me and say they dont have a toilet .
This is the most shocking service that any retail branch can offend to any customer as we talking about a 3 year old girl . Do we need to emphasise on what colour skin the girl wAs, NO . A child is a child period . .. so lets not go down the racist issue . I wont
What I even found more shocking was that the ladys then started speaking in xhosa which i had no issue with but when she turned to me and said we must go over to kfc I then felt absouletely gutted . I looked at both of them and said that My lunch will come out to R300
At this time my wife looked at me and said she will take my daughter opposite the road rather
I hereby appeal to all people of south africa with kids and know what your kids mean to you to totally abstain fron this neglection and pathetic service . How the hell do you deny child access to a damn toilet . I just found confidence in her to go with a lady that she does not know and then to break her heart from a national franchise can and will not be acceptable .
Dont expect a thank you or kind regards from this as nothing from the service we received comes close to pleasing

As a concerned South African, I want to voice my concern about your recent unapologetic behaviour over the word "soul". It's about time that companies that make their lively hood from killing innocent animals listen to what we have to say.
How can such a huge company that makes millions of rands a year, benefit from suing a small vegan company just because the company has the word soul in its name. Have you sat back and thought about what you are doing.
One possible reasons why a person becomes a vegan is because they become aware of the violence, pain, and barbarism that is associated with consuming animals and animals products. This compassion to animals happen through the understanding that animals and humans both have souls and are the same. It can happen through the understanding that animals also feel pain and hurt equally to humans. So obviously, the word "soul" has an association with being vegan. So it makes sense to call a vegan cafe something with the word soul in it.
I can't understand how you believe that you own the "brand" soul. Are you going to sue God next because the word soul in religious a scripture.
Your trademark of words that's are associated with food in general like "soul food", "hot wings" etc, to me personally shows how your billion rand empire can get what ever it wants.
But remember, the public is not blind. We all see what you are doing.
chicken licken pieces (rock my soul 6...)
Today I bought Rock my Soul 6 pieces chicken in Stanger ( Kwadukuza Mall) but the manager said its some sort of spice or whatever and just denied the obvious facts which everyone can see.
What i would like to know is whats on this meat? Is this what our delicious chicken is made of? Highly disappointed and annoyed by how the store manager handled the whole issue of the meat having maggots.
incorrect order and burnt meat
03/01/2019 i wanted wings was told it out of stock mind you this is from last week then i ordered a 2x lunch meal with coselaw...meat is burnt one meal has chutney the next has colslaw no spoons added, no servetttes everything is a mess...stuff have attitude for days order number 1060, I love chicken licken but after today i dnt feel as excited abt them...

this branch always does not give you the correct amount of hot wings you have ordered.
I ordered the first time - they packed 4 short
I ordered the second time - a big order and there was 3 short
my last order again there was 3 short.
I called the branch and spoke to the Manager, who said, when you come in again, to see him.
which means they are aware of the take away orders being short.
this is totally unacceptable, I order at the Florida branch, and not once was it short.

My experience was on a Friday night 23rd Nov 2018. I convinced my wife to have Chicken Licken instead of the usual KFC.
We ordered 2 burgers and a kids meal at 18:24
My order number was 1100. I left Chicken Licken at 19:05.
My order was called after order number 1110 and their was 2 customers after me that ordered burger and kids meals. There was 1 customer who ordered 2 kids meals and got their meal before me. When I questioned the staff they told me it was coming soon. This happened 3 times. Further more when my number was called the the staff member was looking at the kitchen and called my number instead of seing that I had my ticket out.
Embarrassing and disrespectful is the bottom line.
undercooked chicken
I bought a meal i ate one piece fineshed it as i start to eat the second piece it was undercooked inside as i was dining inn i went back to the till and the manager on duty was there as i explained to her she told me coz i opened the piece trying to eat the meat am wasting her stock like really a store manager. I then ask her her she want me to eat to eat that chicken she then said its ok she will replace that piece indeed she did to my surprise they had to cut the piece coz the piece i returned was opened. Teach your manager good customer skills and proper communication it was not about her replacing the meat but she was soo rude to me

The most disgusting service and most racist manager that I have come across chicken licken must definitely send him for training as he has no management skills and customer service when ever other race shops there and we have queries he always deals with it in a very unprofessional manner I'm not sure if chicken licken doesn't want our money as they now employee people who have no customer service and have no way of treating there customers as if they are loyal...being a regular at chicken licken gateway I would definitely never set foot back in that store again after having such horrible disgusting service.

I would like to complain about the service i got from Chicken licken in Durban Field Street. I bought hotwings snack and was not happy with their wings they looked old, oily not at all appetizing. Ive been a chicken licken customer for a very long time but what i got today was crap. I went back and asked for a manager. I got a very arogant foreigner manager that didnt even care about my complaint. Is this how you treat your customers chicken licken? I am very dissapointed and i would like to get an apology from that Manager. And plz train your staff on customer service.
chicken wings from hatfield (pretoria) and park station (johannesburg)
The one product that I buy from Chicken Licken is the ‘wings' mostly from Hatfield. In most cases, it is evident from the color of the wings that the oil is reused and as a result I stopped buying from there.
However, what has made me complain today is receiving even a worse product from Park Station where we have over 15, 000 employees who are likely to to be customers of Chicken Licken. I find such a health hazard and totally unacceptable. I hope that this will be addressed, immediately, and across the board.

I love chicken licken so much but the 1 here in Qwaqwa Mandela park mall, everyday after 6 pm they ensure that they don't cater non spicy chicken . It's only spicy chicken left n only limited one . I went to buy a burger on friday 21 Sept 2018 n the cashier was trying so hard to convince me not to buy a burger bcos it's gona take too long . I opted for a burger bcos non spicy chicken was finished n they not gona cook it for the day n when I choose something else she still had a problem with it . This for me is poor customer service . I want clarity to know is it chicken licken policy not to cook or have non spicy chicken after 18:00 pm?

I am a huge fan of Chicken Licken but recently came across some issues that has made very reluctant to purchase this one of a kind Chicken! I am into the Soul fire which I feel recently is bland ! Worst is the excessive salt which is a put off ! Twice at Arbour Crossing and recently Chatsworth! I asked a simple question to management " Do you taste the food and ensure its perfect"? No reply? Very dissatisfied customer !;

I bought 12 hot wings and they where very cold and not as spicy and hot as i usually buy them.
I was very disappointed in the food
I bought them at jubilee mall chicken licken at pretoria.
I usually buy 12 or 16 hot wings and thy are always hot and spicy but that day they where very cold.
And also sometimes the service is very slow the cashiers are very mean .
Also we have to wait close to 25 min to get our order

I went to chicken licken at Grobler street on Saturday at 15:00 so the cashier didn't greet us instead she was busy talking to her colleagues at the back, we ordered feed my cravings meal with 2 ice cream cones then asked to get the ice cream while waiting for food and guess what we only got our ice cream when the order was ready I was so bored as they where busy talking and making a lot of noise they didn't even care about us, when we went to sit down the tables where dirty I don't think I'll ever go to chicken licken at Grobler street again.

I went to chicken licken in Hatfield Plaza late in the afternoon. Purchased Rock my Soul Straight and i live about 25 minutes away from the store. It was a take away, so when i arrived i was very disappointed in the quality of the meat, it was very dry, not fresh and it tasted as though it was meat from the previous day that was not even warmed up. I could not travel back to return it because it is far and it will incur me extra charges.

On the 15th July, I drove from my work 144 Braaimficher to Chicken Licken, Shop 1, IHS House, 220 Bram Fischer Dr, Kensington B, Randburg, 2194, 2.2 kelimeters away.
I placed an order (Order#1016) for R301.30, I drove back to work, only to find that my order was missing a Barry Blaze soft drink. I drove back to the shop to collect my drink, and to be reimbursed for my Petrol, and for my time (especially because I was at work). The lady (Peggy Phakathi) and her Manager (Mr Dube) apologized but could not reimburse me for my Petrol and time I took from work (compromised my work). Petrol is high, Tax is high and Jobs are hard to find, unfortunately the apology is recognized and acknowledged but it does not pay for my Petrol and time wasted.

On the 4th i logged a complain on hello peter, for the product that we had bought on the 29th of June at chicken licken in Alberton, i bought for bourie burger and my daughter was poked by a small bone that she found as she was eating the burger, i am very disappointed at your service and at your product, if that bone did not poke her gums, she could have choked from it. this is the first time some thing like this has happened. Every weekend i buy from you restaurant and this is not what i had expected from you.
please call me back as i still have the piece of bone and the proof of purchased on my phone.

Hi there just felt I had to share this story about the lady's at nelspruit chicken licken (plaza) it's not the first time it happened to me .I was there to buy because I needed some thing, I bought lama tablets 12 wings which is cost R54.00
I then asked the lady to please buy 5 chilli sauce and she refused to sell them for me
She told me that I should have played for everything first time when I payed for my order because they don't sell sauces separate
Ok yes I understand that but what really peased me off was that I asked the next customer to please buy them for me and the lady whom they call the manager said its it's not a must that another customer may buy for me and really when I first paid for My order she was in a hurry looking drunk all customers were complaining about her
What is worse is that it's not the first time I experience this bad servise from nelspruit plaza
She told me to call head office and report her bad service
I think they do this because they know that you never take actions on things like this
Everyone was like surprsurprise about this behaviour
I would like to get a feedback about this because even the manager was rude to me when a wanted to report her staff member

This Chicken Licken's trading hours on Sunday are from 10:00 am.
The person who opens the store arrives at 09:55 am.
Then they don't open the doors and the customers are all waiting outside, because this Chicken Licken is suppose to open at 10:00.
The doors only open at 10:30 after a lot of people started to complain.
This is unacceptable!
I don't know who is managing this branch, but someone needs to keep an eye on this people!
meat was too salty that I couldn't even eat it
Hi on sartuday I bought 6 pieces of chicken from chicken licken sunnyside, when I get home the meat was too salty salty salty in a way that I couldnt even finish one piece, my 4 year old son ate n had a problem of a running tummy. Pity I was unable to return the meat to the store cause it was late already : (. I feel so disapointed cause its not the first time getting a kark service from chicken liken, they dont even pay attention to detail. The other day I bought 6 hot wings delux when I got home they packed 2 pieces of chicken... Can you imagine!
