Today (7-20-17) I went into one of the stores one employee was doing her job and a manager said in front of me "yet another useless body hired in". I use to work for the company but never have I heard such a thing. They are very disrespectful to their employees and customers. I went in to get gas and few other items, I pre paid for my gas. Circle k is supposed to give 5 cents off when you pay with cash/ debit. The cashier was to busy talking with her co workers and manager and charged my card as credit, I noticed when I went to pump and I did not get the 5 cent discount. I went back in the store and told the young lady what she did, she told me the register only does credit. Theres no sign saying anything and then she did not try to do anything to try an fix the issue, no apology not anything. This is one of the worst ran stores i've ever been in! The manager was right there and did nothing.

I went to your circle k convenience store (About 1:00 p. M.) at 210 ocean gate drive, bayville, new jersey, 08721 to buy lottery tickets. I went to the lottery machine. I put in $60.00 into the machine because there was only one type of lottery ticket that I wanted which cost $30.00. If this lottery ticket was not there, I would not have put any money into it. After it took my money, I pushed the button the machine made some noise but no lottery tickets came out. It showed that my $60.00 in credit was still there but then there were just lines showing under the ticket on the front of the machine.
So the store had my money but gave me nothing in return. The cashier told me that she was not able to get into the machine either to retrieve my money or the tickets. So she called the owner/manager (Rachael) who apparently was the only one with the keys to come over there and straighten this out. Rachael told catherine that she would not come out and that I should pick another ticket I told her that the $30.00 ticket was the only reason that I put the money into it and that I was not interested in anything else. The owner/manager told the cashier that she would still not come out and (And I am putting this mildly) I would be out $60.00. Although the machine showed the $60.00 credit, this rachael would not allow me to be reimbursed through the cash register. So I called the police to make a report of an attempted theft. I have just returned and now I am also reporting the massive pain and suffering, loss of time and aggravation that this experience has caused me, along with any charges that my lawyers sees fit under these circumstances. Circle k is responsible (To an extent) for the lottery machines in their stores.
This rachael did not care that I (The customer) was going to loose $60.00 as long as she did not have to do anything. I guess that we will see what happens as the public becomes increasingly knowledgeable about your store.

They're two circle k stores on 35Th Ave and Unionhills. This is the one with no gas pumps and is the one that sell liquor!
I have been going to this circke k for almost a decade as i live literally 2 blocks away from it. Within the last 3 months, I have never been so angry and upset from the way I have been treated at that store and today I just had enough with them! I purchased the other day 2 Momentum 1 Liter water bottles. Right now at the store if you buy 2 Momentum 1 Liter water bottle, you get a discount 2 for $2. I paid $2 and a few cents the other day. I just went to the store 10 minutes ago to get the same water because I thought the price was awesome. The display in the fridge was still the same, nothing has been changed. As i am checking out at the register, the lady with glasses working at the moment (i do not know the name but she looks to be 35-50 years of age working register which today is July 18, 2017 at around 8:30 pm) she rang up the two Momentum 1 Liter bottle and told me it was $2.99. I told her it shows 2 for $2 underneath them. She went over to the water and came back and told me now a different lie saying if you buy 2, 1 will be a dollar off. I didn't want to hold up the extremely long line so i said i will just purchase one which i regret because i paid $1.99 for one water when i know in fact i just got cheated out of the sale and just wasted money. I do not understand why the prices never came up on the screen indicating the item and price! Your employee is trying to cheat customers by making false pricing so she can make an extra dollar for that sale. I am a 23 year old male and i can understand why she would try and scam a younger person! Also, do i have to ask for a receipt every time!?! Shouldn't receipts me handed with the purchased items or at least offered!? I do not like confrontation especially over $2 worth of water with a lot of customers waiting. Those employees are the worst employees i have ever seen. Im in disbelief to be honest for the worker to do that. I never had a single problem with that store until recently when you got new workers for that store. I rather buy from circle k then the mobile gas station right across the street but i also rather not get lied too and not get what I paid for.

I am trying to help my daughter find her lost dog in Wiscasset, ME. I know it is hard to prioritize some thing. I asked to hang a lost dog flyer and was told nothing is allowed in the widows and to take it to shaws. I was not asking to post a flyer for a yard sale or something stupid like that. Its a missing fur baby who is scared of everyone and everything. I will let all my friends know how unhelpful this has been. Not trying to be nasty but we need to find this poor dog.

Went to Circle K to purchase sunflower seeds among other things and noticed you have a sale on Bigs sunflower seeds "2 for $3.22" - or something of that nature. I was only going to buy one bag but when i saw the sale i grabbed two bags. After checking out I noticed that I grabbed two different brands and one bag was not the sale items. I asked for an exchange (refund - or however we were able to accomplish getting the sale price). The cashier gave me a refund on my credit card for one bag - then he charged me for another bag. As i was leaving, i realized i still didn't get the sale price so i told cashier we did it wrong. He called someone from the back who was not wearing a name badge. She never greeted me but said something like "what's going on?" I explained the situation to her and she acted like she understood but was huffing a puffing and I said "why are you being rude to me?" she mumbles something about checking the cameras and i said, "please do!" After repeated times of questioning her name - I think she said her name was Melissa.She gave me a cash refund for one of the bags and tried to keep both bags of sunflower seeds. She started yelling at me and wouldn't give me her name. She grabbed the bag of seeds out of my hands and said for me to get out of the store. I grabbed the bag I paid for and walked out. On my way out she yelled at me to "never to come back".She totally embarrassed me in front of the other customers. Please check your cameras to verify everything that took place. If this is your manager - you need to check your hiring procedures because I don't see how someone this rude and unprofessional can be part of your management team.

On June 24th 2017 I quit working at Circle K store #39 which made my last day working for them June 19th 2017. Here it is July 17th 2017 almost a month later and they still have me as an active employee. I have contacted the manager there several times and he was ok about it at first. Our last conversation ended up with me hanging up on him because he was being hateful and rude! Prior to our last conversation I had contacted the HR office for the Midwest stores left a message and received a call back. I told her what was happening that the manager of the store said he put my termination date in but when I called the number for employee verification it said I was still employed there. She suggested that I use "the work number". I told her that it says you have to pay for the information and I don't think I should have to pay for my information that I needed. We talked for a minute or so then she told me to call the manager back and let him know the he needs to contact the people that does his payroll. I did as she said. I called the manager at the store I worked for and told him was the lady from corporate office in HR had said. He said he would check into it and call me back. When he called back he was very hateful and rude and told me that he put my termination in the computer and it said it was waiting approval. Then he rude and told me he put it in the computer and that was all he was doing he was done and it was over. This store is nothing but a joke they fired a good manager who knew what he was doing to put in someone who had no clue what he was doing! He had never been a manager before. Everything was new to him and he admitted that to me before I quit. Thanks for having this website because people need to know things like this!

Was over charged on fuel after using Kroger rewards. Talked to cashier she called manager who was extremely rude after I said that I would talk to corporate. Restrooms was filthy.

Wensday july 12 2017. About 7 to 7:30 pm. I was at the counter paying for my things i wanted to get. I was approached by the other employ that was on shift asking about personal information about something i had asked the other employ a few weeks prior to that day. It doesn't feel right to have been persecuted by both the employees at the counter on camera in the store about a personal matter that should have never been brought up on Circle K property. I spoke to the manager on Thursday the 13th of July about this issue and another issue that I had seen that night too he said he would talk to him well today Saturday the 15th I get called out by one of the employees if you don't like us don't come back on camera at the store in front of other customers is being get a text message from this person that the manager told them that if they wanted to they could trust pass me and not have to say a thing to me which is fine by me but they're still persecuting me over this matter on Circle K property. Went to circle k in twentynine palms at 8:41 p.m baby needed milk for bottle. The store was locked a line of people in heat my baby was crying needed milk. Someone needs to review tapes to see what they were doing inside store. It is the circle located on hwy 62. Im always shopping there spend alot of money there. not receiving a paycheck for my weeks pay.
I've been working for the circle k in Walterboro. sc for a few weeks now, today I didn't get my pay check as I should have for the sixteen hours I worked, I was the only one who didn't get a check, I was told by the accountant for my store that there were know hours showing for me and I needed to get my manager to send in my hours, I called back an was told my work hours were sent in . I then called the pay card my money is supposed to be sent too every Thursday at 5 am . An there were still no funds available.I proceeded to call the accountant back got no answer or return call, an still haven't received a fallback.I decided to call my store manager, an ask if my money should be there she said it should she did not know what happened but she had done everything she was supposed to and if the young man over the store didn't get the money in tonight or if I didn't have the money by tomorrow morning I wouldn't get a check for the week. I would have to wait to my next pay period.Im very hurt an upset, an I understand mistakes happen.However I'm afraid if I don't speak up some how this may happen again an I'm also confused how or what happen an feel it is unfair for me to have to wait to next pay period I done everything I was supposed also I was told not to call the account or person who does payroll back tomorrow if I money didn't come in, because there would be nothing they could do for me. Same thing happened to me today February 11, 2021. I work at Circle K in Little Rock Ar. I work overnight on weekends. Apparently my Mgr forgot to turned in my payroll. So I didn't get paid today. This is not a mistake. As a Mgr you complete payroll for ALL employees... How in the hell you forget 1 employee? Since hired i still doesn't have my credentials to clock in/out. I have spoken with the Mgr about my paycheck. Im currently waiting for a response. This is my second job, is not my primary income. But this is a violation of my labors and wages rights. Ima file a claim with Arkansas Department Labor.

I stopped in to the store earlier the other day to pick up a few necessities on my way to work early in the morning. I over heard the manager who's name tag said "Wes", getting upset with his employee. He swore at them, muttered something under his breath and walked back to his office in a fit of rage. I mentioned it to the employee (who's name i've forgotten) and they mentioned "it happens more frequently than i'd like to admit, I wish he would learn how to treat his employees better!" I have worked in human resources for a while now and NEVER seen this kind of action performed by someone in his position. I would very much like to inform you of this and I do hope someone looks into this.
I will NOT be returning to this location again, and i wish the best for anyone unfortunate enough to work for someone who portrays such a poor and hostile work environment for their employees. I expected much more from such a corporation.

I purchase something from this store 2-3 times a week. Very polite to them and never stir up anything. Today, I stayed in the parking lot to cool down my over heating car. The lady who is constantly rude to me and everyone in line (literally every time she is rude. I've never seen her smile and I've seen her AT LEAST 15 times) she runs to my car which I was kind enough to pull way over so customers on the go and park; she BANGS on my window like I was loading a gun or something to tell me I need to leave she called the cops! She gave me no explanation to why and my daughter is mentally terrified. Has been for the last 3 hours. She thinks the cops are after us for no reason and that's not how I want her seeing a good reason to call officers of the law. Just call them whenever you want someone to move? I was hardly even in the circle k parking lot anymore.

On 7/12 approximately 1:00 pm . I entered the store #2705731 in Barstow, Ca .on Main St . as normal headed to the fountain area fix one xtra-large cup of ice I also filled a second cup half way with sprite and headed over to the ice section to continue to fill my cup with a mixture of flavors . When approaching the counter I was honest about what was in each cup as I usually do . I have to mention I was just there the night before making the same purchase with no issues as I have been for a couple of years now . When I was being rang up the cashier says " So you know, I will have to charge you 10.00 for the cup " I thought she was playing and so did the other patrons in the store in line behind me . I laughed and said " you are joking right, never mind " thinking she was playing a joke she says " No I'm serious, that's what I was told this morning when I came to work " . I'm so disappointed in the the customer service she goes on to argue me down and to suggest I pour it into another cup, I declined the offer . There were no signs stating such craziness let alone the cup I was using was the same cup she was charging me .89 cents for with just ice .if there is a different in price the store should have proper signs up for customers to see and validate . I could tell that everyone in the store could understand my point of being charged 10.00 for a cup is resiculous . No drink in that store costs that much . What disappointments me the most was that the cashier didn't at that point even offer just give me a warning letting me know nor did she offer a better solution after I offered to pay the price of the icee . I'm offereing to pay more than the .89 or the cost of a large icee if the price as different her answer was no ! . I then decided to not take anything at that point . Which we know the cup the drink the lid the straw will in fact cost the company money . Being that I used to work for Circle K and I know what true customer service looks like . I was truly disappointed in the actions of her and her co workers ( who allowed her to sit there and convince me the cup cost 10.00 without offering her assistance in explaining to myself and the rest of the people online behind me ) no team work if this is a valid way of deterring customers from using doubt cups ... epic fail !. Waste will probable go up no one will pay 10 for a cup . After the fact . Thank you, but no thank you . I'll be sure to spread the word .

I always have good service at circle k stores but the circle k that is located at 485 hwy 6 west Oxford Ms 38655 is always very dirty and have rude employees the restrooms are so dirty you can not use them this is just horrible. While I was in the store customers were complaing of how bad the restroom condition were. The employee working today 7/11/17 all he could say was my bad when the restroom dirtiness was brought to his attention. I really hope that you can resolve the problem because I have seen these restrooms in this condition and some times even worst and this location.

I just came from the Aulac NB Circle K/ Irving. My husband bought me a pack of gum while paying for his gas. When he came out and handed it to me I told him it was the wrong kind. I went back in and asked for a refund since they did not have the kind I wanted. The cashier tried to call someone then asked someone for help. Then said she wasn't sure they weren't allowed to do refunds. Then once she figured she could she wanted the debit card to put the $2 back on it. For $2 ! Really.? It was only $2. I left with the gum that I will never chew.Fed up waiting ! Why does a cashier need to call someone to do a refund on something that was bight 5 min earlier? I work in customer service myself, and have never had to put anything back on a debit card. Could be cash or debit unless it was on a credit card. Give the cashiers a little more leeway to do what they need to to keep the customer happy, !

Hello I am Helen and i was working as a employee of the kangaroo. I've been trying to get my job back with the company because after speaking with our store management ect i feel as if i deserve my job back. At the time I was training on a night shift but the associate didn't have a number for the cash register and did a void for the wrong amount for a customer he misunderstood. I was held responsible for this. I really would like my employment back. This was in 2014 and at the time my store had no management there and was very unorganized. I recently filed a complaint with the district manager after an episode at the 501 circle k/no. I pulled in to a pump to get gas and I walked inside because I had a coupon to use. I picked up a drink and paid for it and then was paying for my gas separately. While imputing my code for my coupon a customer says that pump 14 has someone on it. To which I replied yes that would be me. I was then told by the customer that I had to move and the cashier agreed and told me I was going g to have to move my car so they could get gas. I became really upset so not only had I pulled at one of the only open pumps I was then having to move from the pump and waste my gas to pull to another pump to then still have to walk back in and pay and use my coupon. I told the staff that it was [censor]ing ridiculous and I was completely upset. I told the attendant well someone is going to have to walk out and hold a spot for me and she was like ok and walks out with me. But that would have still required me to walk back in and use my coupon and pay for my gas again. This is the store I frequent as it is not even 5 minutes from my house. I then told the girl you know what I don't think I can get gas here and left upset to go to another gas station to get gas. I have never been so belittled and felt so discriminated against when I got gas because it was a white male that I as a white female had to move for and have even been told by other males if it had been me, they would not have made me move. The district manager was suppose to call me back to follow up after his conversation with the employees. I had to call back myself to get some recourse as to what happened. I feel like I have been let down by my whole experience with the circle k/ bp at this location. The district manager blames it on inexperience which is not an exceptable answer if they were too inexperience to provide good customer service then they should not have been left by themselves.
