InvisiCrepe Body Balm
I'm 60 years old and just in this last couple of years my skin has gotten dry and drier... i tried natural moisturizers like coconut oil and Vit-E, was already drinking lots of water but my skin was still dry, like a dessert. Then this last summer noticed my legs where getting creepey crape, Ughhh! A dermatologist recommended Eucerin... and said there was nothing i could do. Well... those words don't set good with me so i persisted in doing my "home work", reading about dry skin and so forth. I eventually ran into the City Beauty site, it was very educational and seemed to be a straight shooter regarding their products. I ordered the Crepe cream... 2 jars, still on my first one and have found that my skin feels so much better, looks better too! I don't have pictures of my legs. Lol. But hopefully will still convey that "This is good stuff"!
Excellent product for re-hydrating your skin
I have always been a little skeptical about creams and lotions that say they will erase my crepe skin lines. I have also done a lot of research on many different lotions and "potions" LOL! But after reading about City Beauty products and what their InvisiCrepe Body Balm contained, and after putting shorts on this summer, I decided I would give this product a try. From the first time I slathered it on my legs, arms, and neck, I knew I was hooked. I had never, ever, felt the kind of silkiness and hydrating feeling from any lotion before. I am now on my second order, and I am definitely HOOKED! I feel like my skin cannot go without the hydration I feel when I apply it, and for many hours after that. My two new favorite products
My sister had been raving about City Lips but I never gave much thought to ordering just a single lip item so I hesitated to check it out. Finally, I went to their site, found City Lips, ordered 3 and got a discount on another item with my purchase so I picked out the Hydro Mask. Omg can I tell you that mask is the single best at-home product I have ever used. It is my go-to birthday present for friends. I gave a box to my Mom and my mil for Mother's Day and they both LOVE it. In the meantime I've been getting emails from CB with all kinds of great home remedies (rice paper masks for brown spots) etc. I learned about the InvisiCrepe Balm in one of their emails and thought I'd give it a try. I'm hooked! I'd lather it on my entire body every day if I could afford it! Will definitely be back for more of it. My bday is coming up so I think I know what I'll be getting :)
Nothing has ever worked. until now! Peeling lips no more!
I can't tell you what a relief it is to be finally free of cracked, peeling, dry and sometimes bleeding lips! Your product is a miracle. I've tried EVERYTHING, even baby butt rash products and nothing has worked. I am happy to say that your product WORKS! I didn't buy it for the plumping but I also get plumping too. But most importantly, I do NOT have dry, cracked, lips anymore! I use it once in the morning before I go to work and once at night. I wake up with soft, smooth, non-peeling lips!

InvisiCrepe Body Balm
I don't like leaving reviews, but I love this product. Being a few months off 50, you always worry about wrinkles, thin saggy skin and a dull complexion etc. I have been using the InvisiCrepe Body Balm for approximately a month now. I have noticed my neck looks better, my skin is smoother, firmer and plumper. I have also been using it on my hands and arms. They look so much better, they do still have a way to go, but already the results are great.
I've been using a number of City Beauty products since the end of January this year, and all I can say is that I'm hooked. Yes, a true City Beauty junkie.
OK the products and shipping etc can become costly, but the quality and amount of product needed to use, completely counter balances it out. I've been using the same jar of InvisiCrepe Body Balm at least twice a day for about four to five weeks. The jar looks like I've hardly made a dent in it. You can't do better than that.!
Miracle In A Jar
I admit it. When I bought this cream, I didn't expect it to work and was a bonafide skeptic. At forty-four years old, I am no stranger to anti-wrinkle creams, firming lotions, and magic serums all promising to turn back the clock and restore skin to a more youthful appearance, all a let down. Until now.
First thing noticed was the thick creamy texture, which allows a small amount to go a long way, accompanied by a fabulously light floral scent. I began using it as part of my nightly skin routine, and immediately loved how soft it left my skin. My hope was to tighten and firm the crepey area starting to form just under my chin, and give me a more youthful jawline.
With little hope, I applied the cream faithfully over the next few weeks. Much to my delight, within that timeframe, I saw drastically noticeable results directly on the areas I had hoped to correct.

Amazing feeling skin
Love Love Love this cream i have never felt my skin look or feel this good even in my younger days. I have super sensitive skin and react to most skin care products i am so thankful to have found city beauty now my skin is silky soft and smells fantastic. I live in the uk and although my order was subject to extra cost due to customs charges this product after trying it is so worth it. I have read some of the negative reviews and i have to say this was not the case for me when i received my order and opened the beautiful looking pot i would happily give this as a gift to my friends and family if only to stop them from using mine can not imagine why any one would want to send back my skin feels fab for 24 hours plus unlike other creams i've tried which have been very disappointing in the past that until i found this product i stopped wasting my money and thought i would have to put up with dry old looking skin. Being in the beauty industry my whole life, I was very skeptical about another lip plumping product! As I fast approach my 60's yikes, my lips are getting smaller! Just like many women I try any product that I believe will make me look better, which makes me feel better, so I'm happier. So, of course I tried City Beauty when I read their claims. My big GREAT surprise came when after trying it for less than a week, it does what they say it will do. Even my doctor said he had to recheck his chart to see my age because he couldn't believe I was that age. He told me that whatever I'm doing to keep on doing it. People are amazed when I till them how old I am. Believe me when I tell you that City Beauty made a big difference to how I look and feel. I purchased and use Invisicrape for my arms and neck. I use Lip Matte and now my lipstick does not bleed because I don't have the little lip lines now. I'm going to try the other City Beauty products because of the good results I have received from the items I've already purchased. I have had women at the grocery store ask me what I use that I don't have wrinkles on my neck. I now need to work on my hands because the thin skin, brown spots and blue veins give my real age away.
City Lips is the one product I can't live without!
City Lips makes a tremendous difference in the look and feel of my lips. It is not going to smooth your skin as I have read that one women expected. It does smooth and plump lips. I am 65 years old and when I see the thin, dry, wrinkled lips of women my age I say a quiet thank you for City Lips. I use it every night - I literally can't go to sleep without it! I use a thin coat on my lips from time to time during the day. In the morning or When there is a special occasion, I leave City Lips on until just before I put on my lipstick. Voila! Smooth fuller lips with gorgeous smooth lipstick application. My daughters and daughter-in-law are hooked too. All four of us have been daily City Lips users for several years. I keep one in every purse, one beside my bed and one on my makeup table. You can't just use it once and get the full benefit! A regular routine of nightly use, and some daytime use (when it's convenient) will truly make a difference. I don't like the colored ones because I don't think gooey lip gloss is attractive on anyone. For the last several years I have been unable to wear any sort of colored lip product. The result of a few days use was severely chapped lips (many times resulting in bleeding). I have tried many balms, steroid cremes from my dermatologist, and recently, a super-expensive scrub and balm set from a high end company (La$&@). Nothing healed my lips. I've been using the City Beauty plumping lip gloss for about a month now and my lips are completely healed. In the beginning, it was the only thing I used on my lips. I am able to use a little bit of color now but not everyday. The City product is applied at least three times a day and I am throughly pleased. As for the plumping claim, I can't really say. It wasn't what I was monitoring for.

I have never had lip filler and city lips is all that i have ever used to enhance my lips. I love this lip gloss!
I love this lip gloss! I don't usually wear lip gloss but I love this product so much, I apply it several times a day. When I first got it, I was applying it only at night (feeling somewhat silly wearing lip gloss to bed) but my lips felt so great in the morning, I've started wearing it all day. I've made several purchases (taking advantage of the BOGO deal) and keep a tube with me at all times. I know I will not have any chapped lips this winter. My next step will be to venture into the colors (my first choice of Nude was not exactly right for me but I wear it at home/at night when color isn't an issue). I'm excited to find a shade that works for my complexion...both summer and winter tones. Thank you City Beauty for a great product.

I honestly think it's the best thing that happened to me in a long time! I have been struggling with eczema on my lips for about 6 years. You would not believe how many lip balm, cream, prescribed balm with cortisone and other over the counter products I have tried over the years. Nothing ever gave me my hydrated lips back like the Citylips gloss did! I can finally smile without fear of ending up with cracked bleeding lips! My lips are now smooth as can be, have gained some natural color back and they are fuller than before! The first time I wore it to go to work, my colleague instantly noticed my lips were plumped! I am so obsessed with city lips! I was so skeptical and I kept getting ads for it so finally I tried it and I will never go without it. After using it for the first 2 weeks I actually ordered a bogo because I don't ever want to run out. I have always had very dry chapped lips and nothing had worked in the past. I've been using an overnight lip mask that helped a lot but wasn't good for day time and was really more like a balm. I could never really wear lipstick or gloss because my chapped lips looked awful. Enter city lips, it has truly transformed my lips. They are so soft and full. It truly works, I'm obsessed. (You will not achieve the "fake lips" injection look through this but it will moisturize and fill in your lips for a natural lip fullness that is even better)

I made my purchase after reading the great reviews and seeing the picture results. I'm about one month in and my lips have become smoother and plumper. The consistency is thick but rich and smooth all in one. I choose to lather my lips before bed to get the maximum affect. Also, until we can stop wearing masks, I'll gladly use the product this way. Now, I reach for my City Lips tube automatically - Fantastic experience thus far. I was skeptical. But purchased Sun Diego with a discount code and absolutely love the color and the way it makes my lips feel. With another discount code, I purchased the clear to use every day since I did not want to have a color on all the time (I work from home), but wanted something on my lips to keep moist and smooth. I love the way it makes my lips feel, soft, smooth and not sticky. When I am not wearing it, my lips feel dry. I do not see a "drastic" plumping in my lips, but they do seem a little bit fuller than without the City lips. The only issue I have is buying these without a discount code, they are a little pricey. Shipping is fast for me, I live in So California, so I do not have wait too long for it. Looking forward to purchasing more, with a discount code of course.

I was very skeptical because I have used lip moisturizers, lip oil, creams...you name it I have tried it. I wish I had taken before and after photos. This stuff works! I put it on in the morning, wait a few minutes before putting on lipstick, and my lips are moist all day. I have not had to bite, chew, reapply, exfoliate my lips in 2 months...and that is saying something because I live in a dry climate. Cracked lips, like cracked cuticles, are an all winter long thing here. My lips are moisturized and seem fuller, the lines barely noticeable anymore. So glad I tried before getting injections. It is a little sticky, not going to lie, but not annoying. It does not sting, does not taste bad, does not seem to wear off. I just bought 2 more tubes, if that tells you anything. Shipped quickly. I recommend it.

First of all I was pleased at the fast shipping and was able to try it out within a week. I must say that I DO see a difference. Especially my lower lip, fuller and the surprising thing that wasn't mentioned is that it makes my lips look like they have color even with no lipstick. After waiting the two or three minutes suggested after applying City Lips, I used some lip liner and was going to put lipstick on and when I looked in mirror it looked as if I had already put lipstick on. My sister noticed that and also that my lips looked fuller. She has ordered some for herself. I also like the way it moisturizes. I am a happy consumer. Thank you.

To all of you out there! I am from Australia and trusted this company by placing 1 order.
Not only was I charged 40% more than the advertised offer, City Beauty continued to withdraw regular amounts from my credit card by creating bogus orders that I had never requested and charging my credit card for unauthorised purchases costing me hundreds of dollars!
City Beauty tricks you when they send you the receipt where they sneaky include 3 jars per month in your receipt when you have never agreed to ordering further THREE JARS PER MONTH... Totally unrequested! Who or why would anyone agree to order such quantities! I never agreed to CityBeauty to any subscription that would enable them to charge my credit card on an ongoing basis without my authority! I just made ONE purchase!
Do not make any online purchases from this company, do not give them your credit card details... if you have already placed an order ensure to check your account and watch out for unauthorised charges. Unauthorised charges equate to fraudulent activity! I am very disappointed and furious as it creates so much distrust! Affecting many other honest online businesses! MAKE THEM STOP! I requested immediate refund... will post if I get refunded! URGGGGGG!

Duplicitous marketing practices. This company is absolutely trying to trick customers into purchasing way more than intended. On 2/15 I purchased 2 tubes of lip plumper (order number #***) and was then offered to purchase a 3rd tube through offer (***) City Lips - 3 Tubes, Add-On Only Offer $75.00 X 1 = $75.00 for a total of $82.13. I was charged for the order of 2 tubes (order #*** $72.27), and then for a separate order of 3 tubes (order #*** or a total of $82.13). The way the offer was presented was that I was purchasing 2 tubes and getting the third at a discounted price. This seemed like a good deal. In no way had I ever intended to order 5 tubes (one order of 2 tubes and a SEPARATE order of 3 tubes), nor was there any indication on their end that this would happen. I reached out immediately after being charged for both offers and they did not respond until minutes (coincidentally) after both orders had shipped (yet well beyond their 72 hour deadline for response.) As I read their reviews, I realize that I am certainly not the only person being taken in by their duplicitous marketing efforts and will not be the last. They send condescending emails pointing out that perhaps their customer is not smart enough to understand their wily promotions. I am an ordained minister. I didn't get here through lack of knowledge, but I can spot a rat when I see it.

I ordered 2 lipglosses from CityBeauty, a pop offered a 3rd gloss, I accepted the third gloss. However I have been charged for 6 lip glosses. 2 identical orders. I did not order twice. This seems to be an ongoing issue with this company and it seems no attempt to rectify or change. Simply rely on people to just just accept it and pay rather than make waves or the hassle of putting a complaint in.

TD bank gives me a provisional credit until my dispute is resolved and when it's resolved they take the provisional credit back which leaves me without my money. They told me I can't get money twice when I'm not. When the merchant returns the funds TD Bank has their money back and I'm whole again but instead of that happening TD Bank goes back in my account and takes the credit back therefore I'm still losing my money.
I received an email from City Beauty of an offer for a free bottle of UpLift Firming Serum when I made a purchase. The actual verbiage reads, "Uplifting Firming Serum is one of our most powerful and potent formulas .. but I was only able to secure a small batch of this best seller to give to you, so I wouldn't wait to secure your order." However, the offer did not appear upon checkout. I reached out to the customer service department on 9/1. I still had not heard from anyone, so I reached out again on 9/12. I was told at that time that "we don't have any promotions available at the moment." I responded by telling the customer service rep that this tactic is clearly a bait and switch, and that I would have never placed my initial order if I knew I was being duped. So of course I want to return the product. No one wants to do business with *** I understand the return fee *** with the customer, but wouldn't the right thing be to not hold loyal

I thought I was purchasing products totaling *** on 8/21 from their confusing website. A pop-up ad appeared after the online order and it appeared I could get two more boxes of their hydromask for *** In my mind, it appeared that this would replace the *** and there would be one charge of *** In a matter of minutes I saw my order was now TWO orders and I was being charged over *** Within minutes, I emailed to stop the order. I also called customer service in the morning and talked to *** He told me the order was an "add on" and couldn't be stopped, however, I would have options once I received the products. Now customer service is authorizing me return rights, however, are saying I need to return at my expense and suggest a tracking number to insure they receive the product. This is a very frustrating and costly mistake and one that seems to have appeared on your radar far too many times. Deceptive, is only one word that would describe city beauty's business practices. Customer service is lacking. I attempted to stop the order within minutes of realizing my mistake and it has taken hours to try to correct it. The company should be scrutinized as to their business practices and deceptive ads. My order numbers were: RAXXXXXXX and RAXXXXXXX paid with a MasterCard.

I ordered the City Beauty Lip Plumping gloss on 7/12. Upon checkout, it prompted or asked me if I wanted to add a second gloss for $50. Of course I took this to mean it would add one more gloss to my previous gloss that I had purchased for around $40 so I thought that was a good deal to get two for $50. Upon checking out I realized my card had been charged for the original purchase of $40 AND then two more lip glosses for $50. I have read other complaints here about the exact same thing happening to them. It seems purposefully deceiving. I did reach out to customer service, but nothing was done about it. Be careful when checking out. I wish I had read these review first. They need to change/fix this. Also when you click the link included in the emails, the website is inactive.
Completely misleading. Thought I ordered 2 jars but was sent and charged for 4. When I tried contacting the company, the link given in their email was not working. The product also gave me very bad acne.

City beauty charged me for a product that I never received.I called them today to find out where my product was, and they told me I received it already! They charge my account! But I never ordered from this company I never got the product. They told me they were going to send me another one and then again charge my credit card! I have the same complaint as the previous person. I ordered the City Beauty Lip Plumping Gloss Clear on 8/23. During checkout, there were prompts to add a second gloss at a reduced price. I had never ordered from this company before and thought it was a promotional offer for new customers, so I clicked. Little did I know that what happened was a new order for two glosses and I was charged for! And I only found out I had been charged after the order was placed as there was no option for a final review of the shopping cart. I immediately emailed customer service and asked explained that the second order was in error and requested that it be canceled. They said they could not do so. So, I wound up with extra product that I didn't know I had ordered and didn't even know if it would work. Deceitful advertising and business practices. Be careful - I'm out $50.00.

Ordered back in March. Says it was shipped on April 1st . Never received it. I have written cust ser over 6 times and called 3 . I get nothing! They said it had shipped and sent a tracking # . When I clicked it , it said it was in Memphis TN waiting on a label for over a month. But when I went to the actua USPS website (not the email City Beauty sent). It had never arrived. I really just want ALL MY MONEY BACK PLEASE. I've never written the ComplaintsBoard.com. So thank you for offering this service. This is the last email I sent them which includes my order #'s : t's been way over a month and I have not received my orders. It says they were shipped as of 04/01 . Below are the order #'s : *** I was hoping you could help me locate them . I understand it may take longer with all that is going on in the world. I've checked the tracking # you've provided in the email it says its waiting for a label in Memphis TN for a month. On 03/28 I ordered the Line Blurring Wrinkle Filler for *** with a 60-Day money back guarantee, "No questions asked". At checkout, an offer popped up to save money with increased number of product so I chose the option for Three at *** each) thinking the order for One at *** would be overridden/cancelled. I ended up with 4 products: 1 at regular price & 3 at discounted price, total with tax, *** When I contacted customer service about returning product, I received an email encouraging me to use the product for the full 60 day warranty period...I then found out that the empty or full product container needs to be returned, at customer cost, to get a refund. NO WHERE or at NO TIME was I informed that empty containers would need to be shipped back to get the refund on the 60-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. Who saves empty product containers? So now, after being encouraged to give the product a try and throwing away empty containers, I'm not able to get any refund.
I just recently purchased a product online from City Beauty.com. Haven't received the product yet. Initially I was supposed to buy 1 bottle and on my way for checking out they offered a promotion for three bottles at a much lower price from *** to *** They charged me 4 bottles instead 3 bottles with promotion and 1 at regular price. I've called customer service and asked me to cancel that 4th bottle at regular price and said that they couldn't do anything about it until i receive my order. If I return the bottle i will still pay the return cost. Basically i'm paying delivering cost twice. This will be my first and last time i purchase from them
Like many of these other complaints, I was confused by the upsell trick this company does. I agreed to get a 2nd gloss in a deal, and then was asked about an add-on for 3 glosses.. ended up with 5! I messaged messaged company immediately, but by the time they responded a few days later they said it was too late to cancel. I have the product now and find it only works for a few minutes and is not the product for me. Now as I understand, they expect you to pay overseas shipping and will refund the difference MINUS their shipping cost regardless of if you bought under a free shipping deal!? I just want a full refund. Am happy to return the products if need be.
I called the company's customer service today about an order I did not place. I made sure when I placed the initial order that I did Not check off the box for their subscription offer. When I stated this, the csr said that I had been set up on a subscription anyway! I requested for it to be stopped and for a refund. I was willing to return the product. She told me that I had to open the box and put their RA# inside with all kinds of information, the order #, my address (already on their slip inside), my email, reason for returning and then pay for shipping back and I would get a refund 1-3 days after they received it. I asked why I have to pay for the return of something I did not order and wait until they got it back to reimburse me for the product amount *** The time and expense of shipping back items I did not order almost isn't worth the effort especially since I am not well and do not like going in public during these times. I find the company to be untrustworthy and uncaring.

Company is illegally charging a Tax only used in UK with no legal Government registration details. I live in the UK and City Beauty Chattsworth have charged me a UK tax called VAT. When my order comes to the UK I am charged VAT by HM Customs and Excise because of this un lawful tax charge I cancelled my order and got refunded. The company stated that new tax laws state they can charge this tax from February onwards - no they can't. This tax is only applicable in the UK and you must be registered in the UK with a VAT registration number to be able to charge this tax. This tax is not allowed in any other country except the UK, any company charging VAT has to comply with UK VAT laws and VAT registration laws. City Beauty charged me $54 in VAT I have never been charged any tax over the last 20 months of orders because the company is exporting goods to the UK . Every order from this company/ and USA goes through HM Customs and all VAT has to be paid for by the recipients before any orders can be delivered to their address. City Beauty is acting illegally by charging and taking payment for a tax that they should not, they are not registered in the UK therefore can't charge this tax. If you ate not able to deal with this issue I will hand it over to HM Customs and Excise and let them deal with it. I am happy to provide you with any further information you may require and I have attached proof of the tax collection with screenshots and legal information from HM Customs from their website.

Blistering deceptive upsell practice which resulted in being charged for an add-on order, instead of better pricing on the initial item selected. I was in the midst of the ordering process for 1 jar of sculpting cream for $49 when I was presented with an offer to purchase 2 jars at a better per jar price for $33 each. I accepted the better deal, instead. Unbeknownst to me and behind the scenes, the $49 purchase had already been transacted without my final approval. After purchasing the better deal for $66, I checked my in box and saw that the email receipt for $49 was already sitting in my inbox, followed a minute later by the $66 purchase. I was LIVID! the ordering process does not give the customer the opportunity to review the final order before placing it. The $66 upsell clearly IMPLIES that two jars for a better price will be shipped, instead of the initially selected item. No reasonable person would believe otherwise.
After I ordered a lip gloss from this company, they began to take *** from PayPal account each month for four months. They acknowledged that I did not sign up for a subscription. I only received a lip gloss for the *** +. Money they took from me. I did not notice this error until this week because I just ended lengthy cancer treatment. They returned the June withdrawal of *** but have refused to return the rest of the money which amounts to *** That is a lot of money for me as I live on a teacher's pension. I purchased Citybeauty dark spot elimination to remove dark spots from my face. I used for 30 days and during this time developed terrible acne that I'm still recovering from. Product contains some terrible chemicals that cause skin irritation. I reached out with this complaint to the provider and was told that I need to ship the remaining product back and pay for my own return shipping which is very expensive if you ship from Canada. I want my full refund and not paying for my return.

Sent and invoiced for more product than I thought I was ordering AS with the most recent complainant, I had a recent experience with this company whereby I ordered and paid for way more pots of product than I thought due to pop up "deal" offers that I thought I had declined. Turns out I ended up being invoiced for three lots of products - one for *** and a third for the last two for deal pots I had declined (or so I thought due to the way these pop ups are set up) I thought I had declined but ended up paying for anyway. I immediately asked for a refund and to cancel the whole order as I had been ripped off and received a reply that it was too late and I could send them back for a refund. I live in NZ and it's uneconomical to do this. I sent the email asking for a cancellation 5 minutes after being invoiced for the product (on 28 January) - knowing it could not have already been dispatched! I didn't receive a response until 30 January that said the orders had been dispatched. (case ***) So in a nutshell I didn't get a cancellation or refund and am now in the position where I had to pay for product (at a cost in total well over NZD350) that I mostly didn't ask for and it's not economical for me to return to USA from NZ. I believe this is a ploy for this company to be able to keep the money due to no returning of the product, as is the delay in replying to my complaint in order for the dispatch to take place.

I immediately sent email cancelling which was ignored for 4 days then told it was too late to cancel I watched a video and purchased a $49 jar of cream and put my credit card details in. A series of prompts came up and i accidently hit one which added 2 more jars of same cream. Then on the final page i was informed I was billed for 6 products - 3 of which i didnt even know about. In the UK you always have the opportunity to review any final order - it is illegal to add products to a sale after you've provided your credit card details and the consumer always has the right to cancel. I got straight onto City Beauty to cancel. They took 2 days to respond and then said it was too late - the items were being shipped. I then had tracking notices that said the items would be shipped in 6 days, then 48 hours . I sent another email asking to be treated ethically and asking for the shipping to stop so that i could have my refund. The customer service person said it was too late but i could return the items if not satisfied by calling a premium rate international number. Because i am in the UK i will have to pay customs charges on the goods which i then would have to send back and that assumes that i can do so without the international premium call rates and assuming that the refund will be made. I originally wanted to order 3 tubes of the gloss for what seemed like a good deal of $87, I mean there was a female doctor in their add. Must be legit. After I put in all of my information and credit card # I get all of these other ads. Saying to add 6 more to your order. Then another add for colored gloss, then wrinkle cream and so on. I thought I skipped those adds and once was all said and done I was charged me for 3 separate orders for over $400 total! I was in shock! Emails came in immediately and I called to stop the order at 6am NJ time. They're not open. Called back later, couldn't get through. Prompts are ridiculous! Giving up I decided to wait until the order came in to return it. No paperwork inside the box! Thank goodness I saved the emails! Online return policy said to email the company. Email was returned undeliverable. Tried again, same result. I called to get proper procedures on returning only to be told I had to either wait 60days to return (and I wouldn't get all of my money back) or I return it at my cost with a deduction of 30% for restocking fee! Seriously? A restocking fee? Which is NOT ON THEIR SITE! Customer service was rude and not very helpful. I was hung up on and when I called back I got someone else, explained my dilemma again only to be cut off and told "I'm sorry this is our policy." And again hung up on. Frustrated beyond belief, left without any help and out $400! I'd like to return the products and get my money back. All of it. No 30% restocking fee either!

I emailed within 6 hours to cancel a secondary order that should never have been placed. I was contacted 5 days later and told it had already shipped. I placed placed an order late in the evening on 5/7. While finalizing the purchase of one tube of clear gloss, several "last-minute" deals popped up, one of which was a "buy two for $50" deal on the lipgloss. The way it was worded made it seem as though it was a deal to include the original purchase for a total of two tubes, not to be an additional add-on of two more tubes onto the original purchase. I finalized the order and then was surprised to have two orders come through my e-mail and there were, of course, two charges to my account, one for $35 and one for $50. I realized what happened in the early hours of the morning on 5/8 and sent an e-mail to customer service requesting that the additional order (#***) be cancelled. I still wanted to keep the original order of $35 for one (#***), just not the add-on order of $50 for two (#***). I received an automatic e-mail back saying someone would respond in 2-3 business days. I received an e-mail from *** on 5/13 (five days later) with an assigned case number # of *** saying the order had already shipped and could not be cancelled. I responded that I cancelled on 5/8 and that it wasn't my fault it took them 5 days to read and respond to my e-mail. I am not going through the hassle of trying to mail back and receive a refund for a product that was ordered and cancelled within hours. He responded that they were "...a little behind on emails..." and that it may have been too late even at the point I sent the original e-mail requesting cancellation.

The company is practicing ethically questionable sales and billing practices that leaves the consumer with multiple unintended transactions. I am an avid and experienced online shopper and digital customer acquisition executive, who has never experienced a sales and billing process that was this ethically questionable. Initially I started an order of City Lips, but prior to authorizing the PayPal transaction, I changed my mind. A reminder was sent to me, that suggested I continue to complete my, but I did not complete. Not knowing that the order was processed, I decided to place a new order with the company, in the end I had three orders processed, the initial 2 tubes for the order that was not completed, the second order of 3 tubes, and an add on of 3 colour tubes. In total I 8 tubes of City Lips that arrives in the mail, and I have verified that they have been processed as three separate payments. I have started using the product, and it does seem to be working well, I wish the company had faith in the product and the fact the their customers would complete repeat purchases, rather than participating in checkout scams that leave the customer questioning the integrity of the company. I could have become a loyal and repeat customer to the company, but at this point I am highly shocked that they would force a customer into multiple transactions, and hidden border and shipping fees. Now there is a chance that the executives of the company are not familiar with how the website sales are being handled and they are purely rating performance on immediate sales. But it will not belong before the initial sales performance drops of and they are left with a brand that consumers do not trust, even if the product is good.

Upon receiving my order, I noticed that the package contained 4 lip glosses which was odd to me and then a few days later I received another package in the mail with 4 more lip glosses. At that time I checked my bank account and noticed I was charged twice for my transaction so I immediately reached out to customer service. The representative advised me that there was nothing they could to to correct the mistake because it is a special offer and "is added to the order as a thank you" and proceeded to say it was my fault that it happened and I would need to pay the shipping fee to return the items. I don't see how this is considered a thank you if you have to purchase the additional items that I didn't want in the first place. I feel it was a scam on their part. I proceeded to try explaining to them I never wanted two orders nor placed two orders and they kept repeating the same thing. I also advised them that I received two orders(each containing of 4 tubes of lip gloss) when it was only buy 1 get 1 free. In one of the email responses they were trying to confirm I was ordering 4 more tubes which I never said! I am unhappy with how they did not resolve this issue even after I explained to them the issue several times and I never selected to add any additional offers when purchasing I am very thorough when I order online to avoid errors. The last email I sent them I never received a reply.

I clicked the purchase 6 jars thinking it would add 3 to my ONE ORDER (being 6 in total) Instead it charged me for 3 jars in one order and created a second order for 6 jars. I emailed 6 times immediately within minutes after the orders and over the 24 hours to cancel the order, instead they shipped my orders 2 days later, when I kept emailing City Beauty customer service they kept giving me excuses saying they didn't receive the emails. Seems many other had the same issues. I received my order and tried the sculpting cream. My face has blistered in areas, I am raw red, swollen, under my lips the area is so enflamed, my face is in pain, I couldn't sleep last night as its burning and had to cancel work today, my FACE IS BURNT! This company entraps you with unwanted add-one to orders. Even contacting them immediately to cancel they say it's already processed and they can't do I wanted to order one jar of cream. At check-out numerous add-on offers kept popping up. I kept declining, screen wouldn't change to proceed with checkout of just the 1 thing I wanted. Finally after numerous tries I got the screen to change so I could proceed to pay for the one item I ordered. A few minutes later I received 2 confirmation emails. One for the product I ordered and then another for an add-on for *** for another product I didn't want or ordered. I immediately contacted by phone and email. The person I spoke to told me my order was already processed and ready to be shipped. She said she would send me a refund authorization form I'd need to send along with the product I wanted to return once I received it. The next day I received an email from customer support saying my order was in the process of shipping and couldn't be cancelled but they could offer me a 40%refund if I didn't want to have to go thru the process of sending everything back. Meanwhile, I still had not received any emails that my order had indeed been shipped. From reading other complaints I know I am not alone. It appears the website is set up in a way that it somehow entrap customers adding on unwanted items that the customer did not order. Buyer beware. You may want to order one item but you will end up being charged and sent things you didn't want. They know it is a procedure to send things back- the cost of postage, perhaps having to re-package the items or re-tape the box because you need to add the refund authorization, plus a trip to the post office which during the Covid pandemic is not easy or safe for some individuals, such as myself to make. My guess is they are counting on people to not want to go through the work of doing a return this ending up with extra $$ in their pockets and customers taking the loss. At this point I do not want ANY of my order. I want a full refund because I do not like the shady business practices of this company. Buyer beware of City Beauty.

Order date 10/25 received when I returned home 11/02 *** (wave) I wanted to try the products after watching a video they produce. I went shopping for specific products. I want to be able to refer family to use it once the results are visible. At first everything seemed positive and a value to refer to others. Then the Problems began... ...City Beauty offer a discounted price with auto shipments. They offer refund if the product is unsatisfactory within 60 days.I appreciate all this as good business practice, in gaining customer trust and customer retention. I placed my order for three different products, I expected one of each and another would come in the auto shipment a month later. This gives me 60 days to see if it is wonderfully beneficial for me or if I would use the refund offer because it was not... as was advertised. THEN BOOM At check out I had "pop-ups" that made the offer better. I clicked that. I expected a full disclosure of price at the end of my shopping cart purchase. But I didn't get one. That was a red flag but I figured an invoice would come when the order was received, oddly though there was not any prices stated on invoices when I opened the box. This is deception and absolutely unexpected from a legit respected business. Inside the box was more product than is possible to use in the allotted 60 day trial time. Honestly I am very concerned and afraid about what my credit card will reflect when that bill come in. So far I like the items I ordered, but not seeing results nor was I expecting to in just this 3 days I have been using it. But, Goodness Rakes! What is City Beauty thinking with using the bait and switch technique? I just purchased what I thought was 1 bottle. They asked three times for an up sale for 3 bottles. I never saw my ticket so assumed this was my original bottle. February 8th, 2022 I ordered invisicrepe body balm from city beauty for 57.19 . I clicked to pay with PayPal. When I clicked back to the city beauty site I was offered 2 jars for 74.20. I accepted the offer. I again clicked to pay with PayPal. When I clicked back to the city beauty site I was offered 3 jars for 104.94. I accepted the offer. City beauty put 3 charges on my PayPal account. I asked PayPal to remove the 57 .19 charge and the 74.20 charge. They said city beauty would have to remove the charges. I have contacted city beauty but they have not responded. I don't believe they will. I want my money refunded.

My story is similar if not identical to at least several complaints on the ComplaintsBoard.com website about City Beauty. I am an elderly pensioner in my eighties. When about to place an order for 1 jar of InvisiCrepe a pop up asked me if I wanted to order 2 jars for $66 (I believe) with free shipping to which I agreed. They ended up charging me for 3 jars in two separate orders with shipping on the 1 jar order. I did not want the 3 jars. I believe I was slightly overcharged ($70 + GST not $66) for the two jars. The order came to over $200 Australian dollars which as a pensioner I cannot afford. On 1st February when I found out that they charged me for two orders I emailed a reply to each emailed order (there were separate emails for each order, timed 59 seconds apart) requesting that the orders be cancelled and a full refund made. At the same time I also sent an email reply requesting cancellation of both orders to their marketing agent who had sent a promotional email. They responded with an email titled "City Beauty ***". They said "Although we are unable to cancel your order at this time, we always encourage our customers to take advantage of our 60-day Money Back Guarantee." On 4th February I replied "... Your company's ordering process is NOT clear and transparent. At check out I was offered the 2 for 1 deal. I was made to believe I was being offered the 2 for 1 deal INSTEAD of the single jar, NOT BOTH. Immediately prior to finalisation of the orders I was NOT shown the total of my order to show that I was buying 3 jars. I am a ... pensioner and cannot afford what I was charged for the orders so I would NOT have gone ahead with the orders. From various review websites I have read, and the complaints you yourself would have dealt with, you and your company know this has been a repeat complaint from customers yet your company has NOT changed its order and promotional process. That makes your company look unscrupulous to me so I have NO faith that the quality of its products are any better than its ordering and promotional behaviour. That is why I want to cancel the order(s) with a FULL REFUND ... ..." The credit card transactions were still pending at this stage. My bank cancelled my credit card because of the dubious billing practices and because I reported that some complaints I read claimed that after dealing with City Beauty they experienced fraudulent credit card activity. They replied "I sincerely apologize that the special deals offered to you after you had placed your order were a bit off-putting. ... I can understand that as a first-time customer this can be very unpleasant, especially if there are numerous deals being offered consecutively. ... "... since the items have shipped we cannot cancel them at this point, however you can still return them once delivered, and then once we get the items back the refunds will be issued ..." ... .. by our 60-day Money Back Guarantee .." That is unacceptable to me as I have to pay for return shipping and wait a long time to "maybe" get my money back. The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
9th September. I purchased a set of hand creme for $77.00. They also sent me another single one for $55.00 which I didn't order. Why would I order one for 55.00 and the double set is $77.00. I contacted them and they said send it back and they will credit my account and I pay for the postage. Why should I be out of pocket and waste my valuable time when I didn't order the single creme. This is the second time they have done this to me
i just placed an order for their lip plumper. I ordered 1 but at check out they offered two for 50.00 so i opted for that. Once i fully checked out it had 2 invoices, 1 for the original 1 plumper and then another for 2 plumpers. I was mislead to think i was just getting an extra plumper for 50, i was not expecting to pay for 3. I would like to be reimbursed for the 2 plumpers for 50.00! I expect a response.
