textures and tones, Clairol 5G light golden brown hair dye
Yesterday i purchased 2 of your hair dyes and today i used one of them which is the one i am complaining about. I have never used any of your products before therefore i had high expectations for the outcome of said product. I have black curly hair and just wanted some highlights so i spent 4 and a half hours sectioning out my thick hair into a highlight cap and then applied your product which said to leave it on for 30 minutes and i left it on for 40 because i noticed the color was not taking nor was it lifting the color of my hair and now that it is all rinsed out and still partially wet i’ve noticed your hair dye specifically has caused me to shed a lot of hair and did not give me the affect shown on the box in any context and i am very disappointed in this as i was very very excited to be using this hair dye and trying something new on my hair. Clairol Root Touch Up
I walked into Walgreen’s at 95 Kellogg Road, New Hartford, NY on March 25, 2023 at approximately 3:00 p.m. to purchase Clairol Root Touch Up for my use. When I got to the cash register, I presented my electronic coupon, and I was told that not all hair colors were covered by the coupon. Only select colors were could be purchased with coupons. This is discriminatory! You either discount all the colors or none of the colors! I have used Clairol products since I was 14, and this is the first time I have encountered such discrimination! How dare you do this! Is the next step to discriminate by age, gender, race or any other criteria that offers one price to some people and denies the same price to others? If this happens to me again, I will NEVER purchase another Clairol product as long as I live. Furthermore, I am spreading the word about this incident to everyone I know, male and female!

Advance grey coverage semi permanent in espresso, also natural instinct color line
For some reason you use ppd/ptd in a semi permanent formula which is not typical or necessary for that matter. I have had a reaction to the semi permanent color at this point had to pay to see a doc and get meds. And your other line claims to be vegan, amd it also contains ptd. False advertising. You know, allergic reactions can be life threatening right?

Natural instincts hair dye
Hello
I'm disappointed and upset after using your natural instincts hair dye. I have used your hair dye before but it was my first time using this particular one. I had heard it was kinder for my scalp, and after 40 years of dying my hair I thought I need to be a bit more careful. I followed every instruction to the letter but it never covered any of my grey. I'm on benefits so £6.99 is a lot of money to me. I have been dying my hair for a long time and know it's nothing I did.

I just purchased your nice and easy 7R. I have never had this issue before and I bought this in a hurry. I usually use professional dye I have a beautician license. I have a show in front of an audience tomorrow. This dye had barely enough to do my hair I don't have but just to the shoulders length hair. For your sake this dye better look good and even. Or I will look ridiculous in front of a room full of people.

Clairol Frost and Tip
I recently purchased a box of Clairol Frost and Tip which I have used for many years. Today, the plastic overlay that is the last step in the colouring process was unusable. It would not open. I even tried cutting a little strip at the edge so it could open, but no. It was a one-layer plastic overlay that was completely useless. Good thing I have a plastic shower cap that I ended up resorting to so that I could finish the process of colouring (highlighting) my hair. This is the 2nd time I have had an issue with your product. First one was there was a hole in the powder envelope which caused a huge mess in the bag I carried it home in, in the box where the product is, then at home on my bathroom counter. Needless to say I was able to get a replacement at that time but the current issue was a little too far along so had to think of something quick in order to preserve the colouring process.

Frost and tip
Was super excited to do streaks in my hair today. Went to the store and purchased the clairol frost and tip kit. The box has a pictuterof the cap and hook on the front of the box, which is why i purchased it. While to my dismay when i opened the box there is no cap or hook. Come to find out your company does not include it in the box. Very displeased with this since the box shows the cap and hook and never said it had to be purchased seperate. Now i will not be doing my hair today. I dont care if items are not included but i feel as thou it should be mentioned or dont put picture on the box of items that are not included. I feel like ive been tricked into this purchase. Sincerely very unhappy customer
Replacement requested
Always have used the age defy luminous "5G" Color amd never had a problem. I purchased my last one on [protected] at a Wal-Mart a. d the plastic bottle was cracked. I had nothing else to use so had to throw it away amd had to buy a new one. I feel I should receive a replacement asap for this! I've been long time customer, but very disappointed!

Nice n' easy demi-permanent
I have used the Clairol Nice n' Easy Demi-Permanent hair dye a couple times before and was really happy with the colour and the duration of the colour in my hair. However I used this same product nearly four months ago and my hair is still pitch-black. The reason I use this dye is so that I can revert back to my hair's original colour and so that I don't develop regions of contrasting colour in my hair as it grows out as I really dislike how this looks. Unfortunately this is now happening as my natural colour grows back from the roots.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and compensation so that I am able to buy other semi-permanent hair dye products to cover the damage this product has done until my hair has grown it out

None of my grey hair was covered up. it looks exactly the same as it did an hour ago. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Will never use a product from this company again.

Nice'neasy
As a customer of Clairol Nice'neasy for over eleven years, i ran into my first problem with this product. I bought color 8G and applied this hair colorer. No oxidation took place! As a user, I know that the color selected should show up when applying to hair. There was no color except whitish jell. Waited 25 minutes and still no color.
Please send me a coupon for another box of Nice'neasy.

Nice n easy demi-permanent hair dye shade black 83
i recently brought this hair dye and used it on monday (5/12/22). i’ve used this dye before with no significant reaction. i patch tested this behind my ear with no reaction.
by tuesday, i had a rash on my scalp, forehead, neck and ears. by wednesday i had significant swelling to my forehead, eyes, nose and back of my neck.
i visited my local accident and emergency twice - on wednesday night and thursday night due to this reaction as they were concerned that i was going into anaphylaxis, and was given infra-muscular medications. this whole scenario has been extremely stressful and i’ve had to take time off work to recover - not to mention all the medication i must take now as this reaction is still ongoing.
i’m receiving steroids and anti-histamines now, with little effect at present.
i am unsure if i brought a weird batch or something but this needs to be rectified.

Incorrect colour result
Today 7/11/22 I bought hair dye (chemist ware house).
My hair colour changed to black & not brunette as pic on box shows.
I’m unhappy with the product & frustrated that my hair turne so dark.
I had brown hair on top & bottom was a chocolate colour.
I’d appreciate to have the issue resolved, with a refund or better still a colour that can convert my hair to brunette.
Otherwise easy product to use.

Nice and easy blue black
I don't know what you've done to this product but it is not good any longer. On a regular basis, I color treat my hair with Nice and Easy/color / Blue Black. The last three times I used the product it has taken at least 5 washes to get the color to stop running off of the hair. It makes for a very embarrassing intimate moment with your loved one if you plan on a candlelight bath, the water turns black! This product has never behaved this way before and I am not using it any differently. I do my roots, let stand for recommended time then apply the rest as directions clearly state. I rinse well (until there is no color remaining to run) and use the conditioner for the next 3 washes. All washes after the first still turn shampoo black, towels black, baths black; once it's finished doing this it is no longer the deep blue-black it used to produce, but more of a tar color brown in the roots and dull black for the rest, with absolutely no blue highlights as it always had. This has always been my go-to product and I have always been happy with the color and the long-lasting of that color and deep rich blue highlights. I believe you have changed the product in some way as I have not changed the way I have used the product for years! I have not changed the water I use or the temperature I wash my hair or the products I use in it. There is something odd going on once it dries the first time it will continue to run each wash afterward black again. Please return this product back to its initial chemisrty or I will have to look for another color by another maker. The last box I purchased was posted on the box Made in Mexico, is this new?
Desired outcome: I would like the product fixed. A refund but not have all the receipts. Please fix the product or recall bad batches. If a manufacturing mistake, I would be happy to use Nice n Easy provided you send coupons to replace my costs.
Natural instinct color and dark brown
Hey so I got the natural instinct color and dark brown because I did not want to go back to black and I wanted my hair brown I wanted it noticeably brown I dyed my hair with this and it is jet black like the blackest black you can get I’m hoping it’ll fade into a brown but I am so disappointed right now I had black on my life and then I went to a copper red and wanted to go back to brown and I’m back at shed black and jet black it’s not some thing you can really get out your hair I’m hoping at least there’s truth in the fact that it’ll wash out with the 28 shampoo so hopefully it’ll fade within the next washes but I’m so sad
Desired outcome: I don’t know is there a lighter dye I should buy and if there’s some conditioning products or something my hair is so dry after the dye normally when I use the dyes they’re quite moisturizing especially with that conditioner
I have used black N n E for years, one thing you need to know is; You can not dye brown over black to change to lighten your hair. You need to grow black out or go have it bleached and then colored your desired shade. Hope this helps : ) from someone who has been coloring their hair black for years.

Your product has damaged my hair. My hair has broken and fallen out a lot. Please see to my issue ASAP. This is my hair. I look like i’m sick or on drugs. I use to have thick and alot of hair, now I have nothing. I have photos showing proof I used your product and before and after picture of me using your product. Look at the images and you look for yourself does that look okay.
10a baby blonde nice’neasy creme
I bought 2 boxes of Baby Blonde from Wilkinson in Boscombe Dorset! When I used one of the boxes my hair came out white blonde which as I’ve got older is my natural colour, it should have been blonder not the same colour I started out with! I stayed that colour for at least a month and then used the second box…the same thing happened! I have been using nice’neasy for many years with different colours as my hair changed but I have never been so dissatisfied.. if I use a hair dye I expect to be a darker or lighter than my natural colour, it’s as if the colour didn’t work at all… please get back to me with this because I will be using a different company unless I get an answer as to why…

Clairol nice n easy creme 5 medium brown
I was putting this product t my hair the evening before a very important interview only to find the gloves in the Box were faulty My hands were ruined although my hair was very nice.. I was thoroughly embarrassed at the interview.

I always buy the Clairol nice and easy # 9 blonde but this time I didn't get any gloves and I had already open it to start to color my hair this isn't the first time this has happen maybe I say twice. What going on with that plus usually they also give u a plastic wrap to put around your hair too. I had to use my own shower cap. Colour doesn't match box
The colour I chose turned my hair black it was meant to be medium brown mahogany and now it won't budge, In the first picture you can see the outcome and the second the colour I chose with a little bit of the dye colour on the box lid, it clearly doesn't match which I know sometimes they don't but this has ruined my hair and unless I use bleach to strip it I'm stuck with it.
Desired outcome: Reimbursed would be good as I tend to mix my dyes but I brout 2 boxes, I have been dying my own hair for 25 years never had this problem
Bought the shade 6RB which states is a LIGHT reddish brown. The result is at least 2 shades darker and now I have darker hair which I didn’t want.
My only option is now having to fork out ridiculous amounts of money to pay a hairdresser to fix it.
Never ever had this result from other brands.
Not happy, I bought 2 boxes as I have long hair and now I’m stuck with a colour I don’t want.
