I would like to cancel my subscription to Classmates.com and can't find out how. It is not very good when you call the number you are given and can't talk to a person.

I was charged from a third party that I did not give you guys authorization for. They have charged me twice for the last three months their company is Privacy Matters 123. I am going to report you guys to BetterBusinessBureau . I feel violated and I do not trust your company. I am trying to unsubscribe and its been a hassle trying to unsubscribe to you. Its messed up that you do not have a direct number to call you and speak to someone. I hope the Business of Bureau does something.-Rachael Willis

I want to cancel my Gold membership as of 09/24/09 as the others I have been getting a run around all morning I have requested to reset my password, but keep getting the same page with no reset instructions, I called, and as stated by others, the lines are to busy, and to go online, so here I am, now I know why they are so many callers, they want to cancel thier memberships, because of the BS james goble

I have been tring to cancel my gold membership all morning, I have got nothing but a sore butt and a lot of run around.After reading the other complaints, I can see why the phones are tied up.Ijust want to cancel for no other reason than I just don't utilize the page that often. .

I want my account cancelled. I have been charged a $15.00 fee annd then another fee of $39.00 appeared this morning. Please cancel the account and refund both charges to Mastercard ending in 0183. I expect this to be done in an expedient maner!

Same complaint in fact I was triple billed in two billings, one was double the other. The charges were 7 days apart. My bank says there is not too much I can do about those charges. I cancelled my VISA though so they hopefully can't get anymore out of my account.

I have tried to cancel for months now with no success. If it is necessary to change my credit card number, I will do so, even tho it will mean a mess on my end, just so I can get rid of your unscrupless business practices. From the huge number of complaints that I see, I am not the only unhappy camper. Please cancel my account and return the $15.00 fee taken out of my bank account during the past month. I was reviewing my credit card statement for October and found an unauthorized charge for $39.00 posted from Classmates.com. I have not requested any services from this company, nor agreed to anything and in no way signed up for anything. I want this charge removed immediately from my card. I have contacted American Express concerning this matter and they have started an investigation of this matter.

i, gary blanck, want to cancel my membership ad of prior billing date. i called a year ago to kill this thing with no results-- NOW, i get billed again--- what the hell do i have to do to get this THING off of my credit card!?... i tried calling, but with the same results--- NO ONE THERE- WRONG TIME OF THE DAY-EITHER STOP THIS NOW, OR I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION!

I did not sign up for this Classmates, I live in Mexico and this caused my checking account to be overdrawn. I had to send money by Western Union to my daughter, so far this overdrawn problem has cost me one hundred twenty dollars. I am living on Social Security and cannot afford this type of problem. Please help me resolve this matter ASAP.

I was shocked to find a Classmates charge on my bank register of $39.00 on 1/25/2010. This charge was not authorized by me and I received no email from Classmates asking me if I wanted to renew my membership. The most embarrassing result of this is that it caused an overdraft on my bank account and now I owe them a fee.

I have read the other complaints about unauthorized charges and have to wonder what is going on. Classmates is getting a bad name which is a shame as I think it started out as a good way to contact classmates.

Please cancel my membership and I will expect to see a refund of $39.00 in my bank checking register within 3-5 business days and an email verifying that this will occur.

classmates.com billed my credit card 39.00 and said i selected auto renewal. i never selected anything. they will not refund my money. i hope someone sees the scam here and straightened them out this is deception and fraud at it's lowest! i have seen several hundred pages on the same issue. i am trying to spread the word they should be put out of business!

I cannot believe this company has been getting away with this for so long! I thought it was just me! Shame on anyone that works for classmates! I cancelled my member ship in 2007 and have been charged ever since! (why would i pay for something i dont use?) Also, talked to customer service last year, she told me to change from automatic to manual billing...did that...and what a shock...a new 39 dollar charge! (thousands of people have said that they changed to manual...and then it was magically changed back to automatic!) BOTTOM LINE...CANCEL EVERYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY...DO NOT TRUST THEM, UNFORTUNATLY YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR CARD, AND GET A NEW ONE. THEY STOP AT NOTHING, AND EVEN AFTER THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS...NOTHING. PLEASE ALSO IGNORE THE FOLKS THAT TELL YOU TO DISPUTE THIS WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD. CLASSMATES FIGHTS IT AND WINS. i signed up with classmates.com in 2009 and i only used this site once i was unable to find anyone i couldn't locate a single person from my high school middle school are any other school that i have ever attended. this is SUCH A SCAM if you have not signed up for this con't sign up. i signed up for a one time thing and they have charged my account 4 times since then 39.00. you can never get in contact with anyone by phone and the website is rediciulous and it puts you through the run around also about your money and i think companys like this should be closed down and everyone that works in them that knows whats going on in that company and continue to do it should be placed in jail. because with todays economy no one has money to through away when they just feel like taking money out of people account just because they feel like it. i am a single mother with two kids thats not employeed and for people to go into account made me have a overdraft fee and that was the money to pay my light bill with. you all need to replace my money because now because you keep going into my account and i keep getting over drafts now my lights are off. GIVE ME BACK MY DAMN MONEY AND LEAVE MY ACCOUNT ALONG OR I WILL SUE THE ### OUT OF YOUR ###!

They just took $39 from my credit card account and said that I had checked "auto-renew" when I joined with the $20 membership a year ago. They didn't warn me in advance. Classmates won't refund my money and told me I have one more year of membership now. And I don't want it. They have refused to refund my money after complaining to them that they have data leaking into the search engines even though we must login to their site. Classmates has told me they are a public site and the search engines can cache data, etc.
My credit card company also won't refund my money saying that I was on auto-renew even though I don't use Classmates and I don't want to continue with them or pay.

The best thing all of us can do is complain to the BBB, FTC and the Attorney General in Washington.

This company renewed my membership without notification. I never agreed to an automatic renewal. Upon pulling up MY copy of the agreement, nowhere is an automatic renewal even mentioned. I do not wish to continue any relationship with this flim-flam company. Please pro-rate, return the 11 months of payments that I don't want. My page on the site was torn down online by this company on July 9th. So I, an Arizona teacher looking at a pay cut, need that money returned to my account now. I never agreed to any renewal

I just got charged on a credit card by Classmates when I did not authorize it. I will have to have a new number issued to stop the billing. They offer a trial membership and then triple the charge and keep on billing you. This is the biggest ripoff and my CC company says they get numberous complaints on classmates everyday.
