CNA National Timely payment

I took my vehicle to Brakes Plus (BP) to have them diagnose an issue I had with my vehicle I had bought about 1 month ago. BP stated I needed a new water pump and thermostat. BP contacted CNA National Warranty Corporation and received authorization to do the work. When I called to find out if my vehicle was ready BP stated the CNA wasn't able to pay them for 5 days because they are backed up. This meant BP wasn't going to release my vehicle until payment was made. I called CNA and spoke with a representative that said there was nothing he could do. He said I could pay BP and CNA would mail me a check in approximately 20 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor. When the rep came back on the line he said the supervisor was not going to talk to me because he would tell me the same thing. I am very frustrated with this service and situation. I don't know who else to contact. I feel helpless. I would not recommend using this company, their customer service is not very good.

Desired outcome: Pay what you said you would sooner than 5 days.

CNA National CNA extended warranty (mechanical advantage care+plus coverage)

I purchased this warranty for a 2019 Honda Odyssey..my rear AC blend door actuator broke so AC only blows out heat... after taking it to the dealership and having it checked the service representative told me that they contacted CNA and was told that the blend door actuator was not covered under warranty.. this is unbelievable even the service representative was shocked.. literally every thing to do with the AC was covered ( even ducts) but the blend door actuator isn't. What a joke of a company.

My vehicle was totaled for not at fault accident cna paid nothing towards the payout on the total loss and refuses to cancel contract. So no car and no refund.. great company.. NOT.. oh and when I called to speak with agent was hung up on.. great customer service.. gap is a waste of money thru this company. your better off going thru your own car insurance that you use to get gap..39.99 for 72 months Lease is alot of money and I know I'm not the only one so if you do the math that's how they stay in business ripping off consumer's..

Desired outcome: Refund balance from date car was paid off

CNA National GAP

Car was declared a total loss as of 12/30/2020 started my claim with CNA on 1/22/2021. UI have still not received a payment. My lender has not received one, as I have already paid the remaining balance on my loan my lender advise me t just cancel my contract. Every time I call to get an update I am told the payment has been sent out. Does it really take over a month? I feel like I am being ripped off. They have not paid anything. What is the point of getting the coverage if they refuse to actually help.

Desired outcome: Want a refund of un used premium

CNA National Gap insurance

I am very disappointed in the this company. I would not recommend this to anyone. We have been trying to get our gap insurance claim resolved for more than a 45 days. Now our credit is being hit and late charges being charged due to this companies lack of response. They also change what they need every time we respond and send them something. This has been a colossal waste of time for my family. We paid for the service and they refuse to follow through. Now I will be paying the $1, 000 left on the loan to preserve my credit.

CNA National gap insurance coverage

Claim # 8323040
Joseph Alba [protected]
Purchased at East Coast Honda, Myrtle Beach, SC
Chevy Cruze
I keep getting the runaround on this claim. I have sent all the required documents to you, emailed documents, and had the dealership and bank contact you. The payoff amount was $13, 089.38. Carolina Trust accepted $10, 480.90. Why hasn't your company paid off the remainder? I have been patient but now I'm extremely frustrated! Please have someone look at this claim and process it.

Thank you.
Joseph Alba

CNA National robo call

This company keeps calling me over and over again after I've repeatedly asked them to remove my number. They call me from a new number Everytime as well. I ask them to take my number out of their system then they hang up on me. They call me 2 to 3 times a day every day of the week, how do I make them stop? They are driving me insane, I'm not far from it already.

I had torn ligaments in my right foot, frozen should, and C4 to C6 bulging in my vertebrae. CNA keeps denying coverage delaying my benefits. I'm going thru foreclosure right now. Valley Forge Insurance hired a lawyer, [censored], delaying and changing all my statements during the deposition.

CNA National car

I purchased a vehicle from us byrider, of course financed thru cnac. I purchased the car on Saturday evening, so of course I couldn't put it on my insurance until Monday morning. Monday morning rolls around, 8 am I go straight to my insurance have the car added to my policy, they fax the info to cnac finance and jd byrider like they requested. Now this should have terminated their insurance, and the fees for it. NOT SO... I checked by bank statement, they have now charged me TWICE for their insurance, and are refusing to refund my money. Stating they will apply it to my next payment?!? BULL, I will call a lawyer first!

CNA National Contract Not Honored

After our vehicle was totaled in an accident we are having serious issues with the GAP Insurance sold to us when we purchased a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 from Tom Ahl on May 30. We were told this insurance would pay off anything we owed to the lender above what our primary insurance company did not pay AND they would cover our deductible up to $1, 000. The agreement states: “In consideration of the purchase price paid, Dealer/Creditor agrees that in the event of the Total Loss of the Vehicle, and subject to all the terms and conditions of this Addendum, Dealer/Creditor will waive your liability for the difference between the Net Finance Contract Payoff as of the Date of Loss and the Actual Cash Value; Dealer/Creditor will also waive Your Primary Automobile Insurance Company deductible not to exceed $1, 000 . . .”

I spoke to a Mr. Bill Bergey, Jr. at CNA National on August 19, after we received a settlement notice from them in the mail stating it was determined there was no outstanding balance; basically stating our bank would not be receiving any payment from them. When I first spoke to Mr. Bergey on the phone, he REPEATEDLY said they would not be paying anything to our lender. Only when I asked to see the calculations on how they determined this settlement did he say he needed to take a look at the figures again and he needed documentation from our primary insurance company showing their breakdown of what they paid to us and to the lender and showing how they took our $500 deductible.

Our primary insurance company sent this information to Mr. Bergey at CNA National. The same day, later that afternoon, I received a phone call back from Mr. Bergey stating that he took a look at the calculations again and now they were only going to pay $250.81 to our lender. I asked to see a written document showing how these calculations were arrived at and I was told I had to send a letter requesting this to their claims department, that he could not release this information. I submitted this letter the same day via fax and also sent a hard copy by mail.

I received a phone call today from a representative of CNA National’s claims department, I did not get his name, but he called from [protected] at 2:13 p.m. He wanted to go over the calculations with me on the phone. I stated I submitted a letter requesting this information in writing and he said he had the letter right there in front of him. He kept saying it was only an internal document in Excel, Excel spreadsheets. He told me he could not send me this documentation, but he could go over it on the phone. This is not very professional to me and I feel they are engaging in unlawful business practices. They are also maintaining they only owe our lender $250.81, but again, will not send the documentation showing the calculations as to how they arrived at this figure.

Do not purchase GAP insurance from any dealership from CNA National. They are obviously engaging in business practices a company on the up-and-up would not engage in.

I paid $600.00 extra to Lund Cadillac for Gap Insurance on a 2004 Cadillac. The Co., Cna National Warranty Co., of Scottsdale Az. accepted the money, and sent me a small booklet, showing the car had Gap Insurance in effect. The car was totalled Sept 7th, 2005, in a transmission related malfunction, which was admitted by Cadillac with their specific...
