coinbase credit card activation
I added a visa to my account today and at the end it asked if I wanted to deposit $5 or a custom amt for btc. on that card. There wasn't an option to select any other. I selected custom and entered 20. It withdrew the funds from an account that did not have enough money and now I'm being charged an extra $35 plus a depleted account. I need to know how you'll fix this.
My name is Traci Blair [protected].
They didnt, please remove this now though.
vault service & secondary email
I am really frustrated with the lack of help or support.
The secondary email on one my vault account is no longer active, it was a work email and I no longer work at the company effective July 12. I have since created another vault and would like to transfer my Bitcoin to that Vault, if I cannot do that then I will transfer to my wallet.
I have sent 7 help desk requests till date, no help, no reply, no follow up, nothing.
This leaves me very frustrated.
They asked me to create a new vault and then create another ticket to transfer the funds...I did my part...still waiting on them
me too... i lost access to my secondary vault email and my bitcoin stuck there with no help, no reply no solution... COINBASE IS SUCH A VERY BAD APPS with NO REAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
I signed up with Coinbase a few weeks ago.
I must say that the experience with that exchange is more than unsatisfactory! The limits imposed make it virtually impossible to make any gains in this booming crypto currency market. I since have have started trading with liviacoins.com, which has a speedy transaction process, thus allowing me to make trades commensurate with the level of funding I desire.
If you want to deal in pennies or get scammed, stay with Coinbase.
Hi I need some assistance because I am new to Bitcoin investing.
Prior to the fork, I had 0.4 bitcoins in my wallet.
It was not mined or anything. But simply purchased and stored in my wallet.
After the fork, it appears that bitcoin owners are supposed to receive the equivalence in bitcoin cash (BCH).
Does that mean that I am entitled for 0.4 BCH.
Coinbase currently does not support bitcoin cash (BCH).
It is expected to start supporting this from January 2018.
Will the BCH automatically come to my account? Please assist.
Have you got any resolution? I am in the same boat as you! Used my alumni email address and they just discontinued service for those, so no access means i cant click the email link to access my account, i know the password and everything else.
fund withdrawal
Simple - Withdrew to a SEPA approved account. Email from coinbase saying the funds would arrive 5th August 2017. After a couple of days of no arrival I chased them. Eventually got a reply after messaging them several times on Twitter. Eventually replied to the original support log through the site apologising that they have system issues. Didn't hear again until the 14th (today) and their message:
"Just checking in to let you know that this issue is still unresolved. Rest assured your funds are secure, and we are working hard to rectify this situation as soon as possible.
Thank you for your continued patience, and sorry for any inconvenience caused."
Still no further to knowing when my funds will arrive.
Very poor, needs regulating.
I'm having a similar problem receiving a fund withdrawal and not received a reply to my email after 5 days. Very frustrating.
Have you resolved this with Coinbase yet?
coinbase have stolen thousands of euros from me.
This company cannot be trusted. We placed a trace on funds of 4460.92 euros, showing the funds were received by you on 3rd aug. Here we are on the 8th and still no funds on my account, no response or reply. I hope you have enjoyed using my money because I have not. You have cost me both money, time and trust. And your arrogance with your non-existent customer service. Non existent customer service when you have 7.4m customers is a disgrace. No replies to urgent emails for weeks. Just your utter rubbish computer generated robot text that is pointless. I'm absolutely furious and have been conned. I want my money back n o w! Etoro were having personal conversations on email queries within an hour of me contacting them. Do you even have staff? People need to know this I think, don't you.
NOTHING. A big fat nothing from Coinbase after taking my money (Euros4600) nearly a week ago. I think this company is about to go bump. Don't forget the 'pay no less than 6 euro into an Estonian bank account' and the number (because that's all it is) appears on their Ponzi screen. Folks, it's not real. I want my money back. Not once have you not bothered to reply, answer phones, answer emails, answer 'live' chat. You're a disgrace to the industry and greedy arrogant [censor].
bitcoins not received nor refunded
Hi, I completed an online purchase for bitcoins on 4.5.7, I purchased £153.39 worth of bitcoins. This transaction was duplicated due to my pc crashing just as they were being purchased, therefore one payment of £153.39 and another payment of £153.89 were taken out of my bank account.
I have requested since May for one of these payments to be returned to me but so far can get no satisfaction with your staff.
I am out of pocket by £153.89, and £153.39, as the items I purchased have not been received either.
I am pleading for you to return one of these payments as I currently am over £300 GBP out of pocket. I understand that you probably cannot refund both as it is probably down to the company I tried purchasing from to refund one amount, but am tired of asking for this to be resolved. I am going to be left with no alternative but to post my experience global for all to see as I cannot get any response from your company
thousands of dollars not credited to my account
After couple of test with the company, they got my trust but once I decided to buy a bigger amount, the system says they money will be credited "today" and it's been like this for 2 months.
Customer service? Phone number? Twitter? Reddit? I've tried everything. They don't reply.
How can I sue this company?
What kind of lawyer do I need?
What website could help me?
cannot submit id
I am temporarily living out of the country and my Texas drivers license expired last year.
I will renew my Texas drivers license when I return to the US.
However, in the meantime, I have a US address, US Phone number, US Bank accounts, US Brokerage account, and US voter registration. I file and pay US income tax every year.
Your web site will not let me Withdraw the money from my Wallet or will not let me buy Bitcoin until I upload ID, and your web site will not let me upload ID.
It is a catch 22 and besides I do not want to change my country info as I will be returning to the US in the future.
How do I resolve this so I can resume trading crypto currencies.

did not receive money from selling litecoin
On 4th July I sold 1 litecoin (42, 37 eur) and withdrawed the funds from selling to my account but I did not receive the funds yet, even though almost 20days have passed. On 5th july I received email from coinbase confirming my withdrawal saying :
"Hi Marko Mechar,
A withdrawal of €39.85 ( + €0.15 banking fee) has been initiated.
€39.85 will arrive in your bank account by July 08, 2017."
In the meantime I changed my username on coinbase to Marko Mecar.
I also sent a complaint directly to coinbase on 12th july but did not receive any answer (ref.no. of complaint #1872375).
Kind regards,
Marko Mecar
non response to my request to deposit/withdraw my funds
I have been trying for more than two weeks to get a decent response to my request to link my bank account to coinbase so I can deposit funds as well as withdraw them but I am not getting any response.
Coinbase only allows me to deposit using my credit card but there is no facility to withdraw any profits I make or to close my account.
I have made several enquiries but cannot get to any human staff on the website.
call [protected] they helped with my bitcoins issue too
paid but btc not credited to my account
On the 2nd of June 2017 I sent a considerable amount to Coinbase but since then the only information I see on my account is "enter today". It's been like that since 9th of June.
No answer from customer service. I received a message on facebook saying I should wait up to 15 days to get an answer. Never happened.
Who could help me with this? A lawyer?
Me too. They have 4600 euros of mine and I can't speak to ANYONE
request a refund
I have several times sent the emails to inform that I changed the email address and password following a problem that I had since June 14 to access my old account from my mobile phone, iPad, and my laptop is since the night June 26 (2-Step Verification keeps saying code is invalid from Google Authenticator). I have no problem to activate the check in 2 step with the other application, except Coinbase.
I asked Coinbase to transfer my funds from my old account to the new account. I have been waiting their response for 3 weeks.
I created my Coinbase account on May 29, 2017 and I bought Bitcoin and Ethereum for 21, 000 euros.
- My reference number to transfert funds at the Coinbase : CBAEURLQNPNZFO.
Please, can you intervene with Coinbase of my problem ?
I do not know how to attach copies of emails
Thanks in advance

I sent money to my euro account with coinbase and it has not appeared.
I did a International transfer to my Euro account held with Coinbase and the money has not been credited to my account.
I have sent numerous messages and support tickets but get no reply.
I know they are having support problems but my bank has confirmed that it has been received my Coinbase bank so there is no excuse for it not being credited to my account.
I know I am not the only one suffering this problem.
Is the dispute between you and the company still going? I believe I could help you. One of my clients had experienced a similar situation and we managed to help him get his funds back. Feel free to email me at Sofia.adam@westwoodofe.com
Hi I have the same issue, some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kevin.Heatley@sky.com
Exactly the same thing has happened to me. There is no customer support, and I don't think they even care (otherwise they would have been helping us on here wouldn't they)! I think it's disgusting and greedy and I hope they go under. I'm UK based, and right from the start they were NOT honest about fees (in fact there is no clear fee mention on the website or when you sign up. None of the main menus show it. You have to search in google to find anything. Then secondly, after allowing me to put funds in, I was told AFTER THE FACT that they could no longer pay in or out in pounds sterling. They have EUROS 4600 and have had for nearly a week. No reply, no money, no NOTHING.
Can I ask whether your funds ever appeared.
Does anybody have a phone number (for ANYONE) at Coinable...?
Thanks
i called [protected] they helped me in sorting out my issue
I also have the same issue. I asked my bank to step in but they said the transfer were authorized and the finished my case.
The only thing I can do now is to go to San Francisco to solve this issue in person.

account locked with funds
My account was locked with funds for 2 weeks now because I uploaded my ID that was from Hawaii but I reside in the state of Maryland. I have sent multiple emails and still not response. "Although we strive to provide continuous access to Coinbase services, Coinbase has indefinitely suspended its business in Hawaii and we regret that we cannot currently support services in Hawaii. You can find a further explanation of our account suspension policy here. We hope to restore service in Hawaii soon, so please check back again"
trying to complete my account
6th June 2017
This site is designed by a bunch of [censor].
1. They ask for a phone number. They don't specify MOBILE phone, but when they try to send you a text you realise that's what they meant.
2. They insist on you uploading your ID by means of a webcam. I finally got this to work. I've even got an email from them telling me my ID was successfully uploaded, but every time I go on the site they ask me to upload it again.
3. They have a two-stage verification routine. After entering your username and password they text you a code to enter. There is a checkbox saying 'do not ask for a code for the next 30 days on this computer' but if you check it it makes no difference.
4. They seem a little unclear on which order things should be done. They need you to nominate a credit/debit card or bank account, apparently before you upload your ID, but then they change their mind and say you must upload your ID first.
5. Even if you've given them your credit card details AND uploaded your ID they suffer from amnesia and keep asking you to do them both again.
6. I'm seriously wondering if anyone has ever managed to buy bitcoins using this site. Maybe their business is actually identify theft.
coinbase refuses to transfer my fund out.
I have made repeated attempts to access my coinbase account in order to transfer out and liquidate my account. I have had no success. I have emailed many many many times and have complied with all their process requests, including forwarding two picture id's, my drivers license and va id. I am still unable to access my account and have asked repeatedly for coinbase to transfer out my funds and close my account. I suspect this my be a huge scam. I am still trying.
I have the same problem. were you able to get you coins out eventually? thank you.
locked account
Coinbase: on [protected]:14, "sorry, account temporarily disabled. please contact support."
9 days 6 emails to support (1 meaningless/robot reply reference to case #: 1401774) and my account is still locked.
My emails:
Coinbase: "we have put a hold on your account’s ability to login for the time being until you are certain that your account is secure."
My reply: I am certain — for over a 12 days I have been certain — for over 8 emails and one automated reply — I have been certain so please unlock my account.
Thanks

After 8 emails my account is still blocked... and their telephone numbers do not connect to humans only recordings.
They locked me out of my account after I was upset that they disabled buy for no reason then I wanted to withdraw all my money back to my bank but I'm locked out. I told them I can't sms login cause my phone was stolen then they responded with email that they were going to disable my account for safety till I got new phone. I borrowed my boyfriends phone and emailed them but it's second month and still no reply. Never using them again.
stay away!
There were some fraudulent charges from Coinbase. I was contacted by my bank and they said that Coinbase took some money from my account.
That was strange but I was 100% sure my bank was telling the truth. When I checked my bank statement I was shocked to see that some money was really missing. I tried to contact Coinbase customer service to get some reasonable explanation, but they ignored me. Stay away!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I didn't get the code and therefore I couldn't open the account
When I registered on the website www.coinbase.com, the rep didn’t warn me that I needed some verification codes. I received them before I wanted to log into my account, but the last time I didn’t get it and the old ones didn’t work out. As well as I was worried and asked the reps to help me, but I heard some blah-blah and nothing was done. Maybe someone knows how to get the codes.
criminal
Coinbase was funded by a criminal, Roger Ver, who has renounced his US citizenship and has been refused a visa to ever reenter the US. Coinbase has been known to steal people's wallets (over $10 M in 2014) and charge extra fees and hold clients' monies for as long as possible. I have heard the FBI is investigating them and will close them down soon.
I was hacked my coinbase account, this is the time, nobody from coinbase solve anything for me. But Im going to the news all over here in the USA
