Sudden change of policy means I have now lost a considerable amount of BITCOIN as my purchase is not accessible to prevent "fraud". after the coin was in my wallet I couldnt withdraw or transfer it. it was so bad that I had to contact a consultant Ari. matan@ gmx.com he was the only one who helped me got the BTC out.
Don't bother with this useless shower of cnuts!
Their "customer service" if that's what you call it, isn't worth a damn.
Locked my account without reason or prior notification and require passport details to unlock.
they choose to obtain personal data rather than looking after my hard earned money. over $94, 000 .
when i was fed up with there customer care, ARI.MATAN at GMX dot COM
helped in recovering close to %65 of the funds for me
I will certainly look elsewhere in the future.
I don't hold out much hope of deleting my data either, what GDPR, but at least they won't be able to retire on what money they did have.
bitcoin purchase
I used my Coinbase account to make a purchase of Bitcoin on 6/26/2019 in the amount of $6000. Coinbase subsequently made a second unauthorized purchase from my account in the same amount. My attempts to contact customer support via telephone were met by a recording informing me that no agents were available to take my call and an online complaint was my only option. After spending a significant amount of time to find where to file a case online, I filed a case and waited for weeks for a response. My account was frozen and Coinbase seized and sold Bitcoin from my original purchase. My emails and calls continued to go unanswered. My case was eventually resolved and closed by Coinbase without ever contacting me. Coinbase has stolen $6000 from me and there seems to be nothing I can do about it.
bitcoin wallet
I have been locked out of my coinbase account since April. Security was never compromised and I never had any issues whatsoever with a security breach on this account. I added funds to my account twice but i never performed any other kind of transaction. I tried to upload my drivers license two different times and niether one was successful. However, it was immediately after the second attempt to add my drivers license that my account was locked. They have been completely unresponsive to this issue. I have opened over 25 support requests and each one is closed after 2 days with no explanation. Please help
account access
I have been trying to get assistance getting into my account, I have emailed customer support 5 times. I have called but am repeatedly told all assistants are busy and am hung up on. I have files a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I simply want to sell my interest in a bitcoin and get my money out. I do not know who to contact or how to get help. I was told they were investigating my situation further and then sent a follow up email that the case was closed.

my account
On friday23rd of May I received account verification codes for my account so I immediately got on the chat when I realize it was going no where I immediately attempted to change my password. I called spoke to someone who told me that no one can log in. Now I can't or haven't been able to access my acount since the 23rd of May and I have given them I.d. copies etc. Every time they tell me 48-72hrs. It has been 8 days an I am pissed because I subject to have to deal with their b.s. I just want to get my 124$ p l us and leave them alone
payment not received
I wired the site 580€, I waited the 3-5 days their support told me to.
It has now been just about 2 weeks.
The money went out from my bank though. Total waste of my money and time.
Their support is useless because it's entirely automated, so you get only to speak to a robot. You could also email them but that is slow and they would most probably tell me it's a problem from my side as scammers usually do.
Do not recommend Coinbase to anyone with an experience like this.
holding funds for 25-days
I opened a bitcoin account with $150 on Aug 28, 2018. They instantly deducted the funds from my bank account electronically. I went to use some of the funds a few days later to try to make a purchase using bitcoin and I had zero available. I learned there was a 48-hour hold and so I waited a few more days. When I tried to make a purchase again, I learned that now there's a 25-day hold on my funds! I called Coinbase and was told they normally do that and they'd escalate my account to see if that hold time could be reduced. I called back a week later and discovered that request was rejected. Nobody was going to call or write to tell me. I then sold my bitcoin and the funds went into my cash wallet, but I still cannot get those funds transferred back to my bank account because the 25 days is not up yet. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! I want my money out of Coinbase now!
bitcoin wallet
I made a couple of purchases of bitcoin through Coinbase's buy/sell feature and deposited to my Coinbase bitcoin wallet. My coinbase bitcoin wallet available balance reflects the amount of the deposits, however, I am unable to do anything with them. Initially Coinbase support told me that they just had to make sure the transactions cleared my bank. According to my bank the transactions have cleared. However, I am still unable to access my Coinbase bitcoin wallet for sending my bitcoin. Furthermore, now Bitcoin support is telling me it will 57 days before I will be able to do anything with the bitcoin in my wallet. They won't give me a reason other then they need to wait until the transactions have cleared my bank. When I phone them and tell them (again) that the transactions have cleared my bank they say there's nothing they can do - unacceptable. When I email them and tell them the transactions have cleared my bank with pictures showing proof of the cleared transactions, I get no reply from them. I've tried to close my account and have all funds transferred to a different wallet provider, however, Coinbase will not let me to this either. I basically consider them as having stole my money for 57 days or longer if they so choose. I wish I had researched them better before I decided to do "business" with them.
Fair resolutions:
1) They unlock my bitcoin wallet, allowing me to do what I please with what is rightfully mine.
2) They allow me to close my account and transfer all funds to a different wallet attached to a different company.
3) They refund all associated deposits from my bank checking account back to that account.
one bitcoin
My brother passed away Feb 23 2016 and at that time he owned one Bitcoin that was being held by Coinbase San Francisco. Since that time we have furnished all the proper legal documents to have this turned over to his surviving siblings, my sister, my brother and I. At first they were quite helpful and advised what legal documents would be necessary. On april 7th we completed this task and sent them to The Coinbase dropbox via email and received confirmation. Since that time they have stopped all communication with us. We fear they have taken our money possibly when it was at near 20, 000 earlier this year though we have no proof of that. We are currently in process of notifying the San Francisco District Attorney and the California State Attorney General's office. We are all in our mid to late seventies and have very limited funds to pursue this matter and they know that. We will never give up trying to retrieve what is rightfully and legally ours.
This one bitcoin matter has now been resolved and we have received our bitcoin.

I am providing you with three screenshots... 1st is the transaction received at my gmail account, 2nd is a confirmation of the transaction at my yahoo account and the 3rd is a confirmation of completion from Coinbase. I have no transactions hash or reference number related to the transaction.

is coinbase a scam?
3 weeks ago I transferred some money so you could verify my bank account and a few days later I talked to a coinbase support guy.
I sent a picture of the transfer and he told me that he would get a tech guy to look into it!
when I write to the support nobody can give me an answer!
nothing happens!

last time I heard from coinbase was 10-03-18
turbo tax support referred by charles schwab co., inc; charged my schwab bank debit card billed by coinbase, cheap side 3 small charges
Turbo Tax support referred by Charles Schwab Co., Inc. Charged 3 small transactions totalling $3.19 authorized by me for service to make changes to my Turbo Tax program to handle Large trade more than 2000. I was asked to scan my driver license, provide (last 6 digit social instead of 4 despite my objection) last 6 of social, DOB, Debit card to charge $3. Credit card given but later was asked that it was unacceptable and to give debit card which I did. They asked to have remote control to install "TeamViewer" program. For 2 days my laptop screen was dark. This incident happened on March 13, 2018. I checked with Charles Schwab Bank about 3 transactions totalling $3.16 and then by PayPal 3 blank with no charges. On March 14, 2018 after several attempts support team informed me that they could not resolve as there is security issue with my computer. This is not True as this is Windows 10 and I never had issues. Today on March 17, 2018 I found again same 3 transactions as PENDING. I cancelled my Debit card. Schwab is aware of this issue. This is a violation of Nevada Privacy issue and consumer fraud.
These things are unheard. Coinbase is keeping charges as PENDING, why? Delete or complete Transaction.
bank verification
I need to withdraw my coinbase funds into real non-fraudulent bank. coinbase said I need to make a transfer from my bank to theirs to validate my bank account for withdrawals (within 2 days they said). I transfered money from Bank of Ireland to their Estonian bank twice in the last few weeks. Everytime I check my bank on coinbase it is still not verified, no sign of customer support, no way of withdrawing my money. scammers! fraud! beware!
bank verification is not completed even I have send money twice into coinbase bank account
i have send small amount in the coinbase bank, the details they have given with reference number, they deposited that money back into euro wallet to buy . however still my bank is unverified I m not able to withdraw my money from their portal which is deposited into euro wallet I can buy and sell easily but money will be still in their portal called wallet...

Been verified for a month. Jeff Pitts 411 Walnut street, green cove springs, florida 32043. Bought and sold already. And now, for the last 3 weeks I havent been able to buy or sell anything. The service keeps telling me I need to verify before I can buy or sell? All I get for an answer is, "we are under heavy load". I tried telling my mortgage lender that I was under heavy load and that was why I couldnt pay him. It didnt work and now he is sueing me.
i'm complaining about a mistake that was made while selling my bitcoin cash.
This happened on the 08th of January 2018

account withdrawal and id verification
Coinbase does not make it clear that to transfer funds from Coinbase you need to go through an ID verification. The problem is the verification does not work and while waiting through this fake process (have tried multiple times and always ends in failure; no such thing as customer support to contact) the currency is trapped. To withdraw the funds you need to sell back to Coinbase and they take a %. Thus, deceiving customers into buying tokens (charging fees for this) and then preventing them from transferring the tokens out so users must sell it back and put it in their bank account while being charged ANOTHER FEE. Have tried multiple, multiple times to contact Coinbase via email, case tickets, phone, and twitter.
wire transfer
Transferred 200EUR on [protected] to Coinbase account following instructions on Coinbase website to the letter. Funds did not show up in the Coinbase account for over too weeks. Contacted customer support with full details asking to either credit my Coinbase account or reverse the transfer. After initial non-informative template-based reply I am no not receiving any responses from Coinbase.
blocked account, no access to funds, no response from customer service
Coinbase, on 12/18/17, froze a transaction for either 72 hours or until I sent photo ID verification, whichever happened first. I immediately sent the requested photo ID verification and they immediately blocked my account. I cannot see my account or anything happening in it, I can't access my funds. No one will respond to me from the Coinbase ticket system, @CoinbaseSupport on Twitter or Olga on Reddit. My request on Reddit is hidden so I can't see anything happening with that.
I want them to restore access to my account and cancel that transaction. I had to use alternate funding to pay for my purchase.
fund transfer
I made a SEPA deposit transfer of 600 Euros to my Euro account on the 17th October 2017 and since then no money has been deposited into my account.
Numerous emails and phone calls to the support line have resulted in nothing more than email replies from incompetent staff or automated replies from bots - Absolute disgrace.
Coinbase have essentially stolen my money !
CEO Brian Armstrong you really need to sort out your customer support. This level of customer support is totally unacceptable !
