customer service
Hi coles supermarket,

I scan the item to pay the money . Nadine was girl on the self -service refuses me . I was disappointed from there service . I end up with no purchase from store . I pissed off .i want to follow up .i want to taking serious on this .
overcharged
I have been overcharged on many occasions in Coles and have made a point of checking my receipt on all of my shopping and this morning once again I was overcharged by a whopping $13.50 and had to make my way back to Coles for refund.I was on my way back to shop and passed many elderly shoppers heading for home, I really felt an overwhelming desire to go to them and make sure they had checked their receipt, I am also so confused on your money back policy, seemingly as I had been charged twice, it was human error but if ticket price was wrong that's different.I love shopping at Coles and so enjoy the variety in all your ranges, but this is a real worry, especially for older people who maybe don't have much to spend in the first place.
Sincerely
Audrey
service
I am extremely annoyed and will not be setting foot into another Coles. I have tried to give our local Coles a go but they have continually let me down. This week alone I have had to return to the store using my petrol, because they have over charged me for a product. Meaning they have scanned it twice. When I have gone in to sort out the problem the people I have had to deal with were rude, one of them even swearing, not at me but I found this very inappropriate. They made me feel like it was my problem that I had been overcharged, how dare I come in and ask for MY MONEY back. Very Poor customer service and whilst I am at it I will mention that the store is one of the dirtiest stores I have ever been into.
The store was Rutherford Coles, NSW. The date is the 13/11/18.
coles brand lychees
I opened a can of Coles brand Lychees tonight for dinner, as I knew my guests liked Lychees & Ice Cream
Well we could smell this awful smell a bit like a fishy smell, it was coming from the can of Lychees
Nobody could eat them so I tipped them all back into the cn
I have never been so disgusted in my life I do buy a lot of Coles brand goods when I can get to Coles store which I am 3 hours away in Western Australia
I would love you people to taste them so we had to open up the little packs of fruit in with the jellies
Not happy at all
coles master card
Dear Coles Customer Care,
I tried to lodge a complaint online at Coles Financial Services Web site but when I enter all the details and submit it continually says "We are experiencing some temporary delay, please try again later."
RE: Cole Financial Services
I am writing to let you know how Coles Financial Services are letting your company down and forced us to stop doing business with Coles.
Recently, my 91 year old father passed away and my 86 year old mother contacted Coles Financial Services to let you know and have her changed to the primary card holder for their Coles Master Card.
Problem 1: Immediately your operator cancelled the existing card which my parents have been using for over 20 years, since it came out, and spending over $20K per year. The account number is [protected]. They are a good customer and my mother was just told to re-apply for a Coles Mastercard. No assistance was offered. And then the operator hung up. The immediate cancellation of this card left my mother feeling a bit shocked and she has had to re-arrange her habits for paying using other cards so she cannot segregate her expenses while coping with her recent loss of her husband of 67 years.
Problem 2: So we made an application online and found that the Coles Financial Services document upload link dos not work when we tried to upload her proof of income.
We tried three times before contacting customer service and after speaking with three unhelpful people who appear to be working from India and not interested in help us to get a Cole Master card.
Problem 3: They refused to let me speak on behalf of my mother and were unconcerned about her age and the stress they were causing her. She became upset by their lack of concern.
We demanded to speak with a supervisor and spoke with Ashuk Das (I think) who said he would help.
Ashuk asked me to send through a written authority for me to speak on behalf of my mother, signed by both me and my mum, even though they had verified her identity three times and recorded her saying I could act on her behalf on the phone call.
He also wanted proof of her income so we sent a copy of her 2017 tax return income page, along with the signed authority for me to speak on behalf of my mother, via email to the email address provided.
At this stage I am thinking that this is be managed so unprofessionally that I began to worry it is a scam associated with Cole. Ashuk said the issue would be escalated and resolved and we pointed out that we are a 20 year customer just trying to change the primary card hold since my father has passed away recently and that at 86 my Mother, while dealing with the loss of her husband, should not be treated like this.
Problem 4: Next we received another email asking for proof of income, even though we had already sent it via email, and when we tried to upload the file we got the same error where the upload page will not load.
So we rang Coles Financial Services again and got Jean and this time I got a refence number for the call which was recorded and you should listen to the way we were treated.
Call Reference no: [protected]
Problem 5: Then my mother got another email saying upload the doc.
Problem 6: Then I got a call from someone saying they want us to send them my mother's entire tax return document. That is ridiculous, an invasion of privacy and unprofessional.
The document we supplied has her income and tax file number. In fact, Coles should be my mother's best credit reference given her more than 20 years and a Coles Master card customer and never having missed a payment.
You are losing a great, long term and profitable customer of both Coles MasterCard and Coles Supermarkets.
Your company has upset an 86 year old lady who has just lost her husband.
Been cruel.
Been incompetent.
Made my mother feel like you do not think she is a good customer.
I am writing to inform you of how Coles Financial Services are letting your company down with their cruel, uncaring, thoughtless approach.
I am sure you will lose a lot more customers like us.
We do not need to be treated so badly by you.
We gave Coles Financial Services many opportunities to get it right and to move ahead professionally.
Coles has given my mother and I no choice but to get a Woolworths Mastercard and to shop at our local Woolworths store from now on.
We are interested to hear from you confirm that you intended that your customer be treat like this.
bread
STONE BACKED LIGHT RYE SOURDOUGH bread
bar code: [protected]
disappeared and Coles do not offer a substitute prepared by the same technology. This is bad.
The sourdough rye Vienna is not really an edible substitute!
The disappeared bread was selling very well; in fact it was sold out half of the time.
The price was $4 a loaf, but, as far as I am concerned you could triple the price. Just supply the above edible bread, please...

Complained about not being able to get the required $110 limit for the last week of the last 10, 000 point promotion because the seafood section of Coles Queanbeyan was very bare. With the fish we wanted we would have made the $11 dollars we were short easily. Got a reply back apologising and saying it would be passed on to the store manager but nothing about the flyby points. Then sent following emai
"Thanks for your reply. I was hoping that because I couldn't get what we wanted you might credit me with the last week of the 4 week promo for the 10, 000 points as we would have made it if the products were available"
No reply at all to that so sent
"No reply to my email of the 27/10/18? I thought it was a reasonable request as it was Coles fault we didn't make the $110, not ours. We would have made it if the seafood section wasn't nearly empty. Thanks"
No answer to this email either
dolmio pasta bake sauce
Dear who it may concern, I am very disappointed with the product I bought today and buy every week as a loyal customer to coles by spending over $200 a week. I was doing my lunch for the week and attached you will see the most disgusting mould in the sauce. It is very annoying and now I will have to go and change it but do not have the time. Which will result in no time to make lunch now.
I will be attaching many photos of receipts to show you that I am loyal to coles with my flybuys attached.
I am expecting a reply as I am not happy at all.
Thank you
overcharge
Coles at Melbourne Central charge for items not bought, on a regular basis, and I'm over it. I have complained many times and it has been taken care of by the store manager but it takes time and I get to the office late. This morning I was charged for gourmet tomatoes which I did not have in my basket! I only found the over charge once I got to the office and glanced at the receipt and couldn't leave work to go back to Coles.

butter chicken frozen meal
I am writing to you today about the Frozen butter chicken meal I purchased from Coles Orana, Albany . Half through eating my meal I bite into piece of chicken that has a long sharp bone in it. I'm not one that usually makes complaints but this meal could have been given to my one and a half year old and it makes me sick to think that he could have tried to swallowed this.
coles poultry variety 12 pack
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you of a very unfortunate incident that happened to me and my family today.
I purchased my groceries as usual this morning, 30 October 2018 at Coles Miami One Shopping Centre. This afternoon I noticed a rancid smell coming from my pantry and proceeded to take everything out of it expecting to find a dead rat.
My husband noticed that one of the cat food pouches in the variety box that I had purchased earlier was open and flies and mouse droppings were in the bottom of the box. The contents of the pouch was dry and crusty and an old stain was apparent of the lid of the box which lead us to believe that this had happened some time before.
I had taken one pouch of food out earlier to feed my cat, which I had then put in the fridge. I had not opened this other pouch, so was horrified to discover that there was mouse droppings in this variety pack of cat food that I had purchased earlier in the day. I have three year old twins that regularly go in the pantry and help feed the cat most days. I dread to think what diseases could be picked up from this and having moved a pouch earlier in the day and put it on my fridge this could have contaminated food that it may have had contact with. This is a disgrace and is totally unacceptable. I am a loyal customer and have been doing my weekly shops with Coles for the past 10 plus years, but I find this discovery to be totally shocking and may deter me shopping at Coles again. I am also of the opinion that health and safety inspections at your facility should be re-evaluated and completely overhauled.
I have provided pictures of the offending item as best I could before I quickly discarded the contaminated contents into the dustbin, away from my three year old twin who was waiting to feed the cat. I also attach a copy of my receipt for your information.
I hope that we will be greatly compensated for this incident with the assurance that substantial measures will be taken to prevent this sort of thing happening again.
Yours faithfully
Louise Hargreaves.

the price of your fuel
I can not under stand you people you send out offers and then keep your fuel prices some 5 to 6 cents and more higher than any other service station.
We have not shopped with you for some time now. Woolworths offers are by far better as in they don't expect you to be spending $200 a week. We don't even buy fuel from them as we find that puma with 4 cents on racq card is by far cheaper.
We were a regular shopper at coles but I am sure you have lost a lot of shoppers that take any notice of offers and express would be loosing many customers that take notice of the price of your fuel.

customer service
Last Thursday I went to Coles Northpoint Toowoomba to buy groceries that we have done for the past 7 years, I'm 71 and have my leg in plaster and I have got crutches, my wife is disabled who was sitting on the bench, I approached the staff member at the self service checkout and requested assistance to help me in regards to obtaining one packet of frozen vegetables which are located at the other end of the store, she replied that it isn't store policy and sort the assistant of the customer service supervisor Vivienne, who politely told us I would have to wait for at least 30-60 minutes until someone was available to assist, I managed to get the other groceries and I can assure you this will be last time we shop at Coles we will also be doing our online shopping elsewhere. We were so disappointed because this store is so convenient for us, we though the meaning of the word Customer Service was just that.

australian chicken portion with bbq rub
I purchased the above meat product on last Tuesday (Oct 23, 2018) from Geelong Westfield Coles. It had an expiry date of 30 Oct 2018. I had it refrigerated in my freezer below 5 degress. When I opened it today (27th Oct, 2018) I could feel a very bad odour. I cooked it anyhow in the oven but it stink with a lot of water being excreted from the meat. I could not even think of eating that meat. I have been a regular consumer of this product & I had never faced this before. I am really very disappointed with this. Had I consumed this product, it could have posed a serious threat to me & my families health. Is there anything that you can do about it? I have wasted my hard earned money for nothing. I hope you're gonna do something about it and I look forward to hearing from ASAP in this regard.

Suresh Deuja

sliced ham in the deli
I went to the deli in Yarraville this afternoon and was served by Alexandra. I asked for SLICED Virginia ham x 300g as I make platters so I need to roll it for the platters. I asked for a bit over 0.5 as I myself use to be a deli manager 2 years ago at Coles so are very familiar with the processes. Instead I got a bunch of shaved mush as pictured! Disgusted by this service. Normally you are supposed to show the customer the slice first and if they asked for sliced ham you leave it flat! Will not be shopping there again! The deli manager just left and since she has gone the standards have dropped immensely!
coles butterscotch lolly
Hello,
I just opened a packet of Coles brand, Butterscotch Candy. After unwrapping one of the individual candies i placed it in my mouth and nelt a weird sensation, i immediatly spat it out and saw that it was covered in long, hard string of plastic. Luckily i wasnt a child sucking on it!
I am disgusted and will never be buying any Coles Branded candy again.
I pictures for evidence but i doubt i will hear back from anyone.
customer service
Yesterday I was at coles Goondiwindi with 2 checkouts open with self serve as well.
We were lined up 3 deep all with huge trolleys & I waited 20 minutes and ice cream was even melting.
1. Your don't allow leave back, but have click and collect.
2. One day tried to do click and collect to pick up next day, no slots available.
Do you realise we are a rural branch where rural people support you. We come to town for all appts, Drs, Dentist, physio, not slip in for a couple of groceries.
It is not the staff's fault that your establishment cannot see past your Corporate offices.
With summer coming along have a long hard look how you are running Goondiwindi Branch.
