duty of care from staff
Disgusted in staff at Coles Hastings for allowing a woman with mental health issues to yell abuse at customers for several minutes without intervention. Only when the women attacked myself and two other elderly customers did they step in. No assistance was offered by any uniformed staff member except the poor girl at the cash register who gave me a paper towel to stop heavy bleeding due to attack. Seriously considering taking legal action against Coles as now my mental health is at risk due to their lack of duty of care. I can only hope they got the other lady the right help she needs.
chicken mince
On Saturday afternoon 1st April 17, I purchased 2 x 500g chicken mince at your Shellharbour NSW. I also did other shopping whilst there and the intention was to have chicken tacos for dinner tonight.
The Best Before date was 4/4/17 as per the pic attached. Very disappointing when I opened to cook and there was the most horrific smell and the texture was very sloppy. There was no way I could cook this for my family, so off to woolies I go. i cannot afford to be buying for of them hat is off nor the time wasted.
trading hours
On your website says that Coles Berwick in Melbourne Australia opens today at 6 am and on the front door of the shop, they got a sticker that says 7 am, I fount it very unprofessional as it is not the first time that this is happening to me, I'm writing you from the car park, waiting for it to be open, just to let you know, I came before going to work, looked last night at the website and it is cold to be waiting outside and I'm not the only one waiting
Hope you'll pay attention to my complaint...

mkr sauce scam
After watching the MRK Sauce challenge (Channel 7) it was advertised that the winning sauce would be available in ALL coles supermarkets the following day. I have visited all my local stores only to be told that they had sold out of the limited stock ther received and where no getting any more. Definitely not a good advertisement for Coles total waste of my time, scam to get customers in your stores
pocket pita's wholemeal
I recently purchased a packet of these pitas from Coles glenquarie town center (Macquarie fields) nsw, on the 29th of March at 3pm, I have gone to get one for myself as my children had already eaten one each to realize their is mould on it. I was in complete shock. The date on the packet said 29th march should not of even been out of date yet let alone have mould on it.
I went the next day to show the codes employee (Helen) she was lovely to refund me and have me fill out a complaint form. Later that day I received a call from the baker manager saying he has forwarded my complaint to the company and they will contact me. He said they stock the shelves and it was their wrong doing. He wasn't even interested in my complaint just passed it on. I am a regular shopper and spend a lot there was quite disappointed as this wasn't the first time it's happened with this product and also with Coles bread as I told the baker manager. I hope to hear back in regards to this and that the stores shelves are more regularly checked thank ful thank my children weren't sick from this.

delivery
I had my first online order from Coles supermarkets ([protected]) delivered last Thursday 23/3/17. Unfortunately upon unpacking my groceries I noticed that my bakery goods were missing. I called the customer service number on the invoice and spoke to a gentleman to alert him of this. I was complacent and understanding as I am fully aware that at times we can get things wrong. However, I am not satisfied with the lack of service that followed. I was told that the missing goods would either be delivered later that afternoon or the following day and/or I would receive a phone call regarding this. Neither of these actions occurred. I then had to go to another store to purchase the missing goods which was not desirable due to time restraints in my professional life - this completely defeated the purpose of having my groceries delivered, which I thought would be a good option to alleviate time constraints. I then made a phone call to the customer service team today (30/3/17) exactly 1 week later, to which there was no apology or compensation offered. I was offered a store credit for the price of the goods that I did not receive. This was not a desirable outcome as I now no longer wish to shop at Coles. I requested the cost of the missing goods be refunded back onto the card which I used to purchase the goods and was told it would take approximately 5 business days. Again, I am understanding of these processes, but the lack of genuine care that no one had given to me was appalling. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and I couldn't believe that no one was even willing to apologise for the inconvenience caused. The initial incident of the items missing did not bother me, but the lack of care or attention to resolving the incident was not at a standard that a major supermarket chain should encompass.
little explorer baby wipes
I recently purchased a Pack of your Little Explorer Baby wipes..My daughter kept complaining it hurt her, i just thought she was being fussy until i used these wipes myself and i have burns to both sides of my face and my chest area.
Im so disheartened that something so "gentle" and designed for Infants and upwards could Burn their precious skin. This is not ok. You need to take them off the shelf and test your ingredients. Also for being packaged "Fragrance free" The smell they omit is horrendous...i will be taking them back to my local coles where i purchased them tomorrow.
lack of availability of sauce promoted,
After watching the MRK Sauce challenge (Channel 7) it was advertised that the winning sauce would be available in ALL coles supermarkets the following day.
I have visited several Coles stores in my area, Vermont South, Knox, Forrest Hill, Burwood, Glen Waverley on several occasions to enquire re stock and 3 out of 4 did not even have them as a stock item at all!
I call this false advertising. Very disappointing.
dianella store perth
Whoever manages this store needs to be spoken to! Shelves empty and disheveled. Very little or NO trolleys in trolley bay. Shelves empty and haven't been restocked. Everytime I go there they run out of stock! I've never been to a Coles like this one. It's disgusting! For godsake get someone in there that gives a dam!
It looks more like a jumble sale!
Bought apples that were all brown on the inside. Unripe rock melon. Strawberries going off. It's sickening!
You have an opposition at the other end of the centre being Woolworths and I'll shopping there in future. At least they know how to stock a shelf and merchandise!
Don't know how they get away with this?! Obviously profits are THAT good?! Not for long!
hot cross buns
I bought another bag of 6 Hot Cross Buns at your Forestville NSW store.
They are miniature compared to ones bought previously at other stores - but still the same price as they are sold by the packet of nine, not by weight.
I thought that Coles would have had a quality control policy and system in place that would not let this sort of thing happen - but apparently not
Reflects very badly as an example of profiteering.
fresh fruit
I purchased a quarter watermelon and a whole cantaloupe from your Pacific Epping store (3076) on Saturday 25th March, when I went to cut it up for afternoon tea yesterday, I found that the watermelon it at best ready to be marked at discounted - best part of not useable (yes, I brought it at full price) then upon tasting the cantaloupe again, what a huge disappointment - what was smelling sweet on the outside and cutting it up looked ok as well, to bite into a fury, tasteless cantaloupe.
I have experienced the watermelon on a few occasions in the same manner (From Coles) and usually go to my local fruit and veg market, but generally when you are limited with time due to commitments and cannot pick up something at least half decent in the fruit department - fair to say is greatly disappointing and makes me wonder sometimes why I would even bother to continue to purchase any fresh items from Coles. I will be trying the red delicious I purchased later when I get home, as these 3 items where the only fresh items that I brought lets just hope your over priced apples have a lot more to say for themselves than the 2 varieties of melons that I purchased.
Fair to say after several disappointments on the quality of freshness of the fruit, I doubt I will be purchasing from Coles again, I have filled in customer surveys and respond the same way. but it is like it falls on deaf ears. A refund would be the only acceptable return here, as I have had to go and spend more money to buy the same things that you failed on.
You will seriously need to look into having the UPMOST FRESHNESS in the variety of what you are putting into ALL of your stores.
I am unable to add photos or a receipt as I am not using my own computer, but will be happy to do so if you send through the email and I can link through my phone.
Regular 3 star mince $7.00 kilo
As a loyal Coles customer we have found the above mince has become absolutely terrible. The mince is slimy & glugy. It's appearance has also changed to a pale color. It's horrible to cook with and my pets won't even eat it anymore. Now, for my cat not to eat something he loves means these something wrong with it. From this point on we will be buying our mince from Aldi. VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER. Product is so not what it should be.
coles chicken breast
I purchased Coles chicken breasts and made a dish for my family. My partner was eating a chicken piece and chocked on a small bone.
As a loyal Coles customer I am very upset about this and will be reconsidering any future pultry purchases from Coles.
Could you please ensure this is looked into and I would like to be reimbursed for the product at a minimum.
check out
Tamworth Coles on peel street (2340)
The lady named Cass on the check out at 1:30, accused us of stealing a bottle of water! She had said that we needed to get a black mark on the bottle! This is absolutely ridiculous! It's a bottle of water! The person work ethic was unbelievably terrible, the checkout person was slow, and was not working to the best of her ability! This is absolutely ridiculous, and should not of happened, I'll be letting friends and family known about this!,
incorrect labeling and poor quality of bacon
This is the second submission to you in regards to 'Coles budget bacon RASHERS' I submitted this complaint 4 days ago on the 21st March and I received an email that you had received my feedback and that a customer care rep will contact me as soon as possible. Well guess what, still waiting. let me reiterate my complaint I bought a 1 KG pack of coles budget bacon RASHERS, but when I opened the pack it was full of very SMALL pieces of bacon which was by no means up to coles standard. When I say small pieces I mean an average of 5 to 10 centimetres in size with some at least 3 centimetres in thickness. This was discusting as well as embarrassing, as we had visitors for breakfast. There is no excuse for mislabeling the word RASHERS was to say the least false advertising, I have most of the pack in the freezer for your inspection if you so desire, the bacon itself was very distasteful I could not finish the small portion because of the low quality the bacon presented. There are a lot of horrible things besides this complaint you have to contend with, but to us it was a waste of money we can ill afford, I would like to request a replacement with actual Bacon Rashers in it and not the scraps off the floor as this resembled. coles olive oil spread
have been buying this product for a long time I brought this olive oil spread on Tuesday 22nd march 2017 noticed a smell when I buttered my toasted sandwiches thought nothing of it apart from the smell then as I started to eat took I bite and it tasted like some sort of poison or insectercide I also put it on my granddaughters lunch for school and she took...

Coles healesville 21/03/2017
No paws pet food... Probably the 4th time in less then a year that the cabinet has been empty... And as it is the only pet food my fussy moggies will eat it is rather concerning. I have been keeping a spare (The large pack) usually but this week had totally run out as my shopping day had to be moved on because of illness, and there was nothing there, not even the small pack... Again.
online shopping
Hi
I'm writing to you as I live in a small remote regional town in western australia. Our community had enough of our local shop and there rediculous pricing a long time ago now that we were even willing to drive a total of six hours to go to karratha on a day trip and back. Finally we have another transport company that can bring our food up if we get it delivered to there depot. The community was told to notify sharleen at 0337. Online. [protected]@coles.com. Au or via phone on [protected] and give your name and make sure she is aware it is for onslow in regional western australia.
I placed my order and did all of the above and called sharleen and she confirmed she knew about my order.
We received our order on thursday 16/3/17 in onslow. However alot of my meat is out of date, i've attached pics, please rectify this situation. Our community is placing our trust in coles to provide a fresh food service. My understanding was that we email you so you can make sure we get fresh stock since we are regional. My rockmelon is tasteless and the same with my peaches. I feel that the company has used this service to get rid of old stock to people in the country who can't do much about it. We pay over $100 to have our food delivered up here and this sort of service is not good enough. Please contact me back via email or on the number below to rectify this matter.
Kindest regards

customer service
Please please please go into a Woolworths supermarket, photograph their quick find list & adapt it to your stores! My friends & I are increasingly frustrated at not being able to find things in Coles stores, we do not (as you probably hope) walk up & down every aisle looking for an item buying more things along the way, NO, we leave everything & go to Woolworths!
This is a major problem but so easily fixed, please provide a list as good as Woolworths.
service
I was At your morissett store today 22/3 at 12.00. Nicole the girl at a the cigarette counter also doing the 12 items under checkout was not very friendly at all. No hello how are you today, no eye contact. No goodbye have a nice day. Seems the staff are getting ruder by the minute. Hopefully you might be able to go and give her some manner trainin
