kirkland signature chicken
This is at least the third time that I have bought the Kirkland Signature Boneless chicken breasts that have leaked from the package. I like the chicken, but sometimes it seems I have to throw out one of the six packages in the bundle pack.
I'm starting to think that Costco is actually aware of the issue, but wont resolve the issue, instead, only put a bandage on it.
I remember in the past the chicken was in one of those coffin refrigerators, they are still there, but now they all tend to be frozen instead of thawed. I can kind of understand the reasoning for that, however, by doing so, I can't find out if the package leaks or not.
I have gotten up to the cashier and realized the chicken is leaking, but the cashier said it was just the condensation from thawing. Nope, it was actually leaking.
Another band-aid they use is by providing plastic bags to put the chicken in. I like the idea of it, however, the bags are a junk. They rip from the corner of the package of chicken I put in there. Plus they don't even cover the chicken package bundle. What is the point to have plastic bags at Costco that wont even fit product into it? None.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they know this issue, hence is the reason I have only seen the bags near the chicken. They may be somewhere else and I have not seen them, but I think it is a little strange if they are only there.
I like the bag idea, but I don't want it almost as a trick. I get home, chicken thaws from it being semi frozen from Costco, then leaks all over my fridge, so I have to choose to cook it at that moment or toss it. I'm getting sick of cleaning my fridge and tossing other food due to the leaked chicken fluid.
I wish they would actually make sure their packaging is leak proof. I can surely understand it happening once, but when I have had it happen at least three times to me personally I know something is up. I don't like to complain, but this is just getting ridiculous. I like the chicken and would like to continue buying it, but they really need to fix the leaking chicken problem.

Good morning, my name is Jesse Bradley member # [protected]. I purchased a set of tires some months back now and recently had them rotated at the Spartanburg South Carolina location. Today 04/12/17 I had to take my car to the mechanic due to the fact that my car was vibrating and shaking and the right front was making a popping noise. My mechanic has looked at the car and turns out it is simply caused by my lug nuts being loose! I know that sounds like a simple issue and it really is. However, this could have been major. My wife drives this car everyday to 45 min down a busy hwy. What would have happened if these lug nuts would have gotten looser? Well for starters the wheel would have fallen off. As a result my wife and possibly many others could have been hurt or even worse died from this. I have not received the bill from the mechanic as of yet but we know mechanics are not free no matter how minor the repair. I am not sure how you would like this to be handled but, at the very least I am asking you to pay for the charges from my mechanic and the time I have missed from my Job due to this incident. My mother had a flat tire the other day, and I told her to take the car to one of the tire centers in Irvine. (That's where she lives) According to my mother, one of the associates look at the tire where the nail was and told her that it will take about 2 hours to patch. So my mother left the car there got picked up and came home. A few hours later, she got a call back, but the repair was not done. So I called back on behalf of my mother, and the reason was that the nail was too close the the edge, which I completely understand why. He told us that we need to purchase a new tire, but it was not in stock... So we decided to take it to a hyundai dealership nearby to get it fixed in a timely manner. We explained our situation to one of the technicians, and he asked to see the damaged tire. His response was quite different than what the Costco associate had told me. The tire WAS in a condition that could be fixed, and he patched the hole right then and there.
I am not sure what kind of moral practice Costco condones, but no one would like being lied straight to their face, especially when that someone happens to be a member over a decade. The sales person clearly inspected the tire condition, as the tire was already taken off, prior to leaving the car for nearly 2 freaking hours! Not sure what his intention was, but honestly that's not right. His action wasted nearly 3 valuable hours of not only my mother but also the people who had to give her a ride.
I used to recommend Costco Tires for anyone who asked, but now I am reluctant to do so due to this misfortunate single incident. Quite frankly, I much rather pay a little more for honest, transparent, and efficient services elsewhere. I do not have any mal-intentions towards the associate who lied to my mother. I am simply making my voice heard over this unfortunate event, and I only hope that this kind of practice doesn't affect anyone else in the future.
In most part, I myself used to be an employee at Costco (technology) some time back, and I really like the services Costco provide. I also understand how crazy things get and how tough it is to work there. But, I can honestly say that I have NEVER mistreated a customer EVER while I was working at Costco. I used to take pride in being an ex-employee and I hope to continue to do so in the future.

costco replacement to american express
I am also having problems with the new replacement to American Express with Citibank. The changeover was a disaster which has not got any better. I also have been trying to download transactions into Quickbooks just as I did with American Express. What I have learned after many hours of trial and error and online chat along with so called tech support on various levels at various times over several months is the following:
Whatever Citi card was FIRST registered is the ONLY one with full web access and downloading into Quickbooks capabilities.
The, to me, the illogical reasoning for this is that, unlike American Express, Discover, or major banks, one has to have a different user name for each account or card in Citibank. Quickbooks requires that only one user name be used for each banking institution, regardless of how many accounts are within that banking institution.
Had I known this up front I would have registered the card which I use for the bulk of my transactions. but Costco nor Citibank mentioned that! I thought maybe I could resolve this by unregistering all Citibank cards and just registering the one I use most - but no, Citibank do not permit such devious methods of skirting around their "customer be screwed" system.
I shall therefore not renew my Costco subscription which I have had since 1981 and reluctantly switch to Sams Club. It is not just the credit card problem, but the general attitude and service of Costco, which has gone down the tubes over the past five years or so. They clearly do not care anymore about their customers, as they probably think why should they when their stores remain packed. I can think of other stores which had the same attitude but are either no longer in business or are struggling.

Today, April 11, 2017 I went to Costco in Trexlertown, PA. Among other things, I bought a watermelon that looked ok on the outside but when I brought it home and cut it open it was rotten on the inside. This is not the first time we've found or purchased rotten produce such as potatoes, onions, etc. This is definitely below the standards I expected from Costco. Please check your produce thoroughly so shoppers like myself will not become disappointed and go elsewhere. Thanks!

I went to Costco in salinas ca today spent $180 dollars bought my son a hot dog my daughter a slice of pizza and my self a salad half way through eating the salad I find a fly in there I was so disgusted I called the manager on site and he told me to come in a he would replace my salad and kinda apologized I don't want the salad replaced I would like them to inspect the products they sale before it happens to someone else that's absolutely unacceptable.

There was a checker named Byanka working on 4/11/17. I politely asked how her day was and she rudely said "it's going" and continued to roll her eyes. I ignored the rudeness and asked her if there was a price difference if I got a hotdog without the drink, and with attitude said "well there's no difference in price so if you want to waste your money go for it". I continued to take the high road and politely told her to have a good day, she then turned her head tossed my card to the side with no reply and started scanning the next costomers items. Not to cause I scene I gathered the items I purchased and left the store.

I adore costco but not so much the old (33 yrs with) amex I have so many problems with american express recently because they outsource service center (In the operator's words, the calls are now "global"). Amex told me when this started to happen last year that they would fix it. Not true. So I get apologies galore for continuous s mistakes (Like leaving an apt number off a credit card and mail). Please keep this in mind in case you are thinking of going back with them — I have taken them off all my auto-pay and will not use the card. The best one so far has been chase.

Hello my name is Victor Espinoza and on two occasions yesterday 4/10/17, I was misinformed on the availability of product #1031553. I had called multiple stores looking for this product and was informed that the Costco Warehouse in Hanford, CA had five of them. I called the Hanford warehouse directly before I left to verify and they said they had five. So I drove over an hour and when I got there I was informed by a manager named Melissa that the operator that had answered misread the computer system. She told me to try other stores and check with them.
I left and called the North Fresno Costco and their operator told me that they had two and one was being held for a customer that never showed up to pick it up. So I drove up there and the same thing happened. The N Fresno manager Lyndsi was very professional and nice and had said that the operator misread the system.
I love shopping at Costco and all I wanted is the opportunity to purchase this item. I am greatly disappointed in the miscommunication between phone operators and employees on the floor. I wasted hours driving back and forth for something that could have been easily clarified.

April 10, 2017, came to Costco store in Hawthorne, California to return an item and pick up some prescription for a painful sinus infection . Took me for ever to find parking. Finally park really far from the entrance. Proceeded to wait in line to make my return. The line was really long and not moving at all. Because of the pain I was, I decided to instead to to pharmaxy and get my prescription go home and come back some other day for my merchandise return. The guy at the entrance stopped me like i was some kind of criminal and told me to go back to my car and put my returning item in my car. I parked really, really far and my head was throbbing . He was very rude and zero costumer service. Instead of returning to my car, I dumped my item in the garbage.

I used to work at store# 1167 in membership and I recently quit. I would like to bring your attention to supervisor Jocelyn Herrera's behavior. She has no customer service skills. She is rude to members as well as team members. Working under her makes the environment very uncomfortable. Her mood swings make the people working for her very stressed. It feels like walking on egg shells when she is around. She has been reported by numerous people but nothing has happened. She was part of the reason that I left the company so early. I am reporting this right now because i did not want to while I was working there because of the repercussions.

The last time I went to Costco left me feeling very uncomfortable. I had only bought 9 items. The shopping cart checker at the exit looked through every single item multiple times. He discovered that the incompetent cashier had forgotten to charge me for an item. I went back to pay. I didn't mind having to go back to pay. However, I did very much mind that the Caucasian man who was in front of me with two shopping carts full of items was let go after a minor glance at his receipt. As a woman of color, this experience left me feeling very uncomfortable, like I had been racially profiled and let down by the store that I've been coming to since I was a child. Please find a way to fix this.

Mike D the manager here just chastized me in front of a bunch of other employees and he has been cold and rude to me the whole time I have been here. I have diabetes and I have been one since a teenager. I have to urinate frequently and I drink a lot of fluids and I must eat every few hours to keep my blood sugar up. So about every hour to hour and a half I go to the restroom and grab a snack and ho back to my spot. Vitamix has been here the whole time I have so i usually grab his samples. So today on the rare occasion we both were breaking at the same time mike came by and made a spectical for no reason. I hate confrontation so I just said ok sorry and walked away he then followed me and talked ill to me in front of other costco ppl. I felt like a piece of poo on the bottom of his shoe. I dont like telling ppl about my health issues because its embarrasing and it doesnt affect my job. I am in the bathroom now texting you because I do not want you to hear bad about me before I can defend myself. If you look at everyones sales the past week my sales are the same as everyones because when we are good its good and when its bad its bad. Its not just me. I promise you can ask my previous costco or the one im going to next week I am a very personable happy great salesperson. He for some reason locked onto me and has ridden me the whole ten days. organic raisins - sun maid
IMO The organic raisins are smaller and not as good as the regular raisins (which COSTCO no longer carries).
I realise that organic foods sell better, but I assume that with time other customers will have the same observation and will start foregoing purchasing this product and will begin, as I have, purchasing the non-organic product at their grocery stores.
Just something to consider if you see repeat sales of this product dropping off.
alhambra drinking water services offered were horrible
We were in the local Costco by my mother-in-law in Santa Rosa CA and there was a display for Alhambra drinking water with a great dispenser that allows the 5 gallon bottle to be at the bottom instead of on top of a regular dispenser. The whole service sounded great so we signed up and were supposed to receive a call within a few days to arrange delivery to my mother in law. More than a week and a half passed and she called me to let me know no one had been in touch with her. I called DS Services and they said that delivery was set for that same day, so I let my mother in law know and she waited all day for them to arrive, missing other appointments. No one arrived, and I called the following day. They said in the computer there was no delivery date but they would arrange a special delivery the following day. Again my mother in law waited all day and no one arrived. I called that evening and someone was supposed to call me back to let me know what was happening. No one called. So I called today to cancel, and I had already set up automatic payments with my credit card. This was all very frustrating and disappointing, as we were excited to have the water delivery service for my mother in law who really needs it, and we trusted the Costco endorsement to be a good company. We recommend you do not endorse or support the DS Services of America company.

At the exit, the receipt checking lady (name tag read Cathy) counted my cart 3 times. It shocked me not only because I have got only 10 items in my cart, but also it was the first time ever someone might think I was stealing, or at least it made feel like so. Very bad customer experience.
I have been a Costco member for more than three years. The receipt checking has always been like a friendly smile and a warm goodbye. But the incident I went through today was disrespectful and humiliating. Frankly, if it ever happen again, I will consider quitting the Costco membership.
I agree receipt checking / item counting may sound like an easy job, but still some training or guidelines would be beneficial and appreciated by the customers. At lease to make sure the staff at the exit has adequate item counting skills, or not having a rough day.
I would really appreciate it if Cathy or her manager provides me a brief feedback. That's my desirable resolution.

country style pork ribs
I purchased a package of your pork shoulder country style spareribs and when I opened it, it looked like whoever cut and packaged it hacked then into ragged sections of pieces from 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inches and hid the smaller pieces under the top layer. I have bought meats from the store in Brick, NJ for several years and have never had a complaint until now. Some of the pieces were cut and then were hacked almost in half lengthwise. I don't know if this was someone who is a new hiree in the meat department who had no idea what he was doing, but I am very dissatisfied with the results.

On 4/2/2017 7:30am, My car-(2008 TSX) had a flat tire & it is 8 miles away from Costco, we had to put a can of fix-a-flat on the tire in order to drive to Costco to get it repair.
The 4 tires were bought frpm Costco tire center on 12/12/2016 -(Bridgestones) total-$667 with 75000 miles warranty on it.
We drove the car in Costco Tire center @8am & told the tire representative about it& he told us will take 3-4 hours for one flat tire repair.
At 10:20am, Costco call & told us they cannot repair the tire for we put in the fix-a-tire can that filled the holes with chemicals. That void the warranty and they won’t repair it. Even that tire bought from Costco less than 3 months and only had ~2000 miles on it.
They said they will only remove that flat tire and put in the compact tire.
We argued but no effect, complaint to another manager and the manager is better and negotiate with the tire dept and get ½ price off to replace a new tire for it. So we had to pay $82.95 + tax=$ 92.25 for one tire replace.
After we came home and think about it, we find some suspicions ;
I have been driving for 35 years and I have been flat tires 4 times for last 20 years, and had used 3 times on those fix-a flat can to inflate the flat tire so it can drove to any tire center to get repair. I remember I have done twice to drove to Costco center in Sacarmento on [protected] and both inciidents had no problems, they fixed my flat tires with those chemical with no complaints and no charge because those tires bought from Costco and still under warranty. And other incident on 2009 I had flkat tire with the fix-a flat can chemical in it, I bring the car just to gas station and get it fix for $20 for I didn’t want to wait for 3-4 hours at Costco.
So there was no reason while other Costco tire center and other gas station to able to repait the flat tire, but not this Costco tire center at South San Francisco-Colma store.
Ther are no wriiten policy from Costco that one cannot use those fix-a flat can on flat tires & will void the warranty. So I think Costco just fabricate the story that it is not repairable, even they told me it had 2 holes on the tire, and those 2 holes are not on the sidewall.
So I will file complaints to better business bureau vs Costco and hope to get back my $ 92.25 for the tire that should be able to repair.

Today at your Miami Lakes warehouse I requested to enter the store and Jason posible a manager because he was in white shirt was very unprofessional and told us that we needed to be member. Hopefully you guys do something and explain to Jason that customer service is important because we wanted to check store to proceed to be menbers. We just needed to ensure certain products were present that are not always present every were. Sad we decided to continue with BJ'S just for this Jason bad service. I know only one family will not hurt your business however learn from this.

This product does not meet your usual quality standards. I used to buy the It se Bit se brand which are awesome. The new one offered Felina, doesn't stay up and they are garbage in my opinion. A complete waste of money. Wore 1 pair to work and suffered all night. Dump this brand. Since I opened them and washed them and wore one pair, I didn't think a refund would work, but they are garbage. Really disappointed in this one.
I second this. I bought a pack of felina lace ribbed and I couldn't handle it one day and had to take them off midday. I am donating the rest of the new package. I guess felina online has the same problem. They must have changed their quality. Nordstrom felina used to be great. They are a little off too but not as bad as other retail felina options.
