not delivering
I placed an order for a TV on 7/6 and received an email from CEVA that it would be delivered on 7/14. On 7/13, I received a call from CEVA that it was delayed and would be delivered between 4pm and 8pm on 7/15. I went home early to receive the delivery and it never came. CEVA did not contact me to let me know that it wasn't coming. I contacted CEVA on 7/16 and was told that the earliest that they could deliver now is 7/20. This is terrible customer service and COSTCO should not use a company that acts in this manner.
citi card
Costco switched to the new Citi/Visa card and gave us a paper credit card but made it for only 1 week knowing that Citi is taking more than a month to process new cards. Also, Costco refused to allow us to apply for the card ahead of time for absolutely no valid reason. It's been a month and we are still waiting for the new card. Completely ridiculous, amateurish, and sophomoric mismanagement on the part of Costco. Not what you'd expect of a multi-billion dollar company
Citi Bank are a...s...s...holes
Citi does not seem to understand customer service. My new card was rejected at a Safeway in Northern CA today. When I called Citi to find out why, I was told my account was "over limit." AmEx did not reject such charges in the 12 or more years that I have been a Costco Executive Member with an AmEx card. I asked to speak to a Citi Supervisor. The Florida based agent on the phone could not "find" a Supervisor. I hung up in disgust.
Costco stated time and again that the Citi card and the related services would be better than Amex. This is a poor start.
This transition has not gone well. I have had several times my card would not work in store machine. A customer just in front of me had the same problem. Some retailers have requested that I use a different card for my transaction. Other time I have been declined for no good reason. This is very frustrating, considering the two companies involved. I have bee an Costco customer and American Express for more than fifteen years.
The new Costco Citi card didn't take effect until June 20, they didn't tell you that charges made on your Costco American Express previous to June 20, were to be paid to Citi. Citi did not send a statement until July 15, at which time they told me my payment was overdue and they added in the American Express charges (which my bank was set up to pay). Along with the past due notice came a $27 late charge and a $4.33 interest charge (for not paying $202 charged to American Express). I was so angry that I wasn't polite to Citi Customer Service when I called. They were overwhelmed with complaints. I was told the late charge would be refunded, but probably not the $4.33 in interest. So multiply $4.33 (or more) by the millions of people that Citi screwed and you get a tidy little sum of money being collected due to their ineptitude.
customer service department in mount laurel, nj
I was there a few days ago and was treated very rude by the young woman cashier at the customer service department. As soon as I walked up she had a bad attitude. I asked her a few questions about joining and the rudeness was extreme. I was very nice to her. There was no reason for this and I left vowing I will never shop there. Why do they have a girl like this at a customer service position right by the door. I have never reviewed a company before but this was so awful I had to. I would have joined if not for her rude behavior. A customer stopped me who heard her and told me to report her. Honestly I was so shocked that I just wanted to leave.
credit card
We have been loyal Costco Executive members for few years now and it's one of our favorite places to shop or at least USED TO BE for all our business supplies and most of our grocery for personal use, till the whole transition from American express to Citi Bank It has been nothing but nightmare.
End of april we received a letter saying that we will be receiving the citi card by the beginning of June as June 19 will be the last day to use American Express card, we did Not receive the card until the end of June after calling the horrible customer service for citi bank more than 5 times and each time my husband stayed on hold for at least 30 minutes before someone actually picks up and he had to go through the whole process of explaining over and over.
Finally we received the cards only to learn that it was linked to the wrong member ship so my husband could NOT fill his car with gas !
So he had to go in the store for them to issue a new a card with a new number that it is deferent from my membership card number which now I CAN NOT use.
I am considering cancelling our business membership for good.
the transition was a mess...spent hours on phone to reverse interest on a statement I never received.
Citi credit card
I have been a loyal customer for costco for few years now and it's one of my favorite places to shop at or at least it used to be till the whole transition from american express to citi. It has been nothing but a nightmare to me.
I had american express credit card through costco and that was the only card I used over there and I had no problems whatsoever and an awesome experience with customer service then my the end of april I received a letter saying that ill be receiving the citi card by the beginning of june and by mid june I won't be able to use the american express anymore and today kits the 12th of july and I still haven't received my card yet and I called the horrible customer service for citi bank more than 5 times and each time I stay on hold for at least 40 minutes before someone actually picks up and I go through the whole process of explaining that I haven't received the card yet and they would verify the address and say everything seems fine and they don't know why I haven't received it and they would tell me we would issue another card and you should receive it in 19 days and the same story has been going on for a month now and I still haven't received the card yet and they wouldn't even have the courtesy of apologizing or trying to trying to expedite the process so I would receive it faster saying oh we can't do that it was to be sent by regular mail.
It has really been a nightmare and I want to know whose fault that is and who is responsible for all the hassle I'm going through and all the money and the benefits that I'm losing for not receiving the card and not being able to use the card. Everything was fine before the whole citi bank transition thing and I want to know what I did to deserve the horrible customer service that they are providing and not even knowing what happened and whats causing all that delay. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Beware of the Costco Citibank Visa Card. On March 1st I made a $2,000.00 payment over the phone directly from my checking account. The rep said that it would not be reflected as received until March 12th. Being able to invest my payment for 11 days is nothing short of stealing in my opinion. They are double dipping. While they earn interest on my payment I have to pay them more on my credit card balance.
I m a Costco Excutive member for over 15 y and still current member .I was missed treated as a loyal customer by Citi business visa department .
I did not know how bad it was until I filed this complain today.
This bussiness Citi card specially they seem to take the law onto their own.
I was so mad that i cancelled the card even though i still have a balance of
More than 250$" in rewarded money to be redeem at the end of years.
That they told me it would be forfeited if I cancelled the card that not even my fault. That is their policy for treading loyal costumer.
Same on you.Citi bussiness card (department).
I would nerver recomented to anyone ..
I have had a costco membership for 3 years now and am on auto renew through citibank. Citibank has cancelled my card because of not having a current membership. They should be able to see I am on auto renew. Called them and they were nasty with me and basically said it was not their problem. Costco screwed up and put my wife as primary but I was still on there. My credit score took a 40 point hit by shortening my credit history when they closed my account. They said they could run my credit and reopen account. Yes, thats what I want, another credit inquiry for a card I already established 3 years ago. Bottom line, I paid my balance each month and they were not making money off me. Citibank customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. My recommendation is to NOT get a citibank card, or if you do, monitor everything closely and hope that you never have to talk to them on the phone.
I been Costco Member for many years. During the pandemic I used the card to purchase a MLB on TV for that time. I did cancel order. But I don’t have any records. I also had my card turned off and number change. However year later I get a automatic renewal charge for $129.00. I dispute the charge immediately. The card company refunded my money with no issue. Within couple months I notice charge was reversed. So I called the CC company. There responds. A copy of Agreement from MLB. Basically stating you going to charged every year until canceled. I called CC to only get a run around, you should have read your contract before buying any apps. Wow! Did you ever see the contract on line. It’s a book. Unfortunately I am not an Attoney to understand all the term and condition. VERY SAD. After looking into my history with CC. I notice my interest rate hike almost 2% from 15%to 17% for no reason. Never been late and we use card all the time.
As of right now I will never use this card on any Internet purchases ever again. I will cancel this card out when I get my cash back reward.

COSTCO CITI VISA provides horrible service. We have been trying to dispute a $15, 000 payment since August for services not received and the dispute still hasn't been cleared up. The merchant is a felon on probation. That should tell anyone there is a problem. Our adult daughter was to be provided 30 days and nights of treatment with housing for her Bipolar I. She got 5 nights of housing and 3 days of counseling at most. We told CITI we would pay $2, 500 for the 5 nights she was there before Mastermind Care Transferred her to another facility. COSTCO CITI VISA got it wrong and disputed $2, 500 instead of the $12, 100 and kept sending letters and emails saying they could not change the disputed amount. Then the dispute was closed and we got a letter saying sorry we can not help you in this matter and there is no need for further contact Then we suddenly get a new letter saying they are disputing $12, 100 (which is over 2 months later) and they gave us a $12, 100 conditional credit. They stated they also reported this credit to the credit bureaus. The only problem is we received another letter a few days later saying the merchant refused to return the money and had provided the documentation. The conditional credit still remains on our account. Oh come on, there wasn't enough time to send the merchant a new letter, let the merchant respond and then COSTCO CITI VISA notify us. It was all done trying to appease us. COSTCO CITI VISA didn't even provide documentation from the merchant this time.
COSTCO CITI VISA tells us to obtain a lawyer, yeah right. $20, 000 lawyer trial fee to obtain $15, 000 and the merchant can declare insolvency and not pay. We tried a demand letter from an attorney and it was ignored. The felon knows what we are up against, and again COSTCO CITI VISA won't help.
Concerning The Costco Anywhere Citi Credit Card-
Well, where do I begin. Costco should reconsider doing business with Citibank. In 2019 Citibank claims that I elected to go paperless and therefore they sent my reward certificate via email, according to them. I never received the certificate and I am out over $225. Obviously they are not reputable and this would never happen via the services of American Express. Over the years with American Express at Costco, I never had an issue. Why in the world Citibank would say that I elected a paperless statement for one month, is beside me. This happened to be the month when the certificates were delivered and now I’m out. They refused to duplicate the certificate, even though they could see that my reward was unused. They even refused to give me the barcode number. The pandemic hit eight months later and the world came to a stop. I hate that I’m having to deal with this institution, as the points were earned not given to me. I contacted them yet again and to no avail. A supervisor with Citibank was extremely rude and I hate that Costco is doing business with crooks.
My banking information was hacked through another vendor causing all my auto payments to reject! I make two payments to my CItibank per month, I forgot to update my auto payment info but made the additional payments with my bank card which was not compromised. Three of the auto payments were returned but they did receive my extra payment. I incurred fees which is fine but they closed my account causing me to loose the $300 in cashback i had earned. Wrote a letter, showed proof of the breach to no avail. They cancelled my card and lost my cash back. I have never been shown such lack of concern from a CC company and I had Citibank in the past. I guess its all good until you really need them to put the customer first.
Costco citi credit card, decreased my credit Lil, while I was out of town, on a Saturday. There was not a thing I could do about it. No answers. I have never missed a payment.
Given I’ve never had a late payment, monitor the balance online; paying as soon a charge appears, Citi has no use for me. And Costco may care very little. What Citi values is a cardholder who allows credit balances to languish; only funding the minimum payment thus giving Citi interest income. Duh.
When Costco bedded with Citi, I was given a $5, 000 credit limit. I felt that excessive and asked it be reduced to 1200. in the event the card fell into nefarious hands. They wouldn’t dip below $1, 500 so that figure became my self imposed credit ceiling.
The 2021 Memorial Day sale found some great buys on kitchen appliances so using my Citi card, I tried to purchase. The refrigerator I decided upon was 80.00 over the credit limit ($1, 579.) and the purchase was denied. I phoned Citi and they said the ONLY answer was to UP my credit limit. After unfreezing access at Experian and spending the better part of an hour on the line with three Citi agents, I was denied the slight $2, 000 credit limit, having only asked the limit be increased by $500. The reason? Too little credit information. I bought my car outright in 2017 and have no mortgage so aside from the Citi card and an American Express, my e-paper trail may be slight. But Citi might have used my track record WITH THEM at a minimum.
I wrote to Costco thinking they’d want to know. I’ve had no reply.
I’m rethinking these relationships and their actual vs perceived benefit to me.
Forget about warranty coverage through Citi, the process is designed to make the consumer spend so much time & actual $ to get a repair quote.
First warranty claim:
Refrigerator - No repair shop will come out without a repair estimate fee, makes sense for them as they are spending time and energy to come up with a fixed price quote. After spending this money, it's up to Citi to accept/decline claim. They declined as repair was not covered... Guess this was my mistake not reading fine print but again, be prepared to pay for the repair quote, which is NOT covered by CIti even if the claim was to go through.
Second claim:
Samsung Watch, 2 years old, under warranty from Citi with a 2 years extension beyond 1st year.
The same requirement, get a quote for repair. The only way to get a quote on a watch is to pay to ship to Samsung (local phone repair centers will not repair watches), this cost is not refundable. Samsung puts an $89 hold on a credit card (min repair fee), and the customer is stuck coordinating Samsung and Citi as you have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks on warranty claims... Samsung won't hold the watch, needs you to authorize repair or shipping return (fee)...
Does this sound like a warranty or nightmare card?
customer service
Yesterday, I made the mistake of going to Costco with a friend who was a member. While I was there, I picked up a couple things I needed, while he picked up what he went there for. We then went to the ridiculously long checkout lines to pay for our things.
As Costco has finally gotten around to accepting visa credit cards, I had brought my credit cards with me. As he drove us in his car, I did not bring my drivers license because I wasn't driving.
The cashier refused to accept my Bank of America visa card because I did not bring my drivers license. The manager was called over. This would be the manager who has no clue what the difference is between a debit card and a credit card. This would be the manager who has no clue that debit cards use PINs and credit cards do not.
Because my credit cards do not use a PIN, the manager all but accused me of having stolen the credit card from somebody's wallet and I was using stolen credit cards, I was not allowed to buy anything.
Needless to say, I will not be shopping at that store again.
Who goes out without ID? You take your credit or debit cards with you but no ID? Come on. Most places these days are going back to the old school way of doing business. Too many people using stolen credit and debit cards has all but crippled retailers. And how would he know that you did not steal the card? Without ID he has no idea who you are. Had someone stolen your cards and they did not ask for ID you would be here complaining that they did not check ID.
They did their job. You did not. YOU gave bad service, not them.
credit cards
I just left Costco. Tried to use my Citi Bank Master Card & was told only Visa cards may be used. I had a Citi Visa card & was issued a Master Card without my asking. I assumed it would be good at Costco. I was told that you would only take cash or a check. I find this very inconvenient. As a stockholder in the company I feel this can only lead to theft and checks being returned as not being able to be cashed.
As a stockholder I would think you would know that Costco has been all over the news with their VISA change. They no longer accept any card BUT Visa. Maybe you should read some of those stock mailings they send you.
costco coupon offers after online order
I am a longtime member and very dissatisfied with a "bait and switch" scheme that Costco is obviously participating in with other third parties. I made a purchase online and was offered a coupon deal to purchase a product for shipping only. After I took advantage of the offer, I was billed for the shipping and then immediately billed for an auto ship program with the third party.
I take issue with Costco for networking the offer and there by supporting this "Bait and Switch" Scheme. I am going to be reporting Costco and the third party to the Better Business Bureau.
I take issue with people who complain about this situation and do not take responsibility for their own mistakes. Every single one of these offers has a disclosure that clearly states you will be signing up for a membership or an auto service. You have to UNCHECK the box to avoid it. If you uncheck the box, however, you do not qualify for the 'free' item. You have to agree to this before you can continue.
Blame yourself.
credit card
I have been trying for two days to shop at Ctco! Yesterday took forever to complete the membership because computers kept going down. Finally got the membership then had to apply for a Visa card, two hours later we left as they said Visa was down and couldn't approve us for a card. Had to run home to get the check book to pay for our membership, this all took a total of 3 hours and 40 minutes and we still could not shop at Costco! They told us to come back today for the Visa card. Got there right at 10:00 am waited in line for 35 minutes, finally got approved for a Visa card and was ready to shop! But wait they can't print out a temporary Visa card because Citi Visa won't let them, tried 4 times and no go! Went to my car and called Citi Visa, they said they are not down and have no problem at their end, has to be Costco problem. Visa said I should go back in and tell them to try again. Went back in told them what Citi Visa said so they tried again, no go, they Cailed Costco's IT person and said they were having no problem that is Visa fault! This took a total of another 2hours and 50 minutes! WITH THAT MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO OUR CAR AND DROVE TO SAM'S CLUB,
Need to get this right, lot of angry people there!
credit card visa
I think you have a much bigger problem coming than the known inept transfer to Citi Visa. My card and access to my account went smooth enough. Now for a much more serious problem when I attempted to use card for any charge more than a McDonald's meal( which went through). . All larger charges were denied. These were not high dollar purchases . After waiting several hours for a Citi rep I explained the situation and after much discussion I was told I would have to get used to the denials as I had no previous track record with Citi. I have sterling credit but that does not seem to matter. Their computer makes the decisions. What did you dump on us?
costco citi credit card
I am long-term, staunch and loyal Costco member…UNTIL NOW! Costco made a HUGE mistake in partnering with Citi.
The two companies couldn’t be more opposite from one another. Costco has always been very Member Centric and does anything and everything to keep us members happy…Very few companies compare to Costco when it comes to treating its members and employees like Gold.
Citi on the other hand, has a notorious reputation for operating with a Bullyboy mentality/culture whereby its customers are merely meaningless numbers to be abused in any way possible. This is common among the top 10 national banks…Citi, at number 6, just takes abusing its customers and not caring about anything other than its profits to a whole other level.
I spent over an hour waiting on the phone or getting bounced from one rude person to another trying to get an answer to a simple question about linking my spouses Costco Citi card with mine within the online banking system.
Citi’s online account management tools are absolutely HORRIBLE! You would think a bank this size would have slick technology…They DON’T.
Shame on Costco for not vetting out Citi more thoroughly and subjecting us to the pain and misery that is Citi.
Citibank posted a balance on line for our new account and neglected to post a month of charges that supposedly caused our balance to be over our credit limit. That is like going into a store and the clerk says you owe me $100 but she does not tell you what for. A manager of Citibank directed me on their website to places that did not do what he said they would do. I have to wait for that manager to mail me the charges that are not posted on line yet the mysterious high total is posted on line. Makes no sense. In over 4 years of using our Costco American Express we never went over our credit line limit and I believe we still haven't.
Your issue is not clear. Linking two credit cards to the same online banking account depends on how the cards were open, and whether they are single or joint accounts vs whether your bank account is a single or joint account.
More information is needed. You slam two businesses over your inability to link accounts. Answer a few questions. Is your husband's card a joint account card? Or a single card? Were they opened under the same account or separate accounts. Depending on how the online system is set for you, if you have a joint account, with each of having separate cards, then his card will show under his profile, and yours will show under yours. Only joint cards will show on the main account page.
samples
My boyfriend and I went to Costco Thursday 6/9/2016 around 4:30 pm to pick up a few supplies for camping. We sampled 3 different things. One was pulled pork, and the other 2 were chicken. One of the chicken was a breaded nugget type and the other was a piece of chicken breast I believe served with Tzatziki sauce. We both woke up around 12:30 am sick. We got food poisoning from the samples. The only other thing we had eaten was a 11:30 am Thursday. That was our lunch. I believe it came from under cooked chicken. I believe the pulled pork was already cooked and then frozen. Never eating chicken samples there again. Disappointed in Costco
Just noticed your chicken had Tzaziki sauce. Did you spend any time out in the heat after eating the Tzaziki? I bet that did it. Dairy and hot sun do not mix well.
What did you eat the three to five days before? It is a proven scientific fact that with food poisoning it is hard to identify the source unless multiple people eat the same thing and have the same symptoms. It is also a scientific fact that the bacteria for food poisoning can stay in your system for up to a week before making you ill. Think of it like a trigger. You eat chicken today, and it was a tad spoiled, but you did not notice in the taste and you do not get sick. Then a few days later you eat ice cream and WHAM...instant poop session. Sometimes, it ain't the ice cream you ate two hours ago. It is the bacteria in the chicken you ate days ago that interacted with the bacteria in dairy that got you.
Feel better. But be realistic. Unless there are multiple reports of food poisoning from Costco you really can not prove where you got it from.
manager, bagger and,checker
I am an Executive Member At Costco I am also a business owner in Eldorado County.
I have been shopping at the Costco in Folsom Sacramento for four years. When you notice every person being a little ruder than the last time you shopped . Everyone including older people have no manners when maneuvering the carts it half resembles the L.A. riots. My grandparents taught me to always be polite, respect others space and to wait your turn. I am a pretty big guy I weigh over 200 pounds but, this doesn't seem to stop people from trying to run me over any chance they get. Yesterday I was in line trying to make sure the delicate items go on the belt last to make sure they don't get crushed. Im spending a thousand dollars on high quality organic food. The bagger begins using her body language to bully me out of the way. By the way she weighs about 110 lbs and is very young. I continued to remove my items from cart and she grabbed it and hit me with it. I immediately asked her to look out and please go and manage the other cart. The checker asked her what happened and she rolled her eyes and made a psshhhhhhhh sound with her mouth and made a stupid face while rolling her eyes. I spoke up to the checker that the problem is that she just hit me with the cart. The checker said it was an accident with an attitude. After that the bagger and checker began to slam my food into the cart, smashing fruit, placing items on their side so they can leak out and being downright disrespectful. The checker asked if there was a problem with an attitude again. My partner was explaining that these items are delicate and cannot be placed under 10 lbs of frozen meat. Then she bullied my partner out of the way. Instead of apologizing to to the customer a spiteful silence ensued. The last thing I would like to address is the new manager he is young and seems to have an issue. When I went over to get a hold item slip from customer service he walked closely to me with his chest out and pushed past me without saying excuse me. Obviously upper management needs to explain that the employees are a vital part of this multi million dollar corporation. Not being tough and having an attitude. Customer service is the most important aspect to any company. The previous manager whom was very polite. She didn't seem to have a problem with someone asking for a hold item slip. The overall attitude of the store has changed and it is now ultimately rubbing off on the customers. Eventually this will lead to the downfall of the location deterring people from wanting to shop there. I would like to see a noticeable difference in the employee attitude. Especially managers they set an example. This means quit puffing your chest out at people. If you notice a problem with your checker don't just stand there with an attitude. Please, thank you, excuse me, I apologize, I understand. Costco need to focus on customer service equally as it focuses on all other aspects of growth. Whole Foods is a great example of the overall attitude necessary. Infact due to situations like this whole foods will eventually catch wind of this and start supplying a product for the same price you don't have to buy in bulk and you get treated like a normal person infact people are nice to you.

membership customer service
So, we went shopping yesterday and my husband's card doesn't seem to work. The cashier advised us to go to membership and have the problem fixed. At the membership, I spoke to "STACEY" and explained her the problem. She checked the card and says it's working. But I keep telling her that at the cash register it didn't work when we tried to use it. She was very rude. She didn't want to look into the problem any further since she said I asked her a question and she's given me an answer, if I don't believe her then I can just talk to her manager she said. So that said, she called her manager, I didn't get her name but same, an employee with attitude, she just walk into me and didn't say anything but just look at me with a face like "what's the problem?" So then again, I explained what was wrong with the card one more time. So then she check the card herself then she said it's working, but then again I said it didnt work in the register when they scanned it. I asked her what does she suggest that needs to be done then since they just looking at me annoyed that I keep insisting it doesn't work. She said she can try it on the register herself so I said "PLEASE" then she just walk away without telling anything.. Then she found out the card doesn't work right! This STACEY and her manager are very rude and have a horrible customer service! It's a very bad experience for me making me look like a stupid person and doesn't know what I'm talking about.
So who is right? The ones who check the card and it works fine? Or the register where the card didn't work? You equate confusion with rudeness.
tire department
Hi;
I am a happy customer member since 1989. Yesterday was the first time which I was very surprised and frustrated by my encounter to the tire department at San Jose Costco (1705 Automation).
Had a flat tire which I asked for repair, and was told by the tire department supervisor that takes "5 hours" to get the car in. With this ridicules comment I was forced to leave the store and go to a private repair shop and within 10 minutes I was driving out of the shop with my spare on. I believe the Costco is loosing its magical grip on this department since while selling thousands of tires, have not seen any expansion or improvements in tire department. Their first priority should be with the people who already has purchased the tires and they are bond by their agreements for supporting them, and if they can not fulfill this requirement, they have to stop selling to new customers. This bitter experience which took time and money made me wonder that maybe Costco also is bending toward other stores in Bay Area who does not give a damn to customers!. employment
I have a friend who applied for a job. Once he went through 3 interviews and the next time 2 and didn't get hired. Yesterday he went in there and wanted to know if he did something wrong. He was told it wouldn't do him any good to apply again cause their computer system says you weren't hired before so they don't even look at your application. So he comes out and says we come here weekly and I have never seen a person of color working here. I said I know. Your the wrong color for costco. Maybe we need to stop giving them money.
customer service/employees/costco, bunker hill houston tx
Customer Service and employees are rude and discriminate against minority groups. It is not the fist time I go to this specific location and I feel like Im treated as a criminal. The questions and the looks that they give us are uncomfortable. As a member I don't fell welcome at this branch. I understand that this store is an area with a high latino population, and/or may have had several theft incidents, but that doesn't mean that they have to generalise. I'm a really hardworking person that earns pretty descent money and have no need of doing any wrong. If Costco is so worried about people stealing from their stores, they should do a criminal background check on every member, for Costco's peace of mind, and the members too. I'm not going to spend my hard earned money on a company that doesn't appreciate their customers, no matter what ethnic background they come from, and or simply judge people by their looks. I've been to other locations in Houston and I have NEVER encounter this problem.
The only people this sends to competitors are the thieves. The only people offended by this are thieves. If you are doing nothing wrong you would not notice them watching you.
Who ever made the above comment is indicative of the bad manners of Costco employees that should be dismissed for their arrogance towards customers. Costco employees act like we are lucky to shop there, Costco corporate better get a handle on this growing problem that's sending your customers to your competitors.
Think about it like this: watching for theft keeps the prices low. Thank them for saving you money. If you are not stealing you have nothing to worry about. I watch everybody in my store.
farm raised fish
I've complained to management at the Costco store in St. Peters MO that their fish are all farm raised except for the occasional Canadian Walleye fish.
The person was totally unaware of it and didn't really care.
A few days later I see a video clip of a Costco CEO bragging about how they test everything over and over for quality. He even said that they sold mostly wild caught fish. That was a lie.
Check out this info about Costco's farm raised fish. The story also leads right back to Monsanto.

customer service is a disaster!
Bought a rug from Costco about two months ago and still nothing. I wasted hours on phone trying to get some info about the status of my order. Every time I called I was put on hold for about 30 minutes and then disconnected. Called again and they said sorry and told that they had some sort of problem and promised to contact me with their manager. Then I was put on hold again and nothing happened. I want to know where my rug is and when it will show up!
pharmacist
Suzanne the Costco Norwalk store seems to believe she is a DEA agent. She refused to refill my prescription for debilitating back muscle spasms. I have been using Costco for years to buy my prescriptions. I have Lupus and am a full time caregiver to my Brain Injured 38 year old son & at 60 years old I cetainly don't think it's her job to accuse me of either taking one or two too many muscle spasm medication or to assume I'm selling them.
Costco at times have given me my prescription a day early while picking up other prescriptions. So she said she went back a few months and noticed they have given me my medication early on two different occasions. So she figures I don't need to pick up this months refill because I should have left over pills. SHE DECIDES THAT? She isn't my doctor and I told her that wasn't her job. Her job is to fill my doctors prescription on time each month and not to speculate if I have any left over. She informs me that it is in fact her job to do just so.
So I told her to get all my latest prescriptions renewals ready that I was coming in to get them and changing my pharmacy.
She said 'fine.'
I cannot believe the audacity and demoralizing attitude of this person.
I hope Costco's CEO appreciates this persons ability to attack the character of their customers.
Wine is Good is correct. We are taught to have a fiduciary responsibility towards our patients and their safety. All those who claim that "whatever the doctor wrote is what should be filled and you cannot deny it" are flat-out misguided. In the United States, we have a system of checks and balances, to keep doctors from incorrectly prescribing medications to patients.
It is her duty, and legal responsibility to know and question you. Her license and possible jail term depends on it. If you have an issue with a pharmacist doing their legal job, then you should notify the DEA and complain to them. If you get early fills, then you should have medication left over. Your injuries, and your son's injuries do not excuse you from the law.
