Country Club Hospitality & Holidays False promises for the service and facilities to be provided

Dear Sir,
I have explained each and every details of the fraud that happened with me .

How it Started?
I got a call from the country club, Sarjapur road, on 3rd March Morning saying that you are the lucky winner and they have few gifts for me which I should pick on same day from them . I asked them how I won this ? Then I recollected that I have filled one coupon a week back in Shoppers stop parking. The lady of country club told me over a call that you need to come empty handed and empty pocket, collect the gifts and it will take 30 minis of your time.
Somehow I thought lets go and find out. So I went there with my wife around 6 pm in the evening. The moment I entered, a customer sales person told me that they have one presentation for me, just after that I can collect my free gifts . And hence presentation (one on one discussion started)
In presentation, they first asked us what's out vacation plan for this year, where are we planning to go like domestic or international. Then they started with explain their membership plan.
Sir, I have attached in the mail the plan/facilities offered by them as its one page full I have attached it separately. They said you can avail all these facilities just by paying Ra's 59005/- and using credit card using 48 months installment with no processing fee and No interest .
How I fall in trap
I and my wife was very tempted with number of facilities provided and that too with good payment plan of 48 months. And we thought that the offer is genuine looking at their big resort and broached they showed us.
They also mentioned that you are among 116 lucky families and this offers lasts only for today . Even tomorrow it will not be available. SO they did not give us time to think on the offer. It was a complete psychological trap.
We were so tempted by their way of talking and marketing strategy that we chose to buy their membership and I swiped my SBI credit card paying them 59005 Ra's .
Same day they made us sign the agreement. BUT, the facilities mentioned in the agreement was totally different from what they mentioned verbally . I asked them the same question . They said its just a formality and I will get a welcome Kit from country club within 7 days which will contain all the list of facilities they promised before selling the membership. I thought its ok and I signed the agreement and EMI form.

Next day
I was just browsing the Internet and thought of looking at the reviews of country club/country vacation.
I was shocked to see that this company is fraud and they are making fool of people since last many years. Many cases have been booked against them not only in Karnataka, across India also. Even not only in India across world. It did not take a long time for me to understand that I am a victim of fraud and my money is gone.
What I came to know from Internet about country club/vacation
They call people/families only for getting their gift. Tempt them to take their membership . And never ever fulfil their promises. And best part for them is, facilities mentioned in the agreement are different from what they promised to offer before selling the membership.
They never convert the payment option into EMI . I also called my bank and confirmed this from them. They said we did not get any request from merchant (country club)
They fooled many families in past and continuing to do so in future.
What promises they broke in last 3 days after taking membership
Apart from that they also said that I will get a call from their Bangalore HQ, based out of Koramangala and they will explain all the facilitates again on 6th March that is Monday. Till today I did not receive a call from them. They also sent mobile application using which I can access their facilities . My log in should have been enabled on same day of buying membership that is 3rd March 2017, its still yet to happen. I also asked them that I want to book my holiday on April 22, 2017 . They promised me that the travel agent will come to my place by 6th March, its also not happened. The EMI form is not submitted to bank.
What I did
I went to their office on Sunday(5th March) and talked to the sales manager ( the same person who explained about the membership facilities on 3rd March). I discussed all the facilities again with him. But this time I did a video and audio recording of the same with the help of my wife.
I also dropped them a mail (attached in the email) saying that these are the facilities you promised to offer before selling the membership . Please reply back on the mail saying that you accept this or else I will cancel the membership and the whole amount will get refunded. I gave them day's time (yesterday) to reply back. And as expected they did not respond.
Ray Of Hope
Through Internet I came across a WhatsApp group of other victims from Bangalore and across the country. Trust me sir there are many like me from good family. Country club has taken different amount (60K, 1.5L, 2.5L etc) from them offering false promises.
The WhatsApp group admin is the social activist of NGO based out of Mumbai. The group suggested me that do following steps to get your money back
 Send the cancellation mail to country club and ask them to refund money back to your account
 File a transaction dispute with bank and give them the necessary proofs and Internet links of previous fraud.
 File a complaint with police and attach the copy of same to the transaction dispute.
Mostly by doing this I will get my money back. Many people have got money back like this. I also came across one person who used SBI for transaction and got money back . He shared his chargeback details of bank with me. I can use it for reference while filing for the transaction dispute.
They also advised me to do so as soon as possible as there is 10 days cooling period after signing the agreement as per Association of resort clubs of India.
They also told me that the agreement is void as all the points are in favor of country club.

What I did till today
 I sent them a mail (attached with this email – mail sent to country club on 6th March) containing all the promised facilities and asked them to reply back . They did not respond.
 I confirmed from my bank that EMI request is not yet received from country club
My Next step
 Send a cancellation of membership mail to country club
 File a complaint with police
 Attach the complaint and all necessary proof and file transaction dispute with SBI
Sir in this I need your view and guidance .

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Marketing (mal) practice - "no free lunch" guys

Country Club (CC) Rep will get hold of your name and number and then the usual script follows:
Sir/Ma'am, you have been selected as a lucky winner of our complimentary vacation voucher + 2 movie tickets. Please visit XYZ location to collect.

OK - so yesterday (23/02/2017) I had a similar experience. A south Indian female, Soumya (055XXXX5274) calls up from a DXB landline number with the same script. I hesitantly accept knowing 'There is no such thing as a free lunch' and there will be a catch.

Get to meet Mr. Imran @ the scheduled time of 4pm who talks me through a 1 hour session of Ratnagiri Plot (ek pe ek free!) along with the CC Lifetime Membership for a total of only AED 90, 000 (i.e. INR 16, 2000) up front payment. Then Mr. Khaja Syed (055XXXX4973) takes over for the next hour as his manager explaining the math. The usual script as I said - "one day offer; need to swipe your card today to block unit; once in a lifetime opportunity; limited slots..." - they try and really make sure you DO NOT leave their office till the card is swiped for minimum of 50%.

Funny - I hardly had much limit on my card I said but that too they would like to block. Now, I made it clear that such decisions I do not take on my own (btw, am a single 30 year old chap from Mumbai, India and the primary bread winner). I tell you this because they call the entire family so that they can entice the "decision-maker" - well thought of marketing (mal)practice.

Now I take their leave, which they VERY reluctantly allow, assuring them I shall return the same day evening. Then do my brief research, ask a few good people and tell Mr. Khaja over the phone that I may not go through with this deal BUT I would like my movie tickets + voucher. He is not too happy I tell you :)

I go to their office at 11:30pm, they give their sales pitch one last try while taking !15 minutes! to prepare my voucher + tickets, then hand me over a simple paper printout (voucher) and an envelope (movie tickets). I quickly exit, not willing to stay any longer. I feel this was a good decision at the end of the day and no harm done. Meanwhile, between 7pm - 11:30pm, Ms. Soumya (Dubai caller) who had promptly sent me the Abu Dhabi office location on whatsapp is reading my messages but not responding - fishy. Now the final straw:

The paper voucher - well, it needs some INR 7000 admin fee for booking + hotel taxes.
I checked the envelope today since I really didn't bother much the other day in my haste to leave - they had taken 15 minutes remember!
It was EMPTY !

I'm having the last laugh though. This final discovery really got me thanking my stars! I did lose out on my time though which is precious to each one of us and so I take time out to write down this detailed review.

I am Vijayapala Sinnathamby from Sri Lanka, i was asked by your Sri Lanka office to come for a presentation since i got an offer, and finally asked me to pay Rs. 55, 000 for a membership. From that day i have no communication with them and even the office is no more. Wanted my money back with interest, Seek your immediate action on this.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Membership cancellation

This is my worst experience with a service based company. The sweetness and the gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap n once your card is swiped; the way they step back is unbelievable. Following is the description of the incident that I have gone through with “country vacations, a division of country club (I) ltd: in oct 2016, I had been to sharjah expo where one nicely dressed guy asked me to fill up a lucky coupon. I filled it and knew that in a day or two’s time I will get a call for sure. And this is what exactly happened. Immediately on next day, I got a call from a lady informing that I won the lucky draw and two prizes are waiting for me – kitchen set, free vacation for a week for family (2 adults and 2 children) and was one of the luckiest one to get this gift as per lucky draw. I was informed that I need to visit their office country club fitness centre in madina mall along with my family. I was not willing to go as I don’t trust in these offers but still out of curiosity and day out, I went along with my 2 kids, mom and dad. I just wish my husband would have also accompanied us, and then we would have never ever fallen in this trap as he would have never agreed to it. We reached there and inquired about the gifts. The receptionist introduced us to jaman who offered me to attend a presentation that would take 45 mins. I asked that at what time they will start the presentation, he replied immediately after the I go inside the room. Inside, there were few number of tables with one sales guy/girl engaged with 2-3 couples on each table. The briefing about country vacations and country club with offer of tea/coffee started. Then they came out with their actual intention. They wanted me to become a country vacations member and started making offer. They tagged a price of 40000 dhs for membership with country vacations and lifetime membership of country club. I straight away denied the offer since I cannot afford to pay it. Jaman called his manager (Mr. Afroz) and they started bargaining with the price. They finally bought it down brought it down to 31000 dhs for 25 years of membership. They also told us that they will offer us lifetime membership at their new fitness centre to be opened is sharjah at sahara mall and taawun mall. We told give us time to think. We will decide and confirm the next day. But they told us this offer is a one-time offer which would expire the minute we step out from the room and is only for that particular day on the celebration of completing their 25 years of service. Both jaman and afroz, spoke so well and manipulated our minds with all positive things country club will offer, that we could not resist. The main issue for us was the big amount. So we cleared with jaman and afroz that is it possible to divide our membership into 6 (That is for my family, my dad and mom, my elder brother and his family, my younger brother and his family and for my sister in laws brothers family). They agreed and confirmed that we can do this and that each family will get their individual membership cards which they can use as and when. And also the main reason to agree was to go on a family trip on the cruise, as my mom loves to go on cruises. We confirmed from jaman and afroz if they offer cruise as well. And they agreed. We told them we want to go to australia by cruise if all goes well. They asked us to leave it to them to plan our australia trip using their membership and after return, if we do not like the service, we can contact them to cancel our membership. I guess we were one of the few people who got caught on their trap as the offer was lucrative, we finally inquired about the cancellation part again where they told us that at any point of time we can sell our membership (That we considered as cancellation since selling itself means our member is being cancelled and we no longer have into any further contract with them). He also told that we can also transfer this membership to any of our family members. They said that is ok and they will arrange for our travel plan after all the membership cards are ready. We asked them the payment method and they gave us option of emi of either 12 months or 24 months. And we agreed for 24 months emi. None of our family members have a credit card other than my dad. And he was mad the ‘bali ka bakra’ that unlucky day. But, unfortunately his credit limit on his city bank credit card was only 21 for that particular month. So, I offered for the deduction of 11000 dhs through my emirates nbd debit card. And it was told that the next month when my dad gets his credit limit back, they will reimburse me the 11000 dhs and will deduct it from his credit card again. They swiped my card even before signing the agreement and also while signing when I wanted to go through the agreement but they did not allow us to do so saying that “madam, need not worry. It has all the information that we have discussed now and you can read it later. You need not worry, we will take care of everything and we are here to give you the best services. Cv is a service based company and your satisfaction is our priority” when I asked repeatedly if I can cancel the membership if I am not satisfied, they said that I don’t need to worry on that front and that it can be done easily hassle-free. They were in a big hurry as it was 9 pm and time for them to close their office. They did not even give us time to go through the documents. They told they will handle everything once we sign the documents. They did not even for once tell us that refund is not at all possible. They also offered us a discount on flight tickets if we book through them. They told I will receive a the membership cards for me, my husband, 2 kids, mom and dad in 7-10 working days. And for the cards of the remaining members I have to send them and email with all the members full name, id card copies and date of birth. Jaman told us that we will get that I will receive a call from their head office immediately and I have to tell that I have made the payment of 31500 dhs and not 31000. I was also not handed over the original or copy of the agreement and the receipts of the deduction on the credit and debit card. And to top it all, we were offered for a free buffet lunch for all the joining family members. This was like the icing on the cake. My other family members were surprised as well as shocked to see such a treatment frm country club to its members. I immediately got a call from head office welcoming me to join the membership in their club. They too never spoke anything about no refund policy or cool off period. From the very next day, I have been following up with jaman and afroz regarding our emi. As, my dad received no message from his bank that the money he swiped for will be deducted in 24 installments. Infact the full amount of 21000 dhs was deducted from his credit card at once and 11000 dhs frm my debit card. Within 2 weeks we received our membership cards. I kept on following up regarding the cards for my other family members. As, without the cards, none of them can start to us the services. And, they kept telling us that it is under process. 1 month had passed by, and we got still no information about our emi and other cards. Finally, I stopped receiving replies from the manager afroz from 29th nov. He had disappeared. And anything you ask to the agent jaman, he puts it up on the head of afroz. Saying that afroz told all this and not he, so we should contact afroz. But, what to do if afroz is not replying back. This is when we realized that we have been cheated. We were so upset thinking that we have lost my hard earned money. I tried following up wherever possible. But no one seemed to understand my situation and no one bothered to get back and help us. Messages on whatsapp were not replied to and then calls made multiple times for explanation were also not answered. Every time jaman came up with some different story. He told that afroz had travelled on emergency ground and could not reply back. But till date, that is even after 4 months, he has not replied back. He even does not have the courtesy to call back and check if our isses have been resolved. They were so quick in deduction of money. It was done instantly. But to answer queries, they have no time or courtesy. On further discussions I found out that the sales team has made a lot of false promises. I called customer care and inquired about the same. Then they gave me contact number for mr. Bashir who is I think the area sales manager. After continuous messages to him on whats app and calls on his mobile, he finally agreed to meet us to try to resolve the issue. I along with my mom and dad went to meet bashir at his office in karama. There he told other than refund if I have anything else to discuss, I could. As refund is not at all possible. But I tried to explain to him that we were never informed that refund is not possible. And what is our mistake in this. I told him that we did not receive the agreement copy or the payment receipts. He spoke to the customer service lady yashika and told to forward me. I asked him what about the cards of our other family memebers. He said this is against the rules to give membership to so many family members. I told him that I had clearly asked jaman and afroz about this, and they agreed. So, bashir said its not possible. And now he will raise a new request for all individual family members and all will get separate cards. And that I have to send them email with other members id copies and date of birth. I told him, this I had already sent the next day of becoming a member that is 1.5 months back. And, I also asked him about the emi. He gave me an option that my dad will have to reswipe his credit card with the full amount of 31000 dhs and then country club will issue a postdated cheque of the same amount to my dad. But, now my dad already being cheated does not want to reswipe his credit card. But, then they have no other option to convert the deducted amount to emi now. But is this our issue. But, bashir was in no mood to listen other than with this option. The next day I sent the email with details of all other members, but still after more 1.5 months, bashir is telling it is under process as it needs many approvals which they have got now. He also advised me that till the other members do not get their cards, they can use the cards which are already ready. But my brother and his wife tried to use my card in the bur dubai fitness centre, and they were denied access. This is so annoying. By now, all the other family members have lost complete faith in country club and their agents. No staff is ready and willing to help. I waited for a week, still yashika had not sent my agreement copies. Then finally, I got hold of some other lady and she sent me the agreement copy.In it, 1 clause helped beneficial for us. Unfortunately, my dad also got retired from his work after 40 years of service as he had completed 60 years of age. This was the most turning point for us. As my mom and dad will now move back to india and will not be able to make the payment, we wery upset. And accepted some person to understand our plight. How do they expect my dad to reswipe his credit card when he is not on job any more. And, also while going through the agreement I came across one point.

When my dad and mom have relocated, why cannot I get a refund on the basis of the above mentioned point. From oct 2016 till date I have been regularly behind them following about the refund, emi deduction and cards for the other members. But none of it has been answered to.
My question is when they have failed to follow the ethical business practices and followed all unfair trade practices (False offerings, false commitments, hidden policies) , why I am being forced to continue with their membership. I have not availed any of their services and they have failed to become trustworthy so I am not liable to pay them any amount. I have sent them a detailed complaint letter with the cancellation request.In return, I got no clarifications on my inquiries. Mr. Bashir is now telling us to by a property against the money we have given. But, we will not get refund. He is forcing us to continue the service and telling that the purchase agreement has no clause for cancellation. I am still fighting with them to get my hard earned money back but not got or getting any helpful response from them. I am having stressful days since the day I visited this company. Could not concentrate on my work. As a citizen of india, I would like to bring this wrong act into the notice of all indians. Please do not get into the trap of this illegal act. I have been chasing them but those company professionals are playing tricks with me now. I have also sent mails to their branch and corporate office and waiting to get any helpful response from them. But I am surprised to see how they have completed their 25 years of service by cheating the peoples. This is also to raise the concerned authorities to take action and stop such kind of companies to deceive people like me. They not only hide information, misguide but also doing crime which is going unnoticed. We all are well aware that country vacations (Cv) denies providing any cooling-off period to its members as per the regulations set by airda and clearly states that the membership amount is non-refundable. Ccil/country vacation used to be a member of airda (All india resorts development association) before and all airda members has to obliged the airda 10days cooling off period, during which customer has the right to withdraw his membership and get his refund. (If you have the fraudulent intentions and pathetic service towards your customers, obviously customer would like to disassociate themselves and the same is happening in ccil case. So, they want to safeguard their money at any cost without giving standard services and disassociated itself from airda in last quarter in order to not follow the cooling off period rule. There was also a case filed against cv / ccil; in the consumer forum ludhiana judgement in victim's case (Case no.553, dt.05.07.2012) the hon’ble judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “further the plea taken by the ops (Country vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (Where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the ops got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. I was also not handed over the original or copy of the agreement and the receipts of the deduction on the credit and debit card. And to top it all, we were offered for a free buffet lunch for all the joining family members. This was like the icing on the cake. My other family members were surprised as well as shocked to see such a treatment frm country club to its members. I immediately got a call from head office welcoming me to join the membership in their club. They too never spoke anything about no refund policy or cool off period. From the very next day, I have been following up with Jaman and Afroz regarding our EMI. As, my dad received no message from his bank that the money he swiped for will be deducted in 24 installments. Infact the full amount of 21000 dhs was deducted from his credit card at once and 11000 dhs frm my debit card. Within 2 weeks we received our membership cards. I kept on following up regarding the cards for my other family members. As, without the cards, none of them can start to us the services. And, they kept telling us that it is under process. 1 month had passed by, and we got still no information about our EMI and other cards. Finally, I stopped receiving replies from the manager Afroz from 29th Nov. He had disappeared. And anything you ask to the agent Jaman, he puts it up on the head of Afroz. Saying that Afroz told all this and not he, so we should contact Afroz. But, what to do if Afroz is not replying back. This is when we realized that we have been cheated. We were so upset thinking that we have lost my hard earned money. I tried following up wherever possible. But no one seemed to understand my situation and no one bothered to get back and help us. Messages on whatsapp were not replied to and then calls made multiple times for explanation were also not answered. Every time Jaman came up with some different story. He told that Afroz had travelled on emergency ground and could not reply back. But till date, that is even after 4 months, he has not replied back. He even does not have the courtesy to call back and check if our isses have been resolved. They were so quick in deduction of money. It was done instantly. But to answer queries, they have no time or courtesy. On further discussions I found out that the Sales team has made a lot of false promises. I called customer care and inquired about the same. Then they gave me contact number for Mr. Bashir who is I think the area sales manager. After continuous messages to him on whats app and calls on his mobile, he finally agreed to meet us to try to resolve the issue. I along with my mom and dad went to meet Bashir at his office in Karama. There he told other than refund if I have anything else to discuss, I could. As refund is not at all possible. But I tried to explain to him that we were never informed that refund is not possible. And what is our mistake in this. I told him that we did not receive the agreement copy or the payment receipts. He spoke to the customer service lady Yashika and told to forward me. I asked him what about the cards of our other family memebers. He said this is against the rules to give membership to so many family members. I told him that I had clearly asked Jaman and Afroz about this, and they agreed. So, Bashir said its not possible. And now he will raise a new request for all individual family members and all will get separate cards. And that I have to send them email with other members ID copies and date of birth. I told him, this I had already sent the next day of becoming a member that is 1.5 months back. And, I also asked him about the EMI. He gave me an option that my dad will have to reswipe his credit card with the full amount of 31000 dhs and then country club will issue a postdated cheque of the same amount to my dad. But, now my dad already being cheated does not want to reswipe his credit card. But, then they have no other option to convert the deducted amount to EMI now. But is this our issue. But, Bashir was in no mood to listen other than with this option. The next day I sent the email with details of all other members, but still after more 1.5 months, Bashir is telling it is under process as it needs many approvals which they have got now. He also advised me that till the other members do not get their cards, they can use the cards which are already ready. But my brother and his wife tried to use my card in the Bur Dubai Fitness Centre, and they were denied access. This is so annoying. By now, all the other family members have lost complete faith in country club and their agents. No staff is ready and willing to help. I waited for a week, still Yashika had not sent my agreement copies. Then finally, I got hold of some other lady and she sent me the agreement copy. In it, 1 clause helped beneficial for us. Unfortunately, my dad also got retired from his work after 40 years of service as he had completed 60 years of age. This was the most turning point for us. As my mom and dad will now move back to India and will not be able to make the payment, we wery upset. And accepted some person to understand our plight. How do they expect my dad to reswipe his credit card when he is not on job any more. And, also while going through the agreement I came across one point.

When my dad and mom have relocated, why cannot I get a refund on the basis of the above mentioned point.From Oct 2016 till date I have been regularly behind them following about the refund, EMI deduction and cards for the other members. But none of it has been answered to.
My question is when they have failed to fulfil their commitments, why I am being forced to continue with their membership. I have not availed any of their services and they have failed to become trustworthy. I have sent them a detailed complaint letter with the cancellation request. In return, I got no clarifications on my inquiries. Only response that no refund. This is it. There has to be some way out from all this, right. Mr. Bashir is now telling us to by a property against the money we have given. But, we will not get refund. He is forcing us to continue the service and telling that the purchase agreement has no clause for cancellation. I am still fighting with them to get my hard earned money back but not got or getting any helpful response from them. I am having stressful days since the day I visited this company. I cannot even concentrate on my work. Every day I am sending them messages, emails, call..But, I have still not got a proper response. I have been chasing them for long now. I have also sent mails to their branch and corporate office and waiting to get any helpful response from them. But I am surprised to see how they have completed their 25 years of service by doing all this. This is also to raise the concerned authorities to take some action. They not only hide information but misguide too. Please help me to get my money back since this a purely a cheating that has happened to me. Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Fraudulent commitment by country club agent to become member

My membership no is - CCMU69TCLUB54899 and I belong to Mumbai .
Salesmen of country club made false claim to become me a member. He claimed that Thane Branch of Country Club has many Indoor games & all festivals are celebrated at their convention hall in Thane. Post I paid membership fees & visited Thane Branch, I found that it was only gymnasium & there was no indoor games facility & convention hall for arranging parties for festivals etc. Only a gymnasium is of no use to me & immediately I mailed to Country Club for refund, but since past 6 months I have not got any response from them.
Country Club is a fraudulent company who do not want to serve anything to its members, once they are able to fool them & collect membership fees. When I contacted salesman, he spoke with me very rudely & told me they won’t refund my fees.
With the lower membership fees than what they collected from me, they also gave 5 years holidays to my friend.
While I have sent various e mails to Country Club, they are not accepting the fraud done by their agents & not refunding my money.
I am awaiting for refund of my membership fees for the past 6 months.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Polt cheating by country club abudhabi

Hi I have membership of country club Abu dhabi on 14-07-2014 membership # CVAUH82CLUB30MU82. I purchased a plot in country club townships . One employee of country club Mr. Binu Bruno cheated me. After that he convinced me for a plot in Varna bhoomi Sholayur at Palakkad. He called me everyday for payment. I paid the amount. We saw the plot but its totally different as they told. The plot were in Hill area and its not transferable land. We informed to cancel the processing but they are not ready to refund the money and they convince to take another plot in Hyderabad. Now 2 years finished till now registration not done. We have paid almost AED. 40, 000/- & Indian Rs.60, 000/- for registration fee. Now we following up with Mr. Akbar Syed not giving proper reply. He always telling calling back but not replying properly. We requested to refund the money, but no response till now.

We started this plot payment process on 08-01-2015

We lost the faith with country club Abu Dhabi and need the money return back.

I am venkatesh i got a call from counrty club they told you won home furniture gifts and vocations coupons please come with your wife and collect then i went .once i reached to country club they invited us into one room they told before collecting gifts listen about my company features and offers then u can collect your gifts then i went into room some four peoples sited around us they are telling about their company they told u have to pay 200rs per month total 12500(five years per month 200 as a emi) u can use your counrty club services if you dont want to continue you can cancil your member ship then they asked money i gave my card before giving my card asked how much money you are swiping he told 200 i gave pin number simpliy he swiped 10000 .i asked why you swiped 10000 he told we took total money now only i gave permission to 200 but after collecting he swiped 10000, I am cheated by Country Club here in bangalore on 06-06-2016. my country club id (CVBG1TCLUB5LB221547) country club cheated person name dharshan ([protected]) .i gave permission to swipe 200 rs only to country club only but they swiped 10000rs after collecting pin from mine they hided swiping machine while swiping

Can you even imagine paying a tariff even after you have made payment of hefty membership charges. Welcome to country club,

I am not even sure, how this company is running till now, looks like there are many fools like me who is donating money to country club for bread and butter of their families.

How can i get trapped in this, i am ashamed of myself the day i had taken membership of country vacations.

Till today, i am just begging with them for vacations and they just call me for AMC payment, also they are increasing the AMC fee from next month. The facilities in all of their resort is below standard.

I would like to put a complaint against Country vacations International LLC, for giving me fake promises and not entertaining the request for my cancellation of membership.
One year back my husband got a call from Country club ( Mr. Rahul)Saying that my husband has been nominated for 6 nights & 7days free stay from country club anywhere in India based on the form filled by Mr. Rahul at Nahda Branch on his behalf. For collection this free voucher you need to come along with your whole family at Country Club Hotel, Dubai, UAE.

We went there on for enquiring about the same and the collection of Voucher. After reaching there Mr. Rahul staff of Country Club attended us & told us to attend the session to know about country club after which we will give you the free voucher. We sit with him to listen about country club.
In the discussion, Mr. Rahul started talking about country club membership for 25 Years in very nominal prices & covey the following benefits for whole life membership.
1. You will be eligible to get 6 Nights & 7 days stay anywhere in India or outside India up to 25 years + 5 year for 4 days and 3 nights (one in each year).
2. This holiday you can split in 2 holidays also (2N & 3 days).
3. He also told us you can quit at any time by giving some nominal charges.
4. They also told there will be activities for children such as drawing activities.
5. They also told us we will arrange birthday you and your children and marriage anniversary party free of cost.
6. If I am not satisfied, I can write a compliant letter to the office where I take the membership and can cancel the membership.

I send a mail to [protected]@countryclubdubai.com, [protected]@countryclub.com and [protected]@countryclubdubai.com, but there were no reply from them. I called the telephone numbers which were provided to me and the response was that they need to get the approval from the management.
Then I put a request on the country club website and electronic mail came to contact Mr. Saifullah (+971-[protected]/ [protected]). I contacted him and he told he will check with management and respond to me by mail.

from last so many months trying for transferring or cancel my membership but Mr. Afzal ( Sales Manager of country club ) is saying its not possible.

Please help me. So I am requesting you to help me to get my membership cancellation and payment refund.

Hi,

I want to cancel the Country Club Member ship - CVHYD6CLUB5LB217196, due to below issues, false, & fake promise made to me and my wife.

1.The Country Club sales executive made a false promise by telling us about the 12 or 24 months installments which they will provide with 0% processing fees and interest free EMI amount they promised Rs. 8, 333.33/- or 4, 166.66 pm. But now I am informed on confirmation call from country club that they are not giving any facility of that kind(proof - attached in mail- conversation with country club manager Ahmed).

2. The Country Club sale executive Afroz told us that, by using Country Club card you can get 40 – 50% discount on purchase of any item in shopping mall, online portal, travel, hotels etc.

3. The Country Club sale executive told us, you will get 2 movie tickets every month, you can rent out the holiday vacation, if you don’t want to use for that particular year and get the equivalent money value, paid to your bank account. Or you sale your membership at any point of time, and get your equivalent membership value which you paid and plus 10% increment each year(e.g if my membership is of 100000 rs [1 lac rupees], completed 1 year or 2 years then my membership will become 110000 rs [1 lakh ten thousand rupees] or 120000 rs [1 lakh twenty thousand rupees] )

Above all this promised are false. We haven’t received EMI interest, any movie ticket or not getting any discount also, this all commitment is made fraud to us. The above all promises is just to influence, and misrepresent us to take the Country Club membership.

Service Offered to me was not as per the country club sales executive offered me & Defective service quality on the basis of Dishonest, None Committed attitude and reckless intentions towards Customer.

So Please refund our hard earned money rupees 100000(1 lakh) with EMI interest.

Later on one Lavanya called me and informed that Mr. Abhilash has nominated you to collect this free voucher you need to come along with your whole family at Country Club Hotel, Dubai, UAE.
So we went there on for enquiring about the same and the collection of Voucher. After reaching there Mr. Rakesh Kollth staff of Country Club attended us & told us to attend the session to know about country club after which we will give you the free voucher. We sit with him to listen about country club.
In the discussion, Mr. Rakesh started talking about country club membership for 25 Years in very nominal prices & covey the following benefits for whole life membership.
1. You will be eligible to get 6 Nights & 7 days stay anywhere in India or outside India up to 25 years + 5 year for 4 days and 3 nights (one in each year).

3. He told us there is fitness club in Sharjah where you can go for swimming, indoor games, gym and other activities for free of cost.
4. There will be AMC charges of 1200AED- which is applicable for Gym, Spa, and Swimming Pool etc. For which, I clearly asked him whether these facilities are available in Sharjah, and the answer was “yes”.
5. He also told us you can quit at any time by giving some nominal charges.
6. He told us that decision you need to make right now since this offer is valid for today only & it is due to completion of 25years of country club.
7 They also told for the kids facilities in the club they will arrange summer, winter and special camps for children in Sharjah, Rolla near where I am residing
8. They also told there will be activities for children such as drawing activities.
9. They also told us we will arrange birthday you and your children and marriage anniversary party free of cost.
10. If I am not satisfied, I can write a compliant letter to the office where I take the membership and can cancel the membership.

And many more benefits were explained to us. Then, he calls Mr. Majid (Line Manager) to explain about Membership Charges.
Mr. Majid offered 25yrs Membership in .31, 500/AED- & after offering discount of AED.3500/-.He also offer 1000 gift voucher of Malabar gold or LED TV. He offered the price of AED.31500/-. I told him. I don’t have sufficient credit limit in my credit card. Mr. told us, that you can pay AED 30, 000 now for which again I said no since I need to pay credit card bill in one go in the coming month. Then Mr. Rakesh started to offer the EMI options, he told me that we have the EMI options on Visa & Master cards for 36 months. We will convert the amount in EMI’s instalments which will not attract any interest or file charges. He also told you have to pay 970 AED per month for 36 month. Again I ask him about service tax, interest or file charges for reconfirmation & again Mr. Rakesh told me that “No service tax, no. interest or file charges”.
We have already agreement with the NBAD Bank for monthly EMI and you have to pay 970 per starting from the month of June.
I clearly told him my bank will not agree to give EMI and I will revert back. They told no problem, they will arrange a new credit card and all the money paid upfront will be returned to my account within 7 days and then I need to pay the EMI 970 for which will only start from the month of June 2016. And all these will be arranged by them and I need not bother about anything.
Based on these discussion I given them my credit card for payment of from my NBAD Bank & Emirates NBD Bank Credit cards to covert it in 36 Months EMI. After payment they ask me and my wife to sign one paper but not provided me enough time to read the same & I was also getting late. So both me and my wife signed by going through some Terms & conditions. For confirmation call, they told me that you confirm over call that you have purchased the membership in 31500 AED & everything was explained to me clearly. In between the call they asked me to sign one paper for which they told it is for some coupon and vouchers.
Back home, I checked in the document package they have given me to verify the contract and other details, there was none. Instead I found some vouchers and booklets and some of their contact details. From the booklet I found there is no club in Sharjah. Then I came to know there is something fishy and I got cheated.
. I try to call Mr. Rakesh sales representative Contact No: +971-[protected], and texted him to cancel my membership. He told me “No problem, tomorrow once I reach the office I will call.”
Then I checked in the document package they have given me to verify the contract and other details, there was none. Instead I found some vouchers and booklets and some of their contact details. From the booklet I found there is no club in Sharjah. Then I came to know there is something fishy and I got cheated.
I try to call Mr. Rakesh sales representative, and texted him to cancel my membership. He told, he will call me the next day. On the morning on 03/05/2016, I send a mail to [protected]@countryclubdubai.com, [protected]@countryclub.com and [protected]@countryclubdubai.com, but there were no reply from them. I called the telephone numbers which were provided to me and the response was that they need to get the approval from the management.

When I called Mr. Rakesh he told me he convinced his manager Mr. Majid Contact No: +971-[protected] and ask me to call him and when I called he also gives me the response that he will organize a meeting with their manager on 04/05/2016 and will confirm it by 04:30 p.m.
Now I completely understood that these guys have made me fool by offering those much benefits against their membership.
I started calling to customer care & putting mails to refund my payment due to their false commitment but they are not responding over mails or calls for refund. So far I have not received the gift voucher which has been offered and any membership card. In the copy of the contract which was given to me, it is clear that I have not signed on Terms and Conditions.
So I am requesting you to help me to get my membership cancellation and payment refund. My Membership number is.

Hi Guys,

Even i'm also one of the victim of this fraud company country holidays. I became member of this fraud company (ID : CVBG2CLUB241083) by their fake commitment on 20 Aug 2017. After coming to home i realized that promises those they have made is false, so immediately i took agreement copy to check if there are any ways to cancel this agreement or not. Fortunately I got one point in that agreement stating that withing 10 days of signing this agreement member can cancel this by sending E-mail to their E-mail address or send a hard copy of notice to their address. I sent mail on 23 Aug but till now no response from them !.
I tried calling customer care guys many times but every time they were giving different different excuses (colleague has gone to lunch or on leave or meeting with manager). Now I am planning to file complain against this fraud company on Consumer Affair website.

I have taken the membership on 26/07/2017. Membership No: ESCVSHJ82KL5L484. I am also happened to take a membership of AED 20000. I was told that it is an investment and can be cancelled at any time if the service is not required. Within in two days, I got a job offer from a different country and decided to move by clearing all my debts here. Since i made the payment through credit card, it is very difficult to pay the amount from my hand and moving to a different country. I decided to stop the membership since it it can be stopped at any time during the tenure and planned to stop this membership. I called (Akther Khan, Country club, Dar Gifts office, Near Ansar Mall, Sharjah )who explained all these features. He gave me Karama customer care office number( Mr Pradeep). When i walked in to karama office, I met pradeep. I explained him everything clearly. I was told that it cannot be reimbursed since the amount i paid is a non refundable amount. I was shocked. Its a huge amount and hard earned and cannot be made immediately. I lost all my interest on vacation. After discussion, Pradeep asked me to meet me next day with his manager. I am not sure what will happen.! I have kept a track of all the communication(Email, Call Logs, Whatsapp) with me. Let me know if anybody can help me with this issue.

Hi,

I am member since 2015 and for the last almost two years All the priveledges that the country club was selling was not happening at all. Our last two vacations got ruined because of country club. What they are selling is the membership to enjoy yearly vacation and none of these were happening. For the last two years we never used any of their vacation stay. What it had given our family is so much frustration. I have requested for cancellation and a refund for my 17, 000 that we have paid. If I will not hear from them this week I will file a complain to DED and we are even willing to file a case if needed just to get our refund money.

Hi All,

I also have been cheated by Country Club UAE. I took membership From Rakesh in Jan-2015, amount was 15000 AED. That I paid, After that I upgrade it to 30 Years plan for 20000 AED, but (John) they ask me to pay 21000 now and 1000 they will give back by next three months That also I paid And they give me Check of previous amt of 15000 with some deduction and said we will give you difference amt with 1000 which I paid extra.
With above both the membership there is Spa Voucher, Gold Voucher and Food Voucher and one more voucher (I don't remember exactly) will be given. Out of that I got only Spa Voucher for that they made entry in register and took my signature and 2 food vouchers of Qureshis Kabab. Still there 2 types of vouchers are pending and now they are refusing (Nazia from Qusais Office).

From last two years I was chasing for my reimbursement amount every time on phone they were saying Will come back to you but nobody contacted me ever for this matter either by phone or by mail. And now Nazia from Qusais Office simply refusing to give that amount 1667 AED.

She simply replied that (we can simply deny as it was committed by executive who is no more with the organisation .and more over it is written from your end not by the person who was responsible, we still can deny this as the mail has come from you stating this not by Mr john .
Maximum we can give you waiver for 800 AMC just to maintain a good relationship as a member.)

If country simply deny to pay me back as per commitment than why she is ready to give me waiver for 800 AED.

For above matter sevral times I called to John (already left country club), Mr. Unni (Every time making false promise that we will come back to you), Saifullah (already left country club), and 2 more persons.

Now for this matter I approached to Dubai Consumer Complain Department by email with all the proof I have. Currently I m out of UAE will be back and visit there to put a complain. Currently I can be reached on (+965-[protected]). My Membership mob no is 00971-[protected]

Hi All,

I got call and personal email from Mr. Gopal who was very courteous and helpful. He offered full refund considering my personal constraints/financial obligations due to which I could not continue with their membership schemes.

I am waiting for refund and hopefully I would get resolution soon.

Dear All,

I am their latest victim, I lost 9000 dirhams by swiping my card under their 2 hours long session on 24th Dec 2017.

Very next day i asked them to refund my money which they denied.

I m helpless and going to loose my hard earned 9000 AED.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Kool life membership

Hello,

Recently I took membership of country Vacation (Country Club) membership on 10th February 2016. There Sales representative Given lot of offer verbally which ask him to put in contract but he says it will be done after taking membership and payment. I paid 1700BD for the same and ask him for the contract but they refuse to put all the points which he offer verbally and giving lot of excuses.

As I not avail any of their services so I want to cancel this membership and want my money back.
I already mail to them but did, t got any reply.

Hello,

Recently I took membership of country Vacation (Country Club) membership on 5th August 2022.There Sales representative Given lot of offer verbally which ask him to put in contract but he says it will be done after taking membership and payment. I paid INR 99,000 for the same and ask him for the contract but they refuse to put all the points which he offer verbally and giving lot of excuses.

As I not avail any of their services so I want to cancel this membership and want my money back.

I already mail to them with in cool off period ie on 08th August 2022. Also I sent written letter with cancelled cheque leaf of providing my bank account number.

But they replied me, they can't refund and I have to transfer my membership to my family members or friends.

Like this way, this company is a fraud and cheating the cusomers collecting their hard earned money.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays False hoa

I live in a non gated community, in Palm Desert, CA. Several Homeowners have gotten together and decided to assign somebody to be in charge of the pool area, since the development co. never created an HOA and they left it up to the homeowners to decide on how to maintain the common area, by acting as if they were an HOA without legally creating said HOA. The lady in charge now, Amanda Meeks, has been recording illegal liens on properties under the title of, "Country Club Village Estate, Area A< HOA Secretary.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Membership cancellation

I am Indian citizen working in Saudi Arabia. I solicit your support to resolve following matter. When I was in Bahrain on 25th Dec, 2015, I purchased 30 years Country Club Membership by paying 1530 BD by credit card. This membership also has 80 BD annual charges to be paid every year for 30 tears. Membership number is CVBH79KL30L1991. County club office is located in Dana Mall, shop no. 193 Manama, Bahrain. On realizing that because of my financial limitations I cannot sustain this financial burden I requested Country Club on 28th Dec. 2015 to cancel my membership and return my money. They refused to cancel the membership. I appreciate your support and guidance to resolve this matter to cancel the membership and get money back.

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Need refund cancellation / useless country club / false promises

Hello Country Vacations team, It's been more than 2.5 years that I have invested on this Country Vacations package and not utilized my vacations till date. Its already expired and got n number of calls from your representatives / customer care department to pay Annual Maintenance Charges AMC. Your team is very prompt in collecting and sending reminder AMC charges, but not worth to fulfill the promises made to customer. 1.5 years back a rep from Hyderabad called me and informed that If I Pay AMC immediately I would get 1000 INR value food coupons, 7 days nights free stay holiday coupon, etc..After paying he has not responded back and I have forwarded all chain of emails to more than 15 to 20 reps / Customer service team so far. There is no response and no one is owning to resolve my concerns. I really feel that I have wasted my investment by choosing Country club and not used a single day of my stay so far. Without knowing I booked Attibele as my 1st stay for vacation with family, later I withdrawn my booking post visiting that site. Please remove this place from your vacation list as its one of the third class low graded hotel stay I have ever had and faced. Not worth it. As my first impression was horrible I didn't book my other vacations. There was lot of false promises during Pre Booking and your guys forced me to land in this current situation. Hi Team, I got a membership in Country club/Country Vacations on 21-Mar-2015. Prabha from Country Vacations promised for the below facilites as part of Ugadi offer and I have paid one lakh twenty five thousand rupees on the same day. 1) Country club life time membership.(Member Ship Number: CVHYD6CLUB10LB196906) 2) 10 years of Country Vacations of 6 nights and 7 days which includes free Cab pickup and drop from airport/railway station/bus stop. The stay also includes a free breakfast and Kitchen access along with cook facility at the location. 3) As part of Ugadi Offer I was also offered a free international trip along with my family including stay, food and round trip flight tickets. 4) Prabha also mentioned that Country club has tie ups/properties at more than 150 pilgrimage locations as we were more intrested in Visiting temples in India. 5)Monthly gifts for one year delivered to home as part of Ugadi offer. 6) Wavier of yearly Maintenance for the first two years as part of House wife Scheme. (Now I am getting calls from country club to pay maintenance charges of 9500 every year) Below are the transactions made towards the payment of 1, 25, 000 rupees on ICICI debit and credit cards Debit card: Summing up to 35, 000 rupees. 1) Date : 21/03/2015 Transaction : VPS/COUNTRY CLU/[protected]/0 Amount :10, 000.00 2) Date : 21/03/2015 Transaction : VPS/COUNTRY CLU/[protected]/0 Amount : 25, 000.00 Credit card : summing up to 90, 000 rupees. 1) Date: 21/03/2015 Transaction ID74332745081508056743329 Merchant :COUNTRY CLUB INDIA LIM HYDERABAD IN Amount 40, 000.00 2) Date: 21/03/2015 Transaction: 74332745081508058075860 Merchant COUNTRY CLUB INDIA LIM HYDERABAD IN Amount: 50, 000.00 On 19-Aug-2015I approached Prabha for international trip and submitted a letter for international trip and Monthly gifts. Rajashekhar marketing executive who works under Prabha has taken the letter and said that they would come back in a week with the trip reservation details. I have been following up with Rajashekar and Prabha since then and could not contact them in person and they never picked up my phone. Whenever I visted Amruta Castle people said that Prabha is on leave and Rajashekar is out for collections. I have also raised a complaint with Customer care executive Gopal in Hyderabad office and he mentioned that air tickets and temple reservations are not possible as country club does not have any such tie ups. I have also submitted a cancellation request and following up with Gopal has also been a pain as he is not available most of the times when I try to reach him on phone. Over all I am cheated by Country club/Vacations with false promises in place and request your suport and assitance in cancellation of the membership. Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Cheating people with "membership with land plots"

I am the latest victim of Country Club Dubai. If you are planning to take up the membership think again. There are hundreds of people who have voiced complaints against Country Club in Dubai and in India. The Country Club - Dubai sold us their membership plan without fully explaining all the terms and conditions AND mis-representing services that are not included in the membership. This was on 8-Oct-2015. This membership was sold to us at AED 54, 000 which included two plots of 900 sq feet in India, to be developed into condos as a part of Country Club resort. This was offered to us with a condition that that the offer was valid only for that moment during our meeting and nothing was given in writing in terms of the offer that was explained verbally. We trusted the Country Club sales team and signed the application form and made payment. We were told that the copy of the application form and the other document will be sent to us immediately by email. But we did not get any, and we had to go to their Karama office after couple of days and spend four hours to get the copies of the document. On examining the terms and conditions in application form(which was not discussed by the sales team), we realised that there were a lot of terms which were not told to us, which are not acceptable to us. We discussed this matter with a few existing members and they were unhappy about the club too and gave us a feedback that that the holidays offered were sub-standard. Due to discrepancies in terms and conditions v/s what was explained to us, lack of trust demonstrated by the staff and various bad feed back from existing members and in online forums, we had decided to withdraw from the membership within 10 working days. We have been trying to escalate this matter with Country Club but they have been delaying the process. In the last discussion we had with the Senior Customer Relationship Manager - Mr. Satish Unni, he was surprised to hear the commitments given by the sales team in terms of land plots. He later offered to refund approx 50% of the money. He also mentioned that they do not have any membership withdrawal policy and that our claims are not substantial. We have registered a complaint at Consumer Protection department of Department of Economic Development and we have been assured that we will get our refund. Awaiting the result now. If you are in Dubai and wish to register your complaint against The Country Club - call [protected] and give your details. Once, you get your case number, you can send an email to [protected]@dubaided.gov.ae, with supporting documents. You can also visit their office after registering your complaint - it is near DNATA or 5 mins walk from Deira Citi Centre metro station. Their website is www.consumerrights.ae If anyone else has any more info about this club, please do not shy away from posting. Because unless we take action against such fraudulent practices they will continue to thrive and fool gullible innocent people and take their hard earned money. I was duped 2days ago n made to pay 17000aed via my card they said interest free never mentioned 5percent extra processing charges.i tried to cancel the transaction with the bank they disapproved please somebody guide me to help get my money back from country club abudhabi as I am upset after reading all bad reviews n experiences of so many people.u can mail me ur number or call me at [protected]

Country Club Hospitality & Holidays Country club india ltd (country vacations) subscription

Dear New Subscribers, If you are planning to buy country club India membership, then HOLD ON, keep your head cool and give a second thought . Check with your friends, who is a member for at least 5 to 6 years, their experiences.. After becoming a member you may get the hotel bookings easily for initial 2-3 years. After that they will start showing you a real face. During holidays (eg Dec 24 to Jan 8 ), you will never get a hotel booking, no matter how many days in advance you try for it. They have very limited hotels/resorts and that too at vary few holiday destinations. Their website is misleading, Link like "Our Clubs & Resorts" will actually show more fitness clubs and less resorts. Popular cities like Mumbai, Delhi do not have hotel stay. They have resorts at places like Hyderabad, Mysore etc . But then who is going to spend 6N/7D at these locations? Remember, once you are trapped, you can crib only. So take, well informed decision.
