Couponcabin flagged my account, then told me to send my driver's license to verify my address and made it sound like that would resolve the issue. Odd, but I did as instructed. Immediately after that, they proceeded to say someone at my ip network (and think if you work in an office building?) broke their terms. They deleted my account and stole my members only cash back I had earned several weeks prior. No warning or anything... Treated like a criminal, not a loyal customer. Then threatened more action should I ever create an account with them again (as if I would ever deal with them again after that instead of moving on to a competitor). I was a loyal customer of couponcabin for five years and had earned close to $1,000 with/for them.
And they keep just replying the same robotic and inaccurate excuse, "when accounts are identified as trying to circumvent these rules, we have no choice but to close those accounts." my own account did absolutely nothing to circumvent any rule. It was obviously someone else's account on a shared network. So that's a lie, and I don't appreciate liars.
Desired outcome: None at this point, I've moved on to a competitor. I just want to warn others. I've also returned my most recent members only related purchase to the merchant and let them know why.
