Can I sue credit karma for closing my spending account without warning and holding my money for a long period of time that caused a huge inconvenience and penalties to my personal life? They did not send an explanation email until a week later after I’ve been going back and fourth with how/ when I would get my remaining balance from my closed account sent to me. The emsil stated my account was closed due to not verifying my account within 60 days after given several warning which is false because I’ve have my spending account open and verified for 3 years and I have not received any alerts through my account via email or the app that pertains the the closure reason being given. I believe this is way to steal peoples money. I was late on payments, and could not afford groceries for my family because they closed my account with no immediate outlet to return my money even though their help chat stated the money would be transferred to my connecting external account. I had to take out a payday loan and incurred debt from the high interest as well as late fees and account closure warning for my other bills. Now they are saying they cannot return a refund that was issued back to my original account by Amazon.com because they already closed my account. I asked if they had any protocol set for this type of situation and told no. Instead I was told I need to call Amazon and have them figure it out since it’s not credit karmas problem due to them closing my account in the first place.
Desired outcome: Return my money that was refunded to my account totaling $646.92.Sue credit karma for fraudulent activity
