pharmacy department
I placed a follow up phone call to CVS Pharmacy in Lanett, Alabama on July 15, 2017 in reference to a prescription that was dropped off on Wednesday, July 12. The call was regarding an order for Glucose Monitoring Strips for a family member that is on Medicaid/Medicare. The family member was in the hospital from 07/09 until 07/12. She was prescribed several medications, including the use of a Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Since my cousin is elderly and do not drive, my mother took the initiative to drop off the prescription. Upon dropping off prescription and getting glucose strips, a form needed to be signed. The pharmacy tech had my mother to complete paperwork for my family member, in which my mother was informed to sign her name instead of my elderly cousin's name. My mother was informed that signed paperwork had to be submitted to insurance agency for coverage. Process could take up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, my mother called pharmacy for update. My mother was informed that request had to be resubmitted because the insurance system was temporarily down. My mother was informed that once system was operating again, request would be resubmitted and that she would receive a courtesy call. No call was received. On July 15 another call was placed in reference to the status of the strips. By speaking with several pharmacy reps, no one appeared to know the status and per the pharmacy tech there wasn't a signed form on file. The reason for this complaint is that my family has been a loyal customer of your pharmacy for years and this is not the first time that we have had this problem. On numerous times, we have placed orders for prescriptions but they were not ready in a timely manner. Prescriptions were also dropped off and for some unexplained reason were not filled by the date of pick up. I have experienced these issues myself but continued to stay with this pharmacy, however when these issues occurred with my elderly grandmother (who is now deceased), we had to move her account to another pharmacy. She had a stroke and therefore needed her medication in a timely manner. Prescriptions were presented to your pharmacy for refill but there were delays due to incomplete paperwork (signature, insurance follow up, etc). Because of the delays, we had no choice but to transfer all of her medications to another pharmacy. It just amazed me that when my grandmother's account was transferred to another pharmacy that I can honestly say above a shadow of the doubt that these issues were never encountered. Although, my existing family members continued to render services from CVS we believed that things would change. However, they have not. Just recently I encountered an issue with my prescription in which my eye doctor sent in the prescription while I was sitting in the office with her but for some reason, my prescription was not received and I had to contact my doctor at least twice to have my prescription resent. My elderly family member cannot at this time afford to have issues with the delay of the prescription services. We only wanted our prescriptions to be handled thoroughly and in a timely manner. I feel as though there is a lack of communication within the pharmacy and the reps are not notating the system properly. We should not have to constantly repeat the previous information if the system was notated properly. In closing, just to inform you how frustrating this service has been to me and my family, this same elderly family member was given the wrong medication by your pharmacy in which she noticed in time before taking. What does it take to receive professional and caring customer care from a business that the individuals working there would like to receive for themselves or their family members? Taking care of a sick, elderly family member is stressful enough. Customers do not need the added stress on top of the situation.
pharmacy in roswell ga store # 895 the worst!
Yes, yes... The worst of the worst. Unfortunately, july 1, 2017, this was the cvs close to my location at roswell apartments in georgia. I am an out of towner from alabama and had to wait to get my meds in ga. I was driven to this cvs (Would rate -10) if could. Well to say the least, I stood at the counter for too long, at least 6 minutes, with not one person, in line, but me! There were at least four (4) cvs employees behind at (In), the pharmacy. Mind you, not one time was I acknowleged until I raised my hand and said, customer is here. Then, the pharmacist, (With all 4 of them looking), he simply said that he had said something to me, but that his voice is very soft and I probably did not here him. Well, I heard him say that and there I still stood. Least to say, I did need my prescription of plaquenil. I had, to leave without my medication. I could not afford to get sick there... I would not be making this post/text, because, I would be dead, still waiting on service, which does not exist at 895 holcomb bridge road ga 30076. Yes, I did go straight to the store manager, who was sweeping up front, informed him of the unprofessional and deleted form of any at his pharmacy.
liquor department
I was shopping last week at cvs on western and Venice when I arrive I made line to request a bottle it was 15 minutes before closing when I ask for assistance they send me a manager since the wait in line was taking forever, once the manager by the name of john showed up he refuse to get me a bottle from the liquor cabinet since he had a long line and it was 5 minutes before closing he refuse to walk to the cabinet since he was doing the register he advised me to go to food 4 less when I don't even like shopping there so when I ask for the district manager he advised me that his name is posted outside the wall if I have any complaint to make the long story short I would not come back to this Cvs until they change the employee or manager running the shift specially john he was very rude and disrespectful maybe cause of my skin color I'm not sure but definitely not coming back to that store

cvs pharmacy 1145 washington ave, evansville, in 47714
My son & I both fill all our medicines at this pharmacy and a month doesn't go by that they don't screw up something causing us unneeded hassle when getting our medications. I do not know who is in charge of this pharmacy, but they really need to get it together training their staff. We use this pharmacy as it is closest to our home, but the problems are so frequent I am considering switching to another pharmacy for me and my son. I also know other neighbors who are having the same problems with this particular pharmacy.
I think you need to do some quality control monitoring and staff retraining. A person should be able to rely on their pharmacy,
customer service by manager not good at all
Tonight at 3am i went to your cvs store in greenwich ct. Store number 6702 . when i went to pay your system was not reading phone numbers. Or email. I had a 20% off on the card and items on sale would not give sale price because system was not taking any numbers. So i asked the young lady to call manager to resolve this. She said coupon expirex at midnight. I toldher that was a couple of hours ago and cvs still honers it a xouple of days.
She tried to say no and the casheir was very helpful and explained to her that yes it would still be honored for 2 days. And that it would not even ring sale price on other items with out card. So i asked so im goi g to loose out on sale price and 20% on non sale items. I will have to call company tomorrow.
She was not happy at all nor pleasent.
The young lady Anita was wonderful and very helpfull. When manager saw what i was. Talking about because i told her i use to work for cvs so i new she felt forced to do it.
Another customer was there having same problem she did not want to honor the 20% on his either.
Its a real shame that customer service by a manager would be so poor. Besides having worked for cvs i have been a customer for over 20 years and im sorry but alot of your managersl could benifit from going back and reviewing the customer service protocols.
Thank you
Sincerly Luisa Ramalho
the service that I received at your store on sienna parkway & highway 6.
I was released from West Houston Hospital yesterday on Sunday, 7/9/2017. I had just receive the second of two knee replacements; my wife and I live at 9218 Cold Hollow Lane, Missouri City, Texas 77459. We went to your location at Sienna Parkway and Highway 6, we drove through the drive thru and submit two prescriptions to have filled. When the tech looked at the scripts he immediately responded that CVS didn't have the medicine and that we should take the prescription somewhere else to get filled. Why should I have to take my script to another location when I live near here. Then the pharmacist came to the window and said that it would take until Friday to get the medication. Huh? Why, because I'm black and I have I prescription of a controlled drug? Anyways, my wife took me home, she went back to your store number 8445; to pick up my script for the injections of my blood thinners. I need my pain medication sooner than Friday; I thinks it's rude and descrimnatory to the that a person of color is trying to render a bogus script. I expect a call from a district manager to explain to me why does it take 7 days to render a prescription. In the meantime, I'm in pain.
pharmacy
On July 4th I called the automated system to refill my fathers prescription. (We are currently overseas until September)
The automated system there were no redilla left and that someone was going to call the Dr.
I called again that Friday (the day it told me to call).. The rep put me on hold for over 5 minutes, when I explained to her that I was calling overseas. I had to hang up and call back. Another rep explained to me that the refill was not available until end of July and I had to call insurance. I told her that I'm sure his insurance would approve because we are overseas until September and that my husband was leaving Tuesday. She said its wasn't their responsibility to call... CORRECTION! I went they the SAME EXACT thing with my prescription and had to jump thru hoops to be told by my insurance company that IT IS NOT the patients responsibility to call for approval. That the pharmacy MUST call for approval code. I'm not sure why I hit a wall each and every time I'm use this pharmacy.
pharmacy manager
On Wednesday 7/5/2017 at approximately 4pm, I had a very bad experience with the pharmacy manager by the name of Donna Gilmer who works at the LR AR location on Geyer Springs Rd. I called to get a doctor's name changed on some medication. Things went wrong when I told her that it was the fault of CVS because the incorrect doctor's name is on some of my medication. This means that you are sending refill requests to the wrong doctor. This has been occurring for months even after I have asked you several times to change it. Instead of trying to explain how CVS was not at fault, she became argumentative. I told her it was not that serious but I just need the problem fixed but she proceeded to tell me that it was serious to her because she would have to do an incident report. As a customer I don't care what report has to be filled out, I want the problem resolved. She was very rude and unprofessional. When I told her that she was being loud and unprofessional the conversation came to an abrupt end because she hung up on me. Wow, amazing customer service you have provided!
She did not handle the situation with the respect that I deserve as a customer and as far as I know my problem still exists. As an Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield member, I will also make a complaint with my insurance company against CVS as a pharmaceutical provider if nothing is done about this incident.
hcg (drug costs)
I've done everything to keep cvs as my pharmacy. I've been using cvs pharmacy for years with no issues. Until last year, when I had to use their cvs specialty pharmacy group to order a drug (Hcg - chorionic gonad). I've spent over 10k in the last year (Out of pocket)... With insurance paying very little. Every time I call, they tell me the cost will be different. Last week I transfer my prescription to walgreens. The same drug cost $295 w/ walgreens. Cvs charges $1, 088! Over 3.5 times higher! I'm so mad at myself for not consider walgreens last year when I first learned of the cost. After I file a complaint, they send me another invoice for $1, 500! And I still haven't received a call back. They've hung up on me, transferred me to different groups, mailed the wrong items, and have told me different cost every time i've called. I will continue to post my complaint until I get some kind of explanation. Very disappointed. How many other individuals are they overcharging? If you considering using cvs, please check other pharmacies. You owe it yourself!
telephone prescription calls
To begin with, I put in, early on to receive TEXTS, not phone calls which are stealing my minutes from my pay as u go phone.
I did talk about this in person at the store and was told technology rules. Someone puts info into the computer (a human, I guess).
I received NOT ONE TEXT. I have received calls and emails on 6/21, 6/24 - That
time I answered the phone and told worker I picked up prescription in May and it's for 3 months . JUNE is NOT 3 months. Also received calls and voicemails. 7/3, 7/2 and
7/1. JULY is NOT three months.
This is not the first time that this has gone on!
Like I said at the start, I ONLY want to receive TEXTS, NO calls or voicemails.
pharmacist
My husband went to a CVS yesterday to fill a prescription. He has cancer and is a patient at the pain clinic at VCU. The initial CVS location he tried to fill the prescription told him that they didn't have the medication he was trying to fill. They printed him out a list of locations that did. They instructed him to go to 591 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 first. When he arrived at that location, the pharmacist initially said that she didn't have the medication. My husband showed her list he was provided by the previous store. She became upset and told him that he shouldn't have that information and questioned where he got it. He explained that the pharmacist provided it to him. Then she told him that she did have the medication but she didn't want to give it to him because she would have to give him her entire stock. He insisted that he needed to fill the prescription. So, she told him that he "wasn't going to like it", but it was going to take her a few hours to fill the prescription. He told her he would return.
I am a physician. The prescription is for a controlled substance. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. He goes through this every time he has to fill the medication. Is there nothing he can do? How can a pharmacist lie and refuse to fill a medication if the prescription is legitimate and it's for a known customer of the pharmacy? When I went with him to pick up the medication and asked to speak to the pharmacist I was told she was gone for the day and no one knew her name. The name on the bottle is Laura Perkins. This occurred aroung 2:30 Pm on 7/30/17.
service
Today I was in the cvs on hwy 69 south in Tuscaloosa, AL and for 45 minutes I watched the cashier run back and forth trying to help customers in photo and customers up front. I heard this cashier apologize multiple times because she was the only one here. Is this ok for a store manager to leave only 1 person in the store to run it. Her customer service skills were amazing. I shop cvs at least three times a week and it makes me sick to see a cashier running ad hard as this one was. If something is not done about this I WILL NOT be back to a CVS ever. I don't think it is ok for a business to be ran like this and if this isn't against company policy I will make sure all my friends know about this experience! I unsderstand things come up and people have to leave work, but as a customer service veteran myself I know that every place I've worked it is the managers responsibility to make sure there is nobody left alone in the store! I sure hope this siutation is handled in a timely manner especially since this isn't my first complaint about this particular store manager. The District Manager should do a better job checking up on this lady.
management/tracy
I have been shopping with CVS for a short time. When Tracy is there she is always rude and short with me, I can not understand this type of behavior. Last time I wanted to use to bathroom and pick up a few things, this was in Tupelo, MS . Tracy informed me the bathrooms were closed the time was 7:45 pm. I just walked out and went across the street to Walgreens . I will not be back to shop at CVS. Walgreens will be my stop from now on. Thank You
supervisor
Hello, my name is Manuel Aguirre, and I have been going to the CVS on Sepulveda and Lassen in North Hills / Mission Hills for about two years on a weekly basis. I usually spend about $30-$50 every two weeks on Malatonin, Zquil, Advil, Earplugs, Water, Monsters, Razors, etc. Tonight, supervisor Luigi came up behind my back as I was looking for something and aggressively asked me in a high tone of voice, "do you need something?" He made me jump from being startled. I turned around surprised at his rude behavior and told him I was surprised because in two years no one had asked me that in this stor and especially so rudely. He began to make smart comments stating, "are you insinuating that I am an undercover cop?" I asked him why he would say thst, and why he was being so rude to me, and he said that I should get what I need and get out. I told him I would complain. As I was paying for my item, I asked him if he was the manager. He said, " why does it matter?" I said because I was going to complain. He then pulled away the $12 Melatonin pills I was going to buy and said, " get out or I'm going to call the police." Last night I spent $30 on pictures, Zquil and advil. This is the last time I go there. And, I live two blocks away. I don't deserve to be treated like this. I am going to tell all my neighbors how they are acting in this store towards Latinos. I am a 40 year Latino male with a Masters degree, and I am not going in there to steal. I make $75, 000 a year and my wife and I spend a lot of money there. I believe this behavior towards me was due to discrimination from Luigi even though he himself looks Latino. I believe my Civil Rights are being violated by this ruse harrassing behavior. The phone number I use to shop there is [protected] if you would like to verify. Please teach Mr. Luigi how to respect customers who spend a lot of money in CVS. Otherwise, I am sure you will lose more customers.

Went to my local CVS to ask Pharmacist a question about an OTC product for a
UTI, and I had to explain all about the problem with a man breathing down my neck and another man to the left of me. This is uncalled for! They need to keep people back away from the counter when someone is talking to the Pharmacist! Also, the Pharmacist, turned out to be very rude on top of it! CVS
you need an overhaul!
passport picture service
I spent over 1h driving around visit a total 4 stores and every store in the end couldn't delivery the passport picture.

Finally went to a first ealgreens store snd got it
service
On 06/23/2017 I went into store #5134 CVS on Cropsy, not only the employee but the management in this store are rude and this isn't the first time the people you have working for your company has been disrespectful. Simple things like turning in bottles threes always a attitude and by the way what is the policy for the bottle and cans is it our job as customers to count, organize, rinse out, and separate them while we are there just to get our $2.00. Then on top of that god for bid if the bottles are from rite aid or another store then your employees have a heart attack stating that next time they will not take them so we will have to walk all the way back home with 40 bottles. This store is ridicules.
pharmacist
Pharmacist Nancy Bixler in Lapel, IN is very rude and does not let people get their prescriptions, even elderly people who actually need it. She always gives my wife the run around or some stupid excuse for everything. She needs reported. And said it's illegal to pay for medications with cash which I've never heard of. It's very ridiculous. She has a very bad attitude towards customers who are trying to get there medications
