Dan Murphy's review: Rude customer service!

I visited Dan Murphy’s Upper Coomera store in QLD today around midday.

My daughter was first to come in to buy some beers for her dad; but she forgot to bring her card driving licence; she only had her online (digital) licence with her and the boy on the register rejected her!

So fine; then I had to come in store to buy the beers. Come to my surprise, the boy also rejected me, saying I helped my daughter to lie to buy alcohol illegally!

My daughter is really 23 yo; as per the licence shows. She did NOT lie and I don’t lie!

Even if I bought it and give the beer to her at home; I still do it legally as she really is 23 yo.

What is wrong with the customer service in this store? That they have rights to call people LIAR when I actually told them the truth?

So I was punished because I actually told them the truth!

I can come in and buy another pack of beer without telling them I’m the mother. They won’t even know! My only mistake was by being honest and told them I am the mother of the girl who forgot to bring the actual licence!

This Dan Murphy business actually supports people who LIE, as long as they keep the lie with them! Never ever be honest like me, because they will abuse you and call you as criminal and liar!
