hotel rooms filthy
I booked two non-smoking rooms on Saturday November 4th 2017 at the Days Inn & Suites in Vicksburg, MS. Upon arrival, one of the rooms smelled horribly of marijuana. When I informed the front desk to see if there was something that could be done, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done until housekeeping arrived the next morning. The rooms were not properly cleaned the bed linens were thread bare and not clean. The comforter was covered in cigarette burns. The electrical fixtures were a joke only about half working properly. I was charged $153.00 for both rooms and I expected so much more from a Wyndham property. This hotel needs to removed from your brand, and I believe that I am entitled to a full refund. Dirty dirty dirty had to bleach and Lysol everything down tub so bad had but a mat and had to purchase wash cloths because the white ones were gray then the next day I saw two old people as maids cleaning the rooms they were relatives I guess of owner address 3654 wheeler rd Augusta gaIve never seen a room so old and dirty thank God no bugs you all need to do inspections without the owners knowing. It puts a bad taste in my mouth for Days Inn
double charging
Stayed at Days Inn on 11/3/17 & 11/4/17 was double charged both days...on the 3rd I was charged $80.00. for a rate that was locked in at $68.32. plus another $78.00. Then I decided I would stay another day(11/5/17) had lock-in rate of $68.32. charged me 78.32 and that was doubled also...I was left with no money at check out for gas or food and no one offered to accommodate my situation. Now I'm left with no money and no way of gas and eating. Will be filing a grievance.
You should contact Days Inn directly for reimbursement of the double charge. If they won't assist you, you could try filing a dispute with your bank.
being triple charged
We were suppose to check into the Lancaster Days inn on lititz pike on October 30th due to working I wasn't able to make that day. So we cancelled on the 29th. Got a room on oct 31st there and was charged 209.43 for the cancelled reservation and 164.28 each for 2 days on a standard 2 queen bed room. And now they don't wanna give me my money back...
You would be responsible for any cancellation fees that were incurred by canceling so late. However if the fees you were charged are greater than what should have been charged for cancellation and they won't refund you, you could attempt to file a dispute with your bank.
terrible filthy room
First of all it was the nastiest room, I have pictures to prove it. It was a suite room for 6 ppl. I paid and the next day was checking out and showed them the picture and told them I was extremely upset with the condition I had to stay in. Was told management was not there and I would need to email the manager which I did, they gave me a partial refund but never received an email back, or any type of apology. I will never use this hotel again.
The lack of communication on this makes me very angry. Especially when your paying $180 a night! Exact address is days inn Cocoa Florida cruise port west...

Rooms were disgusting, dirty, smelly, and both doors were warped and due to a storm the doors rattled in the wind all night so did not sleep we had 2 rooms and both were the same. the curtains were all stained with god knows what and both rooms we "tried" to sleep on top of the sheets with our heaters over us as we did not trust the beds had been cleaned. We did see a roach in our room and god only knows what we did not see.
In the parking lot there were shaddy individuals hanging in the parking lot in their cars parked beside each other every once and a while someone would go out to them but they never left their cars.
TV well we had none it was in and out and wifi was iffy as well and with a rain storm its not like we could hang out anywhere but our rooms.
The next day breakfast was terrible juice coffee and toast and cereal thats it! We had a late flight out at 10pm so we changed hotels for the day, somewhere that was accommodating and full restaurant.
We also had a shuttle driver from the airport that was rude, not to us but another guest who was handicapped. My husband actually help the man out of the van and into the hotel the driver was put out and ignored him.
Our desirable resolution is a refund on both our rooms as we had to pay for another hotel and taxi to get there.

Did you try contacting the front desk during your stay? Unfortunately they will most likely not refund you if you did indeed stay at the hotel.

- They never cleaned the room during the 2 days! We went out and came back very late and it was when we realized that I did not clean the room all day! dirty towels, full garbage cans, sheets and unmade beds. Horrible!
- The bathroom was very urine stinky and there was a plague of black ants!
- The front desk lady was very unfriendly. When we went to have some breakfast at 9:05 am there was no bread and I asked if I she could bring more and he answered me: NO because breakfast it will closed at 9:30 I can not believe it! There were 25 minutes to finish the breakfast time! and she turned off the lights. She was Very Unfriendly.
It was a Terrible experience that we had! I need my money back!

My room was missing electrical outlet covers, no electricity in the walls period so the lamps and clock wouldn't work, there was zero internet ( he said to hook up to whoever?), blood and thick dust on walls, NO baseboards just open HOLES... actual FOOD lying on floors, red Mildew in tolit and shower head. Black mold on ceiling tile. I paid 90. Desk man Afghan and next Afghanistan customers paid 48. I asked about it and he ignored me. They advertise area for dogs and he said small patch of grass. When I went; huge pile busted TVs covered area... I am retired usaf Girl. Took shower and slept sitting up. Left and went to sleep at a gas station. Scary and dangerous.

Hi, we arrived to the days inn Roanoke VA and it was filthy. There was a long line at the desk of people processing refunds. We were told that although we ordered a nonsmoking room there was only smoking rooms available. The man at the front desk said there were maintenance issues, the keys didn't work, the rooms hadn't been cleaned, and there was a man on the third floor walking around with a gun shouting at bystanders. Basically, the man at the front desk should have called the police but he was a very shady fellow named same I believe and didn't warn us about the safety issues even though we were traveling with 2 young toddlers. We asked for a refund and instead of processing our refund he gave us an address for another dirty hotel called the Knights inn Roanoke and said we could stay there instead. However we didn't want to stay there so basically we still need a refund. We booked through Priceline who called them to try to process a refund but the person they talked to said a refund was unwarranted.

My name is Marquis Johnson. And another customer trying to get in a room reserved is Princess Collins. We've both been sitting in the lobby for almost two hours if not more. There has been no desk person at the desk since we've been here. I'm extremely disappointed in service and the experience. I'm still here waiting. I've did a review on Google. I've attempted to call the customer service line but it's not reachable due to business hours. I've complained through email on the wydham website. And I've taken pictures and attempted a video showing that there has not been anyone here to assist us and keys are left on desk which probably opens a drawer compartment beside the desk.

i stayed with this hotel on friday october 27th. at 11pm i was awakened by grandson screaming that something was crawling on the table i turned the light on and roaches where every where. i stayed awake with my grandson all night killing roaches. i made my complaint the still was charged 41.00 for staying . i was never offered to change rooms. i demand a full refund or a free night somewhere else . this was totally unexceptable

On Dec 2016 Crystalline Fame Callangan was introduced to me as a resident manager at Days Inn, Redwood City, California. She claimed she had accumulated and received so much hotel benefits/rewards that she is unable to use. Therefore, for $600.00 I am entitled to 5 nights a month of complimentary stay for a 1 year. She has sold the same benefits to my friends and friends of friends. We are asking for her to return our money and up to this date all we got was promised date after promised date. This woman sold and collected over $6000.00 from us. She obviously committed fraud.

My friends and I got scammed as well by Fame! She sold us this $500 package where we get X amount of nights to use per year for any Wyndham and sister hotels. It never worked! She gave some excuse on why she couldnt book our rooms last minute and then she asked us to front the booking and she would "pay" us back later, its been months and we haven't got a single dime back! She keeps giving us excuses about her son being sick, and that she is waiting for a check for a property she sold in the Philippines.

You may need to pursue this legally instead in small claims court. I'm not sure Days Inn can assist you as this sounds like something she was doing of her own accord. I hope you have something in writing to support your case.
poor quality of the room
I stayed in days inn of Bristol Va on 10 21 2017 and it was the worst hotel stay in my life. The room smelled like pure smoke and it was not clean. The carpets were burned. Stains were on the sheets bathroom tub had a ring around it and some kid colored on the hvac unit. I will never stay here ever again. Please give me my money back. Also the curtains were nasty and bugs were in the room from the door being open. The bed behind was also fifthy
dirty fire hazard hotel in overland park kansas
There is a lady staying in room 128 who is a hoarder. Her room is stuffed with boxes, clothes, and even her cat complete with a litter box.
When I saw her room because her door was open to allow her cat to roam in the parking lot, I was concerned. I am a firefighter and that room is a fire hazard. To top it off, I am certain that the hotel staff cannot go in there and clean her room. As a result, there were cockroaches in our room - we were unfortunate to be directly above her. We tried to change rooms but we were told that the hotel was sold out for the next 2 nights.
At checkout, I asked to speak to a manager and the man at the front desk said that the manager wasn't there. I explained the problem to him and EVEN gave him a huge dead cockroach in a cup so he could see for himself. He seemed totally disinterested and then even pretended that he couldn't understand me. I asked him if he could get the manager and he again pretended he couldn't understand me. I plan to report this hotel to the Kansas City Fire Department and Health Department and I am demanding a refund.
double charging!!
Reserved a room on 10/23/2017 for one night at a rate with tax of $72.40. When the charge came through on my bank alerts, there were 2 charges of $72.40 made on my debit card. I spoke to the desk clerk from my room and was told I would have to speak to the manager after 8:00am on the following morning. I must be on the road at 6:00am in the morning so this is an impossibility. Also the bathroom in my room was absolutely filthy. This is a disgrace to your business and I will not use your hotel again. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My $72.40 overcharge had best be returned immediately. We booked 3rooms together at ground level 3 months ago and paid for them in advance! When we got here yesterday my two sister in laws got rooms on the third floor apart from each other" one sister in law has very bad knees. Myself I got a room on ground level but the ice, Coke, ice cream machine are at my door. Someone was getting ice at 5AM this morning. I complained to the manager and he informed that a tour bus came in and they have priority!

I spent one night at Days Inn
Portland East on September 24 2017. I checked out September 25 11am. Received a phone call about 1120am same day telling me Ihad left my Ipad folder at the hotel. I told them that there
was an Ipad in the folder and that I would be back later to pick it up.I came back about 3 hours later. The Ipad folder was produced but no Ipad. I was told that a couple of maids had turned in my folder. I wasn't able to speak to the maids or look at the cameras in the hall.
That was an 800 dollar Ipad that was stolen. The manager Jay was polite but I am very upset at this loss.
I'm sorry you lost your iPad. You are ultimately responsible for any items you bring with you to the hotel, and they are not legally obligated to assist you in getting it returned. You could contact the police if you wish to really pursue this, but just be aware that the hotel will not be liable.

I called into Days Inn Madison Heights on 10/16/17 and spoke to a front desk employee named “kayp” supposedly. He was very rude when I asked about a promotion that was supposed to be going on! He told me I had the wrong number & have a nice day. No further info on where to call. He even hung up on me & when I called back twice he picked up the phone & hung it up. Then once I finally got answer, he proceeded to pretend he didn’t just hang up on me. He also lied & told me the manager wasn’t there & then said he was the manager. This all transpired between 6:40 PM-7 PM. I want to speak with the owner ASAP or headquarters to see how this will be handled or it will go further.

I stayed at Days Inn Ruthers Glen Va. when I checked out on my way home I checked my account and I was doubled charged. I talked to 3 different people at that Days Inn. It was confirmed I was double charged. I had to wait several days to be credited. The VERY day my account was credited another charge of $20.61 appears. Now I am trying to fiquire our what this is. I am sorry but this has been the most stressful, expensive go fast night I have ever had. I sent an email on the 10-11-17 about the random charge of $20.61 and I have not heard anything back. By using Days Inn with my Wyndham points has been the worst experience I have had with Wyndham! I am not going to give up to get my $20.61 back. The saddest part of it all. We are going back to the amusement park this weekend and would be booking 3 rooms and I am afraid to use Days Inn because of the way all the charges are happening. The hotel was older but it was clean, neat and I felt safe there with my children alone without my husband. Getting irritated and upset to say the least.

Days inn hillsborough nj. Cigarette holes in bedding. Ripped and stained curtains. Sticky spills not cleaned up on tables. Hair in bathtub... We didnt even bother to use it! Carpets not vacuumed. This is room 116. Forgot my sons photo yearbook. Called right away and turned around. When I got there they said book wasnt there. I told them yes it was. They let me in room and book was laying right on bed where I left it! We weren't about to try and eat anything that came out of this mess of a place!
