floors in bathroom slippery and very dirty carpet
I just wanted to cancel my second night we didn't feel at home. Walking on carpet felt awful. bathroom floor got all wet. And almost slip and fell when getting out of shower. I have always stayed at days in this has to be one of the dirtiest room I have ever seen. I don't think we should have to pay for the second night when we didn't even stay here. I wouldn't have made such a big deal about these but when I called the front desk and ask to cancel the second night he told me I couldn't. I kept pictures if y'all want to see them we stayed in room 107. Motel is located on mesa street. about 3 mile north from Sunland park casino
substandard cleanliness of whole hotel
[protected]-0700)
From the time we walked in to the time I left we all felt a little disgusted by the sanitary look to the place. I waited at the front desk to check in and waited 5minutes or more, no big deal. When he came back he took my info found my reservation and I went top put on credit card and he said it would not go through. When he swiped it, the card reader said approved but he struggled and asked for another card. Did the same thing to that one and let me go to the room and said he would figure it out later. So my family and I went to the room and we almost all got sick. This place is rundown. I have been in low and high end hotel rooms all over America and I never seen anything like this. Wallpaper was tore off the corner of the room walls, outlet covers missing, nothing stayed in the outlets because they are shot, crude pieces of plastic on the beds under the sheets I am guessing to keep something out, horrid smell in all hallways and rooms, carpets are crude and dirty, bathroom door did not shut and looked like it was used as a work bench, mold on the walls in the bathroom, 2 towels for 4 people reservation, turned the TV on and the remote did not do anything? Very poor experience and nothing compaired to some of the stories I have read here. I went across the street and paid $215/night which was much more than we expected for the weekend but much more enjoyable! You guys need to invest a lot of money into these hotels or sell them off or better yet bulldoze them all. It is apparent that no money gets put back into these properties. I would like to get my money back which was $108.99 for a night we did not stay.
room
I currently rented a room over the weekend. 07-28-2017 to 07-30-2017
I found bed bugs in the bed around midnight the night of the 28th. I went to the front desk and was told that yes they had other complaints and they had just started spraying. The moved us to another room (me, my 15 year old daughter, and my 1 year old son) and said even though it was a suite they weren't going to charge us extra. Seriously? On Sat. night around 10pm I had a knock on the door from the night clerk asking my name and what the room was under because they had no record of me being in the hotel. After paying close to $250.00 for the 2 night stay I was not even apologized to for the inconvenience and having to wake up my sleeping baby to accommodate moving and being interrupted at 10pm questioning why I was in a room they moved me to.
hotel
Our stay at days inn Lockerbie was a very unpleasant stay.
As any parent in summer holidays we couldn't wait to take our little boy on a holiday. I was contacted twice to ask how many kids were coming, and both times said 1. When arriving there were 2 single beds making little space in the room.
On arrival at days inn, there was no one at reception I pressed the buzzer no one came, I waited 15 minutes and again pressed it no one came. We had to leave as our little boy was getting restless sitting in the car as we had been for the last 2 hour driving. We went for a walk and went back 20 minutes later. Still no one at reception, pressed buzzer 10-15 minutes later someone walked in the front door. She then could not find our reservation, waited about 10 minutes. Couldn't find room key, again waiting. Then I had to ask about free parking after paying for the hotel. To which the reception booked us for 1 days parking I had to tell her we were there for 3. Very unorganised as we had booked weeks in advance. Was also advertised as 3 restaurants which led us to believe this was part off the hotel. Which was not a McDonald's and costa which to me is not a restaurant. McDonald's is fast food and costa is a coffee shop. We had a balcony in our room with information about the security which I have taken a picture off and will attach to email. The key did not fit the door and our little boy could open the door with ease as it couldn't be locked securely just with a latch you push down which he was able to open. With a chair on the balcony adding to the panic if he woke up during the night he could open the door and stand on the chair making the risk higher. The room was unclean, I had to clean all surfaces and the toilet had stains all over the seat. There was food under the dressing table. The bedsheets had stains. Not happy and will not return to day inn hotel. We left one night early, none off us wanted to stay another night. Didn't even get a goodbye from reception or asked how our stay was.

filthy rooms, theft from room, unsafe lighting in hallways, non-working tv, toilet, refrigerator
Checked into a room in Elyria, Ohio. First thing noticed was broken toilet and filthy room. Refrigerator did not work, TV had no signal. Front desk wasn't able to resolve issues. Lighting in hallways was provided by lamps on mismatched small tables with cords going into various rooms. None of the ice machines were functioning.
Overall very bad experience and upon check out, we discussed all of these issues. Nothing was offered in the way of compensation, no discount, just a very disinterested "sorry".
At our next stop at a Holiday Inn Express, which looked like the Taj Mahal in comparison, I realized I had left my Kindle in the room at Days Inn. Called the desk and they said nothing had been turned in, so it was basically stolen by housekeeping.
I have to say that staying at this Days Inn was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced and will never stay at another.
days inn albuquerque new mexico northeast
I checked into this Days Inn late on July 22. Even though I travel a lot this was my first time staying at a Days Inn hotel. When getting to my room I discovered the wifi was not working. I called front desk and was told it was down and not sure when it would be back up. Two hours later it was still not up. The following night was good, however on the 24th it was down again. I went to the front desk and left my name and number requesting the manager call me the following day. At 3:00 the following day I placed a call to the hotel to speak with the manger. Brian said he was not in. I ask Brian if he could call him and ask him to call me. He said no. I explained my concerns with 2 out of 3 nights of my stay not having wifi and he said there was nothing they could do. He said the manager would not call me and I needed to be at the hotel at 9:00 if I wanted to talk to him. I told him I leave at 6:30 everyday and I could not be at the hotel at 9:00. He proceeded to tell me that was my problem and "I was not listening ". He said the wifi was up then and I ask what if it is not up at 9:00 tonight and he said we would have to see. When I got to my room that night at 9:30 I had wifi but no television. The gentleman from the front desk came to look at it and could not fix it.
My concerns are these. Three out of my so far 4 day stay I have had either no wifi or no television. These are not bonuses but things that every other hotel in Albuquerque have. I travel a lot and have never had a hotel have their wifi down let alone down this many times. But even beyond that the fact that the manager would not call me back and that Brian was so rude. Is this a clear representation of all Days Inn. I am in Albuquerque 5 times a year, Chicago 2 times a year, Illinois 6 times a year at various places, Wisconsin 3 times a year at various places and have never found these problematic other hotels. I can comfortably say at this time that Days Inn will be my last resort in my future travels if this is a true representation of your company.
I would truly like someone to call me at [protected] to explain how these things can happen. Thank you for letting me share this.

days inn historic charleston, sc
I recently stayed at the Days Inn in downtown Historic Charleston, SC. The staff was extremely rude, confirmation of my reservation and parking was a nightmare at check-in, confirmed lies and pass the blame to third party booking, the room was dirty, used towels, tub and bathroom obviously not cleaned, mildew and old cigarette smoke, disgusting! The property manager was so extremely rude that I called the customer service line immediately from my gross dirty room at check-in to complain. I received no resolution. I called twice more and sent several emails over a two-week period with zero resolution. I then charged back the two night stay on my credit card, reported the entire incident to American Express Corporate Travel, and wrote as many bad reviews as possible for fellow travelers to avoid Days Inn and any Wyndham property at all costs. I expect no resolution as it is obvious this company cares nothing about customer service. Just look at the other reviews! Everyone had horrible experiences, all over the country. Never, ever ever again will I stay at a Days Inn or any Wyndham property. You shouldn't either! Don't do it! Disgusting! Dirty! Zero customer service! Avid avoid avoid!
bad smoking smell room, cockroach in food, wrong price charged..
On July 4, 2017 late evening, I checked in for a non-smoking room for 380 yuan per night at Days Hotel & Suites in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China (add: No.1 Wenbi Rd, Tianning District, Changzhou, zip:213000, Tel: [protected]). One breakfast was included.
After arrival at room, it had bad smoking smell inside. It is a smoking room, which they did "non-smoking treatment" earlier.
On July 5th Morning, the front desk changed my room to a different non-smoking room #3222 with the same rate of 380 yuan and the same rate for additional room#3223 for my senior parents over 80 years old. If there is 2nd guest who needs breakfast from room#3223, it will be 50 yuan extra charge. Ms. Le helped with the registration.
While moving luggage on the hall way to the new room, there was a guest smoking in his room with the door open. Elevators had bad smoking smells later days too.
July 5th evening, A terrible thing happened at its Chinese food dinning room. There was a Cockroach in our ordered food. That dish was removed after. But the Deputy director of F&B: Fiona Xie was rude and she did not come to apologize. (Her Chinese name is : Xie, mu hua). The food charge is 228 yuan.
However, on the departure day of July 9th, I found that the room rate was increased from 380 to 450 yuan/ night on my bill. I disagreed with it. But Fiona Xie was very unprofessional and she ordered the front desk that I must pay that higher rate first, then I can depart. It was her powerful order. I was charged 3308 yuan in total from July 4 to 9. (2nd room was booked for 3 nights.) Fiona Xie said on 07/05/17 that one night would be free because my total booking was over 6 nights).

I booked a room 7-12-17 on Days Inn Toledo, Ohio for 7-14 thru 7-16-17, to visit the Toledo Zoo. We arrive approximate 11:05p, during shift change. They had my reservation and gave me documents to sign after showing my ID, which she made a copy, and my credit card. As we proceeded to our rooms, in the car, we noticed that the 1st floor had patio sliding doors? We proceeded to our room that was on the first floor, and notice trash in hallway and the decor was horrible. We arrived at the room and noticed we had two different door key cards for #181 and #188. #181 was assigned, and once we entered the smell was gross. The security latch was gone, the sliding doors a complete turn off, the remote did not work, no trash can, dirty washcloth on floor. I returned to the front desk to find out why and to my surprise she states I booked two rooms. I assured her I only booked 1 double room on Days Inn Toledo website. She states the other was done through a reservation site. I advised her I never use those, I always book with the hotel directly. She states she would cancel the other room. Once we chose room #188, and returned the other key she then stated she was told I have 5 people in my room and asked how many, which agreed, she then states the most to a room is 3 people. I asked since when its a double bed. I told her I indicated the max of 5 but the website states 5 max to a room. She just said I don't know what to tell you. I asked for a room on 2nd floor she state completely booked, but could give me a king. It was getting late and my group was hungry. 2nd room not better, and housekeeping never showed to clean room had to get towels and toiletries from desk and the wi fi never worked. I have stayed at other Days Inn and never had this experience. Training is surely needed at this location. I would never recommend this location and I would never stay here again. I am requesting a refund of $164.26, for king room #179 that I was billed for.
bad service
I booked a room for 07/19/17 at days inn in centerville, tx on accident which I didn't even get to stay in due to a family member passing away. I've spoken to customer care 6 time and the hotel many time but it seems like they keep giving me the runaround, I would like all my money back for I didn't even authorize y'all (days inn / windham). I'm not playing the screw the customer around. Called many times and still no resultion, who do I call
charged twice for hotel stay and caused my bank to go into the negative
I was charged twice for my hotel stay. I booked on Priceline for $180 but was added additional $139 at the time of checkout. I originally was told this was a deposit and that it would fall off but this is false. the unexpected charge put my account into the negitave as I budget very wisely in this economy. Read all reviews for this hotel before booking...they will rip you off.. I called to question the additional $140 charge from Ken (manager) and the woman at the front desk and was told that I should have looked at the sign on the front door claiming a deposit would be held in my account. She never once checked my account and assumed that she made no errors. I waited for this so called "deposit" to drop from my account for 11 days. When I called to follow up for the third time I was told that they didn't know why I was charged twice and that it had never happened before. I have no money in my account and haven't for the last 10 days bc of their mistake. Nothing is being done for me and I have to wait 7 more days for the refund to hit. Horrible customer service as they did not take responsibility for this mistake at all. This area has a ton of hotels around it so I would highly suggest NOT staying here. I chose this hotel bc I needed something cheap but it backfired as it emptied my bank account. I have no family in this state to borrow money from and was very put out by this not to mention that my car happen to break down. No one at the hotel cared that they created a gigantic problem for me and that I didn't even have enough money on my account to eat that day or for the last week. Stay away from Ken and from this Days Inn in Chattanooga off Hamilton place. Very, very upset that I am having to go through something that wasn't my fault and could have been handled so much better. I am a 30 year old widow and doing the best I can with my funds and budgeting my hotel stays. I have never been treated like such trash in my life. As a manager of customer service for 10 years I am highly dissatisfied with days inn and the poor management of this hotel. Ken did not care about double charging and tried to blame me several times while on the phone. He even laughed at one point at me. Please read previous reviews as this isn't the first time the hotel has treated a guest in this way and DOUBLE charged. Is this how days inn treats it's guests? Horrible and i will let all of my coworkers, friends and family know about this situation via social networking and word of mouth. I have screenshotted the reviews of other guests to warn them away bc this must happen often where Ken steals from guests.
customer service
Its been over a month since i placed 2 complaints and i have yet to hear from anyone. Guess they dont care about their guest. Im a local here and i will never reccomend this place to anyone. They manager was rude and made sure i had to pay more for my stay. I will not be bullied into paying more than i was quoted. I moved to a different hotel and was treated like a queen. I know nobody will contact me regarding this. Not a happy guest.
hotel room
Checking into this hotel got my key went to the room as soon as I opened the door room 228 there was a horrible smell open the door never even walked in... from the door way you could see the bed it was broke, one side up to the height it should be the other side on the floor... but yet the bed was made. so there was an employee in this room because they took the time to make the bed but did not do anything about the bed being broke, and the let me rent this room. I went right back to the desk and said NO I will not be staying here the girl at the desk was not surprised at all when I told her about the room all she said was O really ok I will cancel your room. This was on 6/27/2017... But of course got my credit card bill today No charge for the room on 6/27/17... but there is a charge for the room on 7/6/2017 I have called twice and the manager Dennis still has not called me back regarding these charges.
the room was infested with bed bugs
My children and I could not sleep or enjoy my stay while there. And an still suffering two nights later. I have more then 80 bites on me and had to explain to my children's mothers why our children are suffering. I came and told the front desk of my issues and requested my money back. Even after I brought bed bugs to the office that I found in the bed I was only granted a 50% discount.
money payback/ customer service
My name is Derek West and I stayed at the Iselin-Woodbridge hotel in New Jersey on July 7th. I had the reservation for the 7th and the 8th and checkout on the 9th. However, I only needed to stay the 7th and I checked out Saturday morning the 8th so I didnt use one of my 2 nights. The front desk said they would refund me my money for the day I wasnt there and to allow 3 business days. I call on wednesday because I had not been refunded they apologized and said please wait two more business days, I call back last night Sunday the 16th and the guy was very rude and cut me off mid sentence and said "my manager will be here 10am tomorrow call back then okay? okay, " and then hung up on me. Today Monday the 17th I call back at 10:44am still not received my refund and the guy says "I will tell my manager please allow another 48hours" It is going on 2 weeks now. And I feel like I am getting strung along and the guy working the desk sunday night was incredibly rude.
banquet hall
Please send this to the right Dept. I am wanting to file a complaint on one of your Days Inn Hotel. It is Days Inn, Jane Lew West Virginia. We rented the Days Inn Banquet Hull for Saturday July 15th. This was for my Daughters Wedding Reception. We had around 170 People attending. While everyone was showing up around 5pm, the air conditioning was not working. It was so hot that after 30 minutes, around 70 of my family members who traveled over 2 hours to get there got up and left. This was due the heat. It was hotter than 80 degrees in the Banquet Hall. before we could even get the activities started, over half the people there had left due to the Heat. I spent $1, 000 to rent this Banquet Hall. It ruined my Daughters Wedding and I want my money back. On Friday the night before while decorating, we noticed how hot it was there. We were told by the staff that the air would be fixed by the next day. It was not. If I cant get this worked out, my next step will be to contact our Attorney Generals Office to see what they can do. This was in accessible to my family and I. Please let me know what you can do. Thanks
That's ok little girl, think what you want. What I read was that this customer was upset because they had no air for the wedding reception. Sounds to me like your mommy needs to wash your mouth out with soap. I have been through these reviews, read a lot of them, you respond to all the neg. one's. You stick up for a company that has nasty rooms. I don't want anything for free. I work hard for my money. When I stay in a motel because I am traveling 3000 miles I want to sleep in a clean bed. Not one that has bugs on it. You have completely turned me off when you responded to the death in the family review. Saying the family member committed suicide. IF you were an adult you would have responded like one. Maybe you need to stop hanging out in mommy's basement, playing on the computer and learn to be an adult, but I forgot, your a little girl. See? I can be as much as a [censored] bag as you are, Mr. Patel

I was given a room, it had cobwebs around the walls. Ac was falling apart. And had a bad oder. I spoke with the desk and told her about the room. She only replied do you want your money back. I said do you have another room and she said nothing but looking at the computer and then gave me another room and said ok here you go. The second one had looks like mold around the walls with a dirty ac. I added pictures and quick cam.
service/forced reimbursement/quality of room
Many issues. I checked in, recieved my room key. Went to my room & opened the door to an occupied room. Went to the front desk, informed them. I was told no one was in there. They then made me wait 45 minutes in the lobby. Offered me 3 kokanee beer, 2 nestle waters, 1 can of cocacola, all items not sold by hotel. So... Garbage from other guests and was told I would receive 10$ off my stay. I was not asked if that was okay, I was told what was okay. I instantly refused the drinks and informed the clerk I don't drink beer. He then forced the water and pop on me as I walked away. I left those items in the room as I left. The room I was assigned smelt of sweet and rotting garbage, the stove was out of order, smoke detector was ripped from the ceiling, bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was freezing cold and the heat would not work. The blanket provided was terrible and did nothing to help. I did not wish to talk with the front counter staff as they were unhelpful in all other aspects. There were many unsafe features of the room due to diy repairs from un licenced contractors. As I was checking out, staff members children were left unsupervised. I asked for compensation or something to make up for the issues and the fact I didn't get in to a room until after midnight. I was told they would give me the room at 110$ plus taxes. I was not given any choice to refuse or accept. As I had to leave for work promplty I had no time to decline the offer and I opted to email the location about my issues. I received a call from the front desk apologizing about the issue and they kept telling me that I should be grateful for the beverages and discount I received. Which I am not, the beverages came as an insult. Like I wouldn't know they came from previous guests and the lack of knowledge can be forgotten. I was told that front desk would call me back after he talked with his manager. An hour later I received an email telling me that the beverages and discount were more than enough compensation.
hotel
I stayed at the Days Inn in Parachute, CO on June 17, 2017. We reserved a handicapped room and was assigned room 307. Upon entering the room we immediately smelled a rotten odor. after trying to sleep on the bed that night, I could not walk the next morning. Visual inspection of the bed showed the four corners of the bed curling up approximately four inches or more higher than the middle of the bed. My wife went to the front desk complaining about the room and requested a refund for the second night at 10:30 in the morning. They told us expedia.com had to grant the refund. Expedia agreed to the refund but the hotel then blocked it. My wife told them she may have to take me to the hospital because of the broken down bed. They did not care.I am on 100% disability with Social Security from a back injury
Breakfast was a horror show. There were no eggs, no meat, no fruit, no pastries, no half and half. There old, hard biscuits and gravy an cheap bread. Oatmeal and milk was gone. There was no yogurt either. The only dry cereal was Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops.
I wrote hotel management and Windham to complain after retuning home. All I received was a form memo with my name typed in with another font. The memo was as pathetic as my stay at their hotel.
After researching expedia.com about this hotel, I found many, many horrible reviews of this hotel. Apparently all of them received and referenced the same memo I had received. The complaints on the reviews cited the same complaints I had and more. Complaints were bad smells, broken down beds, bed bugs, stained sheets, green algae in the pool and hot ub, tainted water, tainted food, horrible breakfast, and management that did not care about their customers.
Stay away from this hotel, especially room 307!. Please forward these complaints to state agencies and appropriate regulators.
whole hotel
was beyond horrible, we couldn't believe the condition of the hotel. When we walked in the smell was horrible, there was mold on the windows and in the bathroom, the floor was pulling apart we kept tripping over it, the whole building period is falling, there was constant drug activity and prostitutes, the staff was rude it took them three days of our five days to even clean our room to even acknowledge us plus it was twelve o clock at night when they banged on our door to clean it by then our kids were sleeping we told them to come back in the morning, we found bed bugs at the end of our stay, I can keep going we will never stay here again it was the worst hotel we stayed in. If possible we would like our money back thank you and hope to hear from you soon. 07/07/2017 to 07/12/2017 was our stay/ Days inn Cincinnati east 4056 Mt.Carmel Tobasco Road Cincinnati Ohio 45255/ our confirmation number is [protected] pin is 1331
