taco salad not with the money - request a refund
On 8-31-19 I bought a taco salad thru the drive thru, order #74 at the store located on Lake Forest/5 Fwy. Upon getting home I found the salad no longer served in the crisp taco shell, but was served on a "plato" dish, with very little meat, no beans, maybe 1 tsp of cheese, the lettuce was limp & looked dead and maybe if lucky there were 6 chips. I paid $5.99 for a "signature salad" as noted on the receipt. What a disappointment! This definitely was not worth the money. I would request a refund.
This is the 2nd time I've been disappointed with a meal from Del Taco. The other time, we ordered Del Beef Hamburgers and there was fried residue from the grill on the meat itself and it was crunchy. I returned them to the store and the manager (a young guy) was indignant that I was returning them.
Maybe it's time to go to Taco Bell or Apollo Loco.

Yes I got a finger nail clipings in my epic steak and potatoe burrito on Aug 29at around 7-9 pm my wife orders thru drive through and I came home from work to eat dinner and in my second bite I got a hard sharp poke in my check so I pulled it out and shure enough it was a finger nail and I keep it for evidence I would like if you could at least shoot me some

I went to del taco around 4:45 in the morning, right after I got off of work, I was told they were running there end of day and (which I understand completely because I worked fast food)it would be 30 minutes I waited about 10 minutes or 15 minutes I went back through the drive through. because I wanted to see what time it would be up and running and instead of getting a straight answer, I was told it was going to be another 45 minutes and I said to him, you told me it was gonna be 30 minutes, and now you're saying another 45 minutes, and his response was it's, whatever it's going to be, he does not control technology, that was very rude and unnecessary... I had just gotten off work, and I was heading home and I just wanted an estimated time of how long I was going to be waiting. And that was the response I got, and then he proceeded to say 30 minutes for one part, and then 30 minutes for another part and on and on. I just feel this person was very arrogant and very unhelpful. And could care less about the customer. Normally, I don't complain about these things. But the way he talked to me was unacceptable

Goodbye forever. I've given the location @ 6550 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA 91201 so many 'last chances' but this was the last time I'll be doing that. I've never met a more inconsistent store. I've come to this location over 100 times this year(work lunch favorite) and they've got my order wrong or unsufficient at least 20 times. They usually get my order wrong by either giving me the incorrect chicken rollers or not providing me with the extra chicken I order on those or on the Pollo Asada bowls. Today they did not give me a receipt so I couldn't even complain about them not giving me the extra chicken.
You might think that I can't judge what extra chicken is. Not only have I ordered that and gotten it most of the time and seen inconsistencies, but I also weigh out the chicken I cook at home and confirmed with the Del Taco how much extra I should be getting. I've even specifically ordered only 1 roller with extra chicken and 1 without to test them and they fail. I also get the correct order when I order from *other* Del Taco's. Even though I have complained before I have not seen any better fulfillment of my order. If it was not for the coupons the Del Taco app provides I would have stopped coming long ago but at this point, I don't see myself ever returning, at least not to this location. My visitation has gone from ~18x a month to now maybe 2-3 for drunk night orderings near my home in LA.
I really hope that in the future Del Taco can come out with a sticker like Jack in the Box does that specifies that the order was custom made so I can at least know they tried. So pissed because I really like Del Taco. I do not want any resolution, I do not trust the chefs, cashiers, or management at this location to fix their multitude of problems.

On 8/26/2019 at 3:25 a.m. I went to Del Taco #0138 to get something to eat I ordered a number 2 meal combo burrito Macho fry and Macho drink. Bought in the Drive-Thru when I got you where I was going I sat down to eat my food and the burrito add nothing in it a little bit of sauce I paid $8 or a tortilla with some sauce in it no me or anything else I was very angry add to keep my cool. I would like to be reimbursed for that disgusting meal because I do not think that was right total bill was $8.95:

I am requesting a refund on my order have went in multiple time to get some kind of resolution have been treated very rudely had a pretty large order consisting of 27 hard tacos 6 soft and to 1lbs bean burritos when I got home only had 12 tacos, Bean burritos were in there own sleeves with everything coming out procedded to call numerous time with no flipping answer went in next day only wanted to give me % bucks back and that would be a negative seeing how everything was a total mess went in next day only wanted to give me 6 tacos that also is a negative all I want is either a refund or my order to be complete night manager was heavy set with glasses and was very very rude. I would like for this situation to be taken care of in a timely matter seeing it has aleady been two weeks today the location is in Greeley on 23rd ave and they also never ever answer the phone . On August 27, at 9:15 a.m., the Del Taco drive thru employee was very rude while I was trying to order on the speaker. She was rushing me while I was trying to order with a demanding voice. I was trying to order a new breakfast wrap that I was confused on ordering. And instead of helping me on informing what kind they had, she was rushing me with an angry voice. She was very inpatient. Me and my wife were at del taco in ridgecrest ca (#0179) on 8/23/2019 around 5:45. An Employee named William kept staring at my wife while we were waiting for our food. He went on break while we were waiting, we got our food and when we left he was sitting right outside the front door and started taking pictures or video taping my wife with his phone while we were walking to our car. I really hope something is done about this kid. I have heard he has done this before to other women.

Robert helped take my order on Saturday at 2:20. After he took my order i proceeded to the dinning room. It was a mess, no clean tables. I asked Robert if we could get the tables wiped off. He barked "After i take care of all these people. Cant you see how busy i am? He clearly couldnt hsndle the lunch crush. And there was only three of us. I told him he had a bad attitude and he rolled his eyes. Never apologized. Still sitting here with not one clean table. This place is always understandstaffed and they cater to thedrive thru and the dining room crowd gets treated like second class citizens. I suggest Robert do some more training in the customer service department.

I pulled up to the window and was greeted with unpleasant attitude. I smiled and overly said thank you...no response but stares. When I received my Diet Coke, I noticed that it tasted off. I didn't want to ask to change it (since I wasn't met with a friendly demeanor originally)...but I proceeded to mention that something was off and it taste off. I then asked to switch to regular coke. As I asked, the lady just stared at me like I was crazy. She went to change it...while leaving my food on the window sill. As I'm listening to them talk about it, my food almost fell on the ground outside. Luckily I was able to catch it mid fall. No apology at all from the key working. Then I hear them say the Diet Coke is full (insinuating I was wrong). I said ok but it still tastes funny. Not a pleasant experience. Will NOT go back to that location. I was nothing but polite and met with people who appear to hate their job. I tried to be extra nice and polite to break their mood. It didn't work. I do not know any of there names, but I left the location about 10 minutes ago.

I recently went to get a simple breakfast burritos and hashbrowns through the drive-through which the service person was very nice and courteous… After driving off and receiving my food I noticed that my hash brown sticks were completely old and cold… The freshness and crispy and hot hashbrowns and I want it definitely were not that… Then do realize I just said OK I guess I can put up with this instead of turning back around… I only realize that my breakfast rollers weren't the bacon ones and something Totally different...

I am a frequent customer of Del Taco and just recently I've encountered this Manager at store #[protected]. Today, I drove through the window to order your new Bacon and Egg Wrap, Queso Cheese nachos with the cheese poured on top and Jack Quesadilla (requested your from the dollar menu).
Once again, the manager on duty refused to place my order for Queso cheese nachos with the cheese poured on top. Typically he refuses to pour the cheese on top (I'm disabled and it's difficult for me to pop the top off the container; thus, I ask for the cheese to be poured on top). Today, I was told by this same manager that they have run out of the Queso cheese sauce which after calling the store; I was told this was untrue and to come inside to place order. I work across the street from Del Taco at Golden West College and didn't want to be late for work so I thought I'd send this message to the complaint board. This same manager on several instances for some reason will not let me place an order for nachos. I even asked to upsell and hold the other ingredients so that I can only have chips/cheese. I feel like this manager is discriminating me for some reason unbenounced to me. I have no idea why he continues to refuse my order. I ordered this same order yesterday minus the manager with no problems yesterday. I can't understand why he continues to mistreat me. I explained that I'm disabled and it's difficult for me to open the cheese container. He continues to ignore, I'm very frustrated and in tears. value tacos
I sent my husband out to pick up tacos for Tuesday taco night. They were ridiculous, nothing we had experienced before from one of your establishments. We love Del Taco and granted it was taco special night, it was all bad. Very little meat, absolutely no cheese at all, over abundance of lettuce and each taco shell was broken. We had to add our own cheese and take off alot of lettuce. Got this around 9pm and too tired, hungry and irritated to go back out to return. We are loyal customers but not wanting to waste our time and money on food not made right.

I went to del taco in hemet at 3100 w florida ave. I asked to add some tacos to my order the girl refused. I would have pulled aside to wait. She did not even offer or care. I have never had this problem before. It was at 750pm the girl was blonde white and heavyset. Instead i went to your competitor and will be happily doing so from now own. I have a family of 7 so i make big orders. However, i only wanted to add 4 tacos. She alo refused to give me my reciept because she new i was going to complain. I asked for it and she walked away! Stupid, arrogant staff who treat the visitor with discrimination, I parked my car went to the neighboring Seabra and on leaving would go with my 10 year old daughter to eat there and had my car towed and also scratched my car. I had a child with a leg problem. I will never go to this establishment again, nor will I take my clients back to this establishment. I have been in this country for 13 years and have never had my car squeaked out because I don't park in the wrong place, go shopping at the property and have it squeak my car? what abuse of power ... they still lie to the police that the manager was not on the spot if Jorge from H&A Towing and Recoveru LLC was the one who told me that Manager Vessa was the one who called them. Police commented that they did this because it is a tourist area to take advantage of the tourist. I am not a tourist, I am documented in this country and even if I was a tourist I would eat at the establishment they had no reason to have my car squeaked and scratched. where did you see if you will visit two three four stores in the same parking lot changing your car? only with you? if I had parked for more than 6, 7, 8 hrs ... but it was 17 min. if I was only at Seabra I would have parked in front of them because there was parking space, as I would eat in Del Taco already parked in front. Learn to respect people, tourists or residents are people and deserve respect. And my injury who will solve?
beyond meat items
I am incredibly disappointed in the fact that Del Taco removed the excellent Turkey Taco from its menu in favor of this "beyond meat" stuff. I did try one and by no means tastes like real meat. I was literally shocked when I learned that the turkey taco was no longer on the menu. Now, I am back to buying beef which I don't like as much and is not as healthy. Also, why did Del change its rice recipe? That's insane! The previous rice was great! Very tasty. The new rice is gross. I'll never order that again. I have been a Del customer for many years but I am afraid to say that while I will be back, it certainly won't be as often. Please fix the rice and get the turkey taco back on the menu.

no food for my child in the bag!
Hello, my name is Joy Heer, and my family just got home to find that my daughter (who specifically asked for a Del Taco taco for dinner) had no tacos in the bag when we got home. It was not a large order at all. I only had gotten food for my daughters. The order was totally simple, just two Cups of beans and cheese, two tacos, and a chicken rollup. Also had ordered two waters.
When I got my bag, I said thank you, and he said have a nice day. He was a young Caucasian man w dark hair and dark eyes. There was a disheveled red haired and unshaven guy also working where I could see and they were having a conversation. I drove away. I realized as I drove away that they forgot my waters, but I had starving girls and my baby was crying because she was so hungry, so I just thought "Oh, well". When we got home, there was only the beans and the chicken rollup in the bag. There was absolutely no way I was getting those girls back in the car, so I had to give My poor five-year-old daughter the bad news that they had forgotten her much looked-forward-to tacos. She was hungry and crying uncontrollably as I had to scramble to find her something I could fix her really quick, and we were all very upset. We go to this taco Del taco quite a bit, and usually have good food and service. My kids like the play place, though someone in charge should know that the whole entire play area smells like REALLY STINKY FEET! For YEARS it has been this way...
How hard is it to send someone for a whole shift one day to empty out a can of Lysol out on every surface, use Clorox Wipes to wipe it down, and then Febreeze the whole area? Then wipe down nasty surfaces w Clorox wipes and Febreeze it as needed? Someone should be SENT UP IN THERE once a week to inspect and wipe it down w Clorox wipes at least once a week. I just don't get it!
Bad smells are from BACTERIA, so obviously nobody ever cleans that place. Whole family eat at Taco Bell at one time or another, but my mother refuses to eat in the play area because it smells so bad. the whole reason that I stopped at Del Taco Was so I didn't have to cook and I could feed my hungry children right away! AND so I didn't have to cook (it being a little bit late) and I could feed my hungry children right away! So this totally defeated the purpose for me stopping in the first place. Nobody had a pleasant dinner.
Having my meal replaced isn't going to make us feel better, either.

This was taco night so 3 tacos are just $1.49 and I have been a good customer for many years. But on this night, they rang me up for $6.04 which I knew was wrong as I normally just buy 6 tacos & shake and pay $2.89 total.
The first cashier seemed to be new and a 2nd got involved and still said the total was correct. Then the manager even checked saying the total was correct so I paid the bill under duress.
When I got home I quickly saw that they had only given me one value taco night discount of 88 cents instead of the 3 discounts I should have received. So I was out 2 X .88 = $1.76. You can verify this by looking at order #55 for 08/06/19 at store #0087.
Now at this point, having been cheated at the window and having to spend time emailing Del Taco, I expect some sort of nice coupon for a decent credit of say $6 or more. Maybe you can inform the manager that the credit will be charged to his store.
My receipt did not even have the numbers so I could a dollar off my next visit, if there is one! If you do not respond quickly and do right by me, I may never go back to Del Taco. That would be such a shame as I love the food and it is near by my home.

spider in my cup
I called the Del taco on Telegraph in Dearborn Michigan to let them know that it was a large spider in my cup and that it was purely disgusting. The manager on duty laughed so hard and told me that there was no way that there was a spider in my cup. I advised him that I was telling him that it was and I just wanted the store to be mindful of it. I wasn't looking for anything in return. I frequent Del Taco because it was one of my favorite fast food restaurants He laughed again and ask me what I wanted out of the call. I explained that I was calling corporate to report the complaint and he said that was fine. The manager on duty said his name was Dylan and I just wanted to report how disgusted I was with the spider in my cup and your managers response to my complaint. I am completely floored by my experience. I would like action taken against this employee or I will have to spread the word to the world about how Del Taco feels about their customers and that they don't mind severing spiders and who knows what else with our meals.

This is the second time that I was delivered cold food. Del Taco is on 3rd and Gaffey I live on 8th and Pacific. It's only 10 minutes away. No excuse for this. I didn't say anything the first time but this time the tacos were horrible. I threw them out. I'm very angry because I'm an Army Veteran who couldn't enjoy his meal. I'm also a former employee and loyal customer even after leaving. So how many more times is this going to happen.
