On 5/28, I done agreed to an extended warranty on my Chevrolet Volt with Denooyer Chevrolet in Colonie, NY on a payment plan
On 5/28, I done agreed to an extended warranty on my Chevrolet Volt with Denooyer Chevrolet in Colonie, NY on a payment plan. They charged me $339.16 as a down payment. The next day, I told Denooyer Chevrolet (this guy named George) that I didn't want the extended warranty and asked them to cancel it and give me back my down payment. I also told my salesman, John D. Even though I called them many times, they still haven't put the money back in my account.
I used to work at DeNooyer Chevrolet
I used to work at DeNooyer Chevrolet. When I quit, I told them to take my address off their mailing list. I also told them to remove my partner from the list since we live together. I've asked them many times to stop sending us mail. They said they removed us from the system, but we still get mail about their services and sales. They even updated my new address when I told them, so I could get my tax forms. Recently, I called and they said ***, the BDC manager, would call me the next day to confirm that my info was gone. It's been three days and she hasn't called yet.
I took my van to DeNooyer Chevrolet Inc
I took my van to DeNooyer Chevrolet Inc. on 3/31 because the transmission was acting up in 1st and 2nd gears. I had recently gotten a new transmission installed. They told me that the wiring harness, pressure switch, and cooler lines of the transmission were faulty, along with the main wiring harness. They also mentioned that the serpentine belts needed to be changed. I asked them if fixing all of this would get my van back on the road. They took a month and a half to complete the work, and I finally got my truck back yesterday, 5/14. However, before I even reached home, I experienced the same issues again. I tried calling my contact, John A, but the secretary said he was at his desk and kept sending me to voicemail. Today, I finally spoke to him and he told me to keep driving it and see if it fixes itself or gets worse, and then he could take a look at it. This seems like nonsense to me. I spent $5236.80 on this, and it's still not any better than when I first brought it in. I don't understand how it's supposed to fix itself, and I need to know what to do next. All I really want is for my truck to be running properly, or if not, at least a refund. Thank you.

I went to DeNooyer Chevrolet on Sep
I went to DeNooyer Chevrolet on Sep. 9, 2021 with my 2013 Chevy Sonic. I needed them to diagnose and fix a P0420 code. They told me that the code was caused by the flex pipe between the two catalytic converters, which needed to be replaced. They did the replacement and charged me $606.96. They also did a NYS Inspection, but my vehicle failed because the on-board OBD monitors had to reset. They gave me a 10-day inspection waiver and told me to drive the car to reset the monitors. But before the monitors reset, another code popped up. Surprisingly, it was a P0450 code related to the EVAP pressure sensor. They replaced the sensor for $593.98. Still no inspection, even though they could have given me a one-year waiver because my total repair costs exceeded $450.00. It's worth noting that when I bought the car for the second time, the original P0420 code showed up as stored and pending on my *** code reader. I drove the car for 135 miles after the second repair, and the check engine light came on again.
Me and my hubby bought a car from DeNooyer Chevy in Albany NY in June
Me and my hubby bought a car from DeNooyer Chevy in Albany NY in June . When we got home, we realized it wasn't four wheel drive, so we called them the next day to bring it back and exchange it for something else. They said we couldn't do that and told us to come back in 3 months for help. So, we went back and they offered us 15,000 for a truck we still owed 30,000 on. We left and talked to a few folks who suggested we cancel our extended warranty and vehicle protection to lower the amount we owed and get a better trade-in deal.
I reached out to the dealer on 11/4 and they said they would cancel it, but it would take 4-8 weeks to process. I reached out again on December 6th, and they said it wasn't filed correctly, but they would process it right away. The finance manager called me on the same day and said he would take care of it in 3-5 business days. I called the bank and the warranty company, but they had no info on it as of December 20th. I left a message at the dealer, but got no response. Since December 20th, I've been calling the dealership every day and leaving messages for two different people, but no one returns my calls. It's been almost two months since I started this process, and it's still not resolved.
A con about DeNooyer Chevrolet Inc
A con about DeNooyer Chevrolet Inc. On 10/5, I had to get my 2014 *** towed to Denooyer because of an antifreeze leak. The service rep, DJ, told me it was a housing issue causing the leak and showed me what was wrong. However, they didn't have a loaner vehicle available, and they couldn't look at my car until the next week because some technicians were sick. They fixed the issue the following week, but I was without a car for a whole week and had to rely on my father for rides to work in Downtown Albany. I noticed that the antifreeze tank looked corroded, but they didn't replace it.
Fast forward to 9/3, and the antifreeze started leaking again. DJ and service rep Wayne told me a hose needed replacement, but once again, there was no loaner vehicle available, and the assigned technician called out sick on the scheduled repair day. I mentioned the corroded antifreeze tank again, but they didn't replace it. My father had to drive me to work multiple times during this repair.
Now, on 10/28, I noticed the antifreeze leaking for the third time, and it was coming from the previously ignored antifreeze tank. I had it towed in and informed Bob in the Service Department about the tank. They brought the vehicle into the garage, and as I suspected, the tank was causing the leak for the past two years. However, the technician assigned to my car on Friday 10/30 called out sick again. It's too convenient for my liking that a technician has called out sick three times. I really need my car for work, but Bob said they can't work on it until at least Monday 11/2. I have very important work coming up this week, and I can't keep asking to work from home when my office needs me there, especially on Thursday and Friday.
I had an appointment on Saturday, 02/29 at 10:00 a
I had an appointment on Saturday, 02/29 at 10:00 a.m. and had no problems with my vehicle except for the oil change reminder. After my husband picked up the car and drove for about 30 minutes, a notification for low oil pressure flashed on the screen. He was at another location and decided to wait until he finished before checking if the alarm would appear again. When he turned the car back on, the low oil pressure alarm persisted. My husband called the dealership for help and spoke to Emily at the service desk. When he explained the issue, she said we would have to call and pay for a tow to bring it back to the dealership. My husband got upset and told her that the dealership should do something since there were no previous issues. She argued back, saying they couldn't know if it was a pre-existing problem. He insisted that they should take some action. Eventually, Emily gave us the number for chevytow and we had the car towed to the shop. I called and spoke to the same person, asking about a loaner car since my husband still needed one for work, and the shop was closed on Sunday. She said she submitted the information to the loan department but hadn't been able to reach anyone. This left us without a car. I managed to find my husband a ride to work on Monday and informed them about it. Emily said it was good to hear because she still hadn't reached the loan department for a car. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told they weren't available. I requested a call back, and she said someone would call on Monday. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience and didn't seem to care if she helped us or not. Monday came and went without a call. In the early afternoon, my husband called to find out that our car was just being looked at. Why wasn't our car prioritized since the shop caused the issue on Saturday? I called after work at 3:15 p.m. and asked to speak to the manager about my car. I was put on hold. They told me the manager was with another customer and would call me back. When I asked about my car, the person on the phone said it just showed a hold on my car. When I asked what that meant, she said she didn't really know. It could be for parts. Someone should call me back. I mentioned that I was inquiring about a loaner car and asked about its status. The woman who answered said she saw a request for one, but the person in charge wasn't available to talk to. I never received a call back from either of them. Later, my husband received a call from the mechanic who said our oil pump was broken and needed to be replaced. He apologized for the long wait and said management should have made sure our car was looked at first since the issue happened over the weekend. On Tuesday, 03/03, we didn't receive any calls about our car. My husband called the shop around 2 p.m. and found out they were waiting for the oil pump to arrive. They had to remove the hood to access the oil pump and said it should be worked on tomorrow, 03/04. We have both been without our car since Saturday afternoon. I still haven't gotten my car back, haven't received a call back from management, or an apology for the inconvenience. I am extremely unhappy with my experience at DeNooyer Chevrolet.
