shipping/receiving items
Total scam. I ordered products on 11/14/19. I received no shipping notification. I then called 11/29/19 to see the status on the order and they said it was lost at warehouse. They then re-ordered the products. Same thing happened. I call again to see when it would ship - they cannot give me a status on when it will ship. I then asked to cancel my order and they said they cannot and will not cancel my order...
I called six times customer service throughout the past 2 weeks and now have filed a complaint dispute through my credit card company to get my money back (hopefully). In the process I was lied to by customer service. Here are the lies I was told. I was told one day when I called that my package would arrive by 8pm the same day. She said that just to get me off the phone. There was no tracking number of "said" shipping. I was also told at some point the package was delivered, and I asked what day that was, and they said it was the next day after I ordered it. ha ha ha. That would be remarkable. ;) Again, There was no tracking number associated with said "shipping." And if it had shipped, why would they reissue the order and say it was lost in the warehouse?
I ordered $291 worth of products on 11/14/19 and it is now 12/5/19 and no indication of shipping any time soon.
Do not buy from this company. Total scam and employee actually tell lies to you. LOL!
glytone acne clearing cleanser
I've been using Glytone for approximately six years. My best friends complemented my complexion. However, recently there's been a change. they changed the ingredients and it does NOT clean as well as it did before. it doesn't even foam up! when I use the toner after cleansing my face, the cotton ball is full of dirt. I have been experiencing frequent breakouts, and I am 55 years old! This did not happen with the old formula. I'm returning it.

I placed an order and realized a mistake minutes later. I called customer service and after ten minutes on hold, a recording suggested I send an e-mail and they would respond shortly. Never received a response, but they charged PayPal immediately for $411.
It's very disheartening that they ignored my e-mails and to this day they have not contacted me, nor have I received the order. These products are very expensive, so Customer Service and trust is a distinguishing factor where I (customers) will shop in the future.
They do have a nice web-site, but you can find lots of those in Nigeria.
Surprisingly, according to Dermstore's website the Parent Company is Target!

I returned 2 items that totaled $190 and was only sent a credit for $90. I spoke to several people at the company regarding this issue and they keep saying that it will be corrected, but has not been corrected after 1 month. I've never had something like this occur with any company in the past where a full refund is not provided. I called for the past several days and nobody is picking up the phone at this company. Go to Sephora or Ulta and you will not have to deal with this nonsense.

So many things this company has to fix before selling their products. Well, first of all, I am very disappointed in how your website operates. I put some items in the cart, but the cart itself doesn't show anything.
Ok, for some reason this problem was gone and I finally ordered what I wanted. On the next day I got an email from the DermStore thinking it was a confirmation email or something similar. But no, they notified me that the ordered items are out of stock. I checked everything again and didn't get one thing: the same items were still on the website and it said they were in stock. Ok, it might be one more error.
But I was charged for nothing then. How this can be explained? Of course, I called them and asked for a refund. And was said that they only thing they can offer is to give me a store credit. No, why the hell do I need your credits when I want my money?
Absolutely useless place. Run away, save your money.
I had so many issues with Dermstore!
I wish I saw all these reviews earlier! I had so many issues with these guys, and they gave me nothing but trouble, Dermstore is the worst online store ever!
Bought some items from them and did not receive a tracking number. I asked so many times for my tracking number and every time they said "sure, of course" but never actually gave it to me.
Then they charged me twice and I had to argue with them about my money. In the end I simply cancelled my order and when I received a refund I was so mad because they gave only half back! I had to contact them again and they claimed that I have already received my money and then I had to explain that they charged me twice and I want ALL of my money back. Their rep said they need time to resolve that and silence. This store is horrible, nasty, lazy and unprofessional, don't buy from them!

I am absolutely disgusted with Dermstore and their terrible service! Delivery was taking way to long and when I contacted them and asked were my order was they said that it was cancelled because nothing was in stock!
But when I made my order everything was in stock, at least that was what their site said. I sent a message where I asked for a refund and for a compensation and they replied that they need time to take a closer look at my case. Two weeks later I contacted them again and they were rude and clearly showed that they had absolutely zero interest in helping me! These people are the worst, don't order from their store!
Shipping
I bought some products from DermStore and they promised me fast shipping. According to what they said I was supposed to get my order within 1-2 weeks, but delivery took longer than that. In reality it took them over a month to deliver my order. I did not like their customer service, because they were highly unprofessional and were not able to explain why was it taking so long. They also were not able to tell the exact delivery date.
DermStore support was absolutely useless and unhelpful and I can say that I received the poorest quality service.
Payment and checkout process
I just placed an order through dermstore.com after receiving a promo code. They're one of the few online retailers that carry EltaMD products of which I LOVE!
As soon as I placed my order I was bombarded with an invasive popup asking me to add Klorane Dry shampoo to my cart for a special price, I clicked on add to cart thinking it would be added to my cart for a future order since I've already placed my current order. I just received my receipt on my email and was surprised to see that they billed me for this dry shampoo on my current order.
I believe this invasive and confusing upselling technique a very short-sighted that will not work in the long run and will have an inverse effect on return customers.
I thought dermstore was a legitimate website. This will be my last order from dermstore. Very disappointed.
I want to cancel my order
Hello. I made a purchased and bought some beauty products from Dermstore. The same day I contacted Dermstore and asked them to cancel my order. Customer service did not reply and I did not receive any confirmations so I have no idea what is going on. I want to know did they read my message and was my order cancelled or not. I am pretty nervous after reading all these reviews and I'm afraid to think I might lost my money.
Please Dermstore, if possible, contact me as soon as possible. I want to know what is the status of my order.
Lesson learned
I received the worst customer service here! When I contacted DermStore and asked about my order status their rep replied very rudely and refused to provide any information regarding my order status! They said they were too busy and did not have time to answer my questions.
Shipping took forever and I wasn't expecting to get anything. When my order finally arrived I was very disappointed because I received an incorrect product. Lesson learned.
Unprofessional!
I wish I had read the reviews before I made my order, I do regret that I decided to try DermStore! Ordered some products from this website and for quite a long time there was no news about my order and took a lot longer to deliver it than they promised. So I emailed DermStore customer service but there was no reply, then I decided to try and called them and felt lucky when someone picked up! I tried to explain the situation but their rep did not want to listen to me and gave me a hard time. When I tried to calm him down he just disconnected! Terrible!
Bad customer service ever in my life!
Was my second purchased. (First time was fine because no need to contact them). I contacted them because received an email said my order not yet completed, so it's reasonable to call them find out the order status, right?! because my card has been charged. Their representative named BRANDY, she had an bad attitude and hard time to answer you things. They made you feel like begging them something! She is UNPROFESSIONAL, IMPOLITE representatives ever spoke with. I am not sure if DERMSTORE is paying them a minimum wages. Since I can see there's thousand bad reviews all regarding their poor customer services. I should read and search before buying from them!
They stole my money
I wish I had read the reviews first! Anyways, I have ordered a cream from DermStore and when I tried it I had an immediate reaction to it! My face was itching and some red spots appeared! I contacted customer service and asked for a refund. They agreed and told that first I have to send back the product. I even paid some extra money to ship it back. They received it and said that I'll be getting my refund in a week. Three weeks already passed and still no money and now they even do not reply to my messages! Avoid this scam at all costs!
Very bad experience
I purchased the BeautyFix box from DermStore. I actually liked the box but I won't be purchasing anything from these guys again. The reason is because I received a product from a brand that used to be at Sephora. The item I received had the label of Sephora, and the only thing I hate the most is Sephora. This product was expired and unusable. I contacted the company and asked for a replacement. When I received it, it was also expired! Completely unprofessional.

I was put on an automatic order status without my permission and now I have to pay the return shipping to get my money back!!!
I purchased a product(Paul and Joe protective foundation primer UV with Sign up and get 20% off coupon, ) and Dermstore added an additional product(Beauty Fix) as a 'promotion' and charged my credit card for it without permission. The order confirmation I received initially indicated only the charge for the product I actually ordered($27.52), but the store charged me $60.74(32 for the Primer I ordered, Discount amount goes away when checkout completed! $24.95 for the beauty fix I DID NOT order, and I have to pay the return shipping to get my money back! I will never buy another product from Dermstore again!
Fraudulent company
I bought a beauty product through dermstore site and after almost one month I received a SMS notification stating a purchase through dermstore also! I was surprisingly shocked and thought my card was hacked or stolen. I tried to contact the site but this was not functional as they don't have an e mail in the contact page and there were not any agents all time in the live chat page. Finally I contacted them through the e mail they sent me when I made the first purchase to cancel the purchase and refund me. Almost after two days they replied late and stated that I set up an automatic refill and will not cancel the order and they will ship it soon. I don't recall such an automatic refill when I first made my purchase.
This is a fraudulent company and I'm surprise how such companies operates in US.

Stay away from this website
I ordered a skin cleanser from this site in the 6 oz size, when I received my package it contained a 2oz sample size of the product (I had paid for the full size) along with a skin moisturizer that I did not order but assumed was a sample owing to its small size (more on this later). I called customer service, and I did get speak to a live and easy-to-understand person pretty quickly, so kudos for that. The representative said that she would send me the full size product. So . . . cut to a week later and my package arrives from the DermStore. I opened it, and AGAIN they sent me the 2oz size of the product. I didn't call them that day, I was too annoyed. I ended up not calling them at all because the next day I tried the skin moisturizer accidently sent to me and I really liked it, so I looked up the product online. Come to find out that the product was actually full sized and pretty pricey, more than what I paid for for the cleanser. So I decided to let it go and just never order from them again, all's well that ends well, amiright? No, I am not. Because today I get home from work and check my mailbox (snailmail) and there is a copy of More magazine in the box addressed to me. I was like wth? Called More magazine and spoke to a very nice person who explained that I received my subscription "free" with my dermstore purchase. I told her to cancel it. Whenever I order ANYTHING online I always opt out of all "free" offers, so I have no idea how this happened, but it really pissed me off first of all because I did not order the mag, second because you KNOW that turns into a paid subscription after a certain peroid of time and third (and this is my own vanity, I know) I am in my TWENTIES! The end.
I'm tired of Derm Store flooding my mail box
I used to use them until they started sending me duplicate marketing emails almost everyday. I replied to each and everyone of them explaining that they are sending 2 emails to the exact address, 3 minutes apart, but still they come. It's frustrating that you use a site in good faith but then they bombard you with marketing but have poor administration. Could you imagine CVS or Ulta locking you in their store so that they could explain what's on sale and then you have to shovel their flyers to get out of the store. I'm tired of Derm Store flooding my mail box.
Do not, I repeat, do not place an order with dermstore
I had my order held for some frivolous reason they couldnt explain to me sufficiently, after I called them to find out what was going on with my order (a week later) they said they would release the hold but I was so pissed off I had started searching for my products elsewhere. I found them for almost half the price on amazon so i called dermstore back immediately - literally within five minutes of making my inital call - so that I could cancel the order and they REFUSED! Claiming the items had already been processed for shipping? WHAT? So I am now lumped with these goods that are double the price when compared elsewhere and I have to wait twice as long to receive them.
Ridiculous! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Customer service is terrible.
