-On February 26th I purchased 7 items from women's section, I was rang up in teen section of Dillard's.
-When I got home I realized that the Black mini skirt I purchased was not in my bag.
-I contacted Dillard's on 02.26.24 @ 6:39 pm. I was told to bring receipts and items up to service.
- The very next Saturday 03.02.24 I came into to service with bag/receipts/and items that were in that bag.
-I spoke with Manager Abril in great length about missing skirt and even went over to section where I purchased the skirt. Abril said that they would pull the cameras and get back with me. So I gave her my name and phone number.
-After 2 weeks and not hearing back from Abril I contacted the store on 03.14.24 @ 11:34 am at which they told me the Manager was not available and they took a message for the Manger to call me back.
-Still no call back from Manager. So, on March 23rd almost a month after I purchased item that was not placed in my bag I went up to Dillard's to see if they had pulled the video tapes and I could be refunded or get the skirt that was missing.
-Abril told me that they could not really tell if the cashier put item in my bag because of the angle of the camera. I was not satisfied with this answer and asked to speak with Store Manager.
-I then spoke with Kathy Marx store Manager who was very rude and told me in a gaslighting way that maybe somehow I was lying about what I purchased even though I had my receipts and they had the video. I expressed to Kathy what did she see on the tapes, knowing that she never looked at the video. She said that they didn't see that their cashier did anything and then she turned to Abril and asked if what she was saying was correct.
-Abril said to the manager that there were clothes all around the register and that they could not tell. Based off this Kathy says I can not refund an item that is not present. At that point I said I just want the item that I purchased.
-I told both of the Mangers that I will be writing a letter to the President of Dillard's and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Abril gave me a contact support number which is not very helpful for me because they are the "customer support contact".

Usually if I cannot find what I am looking for at Macys.com I am sure to find it at Dillards.com. I have gotten some really good deals from them from dresses to jackets. They are a very reputable company and sell designer quality items. I have never had a problem with any of the purchases from Dillards both in the store and online. This is a very good clothing store.
Beautiful dress
I ordered a dress for my son's wedding I just received it today it is absolutely beautiful. True to size I'm in amazement with how well made it is absolutely gorgeous I cried when I put it on so that just tells you how it made me feel I can't wait till the wedding to show it off thank you Dillard's for coming through I've shopped so many places to find a dress and nothing worked
Wonderful Shopping Experience
Today, I went to Dillard's in Wellington to buy a blouse and ended up buying a whole new wardrobe. Sue and Danielle, located in the downstairs women's department, were so lovely and welcoming. They spent hours pulling me together with pants, tops and dresses. There was no pressure to buy and we talked and laughed the whole time. I felt like I was in a small boutique with impeccable personalized attention.

Like TN said, they have great shoe sales. Having bought a pair of shoes from endless that fit well, I found another of the same style but in different colours on dillards and ordered them. They charge about $8 shipping but if you're sure of the style and fit, it's a good deal. I had to change the address after the order was processed and usually I've never been able to have a retailer successfully do that, but dillards was able to. Very impressed! Their customer service was also extremely helpful and timely.

05/02 Found a beautiful dress wrong size at the Brandon Mall Dillards?. Shanell Green the sales associate help me call the local Dillards in the area but not luck ? I really liked the dress and was desperate?. I called the [protected]@ Town Center in Jacksonville and a beautiful soul by the name of Madlin Aziz picked up! When I say she took very good care of me? that would be an understatement? Today 5/4. I received my beautiful dress in time for the Wedding this Friday 5/6! Stacy's excellent customer service
I just wanted to give a shout out to Stacy at the Dillards at the Town Center. She more than assisted me in the make-up area. Dillards is one of the few department stores that carry my make up brand Dermablend. I wasn't able to find my shade at the Dillards at the Avenues nor were they very helpful in assisting me at finding a shade that matched my skin. So we made the trip to the Town Center and were pleasantly served by Stacy. Her can do attitude and sweet nature made all the difference in my shopping experience. Thank you once again Stacy for your excellent customer service!
Lifehack for men
My wife is obssesed with shopping, I guess lots of men around the world can understand my pain. Anyway, I always support her new dresses, shirts and skirts. However, sometimes she wears awful clothes which I don't like but I can't directly tell it to her. So, I have decided to try another option. I ordered here new clothes by my own in order to present it to her, assuring her that she's wearing nice dresses because they're gifted by me, from the bottom of my heart. This service is pretty awesome, there is a big assortment here and I want to recommend all the men such a lifehack.

A few years ago my husband needed a couple of suits for his new job. We decided to try Dillard's, we went straight to the men's department and proceeded to check out the suits. My husband tried a couple of jackets to get the feel of them but thought it would be best to try the full suit on.
We needed help, so I went and found an associate and asked them for help, they said they would be right over. Well 20 mins past and he didn't come over to where we were standing. So I went to look for him and he was helping another couple.
He motioned he'd be right there, again we waited so I once again went to find him or someone else. He was talking to another associate. He looked up and carried on his conversation. So my husband and I left very angry and very dissatisfied.
Today, we decided to give Dillard's another chance, we went in to the suit department as we were looking for a suit, shoes and shirt for our daughter's wedding next month.
We looked for someone to assist us but he was busy with someone else, only this time he said he would be right with us.
So we waited close by this time, surely we wouldn't have the same experience as the last time. The next thing we saw he was dealing with another customer who had just walked up to the counter, so being rather patient people we decided to check out some suits for ourselves as we waited for him.
So as my husband is trying on jacket after jacket, I noticed a young man standing by the counter all alone no one near him he want busy with a sale he was just stood there.
He looked over watching me and my husband as if we were going to take something, he never came over to offer us help and the other associate was now dealing with yet another customer who had just walked in to the area. That's it we are done with Dillard's, you have disappointed us for the last time.
On the other hand we went to Macy's and were treated very well and unfortunately my husband didn't get his suit but he did get a very nice experience and a shirt.
Maybe Dillard's needs to do a bit of mystery shopping in your own store. Especially the one in Newport news VA.
Louis vuitton purse
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with a recent purchase I made through Dillard's, which is a product from your esteemed company, What Goes Around Come Around, Louis Vuitton.
As a single mother with a child with autism, I have limited financial resources. However, I was determined to fulfill a long-standing desire to own a Louis Vuitton purse. To make this possible, I opened a credit card and committed to making monthly payments.
Regrettably, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when, after only two weeks of use, the handles of the purse started breaking, with the thread unable to stay held together. In response, I promptly returned the purse to Dillard's, and they sent it to your company for repair. After waiting patiently for a few months, I finally received the repaired purse.
To my dismay, the same issue reoccurred just a few weeks after receiving the purse. I had hoped that a Louis Vuitton purse would be of higher quality and durability, allowing me to use it for an extended period. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, and it has left me feeling disheartened.
Considering the significant investment I made and the trust I placed in your brand and the Dillard's website, I am kindly requesting a return of the product. I was given a $15 gift card for being a good customer with my Dillards card and Dillards store.
I used it on an online purchase but the item was of such poor quality that I returned it.
Dillard's refuses to restore my gift card, saying once it's used, it cannot be reissued. Any other form of payment, including a gift card purchased by anyone, would have the balance returned. Otherwise, Dillard's profits by keeping the funds extended to them and not giving it back. That is not fair.

Each time I purchased the dress, the website accepted my purchase. I received an email within an hour saying that the purchase has been confirmed. The purchase hit my credit card no problem, However, within 8-10 hours, I received an email stating that the purchase has been canceled by Dillards. Sofft shoes
I purchased a pair of Sofft Shoes at Dillards in Mesa AZ about a month ago to wear on an upcoming trip.
I couldn't wear them becuase the velcro on the left shoe was attaching properly. Once I took a step forward the stap would release.
Today I took the shoes back to the same location I purchased them. The sales woman called for the manager to see the shoes. His response was that "ya the attachment needed to be replaced..." He was unwilling to take the shoes back and give me store credit. He said I should take them to a shoe repair about 2 miles from the mall since his wife uses the shop and is happy with the repairs/price.
Needless to say I found his response/suggestion less than professional. However I decided to go with it, rather that having a dispute that I would likly lose.
I went to the Gnome Shoe repair (6312 E Main St. Mesa AZ) and I was told that it could not be repaired without changingthe integrity/design of shoe.

After two months - Nancy, the manager of the shoe department, offered me to join the shoe department because there were 46 hours and extra commission.
I started working from there and started a few incidents with me that were grossly unfair to me. Ms. Nancy always likes to deal with my tasks in the stock room all day and prefers some of her preferable people (Spanish speaking people) to get more commissions.
Chemical allergies affect my skin throughout the day so I told Tatiana that I was afraid that her constant unfairness, biased behavior and personal attacks would lead to an unfair termination because I really appreciate and am passionate about my work..
Tatiana, the store manager, said it wouldn't happen to me and I would only work in the stock room for an hour, so I started working again.
In Tatiana's absence she increased my stock room work crazily again and said she didn't care about my sales if I wanted to work the stock room would have to work more.She made false statements to the SPE admin manager .I said about my allergy problem and the SPE gave me 2 option -one is dock work or 2 weeks resign. I resigned because I don't have option
When Miss Rima heard she said I fought with SPE you worked with me.
Two weeks before the deadline, MS Time called me and told me to quit or go to the dock. Last day he forced me and continuously misbehaved/rude me.

At that time Miss Rima heard from me and fired me on the spot . I said Tatiana is on vacation she said no body will terminate you. Miss Rima, Nancy and SPE play with me SPE said I'm doing this because I don't want you to ever work at Dillerds.
if they accept my resign letter before 2 weeks right now i am not terminated or jobless suddenly was fully injustice with me. I disagree about their all false statement.
I just wanted to say Diilerds Manager is Rude,cruel,mean ,Employee don't want to leave Dillard's but they do it forcedly. They harassment to employee and also do body slamming and eaten up job is their policy because they think they will stay long time in here to making of their rude kingdom.
Dillers pay well but not only workers can stay here only they have game of manipulation.

Very poor customer service by store manager
On September 6, 2023 at 7:15 I was looking for a pink colored shirt like the camel one I purchased the day before, Ralph Lauren point collar long roll-tab sleeve button down linen shirt SKU 8456202 in the 65% off rack. I called over sales associate for that area. I told her I had purchased that shirt the day before and I believed I was charged in correctly. She said ok let me check as she was checking and went to get the other shirts off the rack she stopped the manager and told her the shirts or on the 65% off rack but when she scanned them they only came out at 40% off. The manager checked and then told me that the shirts were marked correctly at 40% and that people put shirts in the wrong places. I said I could understand it if it was only one shirt but there was several shirts including a white one, a green, one, a pink one and other identical shirts like the camo color, I was trying to purchase. She looked at me and the sales associate that said they on the 65% rack said they’re only 40% off. Very upset and returned two dresses and three pants that I purchased for $419.80. She stated they could’ve been miss placed in the wrong location, I told her I did not see any 40% racks in any of the area that I was looking. Location Park Place Mall Tucson Arizona, manager did not have a name tag on, and the sales associate’s name was conscience or constant. Dillards sent us a prior used/tried on dress as it had a stain on the bottom. We could not even try on the dress at it was too big/long. We returned the dress without even knowing there was an issue and they sent it back saying if we cleaned it we could return. Dry cleaners said could not clean without removing tags and security device. Dillards would not send us confirmation that we could remove the tags for cleaning. Really? Dillard's Disappointing Customer Service and Non-Returnable Policy
I recently had an experience with Dillard's that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I purchased a dress from their clearance section, and it was clearly marked as non-returnable. I understood this policy, but unfortunately, when I received the dress, it was too tight due to the material. I immediately called Dillard's to see if there was any way I could exchange the dress for a larger size, as I wasn't asking for a refund. I explained my situation and even cried on the phone, as I couldn't afford to have a $70 dress sitting in my closet that I couldn't wear.
Unfortunately, the customer service representative who answered the phone, Angie, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She hung up on me, which only added to my frustration. As a manager, I would expect Christina C. to be more helpful and understanding, but she simply repeated the policy to me without listening to my concerns or offering any solutions.
One of the biggest issues I have with Dillard's is their lack of fitting rooms due to COVID-19. When you purchase clothing online, you're essentially taking a gamble on whether or not it will fit properly. If it doesn't, you're stuck with it. This is a frustrating and expensive experience, and it's one that could be easily remedied if Dillard's had more options for trying on clothing.
Overall, I think Dillard's needs to improve their customer service training. It's clear that their employees don't care about satisfying their customers, and this is a huge problem. As a consumer, I want to feel valued and heard, and unfortunately, my experience with Dillard's left me feeling the opposite. I hope that they take steps to improve their policies and procedures so that future customers don't have to go through what I did.
Dillard's Online Shopping: Terrible Return Policy and Customer Service
I gotta say, I bought 4 tops from Dillard's website on August 3rd and they said they'd get to me by August 10th. I had them sent to my PA address for my reunion. But guess what? Two of the shirts didn't show up until the afternoon of the 12th. I figured if I called Dillard's, they'd help me out by forwarding the package or giving me a return shipping label. But nope, they wanted me to pay $9.99 and even argued with me about how many business days they had (5, but I didn't get the package until the 6th day). I wasted a whole 20 minutes talking to Marisa and the manager Elsa. Let me tell you, the customer is NOT always right at Dillard's. They didn't care that this was my first time shopping with them online, and now it's my last time shopping with them in-store or online. All because of $9.99. I had to pay $9 to print a label on my parents' printer so I could return the shirts to a VA store with the rest of my order. I liked 2 of the shirts, but I'm not supporting a business like this.
I mean, you can try shopping at Dillard's online if you want, but why bother in 2021 with such a terrible return policy and attitude towards customers? You can shop anywhere and get a free prepaid return label now if you don't like something. Macy's (Dillard's competitor) and Amazon both do it. It's not like it's 1999 anymore.
I'm done with Dillard's for good. They lost a customer for life.
Disappointing Experience with Dillard's Website and Customer Service
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience shopping on Dillard's website. I thought I did everything right - I followed the size chart when I ordered a blouse, but when it arrived, it was way too big. Like, I could have camped out in there. So I tried to return it, but that's when things really went downhill.
First of all, they sent me the wrong invoice. It was for someone in Canada who ordered a dress, and it had a totally different invoice number. So when I tried to use the website to get a return approval, it was a no-go. I tried calling customer service, but I couldn't get through to anyone. I mean, I called a bunch of times, and every time I tried the call-back option, the system just hung up on me. So I sent an email, but it took forever to get a response. And when I did, they kept sending me return information for the person in Canada and saying I was using the wrong email address. I mean, come on, guys, I know my own email address.
Eventually, I got through to them and explained the situation. But they told me they didn't have a customer by my name, which was just ridiculous. I mean, I had the invoice right there in front of me. So I tried to get a refund through PayPal, but they said it had been over 30 days since I ordered the blouse, so I couldn't return it. Which, okay, fair enough, but it wasn't my fault that I couldn't return it in a timely manner because of their mistake.
Long story short, I'm stuck with a blouse that's way too big for me and cost me $75. And honestly, the worst part of it all was the customer service. I mean, I've never experienced anything like it. It was just a mess from start to finish. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend shopping on Dillard's website if you can avoid it.
I received an empty box, read, customer service, no refund. Denied claim.
I ordered a formal gown for my son’s wedding online from Dillards. The box I received was empty, crushed and gaping open and EMPTY! A rectangular box that was taped down the long side, but folded in cardboard and NO tape on the short ends. I called to file a claim, which was immediately denied because of the weight of the box AT THE TIME OF SHIPPING! That, and the fact that the empty box was delivered, according to Dillard’s, means they’ve “done their part“. They refuse to take up the issue with Federal Express and I have no recourse according to Federal Express other than to go to the shipper, which is Dillards! So I’ve been delivered an empty box and been so vilely treated by their customer service department, including two supervisors, Jasmine and Elsa. I’m a 64-year-old woman, never had to file a complaint before, yet they treated me like I was lying and a habitual criminal. I can honestly say that I now loathe and despise this company. I’ve supported them for so long, and I feel betrayed. I will never ever use them again and will spend the rest of my life trying to tell as many people as I possibly can what a horrible company this is. The empty box was delivered on June 3 and complaint filed that day. Claim denied on Sunday and I’ve spoken to customer service reps both yesterday and today with no satisfaction. So I have paid for an empty box. Thanks to Dillards lousy customer service, and equally lousy shipping department. My advice to one and all, do not order anything online from this abysmal company. As for myself, I will never set foot in one of their department stores again.
