My name is Martin Newton and on 27th March 2025 I posted a parcel at the post office 105 church walk, Burgess Hill, Sussex. The service they used was DPD and the address the parcel was sent to was.
Anees Keys
Shop 03 Greece Cluster
Building L01
International City
Al Warsan
Dubai U.A.E
I was charged £44.27 for this service.
Today the parcel was returned to me at my home address, Southdown House, Burgess Hill, RH15 9PP.
I have attached pictures of the returned parcel.
I went to the Post Office where I sent the parcel and they said that they did not know why the parcel had been returned, but it seemed to be an error by DPD. The said that I would have to claim on line via DPD.
I have tried telephoning DPD and all I get is an automated voice answer which is useless.
I have tried the online chat which is also useless.
I am unable to make a claim from the DPD UK website, There is no facility to do so.
I have now resent the parcel with Royal Mail.
I have no idea why the parcel was returned to me and not delivered to the intended recipient, it seems to be a huge error on the part of DPD.
I would like to be refunded the costs, £44.27 incurred by me for DPD not delivering my parcel.
Claimed loss: £44.27
Desired outcome: Refund
