The delivery experience with DPD has been extremely disappointing. The parcel was intended for 47 Brairs Wood, Hatfield AL10 8DH, but the driver's lack of judgment and foolishness led him to deliver to the letterbox of 45 Brairs Wood AL10 8DH without verifying the address. Instead of attempting a proper delivery, he left a collection card at my residence next door, which could have been avoided had he taken the time to check. Upon discovering the mistake, I reached out to the tenants of 45 Brairs Wood, only to find out from neighbors that the house has been vacant for a long time. Consequently, I am left without my device and have been borrowing from friends, who also require their devices. To make matters worse, the landlord of 45 Brairs Wood has taken possession of the parcel, stating they would return it to DPD for redelivery, which has only added to the delays. I request that you arrange for the parcel to be collected from them and delivered to my address at 47 Brairs Wood, AL10 8DH.

I strongly urge that appropriate measures be taken against the driver responsible for this delivery mistake to prevent similar issues in the future. Furthermore, the individual who collected the parcel should be directed to return it correctly, as their actions have caused significant inconvenience. I also seek compensation for the trouble this situation has caused; otherwise, I may feel compelled to share my experience on social media, warning friends and family against using DPD in the future. It is crucial that parcels are delivered to the correct address initially, rather than mistakenly to a neighboring property. While the community is generally cooperative, this incident has led to unnecessary discomfort and frustration that could have been avoided with basic attention to detail. It is vital for all parties involved to recognize the importance of respecting others' parcels and the consequences of their actions.

Desired outcome: I request compensation of at least £200, as I was unable to attend work for four days while waiting for the driver to resolve these issues.
