I want to make a complaint to the CEO. How dare he censor anything. despicable, I am telling everyone I know to ditch this outfit.

if you censor, you are probably selling info on each person as well... good grief, just another anti-American sell out, no patriotism, no common sense and sure wonder how much the ceo was paid to start censoring?

I am terribly disappointed in your company's decision to control search information by altering your algorithm to begin down ranking sources that promote Russian "misinformation." We don't need your "protection". We can make our own informed decisions about the validity of the information a search produces. This is nothing more than DDG putting it's finger on the scale of their search results. This calls into question your whole operation. With this type of Big Brother control, it especially casts doubt on your claims of privacy for users. If I wanted a search engine with this type of limitation, I would have stayed with google. Go woke... go broke.

You stand accused of censorship of the free internet. Your search engine will lose everyone that it has advertised to gain over the past 8 years if you do no publically apologize, and cease this new policy immediately. Fall on your sword, and free the internet. provide good neutral search capabilities and do not bow to anyone.

Censorship LEADS to misinformation when one group decides what is "information". In this case, Russia is doing the bidding of freedom in the world as they are fighting against the implementation of the great reset and the new world order.

You, as a corporation are betraying your original mission goal and literally are now, no better than google in my opinion for doing this.

People are adults and can process information without your help in deciding "which information they get to see". Again, this makes you no better than google and if I DON"T find that you have stopped this action, I will be deleting your service from my browser.

We chose your company because you promised not only our privacy but no censorship. Today you let us down. While I have loved DuckDuckGo to 5 minutes ago, I would urge them to tell the CIA or whoever has pressured them to edit free speech. Just give us the information, and let US decide with all the information we can gather decide our outcomes. We have already seen every Mainstream media mouthpiece tell us about what they want us to see happening in Ukraine, and we have seen very little about the Head of the CIA absolutely verify the US has 26 illegal biolabs in Ukraine doing EXACTLY what Russia has stated. Duckduck's "down ranking" of "Russian disinformation" is a really bad move.

I can go to google for that kind of crap.

I just found out you guys are being loyal to your word and what you advertised when starting up. You shouldn't be sensoring or adjusting what you think is best for people to see or adjusting your search engine to do so. I read the press release / comments from the CEO in regards to down ranking. There is no down ranking in the 1st amendment. Over last 3 years, I (small business owner) have installed duck duck go in home, office (3 computers), and 4 phones in total to escape Google.

If there is not a reversal in the next several business days - I will go back to google for simple reason that their engine runs smoother ...something I put up with because of your "privacy and marketing as anti-google" If your going to manipulate search results - what's the point?

I understand that you are now going to start downgrading contributors in your searches based on political opinions you don't agree with, otherwise referred to as false news or disinformation. You have no right to dictate what I should and should not have access to. That's my decision it's up to me to discern the truth. The reason I stopped using Google and YouTube is because of that kind of political coercion and now you have lost my patronage as well.
