two arrangments delivered
Ordered an arrangment, never received confirmation/tracking number so ordered another one next morning, thinking I never clicked "process". Same delivery guy delivered two arrangments. I thought I gave my phone numbers and e-mail so they could get in touch with me! No phone call, just $220 less money in my pocket.

no refund of delivery fee
Even though they failed to make delivery, or attempt to leave with anyone else in the apartment complex, I was charged a delivery fee. The receipient had to go pick up the delivery, yet I received no refund. They absolutely refuse to work with anyone on complaints.
Your delivery fee is for a one-time delivery attempt. if no one is home. the delivery driver isnt going to knock on every door asking neighbors to hold on to your arrangement! do you expect the driver to go back several times to try and deliver your basket for 12.00? if they did that they would be at it all day!

They still went out to your building. Did you leave special instructions for apartment delivery?
did not deliver what was ordered
My daughter ordered $147 arrangement which consisted of $15 for additional fruit. What I got was no where near what was pictured, and additional fruit was not there. What I got might be $20 worth of fruit and unedible greenery. We have sent emails and so far no responce.
In my email, as well as posting on their website, I asked them to refund my daughters money, or I would contact consumer affairs and nine on your side, in tucson, arizona, to file a complaint for fraud or bait and switch. I not only have photo of what it should look like, but what was delivered.

freshness
I ordered an arrangement for my wife for mothers' day. The gift was delivered about 9:30am that day and was left sitting in the dining room until my wife came downstairs about an hour later. It looked absolutely great and she really liked it. The arrangement stayed out on the table for the remainder of that day and was actually used as our dinner table centerpiece. After dinner the wrapping was opened at the top and our family had a few pieces of the fruit as dessert. Once dinner was ended, the basket was re-covered and remained on the table. About 9pm when we were preparing to settle in for the night, my wife and I removed all the fruit from the arrangement and placed the different types of fruit into individual storage containers and put them into the refrigerator. They were kept refrigerated the entire time until maybe 7 or 7:30 pm the next day and when we decided to enjoy more of the fruit as our evening tv snack the honeydew and cantaloupe melon pieces had a strangely tart taste as compared to being very sweet just hours before. The strawberries had begun to soften and turn also. Fortunately we were still able to eat the grapes and pineapple pieces that remained. Needless to say, we had to throw out the melons and strawberries. For the cost of this arrangement the bad far outweighed the good. Approximately 1/2 of the so-called "fresh" fruit was inedible.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
True Chevypride. if you leave fruit out for 12 hours, and then try to refrigerate it, it will go bad...fresh fruit is cold all the time at edible arrangements, and for the fruit to be moved from cold to maybe 30-40 degrees hotter for 12 hours? its gonna spoil. that is just common sense!
no kidding, just because its an edible arrangement and it looks pretty doesnt mean it can stay out at room tempurature like flowers, talk about bad food safety
no delivery
I made an online reservation for my mom for mother's day to be delivered the day after mother's day I called several times requesting a time. All they would tell me is that it will be delivered. At the end of the day no delivery occurred. When before I place my order online I chatted with a rep thru im. They told me that it would be a guarantee you can't...

I ordered an arrangement for a birthday for a special friend, who has terminal cancer. I ordered this a week in advance on-line. They never delivered the arrangement and when I called and emailed, these were not returned. I finally got a customer "service" rep the next day and she was completely unapologetic, and even lied that they had left me a message...

I ordered a $100 gift basket with the card written out ready to go. All I needed to do was put in my credit card information and the webpage backed out and my entire order was lost including the original fruit basket arrangement, balloon and birthday card. Prior experience and consumer complaints alerted me to their poor customer service but this experience made it clear that it's easier and better to provide business to competent, ethical businesses. Edible arrangements is a not worthy of a loyal customer base!

tasted freezer burnt
The fruit basket my husband ordered from this company included canalope and the honeydew mellon which were overripe in a few area's plus tasted like the fruit had been stored in a freezer for too long. I awoke this morning ready for valentine's day only to find that my stomach was upset. If I vomit, I plan to have the remaining fruit tested for possible food poisioning. My husband payed over one hundred dollars for fruit that tasted worst than store bought. I do not suggest purchasing honeydew or canalope creations from this company, otherwise the dipped pineapple and strawberries tasted okay.

no delivery, poor customer service
Im currently forward deployed to southwest asia in support of operation enduring freedom, so since I couldnt spend valentines day with my wife in the physical she hinted at an edible arrangement. I placed my order on 20 jan 2011 with a delivery date of 14 feb 2011 (V-day) , I placed it early for a reason, you know so it could get there on time. Now today (14 feb) its after her work hours and it still hasnt been delivered. I dont see how thats possible when the edible arrangements location is less than 2 miles from her job. I am thoroughly pissed off as they snatched the money out of my account with no problem but they cant at least honor my delivery time? Ive called the local office multiple times before their advertised closing time only to get a voicemail box that was full. I had to call a 1877 number just to leave a complaint. So I say again thanks for ruining my valentines day edible arrangements. Dont worry you wont get this chance again.
They service was horrible and it is a nightmare that I will never forget. My order was not delivered even thought I ordered it on line 2 days prior to the delivery date and my Valentine got nothing. Then to top it off when you attempt to call them the phones are busy or they place you on hold for 20 plus minutes. After finally speaking with someone they promise to call you back and don't. Then when you call back they lie to you and tell you that the manager has left. Once you explain that she told you that she would call you back before she left... wow, the manager finally appears back there. Then she does not want to compensate you for their mistake and also will not make a delivery the following day since she is fearful that the charge will be disputed with the credit card company. If they had done what I paid for then she would not have to worry about getting paid for her services
horrible customer service/work ethic
Email sent to headquarters
As a longtime customer of edible arrangements I am appalled and disappointed in the service my sister and I received from the rancho palos verdes location, store # 1164. My sister placed an order this morning between 10am-11am for our mother’s birthday and spoke with david. She confirmed with david that the order must be delivered by 3 (He promised between 2-3pm) and if he was not able to have it delivered by that time we would go a different route. David reassured her it would not be a problem and she went ahead with the order. By 5pm no order was delivered, no phone call was received. She called and I called and was told by david in a nonprofessional manner that & ldquo;today has been a crazy day. This whole week has been very crazy. & rdquo; and then proceeded to explain that per company policy an order can be delivered anytime between the hours of the physical stores business hours. Even as I repeat that to myself, it does not make sense. So if I place an order at 11am and was told it would be delivered between a certain times, it is a possibility it could be delivered at 7pm?
If that is true (I have never encountered this before) then david should not have promised otherwise. Associates make mistakes and if they apologize and find a way to rectify the problem then we could work something out. Instead he adamantly states he promised no such thing and they actually have until closing time to make a delivery. I called to speak with david who showed no concern or sympathy for ruining our surprise for our mother and he made me feel like this is an everyday occurrence. Was not helpful, did not apologize and actually made me feel worse! I asked to speak with the owner hashin who basically is insinuating that the order is in place and has been set to be delivered before store closing time. At this point my sister already cancelled the order. He offered to set another delivery and throw in a few & ldquo;extras” but I really feel it was insincere and my mother was no longer at home to receive a surprise.
I have to be honest because that’s the only way I know how to be. This email will not only be sent to your company but I will share my experience with others. My family and I order from your company no less than 3 times a month at different locations. This was our first and last time doing business with this location and maybe with this company. I understand that the franchise is independently owned but there should be a code of conduct, a standard to withhold, and make a way to make sure the franchisee trains all associates in providing great customer service. As a franchisee myself for a different franchise I know we have to maintain the integrity of our company and store #1164 is lacking. I explained to hashin that I will be contacting corp and I am not satisfied with his locations service but even then he did not show any concern. My contact information is below and I look forward to hear from you.
I could only imagine how much misery you have caused hard working people in the past and i feel sorry for them. Everone always says that they are a "franchisee" or "owner" of some sort of business. Its just pathetic that this is what it has come to.
Lets play out the real scenario: You placed a same day order and expected it to be done asap, the person probably said "we will do our best." But you NEEDED IT NOW!, If it was my mothers birthday i wouldnt have been so lazy and wouldve had something planned. But because you did something last minute, and i didnt work out for you, you had to blame it on someone else. Karma is a ###, but Personally if this is how you conduct your business as a "Franchisee" then karma may come sooner than later. Im sure you have had lots of apalled customers in the past and more to come. Id like to keep going but i dont have alot of time, i have alot of PLANNING to do, to make sure that i dont have to blame someone else for my own mishaps.
Sincerely,
Karma Kraig
poor quality and overcharged
I ordered an arrangement for $53, which is larger than one for $40. The one sent was old fruit, unbalanced as more fruit was on one side and the other side was empty in comparison and it was the size of the one for $40. To top it off, they overcharged my visa. I contacted the business to site my concerns and received a nasty reply and was told to call my bank about the overcharge. No restitution was offered by the west new york, nj store and I will never shop there again

horrible product & worse customer service
I ordered a box of edible arrangements chocolate dipped strawberries and apples to be delivered for my mother's 90th birthday. The box arrived and, according to my mom, looked beautiful. She immediately tried one of the strawberries and she said it was inedible. The berries seemed like they had been frozen and turned into mush. She then tried an apple and it was the same, inedible mush. When I called customer service, the representative listened to my issue, looked up the order and immediately became defensive, saying "the fruit was delivered when you asked for it to be delivered. " I explained that I wasn't questioning when the delivery happened, but the fact that the fruit was inedible. There was no apology or acknowledgement that this was wrong, no offer to make it right. I paid $39 plus $15 for delivery, with tax a total of $57.24 for twelve pieces of inedible chocolate dipped fruit. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I expected the manager to get on the line and apologize profusely for their error. Instead of the supervisor, the rep came back on the line to say she could redeliver the gift or refund my credit card. I let her know I preferred a refund, then asked her why the supervisor didn't care to get on the phone to make this right for a repeat customer. She didn't know why, but said she would have someone call me back to process my refund. I had already spent about 15 minutes on the phone and asked if I could just speak to someone now who could take care of the refund. She then got her supervisor to take my call. He wasn't apologetic at all and I directly asked him why they didn't care to make things right, apologize, and offer a solution instead of being defensive and allowing a customer to go away angry. He said he understood what I was saying and did apologize in the end. I still don't have "warm fuzzy" feelings about edible arrangements and that could have been completely avoided if their customer service was handled properly.
I had the same problem with my orders. I order one of their arrangement and it looked great when we got but when we tried eating it; It's was anything but edible. The cantaloupe was slimy as if the arrangement was made with old fruit. The strawberries were mushy, the Grape had a odd taste and the Honeydew was hard and not ripe. The only thing in the basket that was good was the pineapple. I called and complained. The store manager at first wanted the basket back so he can replace it but I told him that we put it out for a party and everyone picked at it and threw out the fruit as they tasted it. There was nothing left to return. He then made a gesture as if I'm just trying to get a credit or something for free. This made me very angry so I told him that i will never use Edible Arrangements again. Edible arrangement manager told me that he will send me another basket for free. I told him that is fine even though My party was already over. Unfortunately, the new basket had the same problem. I didn't call them again to complain but I will never use them again.
delivered order late, did not contact customer back upon inquiry
I complained about my edible arrangements order on tuesday, september 21st because, my order was supposed to be same-day delivered to a person located at a business only about a mile from the edible arrangements office. I listed the delivery as a business, which operates between the hours of 9am and 5pm. I placed my order at noon, and, in the past, all...

Tried to surprise a friend on her birthday after reuniting 40 years later. The delivery never arrived. What a runaround I've gotten today - 1st I called the store and the guy said it was delivered yesterday - then he called me back and said he found that was an error and in a different place it says it was not delivered. He couldn't explain so he said his supv. would call me shortly - that he was only the production person and there was no one there to help me. A few hours laterI called the store again and was told the supervisor wasn't coming in for the day and he was still the only person there. I called the corporate edible arrangement # and logged a complaint with "Carmen" who was very helpful. We agreed that I should give the store a few hours to call me then I should call back to make a supervisory complaint. I waited till 8PM EST, spent 14 min speaking to a guy who couldn't find the order because he took the # down wrong #, and asked me the specifics all over again then found the order and delayed putting me on to his supv. "Jackie" who told me there was nothing that could be done as the store had 2-3 business days to respond to the original complaint. I told her there should be a fresh delivery (being that today is Fri corporate won't pick it up till maybe Wed and it would be stale) and I should get a full refund. All I heard was how their business works and can't so anything "franchise" excuses not how they would resolve the issue. $56 for 12 chocolate roses can be reimbursed - ruining the surprise and the happiness of my friend on her birthday - Priceless!

completely awful!!!
So I got my mother in law and my mom a very cool (And very expensive) edible arrangements. For those who don't know it's fruit cut, formed, and dipped in chocolate (Some)
And beautifully arranged in a vase or watering can or whatever. My mother in law calls and thanks me at 1;30pm. It's 5:00 now and other than this morning haven't heard a word from my mom?
So I give her a shout and she says nothing has come yet. Now i'm thinking if they haven't come by now (7:38) than there not coming... Right? Oh no, they told me over the phone that
They have until 9pm thats right you're reading this correctly 9pm, 9:00, nine o' clock? And they said if they don't don't show by then to call them and they'll try
To work something out-wtf hows about we work something out now? What mother wants anyone showing up on their doorstep at nine pm? Even if it was ed mcmann w / a check? (I'm sure she'd get over it quickly tho:)
I didn't bother to read about delivery times especially on sundays seeings that the store closes at 2pm? So I wasn't all that worried.
I'm pretty livid and I don't get mad ever! But they're messing w / mom on her day! Am I a bit of a mamas boy-sure, but what son really isn't?
My point of the rant is... If she receives this delivery at 9, in 3 hours mothers day will have ended. Even now I feel they kinda ruined her day! I felt bad because I had to work today
So last week I ordered a $139 worth of fruit. Now I feel even worse. I know it's not the end of the world and i'm being a bit dramatic but it's just bad business. Oh and I checked my order form online,
And in very very small print it does say "on busy holidays it could take up till nine pm" never again...
She gets it the next day on her door step left out over night no phone call to me or her nothing!
They also forgot the ballon bundle?! The fruit was't even ripe or sweet - horrible!
I left an email yesterday morning telling them about this and they have yet to get back to me... Unbelievable!

customer service
Thursday, may 6th, 2010, I ordered & paid for a mother's day arrangement. It came in a vase with red hearts & looked more valentines day than mom's day. I ordered the arrangement with a blue vase, & the clerk agreed, no problem, & no additional charge. Yep, when I went on sat. To pick it up it was in the "wrong vase". The same clerk was waiting on me ...

Do not buy this franchise!!! They are liars and manipulators! We currently have 35 stores closed down due to corporate continuing to take more money from us all. My boyfriend decided to surprise me with one of edible arrangements bouquets for valentine's day. He pre-ordered, and when he went to the store to pick it up, the customer service representatives could not find his order. After keeping him waiting for twenty minutes, they went into the back and the owner then accused him of already picking up his order and attempting to get another one for free. Despite having no proof to substantiate such an accusation and his insistence that he did not already pick it up, the owner of the store rudely insisted that he did. Disgusted, mauricio angrily told the owner that he wanted to cancel the order and was told that the order could not be canceled because it was already made, and a bouquet was practically thrown at him "just to get [him] out of [there] . "
This was the fourth or fifth bouquet that mauricio has bought for me, and we have been consistently delighted with the products. I have glowingly recommended the service to friends, family and coworkers. I sincerely regret doing so, as I would hate to think that anyone else may receive the same kind of treatment that my boyfriend did. Needless to say, they not only lost us as customers, but I will now tell every single person I associate with about our experience, and that my boyfriends integrity was questioned so he could be accused of trying to steal from the store and was treated appallingly.

I saw the ad for edible arrangements so thought I would try them out. I went to the web site, selected a product and hit "purchase". The site flashed and no order number or acknowledgement followed. I am an owner of Edible Arrangements of Longmont. Despite no error on the part of any employee of our store (it apparently was a computer glitch attributable to the corporate website), we decided to extend a full refund for her second order. She was asked to note this on this website, but has not done so. Therefore, we felt that we should inform the public that our business is dedicated to customer satisfaction.
