crystal lake store 1086
Horrible customer service, I place an order a week in advance, called 2 times to make sure all was okay, was promised it was out for delivery. It wasn't!!! It never got there and then they lied and said it was delivered on the online confirmation. Beware, don't trust them, I am still waiting for the promised return phone call from the owner. Plus they were extremely rude on the phone.

I took a temporary job over valentine's at this store to see if they followed the rules. I worked many hours, but got paid for 3 hours less. I was told by a current employee that this is standard practice by the new manager. Well let it be said, shaving time card's is illegal. I worked for a labor union, and this store has violated a rule by working people 55 and over for 14 hours to 15 hours with only a 10 minute break. (True they provided the food. ) they also had me climb into a semi to load and unload the arrangements. It was their job to teach temporary employees how to operate the lift. I climbed in for one day to see if this would be corrected. It was not until I put a stop to it the next day. I injured my knee, and my elbows feel like tennis elbows several days later. I was put in danger as I was ordered to do this job. I could have fallen. There were several other woman that had to climb in, and some even wore high heels. I observed it all. Woman working on food preparation with hair that should of been in a hair nets. The employees were real stressed, and took it out on the temps, but overall I was really surprised about the time card shaving. When a person works 10 and 15 min. That 15 min is to be counted not ignored. Well this is my complaint. I will report them, and they will learn not to violate safety rules and cheat employees. They messed with the wrong ex federal agent.
ruined anniversary
I paid over $107 to have 24 choc dipped strawberries delivered to my partner and specified that it had to be a morning delivery. September 21st.
He waited all day because I had to tell him that a surprise was on it's way, but no delivery. I called the store in down town l. A. And was given a two hour window for mid afternoon, their excuse was that they had ran out of boxes and could reach my cell phone. By 5pm nothing had arrived. I called again to be told that the product had not even been picked up and they needed to wait for refrigerated transport. Long story short. He received a phone call from them at 8pm they gave away the surprise and told him what the gift was. They didn't deliver until 8.45 pm by which time he had eaten wasted an entire sunday and the whole thing was ruined.
When I complained I was told that the store manager would call me within 48 hours. Nothing. I emailed their head office and was told the same story. I gave up after three more attempts to contact them. Horrible customer service poor execution and a memory ruined.

harrassment
Edible Arrangements delivered 4 fruit baskets to my home. Obviously the wrong address was put on it - I told the delivery man that he had the wrong address. When I looked at the names I said it wasn't mine. I knew one of the names said I would call the union about the delivery. Driver didn't want to wait. They were delivered at 1:10 pm. I leave for work at 1:45. At 7:30 at night this stranger came to my door - I spoke with him - quote: I want the baskets back - I'm the manager and am $300. out of pocket. Not my problem I told him. When I called the union they said I should keep the fruit baskets because of the Health issue. When the manager harassed me into giving the baskets back - I told him he can't re-sell them because of the HEALTH ISSUE - The fruit was sitting for 6 hours on my dining room table. He acted like HLTH ISSUE? I know he repacked them and tried to sell them today. He is an _________________________. Fill in the blanks yourself - He was also nasty! Do I ever want to do business with a place like this? Not even if HELL freeZes over. I never want to receive anything from you nor would I now ever, ever, buy anything from you - the public has been warned about this guy.---trying to sell spoiled fruit - BOYCOTT EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS I'm BOYCOTTING ALL OF THEM--I don't trust them and never will. He should not have asked for the fruit baskets back they made the delivery error - The union told them I am not responsible for getting them delivered to the right people - they were and they didn't even get the order right it was supposed to be 2 baskets not 4.

delivery
On oct. 7/13, I ordered an arrangement from edible arrangements at 100 commercial, leominster, ma to be delivered on ocr. 8th. The order was sent to the waltham store where apparently they had a "computer" glitch and no order was delivered, and I was not notified. When I finally tracked the order down, I was offered $5.00 the bill. By this time, it was oct.10th. $5.00 was an insult, at the very least, there should have been an apology!

deceptive business practices
I ordered an arrangement over the required $50.00 in order to participate in their promotion of a $29.99 gift. I entered the promotional code 1229, which was advertised at the top of their website and completed my order. I also entered my email address in order to receive a $10.00 gift certificate, **if** I allowed edible arrangements to send me emails.
Before ordering, I chose a franchise within 4 miles of my home and when the order went through, it showed a franchise 12 miles away. I called the franchisee to find out why the promotional gift did not show up on my order. They said they were not participating. I also asked why my order didn't go to the store i'd chosen on the website. They said they didn't know. I was shocked! I told them to cancel the order.
When I said there was no statement that only certain stores were participating, they told me there was a notice on the bottom of the website. I just reopened the website and there is no statement. I called the corp headquarters andall they could say was they were 'sorry'. Sorry isn't an acceptable answer to deceptive business practices! It's just another slap in the face to a customer!

Corp office told me they would send the gift certificate in **FOUR MONTHS**. On their website they said you could use the gift certificate on your **NEXT** purchase. MORE DECEPTION!
I'm sick and tired of being told 'sorry' for deception! It's time it was STOPPED! The word 'sorry' is yet another deception, because if it was truly sincere, they would do something about their FIRST deception!
Mahalo, Pua
I ordered a edible arrangement for my mother for Mothers day and she never recieved it, not only did they not deliver it but when I called back they said it would take 3 days to deliver. They ruined my mothers day!
Online shopping isn't for people like you.
bad and spoiled fruits
I ordered an edible arrangement for mother's day (May 12, 2013). When my mom received her arrangement said all the fruits were spoiled and were not good to eat. I spent $77.30 for this fruit edible so I believe I should of received fresh fruits instead of a crappy and spoiled fruits!

I called the site 4 times to ask about my order and I was told that the driver would be delivering my order before 7pm and yes when it arrived it was 7pm but when I saw it the presentation was horrible it looked like the strawberries had been sitting for over a month they were all discombobulated in the box I was so disappointed in this particular edible arrangement site

soggy fruit
Received chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered apples for valentine's day from my son and his girlfriend and the fruit was soggy and wasn't edible. So disappointed!

rude and unprofessional treatment
The most awful treatment ever. I was called racial slurs and hung up on after making several attempts to find out the status of my order. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that it was a franchise and everyone there was related and I would be told the same thing by whomever I spoke with. They threatened to cancel my order after I had my family member...

First, When I get to the Cashier, I was told (in a tone that sounded annoyed with the fact that they did not prepare my order) by one person that my order was received but told by Angela Diaz that it was not. So, I was told to go to the back of the line by Angela Diaz while the cashier continues to help others. I explained the situation to the Cashier, but Angela Diaz came over and I then showed her the printed invoice, at which point she accused me of changing my order, she implied that I was just trying to get a free Arrangement.
In addition to this allegation being false, it was also extremely inappropriate. I was so upset by the situation and shocked at her accusation that I waited in agony to receive my order (1.5 hours later from scheduled time).
I feel very disappointed with this interaction, as I usually enjoy my experiences at your Edible arrangements.

refused to issue refund after promise made, stalking issues by their managment
My sign required the number 2 since the previous sign in was already taken.
Edible arrangements run by crooks 2
Refused to issue refund when the flowers were never delivered. They still have my money and their product.
Refund was promised and then re-nigged.
Corporate behavior seems to mirror local behavior since they have been sued by 270 of their own franchises.

poor quality/missing items
It cost me $86 to send unripe fruit to my family in florida. Not even one chocolate covered strawberry. (Photo of item ordered showed 7) they say they will call within 48 hours and its been 4 days.. Not a call back. They do not back their product. They do not care. Once they have your money, the lack of quality of their fruit is basically tough crap.. And the fruit is tough crap. Photo of item ordered, below... Asked family to send photo of item recvd.
inedible fruit
Ordered an arrangement for my daughter's birthday party. While the strawberries were delicious, the rest of the fruit was hard and dry. The honeydew melon was white and you couldn't even bite into it. I called the company twice trying to speak with a manager and never heard back from them after leaving messages. Very disappointed in the quality of the fruit!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
In June 2015, I had the same experience. The grapes, strawberries and pineapple were fine, but the unripe cantaloupe and honeydew melons were hard and tasteless. Unfortunately, the melons made up a significant portion of the arrangement. It was not possible to leave feedback for the company on the website; the order number was not recognized. My less than 5 star review also did not post.
just want your money!!!
My & ldquo;sour experience” began on wednesday, may, 2, 2012 at 3:28pm when my daughter called me from her school bus saying, & ldquo;mom did you get me an edible arrangement for my birthday? I see the truck pulling up to our school” as her bus was pulling off the parking lot. Needless to say, I was beyond upset at the fact that my daughter’s milestone birthday was ruined by the laziness, inconsiderateness, insensibility of your staff, and the fact that & ldquo;you were not there when I needed you to be there”.
I went into the 5720 corporate blvd. Location (Store #1183) here in baton rouge, la on may 1, 2012 at 12:40pm and my order was taken by kendra. My order came to $70.84 which included a few extras just to make my baby girl’s birthday extra special. Needless to say, on may 2, 2012 at 3:29pm, my daughter’s surprise was ruined by the one company I thought I could trust to pull off this totally unexpected gift to her.
I called the store at 4:04pm and held on for seven minutes. I then called back and spoke to kendra at 4:12 pm who was not apologetic, concerned, nor was she going to acknowledge the fact that she and her fellow co-workers ruined my child’s day. Is that how you & ldquo;wow” all of your customers?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
If you needed a specific delivery time, you should not have waited until the day before to purchase. They have other customers too.
So you're upset because the delivery truck driver didn't know your daughter was going to be on the bus and parked the truck outside to deliver her present? The present that was going to be given to her a few minutes later? "Needless to say" I think you're being a bit unreasonable.
customer service
I would like to caution my fellow Clarksvillians against doing business with the local Edible Arrangements store.
I had ordered and arranged for the delivery of a small fruit vase to be delivered to a very good friend of mine for her
birthday on March 1, 2012. I was looking forward to hearing her reaction and began checking the website for status updates
very early. At 10 AM the status was labelled 'In transit'. At 4 PM it was still marked that way, so I called the store to
inquire. The employee I spoke with asked my name and the name of the recipient. I was told that the arrangement was indeed
still in transit, and that they had 18 deliveries that day. She told me that they do reisdentials last and businesses and
schools first. She also said that the usually try to have things delivered by 5, but that it could go later. I informed her
that my friend had dinner plans the evening and would not be home indefinitely. She asked agian if it was a busness address
and when I said no, she said she could call me when delivery was made. I declined.
At 5PM, I called my friend's husband to ask him to delay leaving for dinner as late as possible since a delivery should be
arriving soon. He agreed. At 5:45, I called back and he informed me that the Edible Arrangements store had called my friend
at 2PM that afternoon and informed her that they had a gift for her, but they were having trouble with the address. It
turns out, I had transposed 2 numbers on the address. She gave then the correct address and was told that she should
recieve her delivery in 'a couple of hours'.
When I called the store at 4pm, I was not told about any of the problems with the address, or that they had called my
friend. I was very upset about this, and I called the store back at 6. When I told the employee of my frustration she said
that I should have checked the option to mark the gift a 'surprise'. I never saw an option for that, but I thought the
birthday balloon would have been an indication. At this point, I told the employee that my friend had dinner plans and she
said she would call the driver and call me back.
My husband took the call and was told the delivery was still on the van. He told the lady that we no longer wanted this
delivery, that the recipient was not home and we would like a refund. She informed him she would have to call her manager
and call him back. When she called back, she said that the manager was, 'very pregnant and living in Woodlawn, and would
not be coming back to the store', but that she would call me back about a refund the next morning.
I was disapointed, but satisfied that I would get my money back.
The next morning when the supervisor called, rather than mention a refund, she seemed to know nothing of what happened and
I had to repeat my entire story to her. Her response was basically that The driver attempted delivery and wasted an hour
looking for the address and had to return to the store since there were so many other deliveries. I stated this didn't make
sense as only two numbers were backwards and the street is only 1/4 mile long. It would have taken 3 minutes to see the
address was wrong and a simple call to the recipient solved the issue. At 2pm they had the correct address and delivery
still had not occurred by 6pm. Additionally, I had made several calls to the store and this address issue was never
mentioned to me. The supervisor told me their policy was not to issue refunds. I asked to speak to someone else. I was told
the store owner from Hendersonville would call me.
I had almost the exact same conversation with someone from Hendersonville later. I don't know who that person was, since
she referenced the 'store owner refusing to give a refund in this case'. During that call, I was also told it was
'extremely unlikely that I was told by an employee told me that the manager was pregnant and living in Woodlawn',
essentially calling me a liar. She also accused me of using four letter words with the employee which never, ever happened.
The stories of the store also kept changing. We were told that the store usually calls Ft. Campbell addresses since they
don't appear on GPS, but later told that the driver 'wasted an hour or more' driving around looking for the address. Also,
we were told that the driver had a cell phone so it would not make sense for the driver to leave Ft. Campbell and go all
the way back to Wilma Rudolph, instead of calling the recipient personally while on the correct street of the delivery.
I was informed that the only thing the store is willing to do is redeliver the fruit. At this point, I would not eat
anything prepared by this company. After my experience, I googled the company and I found that customer service is a huge
issue and that many people have complaints.
The most frustrating part for me is that at no point during my conversations with anyone from this franchise was there ever
an attempt made to make this right. I would have willingly gone and picked up the arrangement if I had known that there
were problems. I even suggested that I only get a 50% refund since the address mistake was absolutely my fault. They
refused.
In short my experience was that I paid $50 to for a valuable lesson: always use a credit card when ordering these sorts of
services as you can immediately get your money back.
@molly - you clearly have nothing to do with your life other than troll internet sites making pointless snide comments. I transposed two numbers - that is something quite different than not knowing where a friend lives. It's called a typo. It happens frequently on the internet. Sort of like people not using proper capitalization and punctuation. You are a sad person. I hope you have an exciting Saturday night on these forums.
Additionally, they have essentially stolen my money since I paid for a service and gift that I never received and refuse to issue a refund.
I am complaining because of the utter lack of customer service by this store. I called them at 4 and was not told about the problem. I called them at 6 and was not told about the problem. When I asked for a refund I was told that it would be issued the following day - and then I got the complete run around and was called a liar among other things. Here is the deal - if you are a company that cares about your customers, you make it right with them. An example - one year I ordered a gift from Amazon for my husband. I had set up one click ordering very early on, and when we moved I never changed the address. Upon discovering that my gift had been sent to the wrong place, I called amazon and they immediately sent out another gift. Thus ensuring that they would retain a customer for life. I would have happily gone and picked up this gift if I HAD KNOWN there was an issue. Since I was IN TOUCH with the store, I would have expected them to mention it to me. I would not have expected to be met with a defensive 'this is all your fault' attitude - which sounds remarkably like yours.
refusal to deliver same day
i got online on 02/10/12 shortly before 4pm to order for my aunts birthday party which i had to miss. i was called back 45 minutes later by a lady named donna to tell me they woudn't be delivering on same day because it was too late in the day. i said i didnt understand becuase they were open til 7. she said there was nothing she could do it would be delivered tomorrow. i got online to send my feedback and she contacted me again. she said she didnt understand my problem she explained herself well and asked if i wanted to cancel the order. i said no i just wouldnt be using this company again. when i searched other delivery sites they had a posting letting me know that it too late in the day for orders but yours didnt. you should have something like that instead you had a timer that said i still had an hour to make an order today. so i thought the customer service was horrible and will never refer you or use you again. thanks for ruining my experience.

do not use this business
I ordered a $63. Chocolate strawberry arrangement on feb. 8, 2011 to be delivered to my husbands place of business on valentine's day. Lori talked to me about where the business was and assured me it would be no problem getting there before the end of the work day. At 3:30pm feb. 14th, I called to see why the order had not been delivered yet, the lady answering the phone assured me it was on the delivery truck and would be there before 5pm. At 4:40pm I called the florida solar energy center and asked the front desk if there had been a delivery for my husband. "no!" was the answer. I immediately called edible arrangements again and asked when. The same girl answered the phone and said she would 'check' this time and call me back. A few minutes later she called and said she was really sorry but they would not get delivered (The story 'why' kept changing; "thought the business was open til 8pm, the driver accidently brought them back on the truck, they did not get on the truck", then the kicker was... The business started blaming me! I didnt tell them to mark the box that said; deliver before 5pm! The manager than got on the phone and said he would be glad to deliver them to our house. I said we would not be home until 8pm because we were headed to the y to work out. He said he would deliver them to the y (Are you kidding me?) then he said he would deliver the arrangement to our house at 8pm. Yes, he said "sorry" several times. I suggested he deliver them and no charge me since 8pm is terribly late to excite someone about valentines day. I mean... Come on! The manager said he would not give his product away for free. (Even to keep a customer happy). I had my money returned and our valentine's day ruined. Do not use this business!
this business is run by Corporate and local level crooks, liars, thiefs, and stalkers.
charged and no delivery
Ordered basket for my son. After checking site saw the item was "delivered". After I received no call from him, I had to call and ask if he received it. (This was to be a surprise) he said he received a call from someone at edible arrangements and they asked if he would be there for the next two hours he said yes, no one has delivered the basket to this day. They did however manage to get 115.00 from my credit card!

You've got to call the 877 number on their website. File a complaint and the store will have to get back to you within 3 business days. If they don't, then their corporate office will help you! I had a similar situation in NJ.
