eFax billing

Hello I have been getting continuous payments going out from your company since February without my permission I've never even heard of your company. How do I get my money back. I don't understand why I've been charged when I've never signed up to this website nor have any use or knowledge of it. I will contact appropriate people if you're not willing to pay my money back

eFax unauthorized charges on my account from j2 efax services

On July 21, 2019, my bank statement had a charge from J2EFAX Services, I have no idea who these people are and did not authorize any payments.
I did call 323-817-3205 and spoke to a representative and explained I was very upset about these charges, he gave my an email address (creditdepartment@J2.com) which turned out to be a phoney email. He asked me to send him proof that they charged my bank account.

I really give it no stars as they are horrible. This company lied about their policies on cancelling and have very bad service, capabilities and customer service. Stay away is my recommendation as there are many more honest companies around to provide. Just be careful as they lurk behind many names. Anything J2Global is bad would be my guess. They told me if I cancelled I could still use the service as I paid until a date and all the information would be retained...that was a lie. Do not trust this company on any level and certainly with your credit card. I have cancelled the associated card number and requested a new one for my protection. A very, very, bad company.

eFax fax service

I signed up for eFax today and upon logging in, I saw faxes from previous owners. It is a HUGE security breach. Their faxes had subjects like loan information, bank information which would contain their address, social security, balance, etc. I can't trust this company and went ahead and cancelled my account. If I can see someone else's faxes, someone else can see your faxes. Stay away from this company. When I called the customer service, I was redirected three times and the guy on the other side said it's a "software glitch". Software glitch doesn't show faxes from 2016. This is been broken since then. This is a security issue and possible legal issue.

eFax billing my credit card when unauthorized

I received a call from my credit card company on Jan. 20, 2019, asking about charges on my credit card from J2 Efax Plus Services, I had NOT authorized any of these charges and my credit card was stopped. This morning January 21, 2019, I noticed another charge on my account.

I will be calling the company and my bank and put a STOP on all further charges.

eFax billing

This company is a complete scam. I would happily join a class action lawsuit. wendy.[protected]@j2support.com - I spoke with Wendy today to cancel my account and refund me three charges that showed up on my bank statements. These are charges I never ever authorized. They wouldn't refund my money, all they would do is cancel my account "free of charge". Their customer support team is in India and supervisors don't take calls. There is also no way of getting in charge with finance.

What a joke. Save your money, and if you do get charged - go through your bank. They are helpless.

You guys have the worst billing department ever. Can't understand what they are saying and I speak spanish so I am use to accents. Problem they get upset, rude and vindictive (place you on hold as a punishment) then have the nerve to talk low when you asked them to repeat the yell. LOL! I was quick to lose my patients and cancelled. Only time I was treated properly was when I subscribed, of course you get treated nicely and an agent who speaks clearly. I had the subscription for a year or more, first time calling the billing department and was lied to the first time and was transferred. Had to 2 more times finally although still rude, got a cancellation while on hold. Once, I got the email I hung up.

eFax impossible to cancel

Good luck in your attempts to cancel their service. It's impossible to do.
I experienced it and know what I am talking about. Even though I sent them letters, emails and also called them to confirm the cancellation, all of this was absolutely useless. They didn't stop charging my money every month.
So don't even think of dealing with this company, because you will never get rid of them

eFax charged my credit card without authorization

I had initially received services with a company named Online Faxes. They were supposedly bought out by EFAX and sent me bogus emails that they were replacing my service. I never confirmed I wanted to continue with the service and I found a charge taken from my credit card for $99.99. I never authorized this purchase and spent over 2 hours on the phone with the company trying to get my money back. They refuse to reimburse me and state that I needed to opt out when the company was bought out by them. I cancelled my service through them and asked to at least be reimbursed everything but the two weeks interim that I had not noticed I was receiving their services. By the way, I have not never sent an email using their services because I am on medical leave for cancer, not working right now hence not able to readily check my email. Even after informing them of my circumstances, they still refused to reimburse me.

eFax j2 efax plus service

I have been unable to cancel this account despite trying several times. My reference number is mt70050319000010, other number on statement is [protected]. Can you please do something about this. We have now sold the business but this payment is still being taken off. There is £9.00 being deducted every month, the last email I received said that they couldn't find our account. All the reference numbers are there so can't really understand why this would be so. I would be really grateful if this could be sorted out.

eFax unauthorized credit card charges

I subscribed for their eFax service for one can send faxes and receive faxes through an email address. I tried to send a fax of one page on Dec. 31st, 2015 and got charged 10 euros. After contacting customer support, I was informed by email that I must have surpassed the maximum number of pages I was allowed to send under the terms of the subscription service. That was the only fax I sent in the period of several months. After contacting customer support by phone, I was told that their systems calculates the charge for a fax automatically and has indicated that I have to be charged extra. I was also told that there is no way they can reimburse me and instead will offer me a number of extra pages I can send for the month.

I haven't used the service since and in July, I was informed by my bank that J2 Global is tried to charge my credit card several times for a small amount and that the attempts were rejected because they seemed suspicious. I contacted customer support and asked to halt my annual subscription which was due to renew in August. I thought that was it until on August 14th, I was contacted again by my bank to inform me that there were 4 additional attempts to charge my credit card which is now expired.

It would be appreciated if they terminate my subscription immediately and stop making ridiculous attempts at charging my expired credit card.

eFax fraud

I had an account on eFax website and decided to cancel my subscription because they fraudulently took my money without my permission. They charged over $170 for a one year membership! They never asked my permission and I never told them I wanted to become a member! I immediately contacted customer service and asked them to refund my money but they said that according to their policy that was not possible. In the end they finally agreed to cancel my account but never gave my money back. I would not recommend eFax to anyone! Save your hard earned money!

eFax electronic fax

They offer you a 30 day trial for free but gather your info to continuously charge your account. The trick is that they wait for over 60 days to make the first charge hoping you won't notice. You can't get through to cancel anything right after you sign up for the trial so time goes by. The only way I got notification was from my bank which is tied to my paypal account. Luckily my statement had a bone vide contact number. I called and spoke to someone who was more than willing to issue a cancellation at that time but would not issue a refund. I never authorized the use of my card for a subscription of any sort. In fact, I never even used their trial offer. Watch out for this company.

eFax efax.com (efax) is a scam

eFax is a scam.
I've signed up for their 30 day trial and decided to cancel the next day. Simple, right?
Nope.
You can only cancel by contacting their customer support which is abysmal. Expect to be on hold for a w-h-i-l-e.
And guess what? They charged me $10 activation and $16.95 for one month.

The trial period is a scam. Don't give them your cc info.

eFax detractions from my barclay card

About 6 months ago or more i've cancelled my e-fax account, but they still debit my barclay card every month - last one on
"27.01.2016 23.01.2016 22.01.2016 j2 efax plus service [protected] gb 490638xxxxxx1264 elisabeth walther 13, 42-"
Not only that I informed them that I did not want e-fax anymore and I didnt use it, but also that i'd not allow them anymore to deduct the amount of 13, 42€/month from my barclay card.
Until today they continue to deduct these amounts and don't even reply to my complaints.
Since barclay card can neither refund nor stop the bookings, i'd ask you to please help me in this matter and inform me of what I can do in this case.

They charged me $169 for a service even since I hadn't used them since April 2011 on a corporate card which they should not of had the number for. My accountant people asked me what the expense was. I called to ask who eFax was and was told there was no refunds for the annual charge. They had horrible person on the phone. I would never recommend this company they are scammers. Posted 12.5.15
