Expedia allowed its "associated company," known as Hotelsone.com to steal money from me from my credit card when I booked a room over two months in advance at Villa 1565 in St. Augustine, Florida by not telling me the total amount of the charge and not telling me that the charges paid were non-refundable. This has been a battle with Hotelsone, Expedia, and my bank may go to the Consumer Finance Agency depending on the response from my bank. I called Expedia and at first, they didn't know my booking number. The customer representative had to leave the phone and look it up and then told me that it was Hotelsone's booking number and that they authorized Hotelsone (a fake booking company) make the transaction and steal my money. Expedia describes Hotelsone as an "associated company" but does not tell you how Expedia is affiliated with Hotelsone. Hotelsone runs a scam on a hotel called Villa 1565 in St. Augustine. I saw the hotel. It's a dump. No one stays there except maybe some homeless people or unsuspecting companies. Hardly any cars were there. Expedia allows Hotelsone to steal money from people on fake booking sites. After you inadvertently pay your money on your credit card, you are then told "sorry - those fees were non-refundable and we told you so" but they didn't. Do not use a third party booking company.
Claimed loss: $652.00
Desired outcome: I want my money back.
