Terrible Customer Service and Lost Credits: My Experience with Fabkids
I gotta say, I'm pretty darn upset with Fabkids right now. I mean, seriously, what kind of customer service is this? I've been waiting for someone to chat with me for over 45 minutes and still no one has come to my aid. It's just plain awful! But that's not even the worst part. The real reason I'm writing this review is because I had two Fabkids accounts that were cancelled and I am beyond ANGRY because I had member credits that are now gone.
Let me give you the backstory. I recently had to dispute charges against Fabkids with my bank (AMEX) because I had changed my credit card information on the Fabkids site to charge my VISA instead of my AMEX. But even after changing the information, I continued to have two months worth of monthly 'membership' charges, in the amount of $29.95 each, charged to my AMEX card. That's four charges in total, two per account. I disputed the charges, but AMEX found in THEIR favor, not mine, and didn't refund the charges. I was pretty irritated, but I figured it wasn't a big deal because I knew I would get the outfit credits for each charge.
Fast forward to today. I tried to log in to use my credits (plus others I had accumulated over the months - I had several left) and found out that all of my accounts were cancelled. I am seriously upset at this point. It was bad enough that they continued to charge a card they weren't authorized to charge, it was bad enough that my dispute found in their favor even though it was obvious the wrong card was being charged, but it takes the cake to find out they have now cancelled my accounts (without even informing me) and done away with all my saved up credits.
My family and I don't have a lot of money, and saving those credits was the only way I was able to afford to buy my kids clothes for Christmas! Something needs to be done to rectify this situation IMMEDIATELY. I want my credits back so I can buy the clothes I've ALREADY PAID FOR! Please get back to me ASAP with a solution to the situation.
Oh, and by the way, I'm still waiting for someone to chat with me. It's been an hour now. If you're going to offer a chat service, you should at least have someone available to help customers in a timely manner.
Canceling FabKids Membership: A Frustrating Experience with Helpful Customer Service
If you're looking to cancel your membership with FabKids, be prepared for a bit of a struggle. I had to go through a live chat with a representative named Mia, and it took her a full 20 minutes to respond to my initial message. However, once she did respond, she was polite and helpful.
I had to be firm in my request to cancel, as Mia tried to convince me to stay with the company by offering me a $5 credit for future purchases. While this may be a good deal for some, I simply wanted to cancel my membership and not be charged again.
Overall, the experience was a bit frustrating, but I was eventually able to cancel my membership. It's important to stand your ground and not be swayed by the representative's attempts to keep you as a member. The clothing quality may not be up to par for some, and if that's the case, it's best to cancel and find a different company that better suits your needs.
Disappointed with FabKids: Wrong Order and Poor Customer Service
I had a pretty bad experience with FabKids in the past, and unfortunately, my recent order has left me feeling disappointed once again. I was really excited to take advantage of a great deal and order some clothes for my niece and nephew as Christmas gifts. I even paid extra for expedited shipping to make sure the clothes would arrive in time for the holiday. However, when the order arrived, I was really let down. I had ordered a 4 pack of girl's leggings, each in a different color, but instead I received 4 pairs of the same color. This was a big problem because the leggings didn't match the dresses and tops I had picked out. I immediately reached out to customer service to explain the issue and see if they could help me out.
The representative I spoke to was polite and understanding, but unfortunately, they couldn't do much to fix the problem. They offered to exchange the 3 pairs of leggings that were the wrong color, but I explained that this was a Christmas gift and I needed them to arrive before the holiday. The representative assured me that the leggings would arrive in time, so I agreed to the exchange. However, a few days later, I received an email saying that the leggings wouldn't arrive until after Christmas. I was really upset and frustrated, so I reached out to customer service again.
This time, the representative I spoke to wasn't as helpful. I explained the whole situation and expressed my disappointment that I wouldn't be able to give a complete gift. The representative apologized, but said there was nothing they could do to expedite the exchange order. They did refund the $14.99 I had paid for expedited shipping on the original order, but it didn't really make up for the fact that I wouldn't have a complete gift to give on Christmas.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience with FabKids. If everything goes smoothly and your order is correct, the site and clothing might be great, but unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The customer service representatives were polite, but they couldn't really help me out in the end. I just wish I could have given my niece and nephew complete outfits for Christmas.
Mixed Feelings About FabKids: A Review of Clothing and Shoe Site for Kids
I gotta say, I really do love FabKids. But, there are a few things that kinda bummed me out after I looked into it more. My first orders were a bit of a mess - I didn't receive them and was sent back to the site without requesting it. Then, some exchanges that were supposed to be held for me ended up not being so and I was credited instead. I still wasn't able to get the same amount of items on my original VIP orders that were sent back for exchange. The exchanges were still too big.
I found out that the shoe sizes without a "y" beside them are actually adult sizes, not just regular kid or big kid sizes. That doesn't really make sense to me, since it's supposed to be FabKids, not Fab Adults. I saw that the site is linked with ShoeDazzle and Just Fab, which I assumed were for adults. To me, FabKids should only have kids' shoes, clothing, and items. So, the shoes I ordered for my daughter, I guess she will just have to grow into...because I was assuming that since it's FabKids, they were kids' big kid sizes, not actually adults. So, that's kinda disappointing.
I'm still thinking of trying to send them back for another exchange, but I'm not really wanting to worry about whether or not the exchange that I was assured would be held, as stated by customer service, would even be there. Now, I feel like the quality of the shoes could definitely be better, especially for the price. The clothing prices, even clearance items, and shoes, even with VIP, are pretty costly. Very costly, actually. So, the overall first order experience wasn't great. And I'm satisfied to a certain extent now after viewing the site fully, with the styles and orders, just not completely satisfied 100 percent.
For the most part, I really do love the styles. The clothing and shoes are very adorable and my daughter loves the styles as well. But, I'm somewhat disappointed she can't wear them right now. Customer service was very helpful, though, and nice with working with me and trying to help with the mixups and other things. I really don't like the complete membership cost of being charged almost $50 if you don't make a purchase or even forget to skip. That's kind of crazy, honestly. But, I try to be humble and give places chances.
Overall, I do love the styles, the ideas, the adorable shoes, and the clothes. My daughter loves her leggings and some of the other items we bought. I just wish it was only a fully kid clothing/shoe/accessories site. But, overall, I will most likely purchase something here and there when the prices are decent enough for certain items. There are some items I just won't pay that high of a price for after really looking over the material.
Yes, I would recommend FabKids to people who have children and who could most definitely afford the prices. And even if not, I would recommend FabKids because of the amazing styles and options of shoes. The clothing, I wish there were more options and styles, mostly when there is a sale. You would just have to try it for yourself.
FabKids Review: False Advertising, Shady Business Practices, and Useless Store Credit
I recently made a purchase from FabKids and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I received an email stating that my items had been delivered, but they were nowhere to be found. I waited several days before contacting the company, as I needed the items for an upcoming trip. When I finally reached out, they told me they would ship the items again, but instead they credited my account and sent the items against that credit. I paid for the items with cash, so this was a red flag for me.
To make matters worse, when an item was out of stock, they credited my account instead of issuing a refund to my credit card. This was done without my consent and I was not happy about it. When I returned an item that was not as described, they only offered me store credit, claiming that the items were final sale when they were not. I had to argue with them just to get the store credit, which was not issued upon receipt of the items as it should have been.
The biggest issue I had with FabKids is that their store credit is essentially useless. The prices of their items are three times higher than other retailers, so even with store credit, you end up paying more than you would elsewhere. When I tried to use my store credit, I was told I had to pay more than twice the amount just to use it. This is not only a scam, but it's also fraud.
Every time I tried to get a refund, FabKids tried to stop me and come up with a different reason why I needed to have store credit instead. This is illegal and unacceptable. I only purchased from them because they advertised soft leggings, which my daughter needs due to sensory issues, but they were not as described. It's false advertising and a shady business practice.
I will be reporting FabKids to the FTC and I hope they are held accountable for their actions. No company should be allowed to get away with these scandalous tactics. It's a shame that they feel the need to resort to such measures when they could just be a legitimate company and treat their customers fairly. Karma will catch up to them eventually.

Be careful, additional charges
My friend advised me to buy some clothes for my kids from www.fabkids.com. I ordered and when I checked my account, I saw the charge in amount of $29.99. The company charged me, but I have no idea for what. I opened their website and found out that it was fee for the usage of their website. I haven’t paid for the membership, and it was fee. I won’t buy from them again, because it is unfair to post such info with small letters and don’t warn your customers about these fees.
One pair was ruined and seller hasn't returned money back
I ordered two pairs of sneakers from the website www.fabkids.com. It was deal, ‘coz I paid for the two pairs only $35. I got the sneakers, but the quality was horrible. One pair was completely ruined and torn, so I couldn’t wear them at all. I returned this pair back, but the seller still hasn’t returned my money back or even replied to my emails. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.
They automatically subscribed me for the membership
The company www.fabkids.com is total rip off. I ordered outfit from them, but these jerks automatically enrolled me to their membership program. After that they charged me for $150 within several weeks. I called to the customer services and asked about refund, but they refused to provide any money back. Also they promised to stop the membership, but they continued to take money from me. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
What a scam!
I paid almost $40 to have four photos of my kid uploaded to fabkids.com site, being told throughout the transaction and the website I would receive free subscriptions to magazine, only to be charged additional if I choose to add any of these items to my cart. It says "free" in the cart but watch out, there are charges at the bottom of the cart list. What a scam!
I ordered shoes here and was automatically signed up to pay a monthly fee for a membership.
This company is a scam. I can't get into my account and they keep charging me $49.99 a month and won't cancel my membership or return 3 months of payments I haven't been able to use due to their website being down.
Will automatically sign you up for a 40 monthly charge and lie about the refund told me on Jan 12 that my account would be processed in 5-7 days on Feb 2 called (21 days later) and told the refund had never been started
I got charged 29.95 an didn't even buy nothing an I shouldn't have no VIP account with yall an I would like my money back please
I place a order for some black high too tennis shoes, on December 19, 2015 so they would be here by Christmas I paid extra postage to make sure they would be here, as of today December 24, 2015your representative tell me I will not be receiving my granddaughter tennis shoes! She pick them out herself and a purple pair of boots with sequins but no size 3..now I have to wait four extra days after Christmas. I'm very disappointed because I feel if I pay a service I should receive it. My granddaughter lost her mom on June 22, 2015 on her birthday and tried to make sure she won't be disappointed. So I had to let somebody know how upset I am. Thanks, Ms. Jerelene Hunt
