There was more than one issue that has kept me from going back! The first problem occurred when I had a 930am Saturday appointment. I arrived at the salon only to find the door was locked. I sat in the parking lot thinking that someone would arrive shortly. After an hour, I called the salon to leave a message explaining my dissatisfaction. The next day, I get a call from the manager-Chelsea explaining that she had an employee call out on Saturday and she closed the salon. You mean to tell me one person called out sick and that was reason enough to close the business for the day? She had absolutely no back up, should this happen? A pretty poor excuse if you ask me!
To get my final point across, about a week ago, I walked in on a Saturday and they were able to get me in for a haircut. The stylist named Ny, has me sit sideways in the chair and she begins cutting my hair. Mind you, who ever has a client sit sideways? Anytime, I’ve had my haircut, I’m always facing the mirror! When I asked her to move the chair so I’m facing the mirror, I then see that my hair was not cut evenly in two spots. By this point I was furious. She never offered to wash my hair which was included in the price of the cut! Four days later, I get yet another call from Chelsea, the manager. At this point, I was done with this salon. I called back and requested my profile be removed from their computer, as I wouldn’t be back!
There are many salons in the Doylestown, Pennsylvania area. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Fantastic Sam’s, as they are far from Fantastic!
Recommendation: Avoid this hair salon!!
